Saphira looked at the console screen, it was currently a dark green with lighter green writing. She saw that it gave her options of which animatronic she could work on. She noticed it listed all the animatronics but the daycare attendent and Music Man. She knew Music Man could not be here, but the other bot, she was not sure of the reason.

"Alright, select Bonnie so the system knows which animatronic we will be looking at first," Cliff said, stepping aside so Saphira could do it herself. She nodded and used the keyboard to select Bonnie. The next screen comes up to other options, the first was listed as 'General Maintenance', followed by 'Upgrade', 'Emergency Maintenance' and 'Endo Work'. "Alright, the only thing you need to worry about is the General Maintenance part Saphira. The other parts are a bit more complex."

Saphira did not argue with that and selected General Maintenance. There was a ring tone sound that startled her and the door of the cylinder began to rise to allow them access. Saphira moved her hands away from the keyboard as she saw the next part on the screen was 'Maintenance Complete', so she could not do anything more.

'Time for Glamrock Bonnie's scheduled maintenance. Please step into the protective similar once the star is comfortable in his chair. It is recommended that no mistakes are made during the procedure.'

Saphira was surprised hearing the recording through the speakers and she wondered what the last sentence meant. She flinched with a slight gasp when she heard Bonnie's footsteps. They were heavy steps as he walked into the cylinder and he approached the chair casually. She watched take a seat and move his body around, resting his feet on the chair rest that was extremely large. Bonnie looked at Saphira and his lips seemed to give her a gentle smile. She did not find it comforting.

"Alright, let us go inside." Cliff walked around Saphira and she followed him. "Just to let you know, the door will close behind us until we have completed the process." She widened her eyes in alarmed and turned to see the door closing behind them. "But there is no need for alarm, we are perfectly safe."

"So long as no mistakes are made…" Saphira said nervously and swallowed hard. She breathed deeply and turned, Cliff was standing on the right side of Bonnie. He gestured for her to go to Bonnie's left side, and she hesitantly approached Bonnie. She glanced at him while trying not to look at him directly in the eye. "So…uh, I suppose you should tell us if anything feels strange?"

Bonnie was pleased that Saphira took the initiative to ask the question instead of cliff. "Nothing terribly major. A kid spilled some soda on my hands though, I think they're still sticking." He stretched out his hands, turning them around. Saphira stepped back slightly while Cliff touched the right hand. "I hope I don't get any kind of rust…"

"Does rust happen regularly?" Saphira asked curiously. If they did, that meant whatever they were made of was cheap quality, and that was not really good for robots.

"No." Cliff responds. "The last time Bonnie had rust was six months ago inside his stomach hatch. There is a story behind that…but Bonnie does not like to talk about it. And nor do we." He scrunched his nose a little as he remembered the incident while Bonnie also seemed to grimace at the memory. "He had to stay here until he was thoroughly cleaned up for a week. He nearly went mad from being stir crazy."

"That sounds interesting…" Saphira breathed in deeply. She jumped a little when a cloth dropped in front of her face, she had not seen Cliff pressing some buttons. "Oh…" She realized she had to clean the rabbit's hand. She glanced at Cliff to see he had already began to wipe the cloth around the right hand. They were luckily damp so Saphira stepped closer. "I guess we will do an analysis after this."

"Correct."

Cliff paid little attention to Saphira as she gentle placed the cloth over the massive hand and began to clean. She could feel the stickiness on her fingers and wiped the cloth all over to remove any and all stickiness. Bonnie watched quietly, he wanted to observe everything she was doing. So far, despite her fear, she was actually doing a good job. A lot better then the previous night guards' first nighs. Of course, it was too early to tell. Saphira needed to properly analyze Bonnie's system and open his stomach hatch for anything he might not notice. That was the real text.

Saphira tapped her fingers quickly on Bonnie's hand and was relieved there was no stickiness. "All done…there is zero stickiness." She smiled slightly and glanced up to see Cliff raised his hand and give his cloth to a robotic arm from above that took it away. She did the same and pulled her hand back quickly because it felt like a harsh snap. "Alright…which tool do I use?" However, her eyes spotted a console resting downward by Bonnie's shoulder. She reached out to it and it turned to face her suddenly. She gasped and tensed from the sudden movement. "Does everything need to move so suddenly?!"

"Sorry, that is just the way they are designed," Cliff said with a light chuckle. "That is the right tool though. The console allows you to scan animatronics and to guide you through the steps to remove parts of the body if need be. For now, scan his system and after that, we will do something else."

Saphira tilts her head a little as this device intrigued her. There was similar tools when she studied her robotics course, but this one was different. She found the analysis button and pressed it, she heard a loud beep and glanced up as a green light scanned over Bonnie's body. She glanced at the console again as on it's small screen it showed the full interior of Bonnie's body. She hummed as she watched the screen, green ticks began to show as it seemed like he was functioning properly. This was pretty cool.

"I must admit, this device is pretty cool." Saphira smiled and looked over at Cliff. "We had something at the college, it was not as detailed as this. I mean, it even shows the wiring, the processors, voice box and…" She tilts her head as in the crotch area of the bot there seemed to be odd amount of wires and rubber she did not understand was for. "I am not sure what that is, but it is pretty cool."

"You studied robotics?" She jumped when Bonnie spoke to her directly, she had almost forgotten he was there. "I find it curious you are afraid of us." He blinked as he studied her, curious to know why she was afraid. "Why are you afraid?"

She took a moment to realize she was holding her breath and breathed out loudly and breathed in deeply. "Uhh…well…I guess…" She did not know how to answer that question. She rubbed the back of her neck and glanced at Cliff. "Can we continue please? I am…" She glanced at Bonnie before looking away quickly. "I'm not sure if I should answer…"

Bonnie did not respond, though he truly wanted to understand this fear of them. Especially since she seemed so bright and enjoyed working on machines. "Okay, open his stomach hatch." Saphira widened her eyes when Cliff gave her the next instruction. "That scanner does not detect everything. His stomach hatch is meant to hold pinatas and oversized birthday cakes most of the time, but it can carry other things too. But it allows us a closer view of the endoskeleton and we can see stuff the scanner cannot. Don't trust it."

Saphira tensed her lips together, almost biting her lip as she was unhappy with the next task. She glanced at the hatch, feeling awkward and reached her hand to button on his abdomen. She pressed it and pulled her hand back when it opened. She peered inside and found herself on her tippy toes just to see inside. She blinked, finding herself amazed at the design. She say the different wiring that connected all the important parts of Bonnie's body, she could see they were alive by the gently vibrations and the circuits that were running well. She tilts her head a little, there was a gentle humming that was not made by Bonnie's voice box. She listened as it had a pattern of rising and falling gently.

"I've never heard that before…what is that?" Saphira's eyes spot something and she leaned further slightly. "Oh! That's a moldy piece of cake!" She grimaced a bit and reached up to see if she could get another cloth. "Ew…I am surprised nobody noticed."

"We didn't…" Cliff seemed very shocked, as did Bonnie. "As for the sound…that's coming from the main core in their chest. Think of it as their heart. It is pretty cool to hear."

She was given another cloth and reached in to wipe out the cake piece. "Yes I suppose it is. Ugh! This thing is so far! My damn arms are short!" She struggled a bit more until she was able to wipe the piece free, it was stuck to the endo and she wiped it clean. But everything else seemed to be in working order. "Eww…I hope that is the only problem."

"Seems like it, I don't see anything that could cause Bonnie further trouble." Cliff smiled, looking at Saphira as he was proud she was able to overcome her fear. But it really was her interest in their internal designs that made her not think about Bonnie directly. "Well done, we can close the hatch now."

Saphira smiled as the cloth was removed and she closed the stomach hatch. It felt good that she was finished, and it was not as bad as she thought it would be. She shrugged a little, wondering why she was afraid, but as soon as Bonnie shifted she felt herself tense again and glance at him fearfully. She moved the console away and walked to the door quickly, it rose way too slow for her taste, but she got out as quickly as she could.

"Hmmph!" She was startled when she heard Monty's gruff voice. "See Freddy, I told you she was a wimp! Even though she was not bad for her first maintenance try." Freddy?! He's here?! Saphira tried to ignore that as she turned to face the console and clicked complete to finish the procedure.

'Bonnie is all ready and fit for the next show and to beat kids at bowling.'

Saphira felt a hand on her shoulder and she was being shaken a little as a congratulations. "You did very well Saphira. I am impressed you were able to do that without messing up. Most people mess up and causing unnecessary stress to the animatronics." Cliff paused for a moment as Saphira breathed deeply, she could hear Bonnie walking out of the cylinder. "You should turn around and meet the rest of the gang. They arrived shortly after we started the procedure."

"Argh! She's no wimp, the lass did a good job Monty. Don't be such a bully." She turned her head slightly to glance towards whoever said that, her eyes first landed on a red fox animatronic wearing a black eyepatch with a yellow star on it. "Ahoy lassie! I am pleased to meet you. A much nicer lass than the previous night guards."

Saphira turned her whole body to look at him. She blinked a little as she looked at him. He had a little tuft of spiky hair on his head, his left ear had too gold ring piercings and he had a turqoise, vest on with yellow, round, naval shaped shoulder pads. He still had the eighty's theme that had been blended with his pirate them. His hook on his left arm was resting by his side, he had a black spiked armband on his right arm and his legs looked like he was wearing a pair of pants, just like Bonnie and Bonnie. They were orange down to his knees, the calves were red with a flame, turqoise pattern on the bottom. He had a friendly expression on his face, his dark yellow eye watched her quickly.

"Um…I…I had no idea…there was a captain here," Saphira said nervously, trying to make a joke that seemed to fail as Foxy frowns slightly. "Sorry…ummm…" She glanced at Cliff with a slight frown. "Can I go back to my office?"

"And ignore the rest of us?! Oh, how rude!" Snapped a female voice and Saphira looked to owner, a purple wolf standing with her arms folded. "Monty's right, you're a wimp and a loser. Probably no friends either!"

"Roxy!" Daisy snapped at the wolf bot angrily, causing the bot to roll her eyes. "That was no nice!"

"I don't care." Roxy huffed and turned around to have her back towards Saphira. "She is nothing, so I don't care. Just like all of the night guards."

The brief moment Saphira saw Roxy, she actually found the bot quite pretty. She appeared to be wearing a red tank top and really short, shorts, they both had black spiky designs on them and her right red shoulder pad had the same pattern. She had appeared to have eyeshadow on her eyelights, her wrists and calves were a darker purple with black stripes and then there was the hair and long tail. Light purple with her fringe being curved and bright green. She also had studs in both ears with ring piercings.

"You're pretty…" Saphira breathed out casually, tensing a little realizing she had said a compliment to one of the bots.

Roxy turned her head in surprise before facing her whole body towards Saphira and brushed back her hair confidently. "Why thank you! My hair is beautiful, my tail is beautiful…you will never be like me."

"That is true…" Saphira was not going to argue, it seemed this bot had narcissim written into her programing. She did not know if that was a good thing. "But you are right about the friends part…not even parents…oh…" She glanced away when she realized she said too much.

Roxy was shocked when Saphira admitted to not having friends or parents, her ears lower slightly as she felt a little guilty. However, she said nothing. Bonnie was saddened to hear that and he almost extended his hand to place on Saphira's shoulder, but Cliff stopped him as he did not want Saphira to get a big fright.

"No matter what happens, you are a super star Saphira. We can be your friends if you would like." She lifts her eyes to meet the blue optics that belonged to the one, and only Freddy Fazbear. He had a gentle smile on his lips and stepped forward, almost making her step back. "There is nothing to be scared of Saphira. You are safe with us. I am very pleased to meet you. Despite what the others have said, you are a super star."

"You say that to everybody!" Monty scoffs, mocking Freddy slightly. "Humph! I'm going back to my room. I've had enough of this!" He glanced at Saphira and points at her, causing her to flinch. "Don't even bother checking on me either, I don't intend on leaving my room at all tonight."

The gator huffs loudly and stomps towards the staff, walking up them quickly and walked through the doorway that had a gator symbol on it. Saphira was a bit relieved, she realized Monty was going to be very hard to deal with. Freddy and Bonnie was very unimpressed, Foxy seemed to not be concerned and Roxy did not care.

"Nevermind him." His blue eyes gaze back at Saphira. "Monty's temper…it can be a big problem at times. But he really is a big softie underneath it. So I hope you give him a chance."

This bear seemed to be like a lot like a father or brother figure Saphira had not encountered in a long time. Freddy was mostly a brown orange over most of his body, his stomach hatch and muzzle was a much lighter brown colour with his lower lip with a blue stripe that blended in to make it seem connected to the lightning bolt on his chest. Surrounding his eyes was like a blue mask with a red trim and his hat sat slightly to the side on his head. He also had a piercing ring in his left ear. It seemed most of them had this feature. He had red shoulder pads and calves with black spike bands on his wrists. He had a nifty, black tie on his chest above his stomach hatch, he was almost like the original design with a more modern appearance. He definitely was not as stiff and large like the original Freddy. His presence was a lot less intimidating…she did not know why, but she was still afraid.

"Umm…we will see Freddy." Saphira glanced away from the animatronic, there was one more left. She looked up, this animatronic was holding her hands together to the side slightly with a hopeful, cheerful expression. "Uhhh…Chica right?"

"Yes, that's me!" She squealed loudly, jumping up and down in the spot. The thudding vibrating in the ground and Saphira took several steps back. Chica stopped when she realized she was scaring sorry. "Ooops! Sorry, I forget that I am very clumsy! But I promise to make it up to you. I hope you like pizza, because I LOVE pizza!"

Saphira's face changed from fear to confusion. This animatronic said she loves pizza like she's eaten it before. "Umm…you love pizza…how?"

"Ahem!" Cliff coughed loudly and glanced at Saphira with a smirk. "Chica likes eating garbage and pizza around the pizzaplex. We had to add something to her so that all of that can be burned and broken down without causing so much damage like it used too…but cleaning her beak and voice box is a regular occurance."

How can this bot even taste pizza? That was even more confusing. Altough, Chica's design was interesting. She had very light, pink colour to most of her body, she had threw feathers leaning to the side with a hot pink ribbon and on either side of her head she had triangle earrings that were black based with different colours. At the end of her yellow beak, she had hot pink lips and it appeared she was wearing a one piece as well. Her shoulder pads and stomach were hot pink while her chest and bikini area were a slightly lighter pink, not the same colour as the rest of the body though. She had black spiked wrist bands, her palms were a flourescent green and she had yellow, bird shaped feet. Her left thigh was the same hot pink as the ribbon, stomach and shoulder pads with tiger stripes, while the right leg had flourescent green with leopard spots, it was odd but it worked for her.

"It saves adding to the junk pile underneath the facility Cliff. I am just doing my part…" Chica placed a hand on her chest as a confident gesture. "Besides, no body has bothered to try and stop it so I know I am doing a good job." She looked at Saphira with a smile. "But seriously, if you want to share a pizza, I am down."

"What she means by sharin' is, she will hawk the whole thing down before you get a single slice." Chica turned her head and glared at Foxy when he spoke up. Foxy huffed and grinned, flashing his sharp, white teeth. "I would not lie lass, aye, you know that. You know nothin' 'bout sharin'."

"Ugh! I do not hawk it down!" Chica snapped, stamping her feet like a teenager throwing a tantrum. "You just wish you could eat pizza and garbage like me."

"And spend a day in Parts and Service decommissioned while I am pulled apart? No thanks! We are not that stupid." Foxy chuckled as Chica squawks, unimpressed that he mentioned something that had actually happened. "I rather be in Kids Cove tellin' a good ol' story. Or, manning the ship for battle."

"It's not even a real ship," Roxy said bluntly. "You should come to the raceway where the real kids and winners are." She brushes her hair back again and swings her hips to the side slightly, showing off to the bot. Saphira noticed how Cliff, Jack, Mason and Dave noticed with suggestive eyes. "You could never hope to beat me."

He lifts his left arm to show his hook, it spun around in place and that surprised Saphira. "I can't drive lass. But…I am a better piano player than you. Everybody loves me too."

Rolling her yellow eyes, Roxy turned and walked towards the stairs. "You're just a wimp Foxy. You can drive, you just know you're a loser." She glanced back at Saphira briefly for a moment before she walking through her door without anything else to say.

Cliff turned to face Saphira after glancing at his Fazwatch. "It is eleven thirty now Saphira, you should go and do a sweep of the pizzaplex to make sure all the guests have left. Most of the staff will be gone by now except for the last couple customer service members."

"Oh yeah it is…I better go then." Saphira smiled before she scurried towards the door to leave as quick as possible, dragging her shoes along the cement loudly as she walked briskly. "And thanks for the lesson, I will remember everything you showed me Cliff. You won't have to worry about a thing."

The doors close quickly behind her as she made her way to lift and nearly slammed her hand on the button to go up. She was finally able to breath! She placed her hands on her thighs, bending over and breathing deeply to calm down. She did not want to be there any longer. Sure, it was interesting watching them interact like they were normal people, but they were not people! As she reached the top, Saphira straightened herself up and put on a serious expression to begin making her rounds through the atrium. She checked her Fazwatch first, there were no alerts on the camera system for any of the attractions, but she checked them first anyway.

'Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for visiting and we hope you enjoyed the pizzaplex! Freddy and the gang are pretty tired, but they'll be back again tomorrow after a good night's rest. Please make your way to the front of the building where you'll be given novelty glasses, a voucher for one free soda refill, and where you will sign a legal disclaimer releasing us of all liability for anything that happened during your visit. Have an awesome night, and we'll seen you again soon.'

Okay…that was by far the weirdest intercom messages she has ever heard in her life. But, Saphira decided not to pay too much attention to it, she was going to hear it every single night at this time so she had to get used to it. She checked the bottom floor attractions first to ensure no one was in them, most of the areas had shutters down so she wanted to be sure. She was actually impressed at how clean the pizzeria was, all the tables had been cleared, wiped down and all the new utensils and hats were placed ready for the next day. She noticed bots were cleaning, a couple were removing garbage cans from the bags and she saw a few going into the bathrooms. She shuddered a little, public bathrooms were a hate of hers and she did not want to go in there unless she had to get someone out. She had her own bathroom in her office, and that was enough. She went up the next few floors, the only place that was not down was the Shy Foxette. She checked the bar quickly to make sure there was nobody passed out. Suddenly, an alert on her Fazwatch came on and she saw it was coming from the floor below outside the girl's bathroom. She quickly made her way down to see a bot standing in front of the door standing over a terrified teen girl.

"Excuse me." The girl jumped when she heard Saphira's voice. "The pizzaplex is closing honey. You need to leave. Are your parents at the front waiting for you?"

The girl sniffled and nodded. "Yes…m-my uhh…friends…they ditched me. I…I w-w-was scared t-t-to be alone."

Saphira smiled kindly at the girl and extended her hand to her to take her to the elevator. "You're not alone. I am Saphira, I am the security guard and you will be fine." She glanced at the bot as it rolled back into the bathroom and the girl walked beside her nervously. "Those damn bots are scary aren't they?"

"Yea…especially the map bot." The map bot was still hanging around by the elevator. It did not seem to notice them as she had a map, and Saphira's Fazwatch gave off a signal to prevent the bot from startling her. "Why is it like that?"

"I don't know. It needs to be reprogrammed honestly." Saphira pressed the button to open the elevator doors and stepped inside. "It's a flaw that apparently can't be fixed. But when a new technician is hired, hopefully they can do it."

Saphira began to hum as the music played while the elevator moves to the lobby. The teen smiled slightly as she heard Saphira humming. "This place has the best dance music ever. I wish I came on the show night. My friends told me it was tonight, but it only happens Friday and Saturday."

"I am surprised you were allowed to come since it's a school night." Saphira looked at her Fazwatch and pressed buttons to find the girl's profile. She found her and smiled, that was good, she did not want to deal with a lost kid. The elevator dings and the doors slide open. "Alright, let's go."

Saphira walked with the girl down to the main floor, had her sign the disclaimer and walked to the front where a car was waiting. The girl recognized it and ran over, waving to Saphira to thank her before jumping in. Relieved, Saphira checked the lobby and daycare briefly to make sure it was empty. And it was. It was just her, the bots, animatronics and technicians. At least she could hide in her room for the rest of the night. At least, she hoped so.
