Tapping her fingers on the desk as she thought about everything that had just happened, Saphira pondered everything that has happened. She did not know if it will get worse as the night progresses or not, considering very soon she will be in Parts and Service for a few hours helping with the maintenance. She groaned in frustration, this tension and suspense was just getting a bit too much. Saphira told herself that she had to do it so people in the future are safe. But there were people here who could end up on the disappearance list too. She couldn't just sit around in the office though. She got up and decided to walk around the pizzaplex, it was way better than just sitting around and waiting for something to happen. Saphira walked around the atrium first briskly, she turned her flashlight on to shine at the walls to find anything that might be hiding. Someone here must have put that virus into the system, she didn't believe that it was possible for someone to be controlled by a computer virus. It sounded impossible of course, so that is what she was thinking. She did wonder if she could find Dave's office, she didn't really want to snoop around other staff offices if they had one, but he was her main suspect right now. After all, he is the only one who was considered a creep here, and his profile status puts him in the same time as the first disappearances only after he became a technician. Saphira did not find anything unsual in the atrium, but that didn't stop her from taking extra care and look around more than once, making sure each part of it was covered. She than made her way to the lobby to do the same thing, she did avoid the daycare in case going there would end badly, and again she did not find anything. She was paranoid, even if there was nothing that she could see, does not mean something was not there. Especially after the revelation from Cliff.

She stomped up the stairs to the elevators after sweeping the lobby five times, she glanced back at the lobby for a moment once she reached the top and looked ahead to get to the elevator. Only to stop when she heard someone wolf whistling at her. She snapped her head and glared, looking around for whoever just did that. She scanned the room slowly and stepped closer to the stairs before she heard a tapping from above. She looked up and widened her eyes, on the balcony overlooking the lobby from the new area above the lobby, she saw someone wearing a bright, pink clown suit with skulls printed on them, the mask the person wore was a creepy clown mask with big, yellow, sharp teeth and she saw that the suit itself had blood on it. She didn't know if it was real or fake, but seeing this thing waving back to her slowly made her shudder and turn to run to the elevator to head back to the atrium. She was nervous, she leaned on the side of the elevator as she heads to the atrium, she definitely thought about telling Cliff what she just saw. She was certain this clown was going to follow her. So she was better off heading to Parts and Service right now. Especially since she managed to waste thirty minutes going around the atrium and lobby so many times that she was sure she would be dizzy from it. Once the doors open, Saphira ran from it and stepped out onto the second balcony, taking a breather while looking around again and saw it was clear. She ran down to the bottom floor and over to the lift, there was no way she was just going to wait around and she slammed her hand on the button, sighing with relief as hearing the sound of it moving down was almost like music to her eyes. Once at the bottom, Saphira ran off it to get to Parts and Service. However, she stopped when she heard whispers from her right, she turned her head to look down the hallway that leads to the endo warehouse. The whispers were soft enough that she couldn't understand the words, but loud enough for her to hear. She turned her head away and walked briskly towards Parts and Service and she slammed the door open a little too hard. She was surprised and grabbed the doors to stop them from swinging so hard.

"Oh, you're here early!" Mason comments as he was sitting in front of the computer and watching Cliff and Marian do the maintenance on Foxy. Saphira took in deep breaths and tried to relax. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

Saphira wiped her sleeve on her face as it was covered in sweat and smiled slightly, trying to play it off. "I suppose I did. But it is okay. I did my sweep of the pizzaplex a little early so I would be down here sooner."

"That is real nice of you Saphira," Bonnie said with a smile, before he frowned a little. "But you look a little…sweaty. Your skin is glistening."

"I know…I…decided to run through the pizzaplex," Saphira responded with a force smile.

Freddy tilts his head slightly, Saphira stepped forward and this time she felt the pain of the bruise on her leg. She grimaced visibly and limped, she realized she did that in front of the animatronics and looked up at them with wide eyes.

"Ah, so you are broken." Mason turned around in surprise when Freddy spoke to Saphira. "It hurts more than you admitted to Saphira. I knew I should have taken you to the first aid."

"No, no, it really is just a bruise Freddy. Nothing in first aid can stop it from hurting." Saphira saw the worry and slightly disappointment in Freddy's expression. Sometimes she wondered how she was even able to pick up their emotions, but she could. "I am fine. It isn't going to kill me or stop me from doing my job."

"How did you get hurt?" Mason asked curiously.

"I feel on the utility tunnel stairs when I was walking back up them, no big deal. My chin scraped the edges of them that is all."

Mason grimaced as he knew that pain very well. "Ow, that is very unpleasant." He looked at Freddy and Bonnie with a smile. "She is right, it is not to worry about. She'll just be sore and have an ugly bruise for a few days."

"I hope you are right." Freddy looked back at Saphira and she walked over to him to hug him suddenly. He widened his eyes in surprise as he felt her trembling. "So super star, Bonnie has decided he wants you to help with his maintenance. He will be next, I hope won't mind."

"Not at all." Saphira looked up at him before looking around to see Roxy was not there. "Is Roxy already in her room?"

"Yes. You know what she's like." Mason smiled at her and turned his head back to the computer. "Anyway, Cliff and Marian should be done with Foxy in a moment. You won't have to wait very long."

She knew that, and she was very happy with that. Saphira walked away from Freddy to walk up to the window to peer in. She saw that Foxy's arm plates were removed right now, it appeared they were making some final touches so when his new arm was attached, it wouldn't be a big deal. She felt Freddy's presence right behind her as he walked up to her and placed a hand on her arm gently. She smiled, feeling the warmth on her skin and it brought her comfort. Freddy observed Saphira, she was tensed. Very tense. He was certain something had happened while he was in Parts and Service, he wanted to know what happened. He couldn't ask her right now with other ears listening, he knew that. But when Saphira slammed those doors open, the paleness of her skin, the gleam of the sweat and her eyes wide and full of fear, he knew something was not right. Saphira would have been excited to be here, not like she had come in here to take shelter from something. At least, that is what it looked like to Freddy. He didn't know what it was like to chased by something dangerous to hide from himself, but as he has observed Saphira's flight reaction to things that scared her, he assumed this was her way of hiding from something as well. But, he was here now. He would protect her from whatever tried to hurt her. He still did not know if he should believe her about her injury, his sensors were still going off that she was hurt.

He looked up when he heard the protective cylinder door opening and he smiled as Cliff and Marian leave the chamber, Foxy stood up and walked out with a spring in his step. He was clearly feeling good at the moment and smiled at everyone.

"Argh! Thanks me hearties! I am good to go now!" He chuckled and looked at Saphira, she was grinning at him. "Too bad you were not here to help missy, would have been nice. But me new arm gets put on Thursday, you get to help with that. I am so happy!" He dances on the spot before spinning away from the door. "Alrighty, yer turn Bonnie."

Saphira chuckled at him and look at Cliff. "I guess it was another clean slate?"

"Yea, it was. I am expecting the same for Bonnie honestly." Cliff shrugged a little and looked up at Bonnie. "But he did say his ears felt a little stiff, they probably need extra oiling honestly. But we can check that anyway."

Saphira didn't mind, she figured it might have been missed during the main maintenance after the shows. She slips away from Freddy and walked over to the computer console to start Bonnie's maintenance log. She hummed once that was ready and turned to wait for Bonnie to go into the cylinder.

"Okay Bonnie, this should not take too long." She smiled at the rabbit bot and he smiled back at her, walking into the cylinder and approaching the chair to sit on. She walked into the cylinder, taking her usual side of him to begin. "So it is just the ears huh?"

Bonnie nodded, looking back at her and lifting his right hand to nudge them, wincing a little. "They feel so stiff…I hate not being able to move them. Makes it easier for people to read my feelings when the ears work properly."

She chuckled, bringing down the console to begin scanning his body for any issues. "I suppose I don't know that feel. We can't even move our ears. I think it's not a big deal."

"Oh yeah, but I think it is. In any case, I am thankful they haven't been stiff for many months. So I am happy it isn't a regular thing." That definitely was good, she was sure they would hear about it a lot if that was not the case. "The most common issue is always something to do with the stomach hatch. I am sure you are finding that out. But, I once had a kid shoot two packs of confetti into my stomach hatch and that took Cliff and Mason to clear out."

Saphira was surprised and looked at Cliff curiously. "You didn't use a vaccuum?"

"We can't, the vaccuum would cause the joints and parts to loosen if we used one. Their bodies might be strong, but it takes certain pressures for them to be damaged. A vaccuum cleaner suction is one of them. And yes, I wish I had one that day. It was a big mess. Luckily, that has not happened again."

"I imagine anytime Bonnie sees a kid with a confetti cracker, he stays away from them." She turned to look at Bonnie with an understanding smile. "Would I be correct about that?" He nodded at her. "I don't blame you. It must have felt weird as well." She shrugged a little and looked at the scanner, it came up with yellow errors for his ears. "Ooh, well, looks like your ear issue was picked up Bonnie. Everything appears to be good."

"Good. I had no birthday party today, so my stomach hatch is all clear today." Bonnie relaxed his head back properly. "Alright, time to take my face off."

Grinning at him, Saphira pressed a few buttons and the face casings were removed, including the casings around the ears. Saphira pulled out her tiny flashlight to turn on and moved closer to Bonnie's head, shining the light at his ears. She glanced up when she saw Cliff had one of his own and she smirked at him.

"Oh I see, you stole my idea," She teased him, making him smirk back at her.

"Nah, it was just a good idea that I should have thought of years ago."

She giggled and looked back down at Bonnie's ears. She put the tip of the flashlight into her mouth and began to feel the endo skeleton gently. He was not lying that they felt stiff. She hummed softly, moving the ear gently and listening for anything that was unusual. She noticed Bonnie had his eyes shut, this was definitely uncomfortable for him.

"Hmm…seems like an oil issue…" Saphira muttered, slurring her words slightly thanks to the flashlight in her mouth.

Cliff didn't say anything, she reached up to grab some oil and a cloth before she began to carefully squeeze the oil onto the joints, taking extra care for the other joints up along the ear. Once she was finished with that, she moved the ear again and felt it was moving a little easier, but she heard a squeal. She was surprised by it and wiggled the ear and leaned her head slightly and noticed a loose connection.

"Okay…there's something…" Saphira said, pulling out the flashlight and looking up at Cliff. "There is a loose connector in his left ear here Cliff. I might need to tighten it."

"Yeah, this ear here is clear, so grab the right tool for that." Cliff looked up as he had just finished oiling the other ear and it seemed that was all what was needed.

She nodded and pulled down the tool holder and picked out a very small screwdriver. She put the flashlight back in her mouth and kneels, chewing on the flashlight lightly as she moved the end of the screwdriver to the correct point and carefully began to turn it. She focused on ensuring that it was tight, but not too tight that it would cause the same issue of the ear being too stiff. Cliff watched from the other side, even though he could be looking at it more closely, he trusted Saphira to do a good job. Once Saphira was done, she moved the ear slightly and she smiled as it was not stiff and there was no horrible sound.

"Alright, I think that has done it." She stepped back and looked at Bonnie, he opened his eyes, relieved it was over. "Sorry, I bet that wasn't very nice to feel."

"No it wasn't…but I am used to it."

That still didn't make Saphira feel any less bad that Bonnie and the other animatronics felt pain while they were being maintained. Even being upgraded would probably be painful. She hoped when the receptors were added, it won't be a terribly long time for them in the chair. She knew what that was like with a dentist, so she didn't want the bots to experience the same thing for too long.

She pressed some buttons to put the casings back on and run diagnostics. "I try and be as gentle as possible Bonnie. I know what it is like when someone is doing something to try and help you, but it is a very uncomfortable process to go through. So I try not to be harsh."

"I know, you have the gentlest hands here." Bonnie smiled at Saphira gently. "Even gentler than Daisy."

That was a good compliment. She was glad that she was the gentlest one here regarding the animatronic maintenance, and she would ensure that she remained that way. She focused on the diagnostic next, going through the sequence so that Bonnie was finished and in tip top shape. She hummed to herself, following the sequence perfectly and it was finished within two minutes. She sighed with relief and stepped back with a smile.

"All done! Your ears should be good for a while." She extended her arms up, Bonnie smiled at her as he sat up on the chair. "It must feel pretty good huh?"

"It certainly does." Bonnie rubbed his ears gently with his hands, it looked quite cute to see to her and Saphira walked out of the cylinder to complete the log. "Yes, the ears definitely should be fine for a long time."

She chuckled a little, finishing the log and turning with a satisfied sigh. "We can't have you without any ears anyway. That would look very weird." The bot nods as he walked out of the cylinder. "I suppose you'll be off to see Monty?"

He shakes his head, surprising Saphira. "No. I think I will stay here and watch you work on Freddy. Another pair of eyes out here cannot hurt."

She didn't realize that Bonnie had recognized Saphira's fear just as Freddy had. He too worried something or someone had chased her down to Parts and Service given how she entered the facility before. And he wanted to ensure that Saphira would be unharmed, even though there was unlikely to be anything that would bother them. At least, that is what Saphira assumed.

"Very well. I am sure you don't mind do you Freddy?" She smiled at him and he nodded.

"Of course not. I am often here myself watching my friends go through their routines, even when it is not my turn. It is only natural for Bonnie to stay too." Freddy walked up to the door and waited, placing a hand on his stomach. "These balloon pieces are really bothering me."

They certainly must be for Freddy to be complaining about them so much. She was surprised he wasn't brought to Parts and Service earlier to have the pieces removed. She started his maintenance log and he walked into the cylinder to take a seat. She watched him grimaced as he lowered his body and moved to lay back.

Damn balloons ruining nature and animatronics!

She rubbed her hands together and walked into the cylinder, grabbing the console to begin the scan almost immediately. She was tempted to open the stomach hatch right away, but she needed to scan him first and she knew it. Freddy gazed at Saphira, he was not focused on her body this time like he usually was while he was in this seat. He gazed at her to try and find any sense of fear and worry she might have on her face. He could see her eyes were not sparkling like they would normally be. That was at least his first clue. Saphira's body was also not as relaxed as normal, he had grown accustomed to see her fully relaxed, now she was not. She was on edge trying to act relaxed. Freddy really wanted to ask her what happened, if she would admit to him at all.

"Yep…all the signs are coming from Freddy's stomach hatch…" Saphira said, rubbing her chin as she looked at the screen. She looked at him and smiled at him. "I promise to remove all of it Freddy, you have my word."

"I trust you super star, I know you can do it." Freddy smiled back at her, he rolled his hand slightly and extended his fingers to touch her elbow. She felt his claws on her elbow, causing her to flinch slightly, even though it did not feel bad. "I hope no other balloon pops again."

"Or you simply don't have anymore inside you." She opened the hatch and turned on the flashlight, but she didn't need it to see a lot of the pieces straight away. "Holy shit! How many balloons popped in here?"

"Errr…two…I had three, only one was fine…surprisingly anyway." Freddy glanced down at his stomach, he could not see what was inside, but he definitely could feel it. "Please remove them, it really is uncomfortable."

She nodded and gets onto her tippy toes to begin removing the pieces. Most were easy to remove, and she used both hands to get it out. She passed the pieces to Cliff as she grabbed them and when she reached some that were jammed, she found that if she attempted to pull the balloon pieces out on their own, they would rip and leave pieces behind. Saphira hummed and pulled down the tool tray again to grab a thin file. She reached back in to carefully scrap the file between pieces to slide the balloon pieces out. She heard Freddy grunting a little, making her feel bad as the file must had been grinding on the endo a little. She tried to be gentler, she didn't want him to be uncomfortable at all even though she felt like she failed at that for the time being. And the balloon pieces themselves were not making it easier, she eventually had to use tweezers to help get them out because it became tricky. Especially in a few of the moving parts.

"You're doing good," Cliff said suddenly, startling Saphira and nearly making her slip up. "Better than I could. I'm a little jealous." He sighed deeply, gazing into the hatch as he watched her gently tug on a stubborn piece of balloon. "Hmmph…maybe when you become a technician here you could take my place as manager."

She was a bit shocked by his words, he thought she could take his place. That seemed a little too premature. "It's a bit soon to be saying that Cliff," She said, slurring her words slightly with the flashlight in her mouth.

"Maybe, but I can see how careful you are. None of the others are that careful, even the other women. I think you're the best thing we have here for the animatronics." Saphira nearly felt herself blushing at his words, that is what Freddy thinks too in his own way. But she appreciated it nonetheless. "Well…if you ever consider that, I will train you up for it. Not yet of course, maybe in a year's time."

"I'll consider it."

Saphira returned her focus quickly and pulled the next piece out, sighing with relief and shines her flashlight around some more. There was more pieces, but she had to get onto the actual table to reach. She was not very tall. Freddy watched her lift her knees to get onto the table, only for her to gasp a little and place a hand on her injured chin for a second as she hit her bruise. But she looked into Freddy's stomach hatch, leaning into the hatch further and reaching in to grab more pieces. Saphira felt the endo warming up slowly from this, she shakes her head a little, Freddy got to enjoy this as much as he could despite the pieces causing him discomfort. He wasn't hiding his attraction to her in this regard, especially now she knew the reason why their endos heated up in the first place. She doubted that Cliff always knew when their endos heated up, but she figured he guessed it after observing Bonnie and Monty's reaction to each other. That made a lot of sense to her. Saphira groaned as she pulled the final piece that she could see and sighed, relieved that she got it as it was surprisingly difficult to get the pieces out. But they would still need to remove the casings to double check. She slid off the table, she hops a little on her leg and turned to the console, pressing more buttons to remove the chest and stomach casings. She spotted a couple pieces of balloons and sighed, she had no idea how they got there, but it was not Freddy's fault. She leaned over him again to focus on getting them out, and she definitely needed the tweezers and file this time to get them out. It was not easy, but she remained focused, slipping one piece out at a time. She knew she was going to request that balloons not be inside of any of the animatronic stomach hatches. This was just ridiculous! She was on the final piece, it was being extremely stubborn. It was stuck between a pair of gears, which made it extra difficult, especially as she had to try to keep the gears from turning while trying to get the balloon piece out. She chewed on the flashlight nervously until she finally slipped it out and held it up victoriously.

"Finally!" She smiled happily and shakes herself to relax her muscles as much as possible. "I hope we can discuss this with Darren."

"Believe, we have tried, the balloons are not going to go away. This is not the first time we have had to remove the balloon pieces, trust me." Cliff smiled at her as she had the casings put back on to begin diagnostics. "But…most of the time…" He glanced at Freddy who was grimacing at what he was about to say. "We…we deactivate them." She looked at him in surprise. "Their moving parts always snag our fingers…but they did not for you. So…that is why I say you're the best thing here."

"Well…uhh…that is actually a nice reason. I didn't realize…my teacher did say I was very talented when I studied robotics…I just thought I wasn't very special." Saphira had assumed most people were told that if they showed talent, so it didn't affect her that much.

"Of course you. You are very special. And I am so glad Darren hired you."

She definitely felt a surge of happiness, knowing that she was actually seen as special was probably the first time. The animatronics might have already, but hearing it from a human, well…it meant a lot more. She focused on finishing the diagnostics and sighed happily once it was done.

"How do you feel now Freddy?" She asked, looking at him as he sat up and looked at her with a small smile. She noticed though, he was gazing at her differently. Love maybe? Or, he was simply getting across with what Cliff just said? "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"We knew it from the moment we met you that you are special Saphira." Freddy moves his hand to point at her chest, gently poking her as he spoke. "Don't you ever forget that super star. Even when you decide to move on from the pizzaplex."

"He is right." Cliff chuckled softly and turned to walk away from the two. "Okay, we are done for the night." He glanced at his Fazwatch. "Oh, would you look at the time? Two thirty! That took so long…but that's balloon shit for you."

Saphira giggled and walked out of the cylinder to finish the maintenance log. She still had a smile on her face, and when Freddy walked out and she finished the log, she turned and hugged him, grateful for his words again.

"Thanks Freddy."

"Where's my hug?" She looked at Cliff in surprise as he extended his arms out. "I said it first!"

She chuckled at him. "Sorry…hugs are reserved for animatronics. I…I…generally don't like hugs."

"Oh, really?" Cliff lowered his arms, shrugging and turned to Marian and Mason. "Alright, let's get our snacks and head off. We had a good night tonight. Oh yeah!" He looked back at Saphira with a smile. "Construction on the karaoke bar and lounge is starting today. It will look different on your next shift."

Saphira kept reminding herself that it was early in the morning whenever it was referred to as today. She often found herself a bit lost on days right now, but she didn't mind. She enjoyed coming here now, especially since her sleep pattern was getting used to it.

"I will make sure no one tries to take a private tour through it." She smiled at him. "Thanks for letting me help Cliff. I will see you again on my next shift."

He waves as he and the two technicians turn away. Saphira sighed and looked at Freddy with a smile, only for her expression to change when she saw Freddy's face. He had a worried expression on it and she opened her mouth to speak when he grabbed her hands gently, turning them over to see the red palms.

"Be honest Saphira…" Freddy looked back at her with his kind, blue eyes. "Did nothing really happen? You did not seem yourself when you got here."

"Yeah, I thought the exact same thing Saphira." She glanced at Bonnie for a moment and looked down. "Ah ha, something did happen."

She shrugged a little. "Yeah…sort of…something was in the utility tunnels…but I could not see them. But I heard them…they were singing a nursery rhyme…"

"What exactly is that?" Freddy asked curiously, tilting his head.

She was surprised he didn't know what that was. "Uhh…nevermind that. But the song in particular has a dark history. It revolves around a disease that causes death…and the song basically is that. And he was singing that…he sounded like a damn clown…"

"A clown? Errr…what is it with clowns…?" She heard Bonnie shuddering a little, he was disturbed by these clowns. "However, why did humans come up with a song about a disease anyway? That sounds rather strange to me. And it is sung by children right?" She nodded. "That's even worse…"

"And we don't even know the true meaning of the lyrics until we're adults. But…that is why I tripped…I wasn't going to stay down there. I ran for my life."

"I see…but there is more isn't there?" Freddy glanced down at her leg for a moment, he had the urge to lift her jeans to see what damage was under there, but he refrained from doing that. "Something happened in the main area right?"

Saphira shuddered and nodded. "Yea…there was…a clown…he was up in the top part of the lobby…I honestly thought the elevator did not work…but I saw him. He was on the balcony, looking down with blood stains on the suit." She shakes her head with a grimace. "I definitely ran from there. But…I'll be honest…I will fight a clown."

"If you had no choice, I believe that you definitely would." Freddy pulled her in for another hug. "And I am surprised that you dislike hugs from humans. Is that another long story?"

She nodded. "Hmmm…this is the part I must leave right?" Bonnie asked curiously, making both of them look at him. "I assume you have told Freddy things we don't know." She nods again. "Then I feel I should leave."

"Bonnie…I will tell you eventually…but…the last human to hug me was my…" Saphira paused as she thought about her past. "Nevermind…he's someone who raised me…when he hugged me, it was to stop me from running away."

"Running away? Why?" Freddy frowned slightly for a moment. "Would it be when you left your parents?"

She shakes her head. "No, long before that. No…I…used to be…well…you know the belts people wearing on their waists?" They both nod as they have seen the belts. "They hurt when in the wrong hands. And cause good cuts in the skin. I still have scars from it."

It took both Freddy and Bonnie to realize the gravity of what Saphira had just said. They both look at each other upon realizing that someone had hit her with belts before, and it was not pretty. No wonder Saphira hated hugs! She must fear something like that happening to her again.

"That will never happen here, I promise you super star." Freddy tightened his hug around her gently as if he was protecting her. "If you don't want to hug me, there is that plush in your room of course." She chuckled softly as he mentioned that. "But I do think you should get some food. I can hear your stomach."

How embarrassing…

Saphira did not even realize she was hungry until he mentioned it. She felt her stomach growling angrily and she backed away from Freddy, giggling a little from embarrassment. Bonnie intended on staying with Saphira and Freddy for the rest of the night, but they both needed to recharge first. Thankfully there was a station outside Parts and Service, so Saphira waited for them to take their turns before they head up to the atrium so Saphira could get her food and face the rest of her shift.
