Saphira sat in her office devouring a thick steak she was able to get from Gator Ribs, it was very juicy, tender and full of flavor. Saphira was enjoying every bite of it. She had decided on something from the restaurant after leaving Parts and Service with Bonnie and Freddy, and they went with her to the restaurant to get the steak. She also had a red velvet cupcake and a cup of soda to enjoy as well, but she was enjoying the steak the most. Freddy and Bonnie definitely did not understand, but Freddy himself was overjoyed to see her enjoy it. Especially given he knew some of her past, so he knew that this food was good for her to eat.

"Oh my…if anyone asks me where to find the best steak in town…" She smacked her lips, looking at the half-eaten fillet on her plate. "I am going to tell them Freddy's has the best steak."

Freddy and Bonnie chuckle at Saphira as she was very enthusiastic about the steak. "I am glad you enjoy it very much. You can have steak every night if you want to." Freddy's suggestion sounded like a good idea, but Saphira did not want to get sick of steak every night, so she would refrain from doing that.

"Mmm, maybe once a week. That will be plenty of time to enjoy it." She chuckled softly as she sat at her desk, clicking through the cameras. "Well…at least I don't see anything…unusual just yet."

Freddy glanced at the monitors, he himself was as concerned as Saphira about who or what was in the pizzaplex. It seemed everything had died down for now. He hoped it remained that way. "I suppose with Bonnie and I with you, the person probably don't want to do anything."

"Maybe…but…they might not be afraid of you either Freddy. You don't share the same temper as Monty…" She glanced at him from looking at the monitors. "In a way, that is a good thing. But they might see it as a weakness."

"That might be true…but we are programmed to detect intruders and danger, so it is unlikely we will hesitate doing anything to the person. Especially if we cannot see their face." Interesting. The bots had not yet seen this person, so they have not yet detected an actual threat. What Bonnie said made sense, so the person was indeed avoiding them for the moment. "Do not worry about our ability to protect you Saphira if we need to. You already know we can hurt humans. We have never done so intentionally, but…somehow I think that might change."

Saphira believed that too. While did not want to see someone being beaten into a pulp by the animatronics, she would rather that she be alive anyway. And she knew the animatronics would protect her. She didn't know if Monty would, but if what Bonnie said was true, he wouldn't hesitate. Especially as he was unhappy that someone made it seem like he scared her with the doll the previous shift.

"Who knows, my self defense might just be all we need anyway. Hopefully." Saphira had been practicing it a lot more at home too. She could not do it here at the pizzaplex, but that did not mean she didn't want to practice at home. "But I hope it won't be necessary and the police can deal with them."

"Indeed." Freddy glanced at the monitors briefly before gazing at Saphira. "Even if you are confident in your abilities Saphira, I do believe that tomorrow, do not go into the utility tunnels alone. I fear what you experience will be worse."

Saphira nodded. "I don't plan on going alone…which means we have to play it smart to not get spotted. You know Darren and Cliff will be on my back if you guys come with me again."

"I know. It makes me so worried now for you."

She took another bite of her steak and turned to smile at Freddy. "You worrying too much is not good Freddy. I know you cannot help it, but I will be okay."

"That is what you said before you went into the tunnels," Bonnie said softly, tilting his head with a smirk. "And look what happened. You can speak, but you can't promise Saphira. Even you should know that."

He was right. She looked away from them to finish her steak. For not being human, they definitely were good at being wise. At least, that is what she felt from them. It was nice. Their concern was just and she knew because things had gotten more dangerous in the pizzaplex. She took one last bite and moved the plate away, enjoying the food and relaxing in her chair, watching the monitors quietly for a few minutes. She sipped her coke, humming softly to herself until the lights suddenly go out. She straightened in her chair, and the warning from Sun to lot let Moon near came straight to her head.

"Oh no! Moondrop is out!" Bonnie groaned, turning to stand near the door and listened. "I hear him coming."

Saphira sat silently in the chair, she could hear the squeaky sound of the animatronic and his cold laughter, he said nothing, but she knew he was coming to her. She did not move in her chair, not once, waiting for the lights to come back on. And while they did, she gasped hearing a shrill, loud laughter echoing through the atrium. Saphira shuddered with a whimper, she definitely did not like this at all. She did notice Moon walking away from the room, that was strange, she thought he would try to get into the room. She did not feel any less relieved however.

"Where is he going?" Freddy asked, he too was confused as to why Moon was walking away. "He always hangs around."

Unless his tactics had been changed. Saphira felt that might be the case, Sun telling her what he did probably could have caused that. They all remain quiet and silent for a few more minutes, Saphira turned her head slightly when she heard Moon's squeaky limbs again. And it was coming from the vent above her. She glanced up at it with wide eyes. She did not know if he was actually in the vent, but that thought scared her. It would be big enough for him to get through. And she soon saw red lights shining through the vent, Freddy and Bonnie were quick to see it too. Saphira stood up from her chair and moved behind Freddy, Bonnie moved closer so he was also a shield between Moon and Saphira.

"He, he, he…sweet little girl…you have been a very bad girl!" Moon's cold voice echoed through the vent. "You know something you're not supposed to! You must be punished! Nighty night, little girl!"

She was surprised he was using a different phrase, and it was extremely unsettling. She wanted to get out of the office, but she feared whatever made that laugh was out in the atrium waiting for her. She glanced at the bottom of the vent, it had screws in it. And the other end of the knife could fit in it.

"Freddy! Can you lift me up to the vent?" Saphira asked urgently, getting a surprised expression from both him and Bonnie. "I can lock the vent, but I cannot reach. Can you help me?"

Freddy looked back at the vent, the light from his eyes shine upon the screws and he nods. "Very well…but be careful. I will take you away from the vent should he get too close."

She nodded, taking the knife into her hand, ignoring the oil and fat on the blade and stepped closer to Freddy so he could lift her. He gently grabbed her by the waist and lifts her, supporting her with his hands and approached the vent. She grimaced seeing the light reflecting off the walls, he was not there yet thankfully. She pushed the end of the knife into one screw and twisted it to figure out which direction it was to lock it. It didn't take long, and she began to screw it tight. She breathed a sigh and moved to the next one. But as she began to screw it, Moon crawled around the corner with his legs over his head.

"Oh! He, he, he! You've made it easy for me!" Moon chuckled in a cold, dark, sarcastic voice. "Allow me to take care of you! Nighty night!" He ran towards the vent and Saphira hurried to lock the vent just as Moon ran into it. She screamed at the loud bang of the vent, she threw her arms around Freddy's shoulders even though he had her supported, she had simply been startled. "Huh? What…what is this?!" He managed to slip his fingers through the vent bars and rattled them. "NO! NOOO!" He growled and looked at Saphira, his head began to spin slowly and point an accusing finger towards Saphira. "You! You think you are so smart! Grrr…" He slams his hands on the vent, the screws thankfully hold it in. "Your luck will run out Saphira!"

He growled and turned away from the vent, crawling back through it to leave. This was the first time to see Moon legitimately angry, and it was scary. Saphira stared at the vent and it took a moment to realize that Freddy was still holding her. She was a lot smaller compared to him, and how held her was almost similar to a child. However, when their eyes meet, she felt herself blushing as she realized how close her face was to his.

"Are you okay?" Freddy asked her gently with concern.

"Yes…" She responds with a whisper, his ears twitch slightly as he caught something different about her voice. "It worked at least…he couldn't get in…"

"It did indeed. He almost had use fooled…almost." Freddy did not intend on letting Saphira go, holding her like this for the first time, and realizing how small and delicate she was, he liked it. He liked it a lot.

"And yet, the lights are not on." Bonnie was tempted to peer out of the door to see if anything was there. "Should we impliment the lock on the door?"

"I don't think that is needed while we are here Bonnie." Freddy turned around, Saphira was still gazing at him for a moment before looking away and thinking about wanting to get down. "We can protect her."

"Yeah…Monty's just messaged me about it. He's asking if we need help. I don't think so." His ears twitch as the echoing laughter through the atrium happened again. And it sounded louder. He shuddered and frowned. "Hmmph! I want to destroy this clown! It is so bothersome."

Saphira nodded in agreement and looked up at Freddy. "Do you mind putting me down now? I can walk perfectly fine with my two good legs."

Freddy nodded and carefully lowered her to the ground, she winced as she put weight on her injured leg, but she placed the knife down and looked at the monitors, all of them had really bad static on them. They were blind! Saphira did not sit down, she was too scared to relax and she was trembling. She straightened up more when she heard the sound of a clown horn, it was squeezed very slowly, and it sounded like it was coming closer. And that laughter got even louder.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" That horrible voice said in a songful voice that sent shivers down her spine. "I know you're in that little room of yours! Why don't you come out and play?"

Saphira said nothing, her breathing was loud and she stepped closer to Freddy, afraid of what was coming. However, she heard Monty's roar filling the atrium. The lights suddenly come back on and Saphira covered her eyes as the bright lights blinded her for a second. She took deep breaths, leaning her weight against Freddy and trying to relax as much as possible.

"Did Monty scare him?" Saphira asked nervously, Bonnie shrugs and walked to the door to open it. She thought it was a funny that whoever this was, was afraid of Monty. "I hope so…"

"Monty!" Bonnie yelled out into the atrium. "Did you see anyone out here?"

"No." His response was full of irritation as he stomped towards the office. "I kept hearing that stupid laugh! And that voice! I saw nobody when I came here. They're whimps just like that punk in there! Where is she?"

Bonnie glanced at Saphira for a moment and back at Monty. "She is safe."

"Oh, I am delighted to hear that!" He said sarcastically, Saphira remained by Freddy as she saw the gator's shadow and he stomped into the room, looking at Saphira with a frown. "Well punk…guess you are a magnet right now."

"I…I…" Saphira felt tears fill her eyes. "I guess I've always been one…from birth…"

Monty blinked in surprise and huffed. "Fool, you are a magnet for…"

"Trouble…I know…" She glanced down and away from him, letting the tears fall from her eyes. "I…e-e-e-everyone keeps telling me that! Y-Y-You d-d-don't need to remind me!" She sniffled and she felt Freddy's arm around her, hugging her gently. "E-E-Even when I ran f-f-from that dreadful house!"

"Daahh, eerrr…ummm…" Monty rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly feeling awkward at Saphira's words. "I meant…a magnet for clowns…or something like that…" She didn't seem to care on what he meant, it still made her feel like she was a magnet for trouble wherever she went. "Aaannnd…this has nothing to do with your past…"

She frowned at him and looked away from him. "B-B-But I-I seem t-t-to find trouble…e-e-everywhere…"

"I hardly think that is your fault…" Monty said slowly, he clenched his jaws slightly. He glanced at Freddy, the bot was glaring at him silently while keeping his arms around Saphira. "Does this mean I can't say the rest of what I wanted to say? The punk is crying because she thinks I think she's a trouble magnet."

"You did kind of imply it, even if it is just for clowns," Freddy responded in a near blunt tone. "What else did you want to say?"

"I honestly am not going to be sitting in my room anymore! No way!" He shakes his head and puts his fists on his hips, looking down at Saphira. "Now punk, I still don't really like you. I am going to be honest." She grimaced and looked down. "But…we both agreed to start again. Did we not?" She didn't respond as she did not know where he really stood with her. "Eh…well, whatever…I don't care if we are not friends anyway. However, Bon Bon cares enough about you to make me want to care about helping."

Bonnie blinked and frowned at him. "Oh really? I thought you want to help because you want to be her friend too Monty. Why can't you be her friend?"

"Until I see enough to know I can trust her!" He snapped fiercely at Bonnie, making Saphira flinch in fear. "You know I don't trust night guards. Of course, this little issue needs to dealt with…I am not going to have anyone drop in as a clown. That stupid laugh made me angry."

"You almost missed Moondrop's attempt too." Monty lifts his glasses in surprise when Freddy told him about Moon. "He nearly crawled through the vent to get to Saphira. I've…this is the first time I have seen him angry."

"He was angry? I always thought he was angry…that does sound a bit creepy. But it takes more than a stupid clown to scare me." He looked down at Saphira and leans forward slightly, she tensed a little when he did that. "I did not mean to upset you and think about what happened in the past Saphira. You should really listen to the full sentence before making an assumption and getting upset."

She smiled slightly because he was right. "I will remember that for next time Monty."

"Good." He glanced at the desk for a moment. "You should have that cupcake. It will make you feel better…at least, that is what humans like to say about cakes and other sweet stuff."

Saphira said nothing and Monty put his glasses down and turned to leave the room. She finally felt like complete jelly and almost fell down, Freddy was quick to catch her and he picked her up again, holding her against him as she took in deep breaths. She looked up at him and rested her cheek against Freddy.

"Relax Saphira, I have you. Monty and Bonnie will guard outside now, we will not let anyone hurt you now." Freddy's voice reassured her, but she found herself wishing for more. All of this happening right now, she was in serious danger. And with Freddy, she felt safe. "I can hold you like this for the rest of the night if you wish."

"That sounds nice…" Saphira said softly, not looking up at him as she rests in his arms against his chest. "Better than I was before…thank you…" She slowly turned her gaze up at Freddy. "I do not know what Moon would have done if we did not lock the vent."

"I know. I know Moon has been a loose canon for some time. If I knew how his system could be fixed, I would tell you." Saphira considered asking Cliff for access to it. Maybe she could clear this virus from him, it would be better for everyone. "I am sorry you are going through this. This must be as bad as your past."

She looked at him in surprise when he said that. "Definitely not. It was worse when I was with my parents Freddy. This is…well…so much like a horror movie…but…" She shakes her head with a slight grin. "I am not sure if I want to change it. Not right now."

"Why would you say that? You could be end up seriously broken over it. Or…end up on the list…" Freddy did not understand what Saphira was saying. It sounded ludicrous to him.

She knew what she was trying to say. She wanted to tell him so much about her feelings. She wondered if she should now, especially with how things were escalating. To hell with the consequences right? But she was still too afraid to admit them in words. She looked away from him and looked at the monitors, they were crystal clear again.

"Saphira?"

She glanced down for moment and looked back at Freddy. "Don't listen to me too much Freddy…I…I…" She grimaced and gritted her teeth, glancing back down again. "I am sorry…"

He was very confused, but he did not press for further information. However, he kept holding her in his arms. He liked it, and he could tell Saphira liked it very much too. It brought her comfort and protect, and he knew that. He looked at her face, tilting his head slightly and longing to be able to kiss her. He was sad they may never kiss. But being here for her, well, that was the most important thing right now and he knew it.

Saphira glanced at the desk and gestures towards it. "I might sit down now. I don't want to get any crumbs or soda on you and then have to deal with it later for another round of maintenance."

He smiled and walked over to the chair, lowering her down gently onto it and pushing her in. "Understandable…even though, I would never say no to another round." He chuckled gently as Saphira picked up the soda cup to drink. "But I am sure I would annoy Cliff if I had some issue because of you."

"Yeah he would, but you would probably never tell him it was me." She sipped the coke and glanced at the cameras, deciding whether or not she should do her security round, as she realized the time was fifty fifteen, which meant she did not have much time left. "Hmm…not much time already. If I didn't have to deal with security stuff, we could do a lot more together."

Freddy nodded in agreement. "I agree…I too wish we had more time together. But we have the time we have, and it is still good."

She nodded in agreement and picked up the cupcake to finally eat, she smiled tasting the sweetness on her tongue and enjoyed the light, fluffy cake on her palate. Monty was right at least, sweet food made situations better a lot of the time. She had just the one cake, but it was enough to make her feel better. She enjoyed it for as long as she could, she did start to click through the monitors casually, she won't find anyone anyway. Still, it was part of her job. Even though reporting this might just be the string that gets her cut from being a security cut here, or end up as part of the disappearances.

"Hey Freddy…" She turned her head to look at him. "Would you mind escorting me to the lobby when I leave? I…I don't feel safe leaving alone now."

He smiled and nodded at her. "Of course super star, I will keep you safe. I had wondered if we should go together or not. Sadly, I cannot leave the pizzaplex because my systems would shut down. Even a great technician like you understands that I have no choice."

She nodded, it was realistically sad. The animatronics were trapped here, their lives were here and it was all they really know. They would have no idea how big this world was and the many people who live on it. But if she could, Saphira would find a way to ensure they could leave without shutting down. But they would need their endo system changed for that to happen.

"Yeah…" She finished the cake and sipped more of her drink. "I still think I should bring some movies or something for you all to see. Especially documentaries, so you can see what the rest of the world is like. I think documentaries would be better, especially the ones about the different animals." Saphira immediately was thinking David Attenborough, she was sure they would be intrigued with his documentaries.

"That sounds very exciting, and noble of you to think of us that way. However, you were already told not to worry about it. I don't wish for you to get into bigger trouble for it." She shrugged, not worried about it. "Yet, you don't seem worried."

"Because I can easily bring a laptop and put a movie on it for you to watch or something anyway. I don't have to use the TVs here. Simple as that." She smirked at him as she knew there was ways around it. "But…maybe after this has been dealt with. Otherwise this virus could get into my computer as well."

Freddy nodded, he did not hear the full conversation between Cliff and Saphira about that, but it did intrigue him. Saphira finished checking the cameras and she stood up to use the bathroom before she would leave. Freddy did not follow her so he could give her the privacy she needs. He did not fully understand human needs for the bathroom, but he only knew that it was necessary. When she was done, Saphira began to gather her things and even grabbed the smaller, Freddy plush and tucking it under her armpit. Freddy was thrilled with that, and wanted her to take the big one too, but she told him to leave it as she wanted to keep it in her office. At this time, Monty and Bonnie return to their rooms as nothing else seemed to happen, although Saphira worried something would as soon as they left. Thankfully, nothing did happen and Saphira was able to finish the night and visit Rockstar Row to farewell the rest of the animatronics before Freddy walked with her to the lobby.

Once at the doors, Saphira looked out at the sunrise and smiled a little. Freddy looked at it too, he has not seen many sunrises, but they were beautiful to him. "Thank you Freddy, I really appreciated it tonight." She turned towards him with a smile. "I am sorry that I…I had a bit of a meltdown at Monty."

He shrugs at her with a smirk. "Don't worry about it. I think Monty just didn't get all his words out at once and made you completely upset. So I would not be too concerned Saphira."

She nodded and stepped closer to him. "Yeah, I hope he won't feel too bad for it. I didn't mean it. I just…have moments. Unfortunately it happens when you…had a horrible experience. I know Monty is the same most of the time."

Freddy nods and leaned down slightly, placing a hand on Saphira's shoulder gently. "Indeed he is. I think you and Monty are similar in many ways, I think he is starting to realize it. Especially after what he saw from you tonight. But I have to say, you were very brave super star. You did a great job."

She smiled at him, feeling her cheeks heat up with a gentle blush. "Thank you. I could not have done it without you Freddy." She got up onto her tippy toes and leaned in slightly, Freddy widened his eyes in shock as he felt those gently lips on his cheek. She relaxed back down on her feet, smiling at him and saw Freddy blink in disbelief at being kissed on his cheek. "I will see you a bit later…"

She turned and walked out of the pizzaplex, leaving Freddy stunned and feeling extremely lucky and warm. He looked out the glass doors, watching her walk across the parking lot towards a white car. He placed a hand on his cheek and turned to walk out of the lobby as he knew the other staff were arriving and he needed to get back to his room.

Saphira returned home, that bad feeling was still lingering in her gut even after leaving the pizzaplex. She did not like it, but she was able to get to sleep despite the horrors that had happened in the night. She expected it to be the same when she returned, if not worse. And she definitely would find out, it just got worse. Especially when she returned to the pizzaplex at eight thirty to find police cars out the front of the pizzaplex. She was confused, thinking that maybe that clown was caught.

However, as she approached, she saw Darren wearing a dark grey, striped suit and he was currently speaking with an officer. He spotted Saphira and walked towards her. "What is going on here Darren?"

"I have some bad news." Saphira stopped, feeling her heart drop at that moment, her mind immediately went to Freddy. "We do not have all the details. But…Cliffton is gone…"

Cliffton is gone…
