Saphira applauded the animatronics as they finish their rehearsal, everything had gone smoothly and she was able to tick this rehearsal as a pass so she won't have to do anything to ensure they were in working condition for the big show the next day. She did not clap for very long due to the ache in her wrists, but she was still very happy with the result and she ended up dancing a little to the end of the song.

"Well done, everybody!" Saphira said happily with a big smile on her face. "I guess now you can put your instruments away and we will meet outside Freddy's Karaoke Bar and Lounge. You all did a good job, nothing seem wrong at all."

"Of course, I am the best so nothing is ever wrong with my performance," Roxy said, batting her eyelids slightly as she smirked and brushed a hand through her hair. Saphira chuckled at Roxy, she knew she would hear her say something like that. "I look forward to see this new venue. It looks great from the outside."

"It sure does. We will meet you there Saphira." Bonnie pats her shoulder gently as he walked by her. "I wonder who will be announcing the opening of the karaoke bar tomorrow anyway?"

Saphira shrugged as she was not sure. "Freddy maybe, but I am not sure. I guess we won't know until tomorrow." She looked at Freddy, he had placed his microphone into his stomach hatch and approached her with a smile. "At least you don't need to go back to your room to drop that off."

"No, definitely not. But you are probably right that I will be announcing the opening of the karaoke bar, it would seem fitting given it is named after me. Unless Darren will be doing that, I don't know." He shrugged slightly before he extended his hand to her to walk with her out of the room. "Shall we go there together?"

She smiled and takes his hand gladly, rubbing his arm with her other hand gently and feeling the casing against her skin as she stroked his arm. "Of course, I would not have it any other way." She giggled at him as they walk together out of the rehearsal room into the atrium. "At least tonight hasn't been too terrible…"

"No, it has not. What should we do after we finish testing the venue?" Saphira honestly had not thought about that. Usually she would spend time with Freddy, right now her mind was on other things. "Shall we spend time together in my room? I promise not to push you into doing something you are uncomfortable with."

She hummed a little as she thought about it, Freddy was surprised she didn't answer him straight away and he was saddened as he thought maybe she didn't want to spend time with him anymore. "I have enough space in the office Freddy, you and I could go there afterwards. Plus, I need to show the other animatronics the new space as well."

His face lights up again when she mentions they could spend time together in the new office. "I would like that very much. And yes, we definitely should let them see the new office. I know Mr Hippo wants to see it."

Saphira wondered if Mr Hippo knew the significence behind the office. His interest wanting to see it would make sense. "I imagine it is in case I get into trouble. He's really taken on the fatherly role seriously ever since I…you know."

"There is no shame in calling him dad in front of me Saphira. You know I think it is a great honour for him to fill those shoes that you most likely needed for such a long time." She nodded slowly as she listened to him while they walked across the atrium together. "I know you are getting used to having him around like that. But I have no doubt that it actually has been really good compared to before." Freddy referencing her past made her nod more, he was not wrong at all.

She glanced up at the neon sign of the karaoke bar and smiled. "Hmm, too bad I couldn't get to see the designs for this place before it was built. But I like surprises." He glanced at her with a smile when she said that. "Yes, I will like your surprise too. I still haven't worked out what it could possibly be."

"You will find out soon. It just won't happen this week." She raised a curious eyebrow when he said that he wouldn't show her the gift this week. "What I had in the room was just part of what is coming…if that makes sense."

Oooh, he has a big surprise for me huh? I am definitely looking forward to it!

"I will wait patiently…uhh, let me rephrase that, I will be waiting impatiently for it." She smirked at him as he rolled his eyes at her light joke and hugged her tightly, making her giggle loudly at the reaction. "Alright, alright, I will be patient! I promise."

"What's this about being patient?" Mr Hippo's voice startled both Saphira and Freddy as the hippo walked out of Glam Corner with a smile. "Did I interrupt something? I sincerely apologise."

"Oh it is okay, I just caught Freddy hiding part of a big gift from me earlier and I was just teasing him," Saphira said with a smirk as Mr Hippo glanced at Freddy curiously. "So I was just making a promise that I will be patient enough to enjoy the gift."

Mr Hippo smiled, rubbing his chin thoughtfully and Freddy spoke to him privately through their communication line. "How very fascinating. I will make sure that you do remain patient, Freddy's hardwork to surprise you should not be shattered because of impatience. I think it will be very special."

Saphira wondered if Mr Hippo knew what it was, though she knew he would not tell her. He probably would actually scold her for trying to pry for information. "Now I am even more excited if it really is that special." She threw her arms around Freddy and kissed him, surprising the animatronic by her sudden reaction. "I look forward to it Freddy. I will love it no matter what it is."

Freddy smiled and kissed her back gently, he moved his head down slightly to nuzzle his nose against the tip of hers gently, making her giggle at the affectionate touch. "I am very excited to share it with you. Even I have to be patient before showing it to you. Try not to think on it too much though Saphira."

That will be hard not to think about it. She didn't know what was being planned by Freddy, she just hoped nothing would ruin it when it does happen. After all, if it was meant to be a special moment for them, the virus had better stay out of it. She already could not forgive the virus for what has happened already so far.

"Alright, enough smooching!" Roxy suddenly grabbed Freddy's ear and pulled him away from Saphira. He was shocked by the sudden grab he dropped Saphira and she nearly stumbled backwards into Mr Hippo. "We have a karaoke night to have fun with."

Saphira frowned slightly at Roxy, but she did not comment on her action with Freddy. "Yes, we most definitely do." She turned her head as she heard the other animatronics approaching. "Finally, I guess we are all ready for some singing? And remember, karaoke isn't meant to be professional, it is just fun."

"Oh, don't ye worry lass, we know it is a lot of fun. I hope ye have lots of fun too." Foxy smiled at her with a playful salute. "Now, let us see what this new ship looks like hmm."

Saphira nodded as they approach the entrance, which was currently covered by two, dark, plastic sheets that she pushed open and widened her eyes as they enter the new space. The bar area was quite large, the floor was a dark purple with orange, happy Freddy faces in the carpet. The booths around them were orange, nearly the same colour as Freddy's casings, with white tables and fake plants with yellow flowers on the columns of the room. There bar itself was black with bright, blue neon lights shaped into a lightning bolts all along the counter with the shelves behind the counter had dimmer, blue neon lights with many alcoholic beverages on display. There were staff bots here that had orange pigtails, red cheeks and appeared to be dressed in a red costume, similar to how the staff bots at Bonnie Bowling. Something about that design just never sat well with Saphira. The stools at the counter had orange cushions like the booths and there were several postures with Freddy and the gang painted in poses with microphones in hands while smiling and dancing to promote the karaoke.

"Nice, this looks really nice," Saphira said with a smile, glancing around and taking a peak at the menu. "Looks like they will be serving sliders, mini burgers, wraps and buffalo wings here, not bad for somewhere that's a bar. They sound delicious."

"I hope they do, we have never had anyone complain about food here so far," Bonnie comments, making Saphira giggle even though she couldn't disagree. The food has been excellent to her. "Alright, now the karaoke lounge."

They walk towards a large dome doorway that leads into a circuler room with fifteen private booths with karaoke stages and screens. The area they were in was another lounge area before the private booths, the carpet was a dark, teal colour with a bright blue Freddy rug underneath the coffee table with orange-coloured chairs. There were red neon lights around the rim of the room instead of blue, and each booth was the same. Red, comfy chairs with drink and food holders, a mini stage with a micophone and screen for the lyrics, and they also had dance lights above the stage for a dance party in the rooms.

"This is really nice…I guess we just pick one." Saphira was uncertain about which to pick, so she walked to the closest one on the left, she noticed each were numbered with golden lights too, at least that was nice and convenient. "I love the smell of clean, fresh furniture."

"That's what we can smell?" Roxy asked in surprise and sniffed around curiously with a smile. "Hmm, it definitely smells fresh and new. That won't take long for that to go away. I guess we better enjoy it while we can."

Saphira nodded thoughtfully, walking up to the stage where the touch screen was and she pressed it curiously. "Hmm…so many options." She glanced up at the animatronics as they take a seat on the couches and watch her quietly. "I'm just setting this up so we can start."

"And since you're up there, you can go before us," Bonnie said cheerfully as he placed his arm over Monty's shoulders. "Otherwise, it's a hassle to try and figure out who should go first."

Fair enough. Saphira was impressed by the settings available. She pressed the button for the disco ball, the colour hot pink and for it to turn slowly. The room dims with a spotlight from above lighting the stage. She smiled and grabbed the microphone, she hears the sound of thudding through the speakers which meant it was likely on. But she tested it anyway.

"Hello." She smiled as she heard her voice through the speakers loud and clear, thankfully it was not squealing loudly and hurting everyone's ears. "Alright, I guess I better pick a song to sing. Just sit back and relax."

The animatronics chuckle lightly as they watch Saphira. She types in the name of the song she wanted to sing, she smiled when it comes up and she pressed it. She didn't need the lyrics, but it was an automatic thing, so Saphira did not bother try to figure out how to remove them. As the music came on though, the animatronics listen to the gentle music as it began to play and Freddy himself was smiling, he gave her a thumbs up when she glanced at him and she felt her cheeks blushing before she began to sing.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile,

I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah

You've built a love, but that love falls apart

Your little piece of Heaven turns too dark.

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why

But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

Saphira closed her eyes as she listened to the music of the song, and in the moment, she began to move her feet and body. She had learned how to waltz by watching many, many tutorial videos, and these kinds of songs just bring out her want to waltz, even if she was just copying the moves without a partner. All eyes were on her as she danced and sang, Freddy himself was intrigued by the dance as much as her singing.

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile.

The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah

They're swept away and nothing is what is seems,

The feeling of belonging to your dreams.

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why

But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye!

Saphira lowered the microphone and opened her eyes slightly, spinning around as she continued to mimic the waltz dance, she wondered if she could teach Freddy how to waltz. There was another song she would love to dance with him to, but she didn't know if he could. It wasn't programmed in him like the Freddie Mercury dance moves. But, she would definitely try, she could see him watching with great interest and love from where he was seated so it was a possibility. She smiled and felt her blush deepening, knowing she was moving Freddy and continue to sing the final part of the song.

And there are voices that want to be heard!

So much to mention but you can't find the words,

The scent of magic, the beauty that's been,

When love was wilder than the wind!

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why,

But listen to your heart before, ohhhh!

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you,

Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do,

I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why,

But listen to your heart before,

You tell him goodbye…

Saphira smiled and pressed a button on the screen to allow the original singer through to finish the rest of the song as it was a bit longer than the main lyrics. She looked up and smiled, Freddy had his hands clasped together and she felt tears in her eyes. She placed the microphone on the stand and ran over the stage over to him, throwing herself at him and hugging him.

Freddy was stunned, but he saw tears rolling down her cheeks and he smiled at her. "That was so beautiful Saphira. You have a gift, one that you do not seem to notice. At least, one that you don't seem to feel appreciated for."

Saphira sniffled a little and looked up at him. "Thank you Freddy. I am not the best singer in the world, but I am glad I was able to move you with the song I've chosen."

"Indeed. A beautiful song, one you picked as one of those romance songs you were talking about I presume." He chuckled as he leans forward and kisses her.

Saphira returned the kiss, moving to sit on his lap to relax. She heard Roxy huffing and glanced over to see her rolling her eyes and standing to walk to the stage. "Is there not a time that you don't smooch?" Roxy smirked at them playfully, she was just teasing them it seemed. "Now, let's see what song suits me."

Saphira chuckled softly and shifted so she could lay her side against Freddy's chest while waiting for Roxy to pick a song for her to sing. "You know, when I listened to that song…or sang it…I used to fantasize about someone different being my soulmate." The animatronic looked down at her curiously, Mr Hippo who sat on his right looked at her curiously while Bonnie and Monty on the left also turned their heads to listen to her. "I didn't know if I could ever love another person, so…loving something else sounded easier. I imagined being in love with an elf, an alien, a transformer, a dwarf, a vampire, a demi-god and a Jedi…all of those different beings were beings I could love because they were different."

Freddy was smiling as he listened to her and kissed her forehead gently. "That must be why it is easy for you to love someone like me. I never thought it was possible honestly. Sure, people loved me because I am a star…but not for me. Not like you do."

Saphira looked up at him and kissed him, rubbing his cheek gently as she gazed into his beautiful, blue eyes. "I suppose it was fate we would be together. I doubt there is anything or anyone out there strong enough to stop that. No matter how hard they try."

"I certainly believe that. You also have to tell me what kind of dance…"

"Ahem!" Roxy coughed into the microphone, she had changed the lighting settings at this point. The disco was spinning faster with flashing rainbow lights, above the stage the lights were flashing rainbow and the yellow bulbs around the strange for flashing too, Roxy had picked something to dance to. "I think I found the song to sing to. I hope to get everyone on their feet dancing to it. After all, I am the best!"

Saphira and Freddy chuckle softly, they knew it didn't take long for Roxy to find a song to sing. However, when the beat began, Saphira widened her eyes in surprise because the song may as well suit Roxy in a way. Freddy noticed she seemed excited, so he was interested in hearing the lyrics as Roxy sings.

I've followed my heart into the fire,

Got burned, got broken down by desire,

I've tried, I've tried but the smoke in my eyes

Left me blurry, blurry and blind.

I've picked all the pieces up off the ground,

I've burned all my fingers, but that's gone now

Got the glue in my hands and stickin' to the plan

Stickin' to the plan that says.

I can do anything at all,

I can do anything at all.

This is my kiss goodbye,

You can stand alone and watch me fly.

'Cause nothing's keeping me down,

Gonna let it all up,

Come on and say right now, right now, right now.

This is my big hello!

'Cause I'm here and never letting go!

I can finally see, it's not just a dream,

When you set it all free, all free, all free

You set it all free!

Saphira got up to dance during the chorus as she very much loved the song, plus the movie this song was from spoke to a wide arrange of people. Including her, even if her own life wasn't really represented in the movie itself. But, the songs in the movie were just so great.

I was a girl caught under your thumb,

But my stars gonna shine brighter than your sun,

And I will reach so high, shoot so far,

Gonna hit, gonna hit, hit every target.

Make it count this time,

I will make it count this time.

This is my kiss goodbye,

You can stand alone and watch me fly.

'Cause nothing's keepin' me down,

I'm gonna let it all up,

Come on and say right now, right now, right now!

This is my big hello!

'Cause I'm here and never letting go!

I can finally see, it's not just a dream,

When you set it all free, all free, all free!

You set it all free!

You set it all free!

You set is all free!

Roxy looked surprised when the sound of an electric guitar came on, but she noticed Saphira imitating playing a guitar with a smile. She smirked as she watched and Chica joined in with her, both imagining they had guitars in their hands playing the tune before Roxy could get to sing again.

This is my kiss goodbye,

You can stand alone and watch me fly.

'Cause nothing's keeping me down,

I'm gonna let it all out,

Come on and say right now, right now, right now.

This is my big hello!

'Cause I'm here and never letting go!

I can finally see, it's not just a dream,

When you set it all free, all free, all free.

You set it all free!

You set it all free!

You set it all free!

Set it all free!

You set is all free!

Saphira applauded Roxy for her singing along with the other animatronics and Roxy smiled at them, seeming relieved that everyone liked her singing. She knew that the wolf had self esteem issues, but like Saphira, she could sing pretty darn well. And Saphira was definitely thrilled about the song choice.

"Great choice Roxy, that song is from one of my favorite movies," Saphira said as Roxy stepped off the stage. "And for some reason…I don't know, it suits you pretty well. If only buying rights to songs wasn't expensive."

Roxy huffed, smiling and brushing her hand through her hair. "Of course it suits me, I am the best after all."

Saphira chuckled softly. "Anyway, it seems this booth is working pretty well. We need to check the other booths, so I guess we can keep moving as group to each of them, unfortunately I need to be there for each booth so I can't split up from you."

"That is no problem, young lady," Mr Hippo said as he stood up from the couch with a smile. "We have the rest of the night to keep going ahead. How about I get you something to drink so your throat doesn't get dry and sore from all this singing?"

Saphira looked at him in surprise and nodded. "Thank you Mr Hippo, I actually would really like something to drink. I had not noticed that I was starting to get thirsty…to bad I can't get some buffalo wings yet, the kitchen isn't being used to tonight."

"You can get them from Gator Ribs," Monty suggests thoughtfully. "I think it does anyway…or if I am wrong, you can smack my jaw for that."

"Sorry, it doesn't, the menu doesn't include them," Saphira said with an apologetic expression. "I'll think about what food I want soon. Right now, I am just happy to keep on singing." She turned away from them and walked out of the booth to head into the second one. "I'll set this one up, whoever wants to go next…"

"Me, me, me!" Chica exclaimed, running up to the stage of the second booth and dancing on the spot excitedly. "Ooh, it already so much fun! Hurry it up Saphira so I can sing!"

She chuckled at the excited animatronic. "Take it easy, Chica. I won't be long to set this all up for you. Just relax, it isn't going to run away on you."

Chica simply nodded and stopped dancing on the spot, but she clasps her hands together excitedly, ready to sing a song on the karaoke machine. This animatronic's ability to be excited about anything was something Saphira wished she had. Nonetheless, she finished setting up the karaoke and stepped back to give her space, which wasn't much as she jumped onto the stage as soon as Saphira signalled it was ready.

Saphira took a seat next to Freddy and leaned against him, placing her arms around him and enjoying the warmth coming from his body as she watched Chica pick the next song. All the while, Saphira was left wondering what would happen now. She had a new office, she had additional responsibilities and she had to wait until her wrists were healed to do anything properly. As Chica picked Barbie Girl to sing, Saphira knew that the weeks to come was going to be either challenging with horrors chasing her, or calm…just as the virus threatened her with. A calm period before things go down again. And her birthday wasn't far away either, that was another thing to consider as she knew the animatronics will put something on for her for her birthday. She wondered if that is part of what Freddy was hiding, even though her birthday was not for another couple months yet. But, she would wait and see on that one.
