The animatronics stood in shock after Saphira and Freddy told the other animatronics what had happened earlier in the office, and the information Darren had told them. They were all standing in Parts and Service. Mr Hippo and Pigpatch had inspected the trail that had not yet been cleaned up before Saphira called some cleaning bots to deal with the mess. They all had no idea this was going on, they didn't even know what Darren had gone through and they were all in agreement that Saphira does not go visit Mr Miller in a week's time. That spoke danger to them.

"I think it will dangerous to refuse to go too," Saphira said as she relaxed on a chair, leaning against a table as she spoke to the animatronics. "Especially since he sounded strong…and he said one way or another…so I will end up seeing him in a week no matter what." She shuddered at the thought, it terrified her.

"Yet, the second basement is where those nightmare bots are," Monty said in a concerned tone. "And Darren said they had the souls of the people who had disappeared! That makes no sense to me…but whatever…if Mr Miller really has done that, it is not good news that he wants you down here."

"And why does he want you down there?" Bonnie asked with concern. "He wants you to be pregnant with a child that he can somehow take over with his own mind and soul. I imagine that could be why he wants you to see him."

"Maybe…but…I don't think so." Saphira knew that Mr Miller likely was not going to do that. She would be surprised if he did attempt to do that, but whatever happens…she still did not like. "Not how Darren explained it."

Freddy still did not know if it was possible. Now that he knew that humans were created through intimacy, he did worry it was possible he and Saphira could create a child…but the fact was he knew he wasn't fertile. He didn't know how it was possible it could be changed even with the injection. "I am still unsure if that is possible yet."

"Nonetheless, you should be careful with her for a while," Mr Hippo said calmly, he too worried about Saphira and the possibility of her becoming pregnant. She didn't need that on top of everything already. "I think we need to rethink several things at the moment as well. Pigpatch and I were blindsided thinking the virus was the root of everything, now we know who the real culprit is."

"I agree," Pigpatch said as he nodded. "This has definitely gotten into a more dangerous territory. And now we have another kid missing. I don't remember seeing her because I was at the party rooms."

"I saw her," Chica said softly. "She came to my Meet and Greet in Rockstar Row, and I think she met Foxy and Foxette too."

"Yes, she did," Foxy confirmed with a nod. "The lass had a big smile on her face. Nothin' seemed to be wrong at the time. She told me she was goin' on the Pirates Adventure attraction…so I guess that is where she went and then the arcade."

Saphira listened to the animatronics and sighed deeply. She felt she should investigate the back of the arcade herself. She would be able to see if there was anything unusual there. It wasn't that she she didn't want to trust Darren…but learning he was part machine frightened her. He might still be good, but it might take a bit for her to trust him again.

"Thankfully none of us need maintenance tonight," Happy Frog said softly. "We can do some proper investigating."

"We need to be careful, Happy Frog," Mr Hippo warned her sternly. "Vanessa is here right now, she is currently doing the usual security rounds and now we know that Mr Miller brought her here for a reason. I still think she could be innocent in this…" Saphira frowned slightly at that, she didn't know if that was true or not yet. "However, if Vanessa is like the eyes and ears for that man at the moment, we need to be careful. We can't just go investigating like we used to."

"Oh yeah…I forgot…" Happy Frog frowned and rubbed the back of her head. "But we can't just let that stop us from helping Saphira. She can't do this on her own."

"I know! I know…" Mr Hippo frowned and shakes his head, he knew that Saphira needed help. He looked at her sadly and gave her a sad smile. "We will figure out a way. I think we should just wait a little while until we can figure Vanessa out before we try anything."

"Yeah, that might be ideal." Saphira took a deep breath to try and calm her nerves. "I'll wait until Vanessa has finished her rounds…or stays in the basement…and I will go to the Fazcade myself to investigate. I just hope DJ Music Man remains where he is."

"He's a nice fellow though," Freddy responded, sounding surprised that Saphira said that. "You already know that."

"Yeah…but…his system is infiltrated with the virus," Saphira said, looking at him with a frown and he blinked in surprise at that. "So…I have to be careful with him too. Probably why I was attacked by that metal Music Man, they all share the same system."

"Well…that is a surprise…" Freddy said gently, he shakes his head because he felt more and more helpless. "You should at least allow me to go with you. You need one of us with you. It does not matter if Vanessa sees. You are more important."

Saphira wanted to say yes, but she was afraid of things happening if he did go with her. But she also was afraid of things happening when he wasn't there. It was just so frustrating, and the paranoia she was feeling really made her head hurt.

"I am sure it would be good for her for you to be there…but…" Pigpatch began before Saphira suddenly jumped and grabbed Freddy's arm, she shakes her head with a frown. "Nevermind…looks like it is decided."

"If he doesn't come with me, he might disappear," Saphira said with a whimper. "I would rather you be with me, and if something does happen, you are at least there to help."

Freddy smiled, he figured some of her response was the irrational fear she had of losing him now thanks to the injection, while it was also genuine. "When shall we go?"

Saphira glanced at the Fazwatch to locate Vanessa. "Vanessa is in the utility tunnels right now. Right on time like yesterday…so I think we are good."

"You want to go while there are guests still here?" Bonnie asked with a frown. "That is not wise. You know you can't do that."

"Damnit, you're right." Saphira grimaced, it was only ten thirty and there were some guests left, but they were all in the lobby area right now, so they would likely leave soon. "I guess we just have to wait until after midnight…not that I want to do that."

Freddy nodded. "I suppose we should head to your office. We have nothing else to do but wait."

"Yeah, it might be best. Thanks for telling us everything, Saphira." Mr Hippo walked over to her and hugged her gently. "Just know that whatever happens, we are here for you, okay? Just try to contain yourself as much as possible. I have a feeling your body is experiencing changes that you have already noticed."

Saphira did not want to admit that. Right now, the warmth from the animatronic bodies felt like a turn on for her. And it was bothersome in a way because Saphira did not want to listen to it. But…it was hard to. She had the desire for intimacy, but she was ignoring it right now because it was just something she wanted to avoid for now.

"Thanks for your support Mr Hippo…it is nice to have a father like you," Saphira said with a smile as she hugged him back. She glanced up at Pigpatch. "And it is nice to have two dads, you seem to have that personality too."

Pigpatch chuckled at her gently. "I am glad that I am seen that way. It is an honour."

Saphira grinned at him and Mr Hippo stepped away from her. "You should go and eat something."

She shakes her head. "I don't feel like it. I've been…not wanting to eat ever since…"

"I get that, but you should have something. Order soup from Chica Chowder, that might do you some good." Mr Hippo winked at her and she chuckled softly.

It was very endearing Mr Hippo was thinking of her wellbeing. It was so nice. Saphira stood up, she knew she had to go back to the office. She was just glad she was able to tell all the animatronics what has happened today. She felt quite shaken up, that was for sure. Saphira walked towards the office door with Freddy behind her as the other animatronics returned to their rooms. She was silent for a short time as they walk up the stairs to her office and entered the room.

"Sorry." Freddy looked at Saphira in surprise when she apologized suddenly. "I…I didn't mean to grab you like that. I am sorry."

"It is okay, you are going through so much right now. It is only natural you want me beside you all the time." He stepped up to her and gently grabbed her shoulder to spin her around to face him. "And to be honest, I don't intend on leaving your side. Especially during this week. You are stuck with me."

Saphira grinned at him and kissed him. "Good to know I won't have to convince you to stay by my side…hopefully I won't act like a total possessive idiot during the day again…although…I am kind of glad I was…or you would not have been here when Darren told us a lot."

"I am surprised he admitted to a lot of it…but…I suppose Darren must really trust you a lot to do that. I imagine it has been really hard for him to live this way. What will happen if you take over and he's still alive?" Freddy was genuinely curious about that.

"He will be free to live however he chooses, he shouldn't be tied down to this place. He should get to live the life he wants. But if he chooses to stay knowing it is not owned by a horrible person, it will be his choice." Saphira still intended on taking over, getting Mr Miller out of the way was more necessary than it has been.

"And do you believe what he said?" She frowned slightly at him in confusion. "You know, about the possibility of you becoming pregnant from me?"

"I…I…I don't know…" Saphira looked away from him to frown at the floor. "I think he might not be wrong…but…you are also correct. You are not fertile, if you were…it might be different. I don't expect that to change. Not without my knowledge."

"I agree." Freddy smiled at her and kissed her forehead. "However…I will understand if we do not get intimate for sometime. I think we should not tempt fate if that is the case." She nodded in agreement. "However, I do want to know. Mr Hippo said you might have noticed changes you've experienced. Is he right?"

Saphira hesitated to answer, she opened and closed her mouth a few times. "Yes…he…he is right. I…I went for a shower earlier…and I definitely noticed…and your body heat…" She felt tears stinging her eyes and her body began to tremble. "It makes me want to have intimacy. The closer you are to me now, the more I want it. I am containing myself, I just hope it doesn't get worse."

Freddy almost wanted to step back, but he didn't. He didn't want to treat her like she was poison. "I had no idea…that means me being this close and kissing you is making you a little crazy." She nodded and sniffled as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Saphira, I will be here for you. I know it will be hard, let me know if it gets too hard and I will move away. But I know that will be hard for you because you want me by your side. I will do what I can to help you."

Saphira wipes her cheeks and smiled at him. "Thank you…I don't know what I did to deserve you in my life. But I am so grateful for it!" She kissed him again and he kissed her back.

"I have asked myself the same," Freddy said with a chuckle. "But I suppose…we were meant to find each other and be together. Even if I am a machine, and you are a human."

"Makes little difference to me." Saphira grinned at him. "After all, I already told you that one's birth is irrelevant. You might have been built, but as far as I am concerned, you are alive like I am. At least it is not from the deaths of others. That would make it more awkward."

Freddy agreed. He was glad that Darren confirmed none of the animatronics had dead souls in them. It would really make him question so many things about himself if that was the case. Thankfully, he did not have to stress about that. For now, he and Saphira sat in the office talking to each other and keeping an eye on Vanessa. She stayed in the basement in the dining hall for quite sometime. It seemed she might do this regularly, though it was uncertain of course.

When it did hit midnight, the blonde woman had finally returned to her small office and informed Saphira she had finished her rounds. Saphira let her know that was fine and that the rest of night would be quiet. Saphira didn't want to giveaway she would be going to Fazcade, though if Vanessa was paying attention, she would see anyway.

Saphira and Freddy head to the atrium together to head up to the third floor. "What do you think we will find when we get to the Fazcade?" Freddy asked curiously.

"Anything that is unusual, you might not notice anything. I will. I've been to the back of the arcade a few times, I know what it looks like." Saphira glanced around the atrium as if she was expecting something to happen. She was nervous about heading to the Fazcade, she was just glad Freddy was with her. "There might not be any evidence, but I am going to look very closely."

Freddy nodded as they reach the third floor and approach the entrance to the Fazcade. "I do wonder now that we know there are hidden pathways in the pizzaplex for that metal Music Man if there are other hidden pathways. There is a possibility. I don't suppose we could look for one."

"We could…but I am not exactly feeling confident enough to do that." Saphira was actually terrified of that. Because if they opened a secret passageway, what would happen? That is what she was afraid of. "Just looking for evidence of that girl is going to be the only excitement for tonight."

Freddy understood what she meant. He could tell she was more afraid than she was normally. He hoped that bravery she had before comes back at some point, as far as he knew, she was going to need it. They enter the elevator at the Fazcade entrance and Saphira pressed the button to head to the arcade. Freddy did worry that the DJ would play music to make him dance, he just can't help himself when the music is played.

The doors open into the Fazcade and Saphira stepped out carefully. "Alright, try and be as quiet as possible. We don't want to get his attention."

Freddy nodded and followed Saphira with how she was walking. He was able to step as lightly as he possibly could as an animatronic. Saphira was pretty impressed by that though considering his weight and size. Once they were far enough from the DJ though, Saphira and Freddy walked briskly up to the next level to get to the back of the arcade. Saphira had no idea of what to expect when they get there, but they would find out.

When they reach the back, Saphira almost expected to see nightmare bots, but thankfully there was none. She grabbed out her flashlight and turned it on, shining it around the area for any evidence. Freddy followed her, looking around with scrutining eyes as well. Saphira shines her light at every machine back here, looking around them for anything that might belong to the girl. She knew the hairband was found, but there could be something else.

"Hmm…nothing seems out of place right now," Saphira said softly as she and Freddy walk through the hallway. "I do want to have a look at the Princess Quest machine too. I want to see if there is anything about it that suggests the girl was brainwashed."

"Is that wise?" Freddy asked with a concerned frown. "You could end up brainwashed too."

"As long as I don't touch or play the game, I should be fine." Saphira did not believe it could brainwash her just by looking at the screen. But…that is the trick the virus has had in the past, so it was possible.

"Hmm…I'll be beside you if something does happen." Freddy glanced ahead to the end of the hallway, the large, round tunnel at the end that was big enough for DJ Music Man to fit seemed to be very ominous. "At least he is sleeping."

Saphira made no comment about the large animatronic. She did not trust that at all. The virus likely knew where they were, so naturally, DJ Music Man could wake up at anytime to chase them. Though, at least Saphira had Freddy and he was much faster than her, so he could carry her and outrun DJ Music Man.

Saphira continued to search for clues, she hummed a little thoughtfully, there was not anything noticeable. However, she almost missed it. She glanced away for a moment before looking back at two arcade machines. One of them had a small dent in the side while the ground appeared to have drag marks on it. It was subtle, but Saphira stepped closer, shining the light at the concrete ground to see the marks. She dropped to her knees, she was not sure if the marks were fresh or not, but she could see something was definitely dragged. There were even scratch marks in the concrete, that meant someone may have put up a fight. There was no blood or anything, but it was something.

"Something was dragged here," Saphira said softly. "It doesn't look like the drag marks of an arcade machine. There is also a dent in one of the machines here."

Freddy looked closer at the marks curiously, he was surprised as he wouldn't have seen it if Saphira didn't point it out. "This isn't good. Where does the mark lead?"

Saphira was afraid of following it. But she stood up and carefully followed the drag marks to the wall close to the end of the hallway. She shines her light closely at the wall, she could barely make out the shape of a doorway in the wall.

"She was dragged into the wall," Saphira said, shining the light somewhere else to find other evidence. "OH!" She was shocked to see other drag marks, it wasn't just the one drag mark it seemed. Saphira was surprised. "I don't think that girl was the only one. There are many more drag marks here."

"I see...should we..." Freddy paused as he saw Saphira shaking her head. "Are you sure? We could find the girl."

"And Mr Miller, no thanks." Saphira sighed deeply, she felt very uncomfortable being here. "I think we should leave. I have a bad feeling." She was about to turn away before she spotted an arcade machine that stood out from the others. "Wait a minute..."

She walked closer to the machine, she saw it was a black machine with purple trimming and the golden figure of a princess holding a lantern and sword. Plus the name on the arcade machine gave it away.

"Another Princess Quest machine," Saphira said as she stepped closer, glaring at the machine. "It seems to be on."

Freddy stepped closer to her, he was worried something will happen to her. Though he watched her look into the screen carefully. Saphira could see it, it was barely visible. Aside from the casual play through screen playing on it, in the background was a shadowy figure of a rabbit. It was waving and Saphira recognized it instantly.

"That son of a bitch managed to make a machine with himself in it," Saphira said angrily as she glared at the screen. "I have an idea how it brainwashes people now."

Freddy was surprised by Saphira's language, although given how angry she was he wasn't going to scold her. "Should we destroy them?"

"That would be a good idea...however, we would probably be in more trouble if we do." Saphira stepped away from the machine. She looked at Freddy with a frown. "I think the virus will infiltrate other things now. He's found a way to brainwash other people seamlessly, so I expect him to keep doing it."

Freddy did not know what that meant, but it didn't sound good either. Saphira walked back down the hallway, Freddy glanced up to make sure the large animatronic was not present. Thankfully he was not, Freddy was relieved. At least they found other evidence of the girl, though he understood why Saphira did not want to check the hidden passage. It posed a huge risk, and Saphira was not confident in taking risks at the moment.

"How many Princess Quest machines are there?" Freddy asked curiously.

"There is one in Superstarcade and Fazcade…so two as far as I know…now a third one in the back, which is strange…" Saphira counted them on her fingers thoughtfully. "I know a third arcade is being suggested, a mini one up at Bonnie Bowling called Bonniecade, but I might reject that idea for that reason. Though…I am not sure if I can."

"That is not good…but if the virus can brainwash others in the other attractions…that wouldn't matter if we stop the Princess Quest machines," Freddy said thoughtfully. "Plus, there could be other arcade machines in the works similar to Princess Quest."

Yep, Saphira had thought about that one too. It was not good at all. Saphira and Freddy walk back into the main Fazcade area, they were both happy nothing seemed to go south with their investigation here. Though, Saphira knew she could have found more answers by opening the door on that wall. The fact she found it made her shudder, she hoped that was not how Mr Miller wanted her to find him in a week's time. She couldn't help but wonder if he would want her to try visit earlier than that.

"At least we have some answers tonight…it does not answer everything, but it is something." Saphira glanced around the arcade like she would normally if she doing her rounds, she knew no one was here, though she'd be more worried they would disappear.

Freddy nodded in agreement. They carefully pass by DJ Music Man as they head back to the elevator to go back to the atrium. Saphira hummed softly to the elevator music to help her distress a little from investigating, although when the doors open she nearly yelped in surprise.

"Vanessa? Why are you standing there like that?" Saphira asked with a frown as she saw the woman standing there with her arms folded.

"I was wondering why you were wondering the Fazcade with Freddy," Vanessa said sternly. The woman glanced at Freddy with a raised eyebrow, then back at Saphira.

"If you must know, I was just doing some follow up investigation," Saphira responded bluntly, placing her hands on her hips. "I am sure you heard about the teenager who went missing today." Vanessa nodded slowly. "And I was able to pinpoint the last location of the girl. I was looking for evidence that Darren might have missed."

"Was there any?" The woman asked curiously, her face softened as she seemed to realize what Saphira was doing. "Why did you take Freddy?"

"Freddy was one of the animatronics to last see her, plus he cares about the guests that come here and he felt the need to help me." Saphira felt like that was a good enough reason to give Vanessa, even if it was not true. "And sadly, no…there was no other evidence there. The only one that was found was her head band…hopefully no other kid goes missing."

Vanessa nodded, seemingly sad about it. "I can't believe that happened after my first shift…it's crazy."

"Yeah, it definitely is," Saphira said slowly and took a deep breath. "Anyway, Freddy needs to get to his room for a recharge. I was going to escort him to his room before I head back to my office."

"Alright. Sorry if I overstepped a boundary, I just thought it was weird you took an animatronic with you." Vanessa stepped away with an apologetic expression.

"It shouldn't be weird. They are no different to you and I, just because they're animatronic doesn't mean they don't have emotions, feelings and their own thoughts." Saphira shakes her head at her and walked away from her with Freddy. "You had better get used to that if you want to stay here, it is pretty normal for them to want to help and talk."

"They have not offered to talk to me," Vanessa said with a huff.

"Probably because you haven't given us a reason to yet," Freddy responded to her kindly. "Treat us like you would another person, and we will respond."

Vanessa just huffed again, she did not seem to agree. But both Saphira and Freddy head down from the third floor with the woman following so she too can return to her office. Although, Saphira found herself really disliking that woman following, even if she had to go the same direction. She almost wanted to change her path, but that would look too suspicious. Once at the bottom floor, Saphira walked briskly to Rockstar Row with Freddy and she felt Vanessa's eyes on them as they walk through the doorway.

"I guess she saw us," Freddy said to her softly.

"She would have come in sooner if she had," Saphira responded bluntly with a frown. "She knew we were there, and she was waiting for us. I think she wanted me to admit we found evidence."

"Maybe, but you can't know for sure." Freddy did not know if Vanessa did see him and Saphira enter the Fazcade and go through it to the back, or if she only just seen them on their way out. But…Vanessa wouldn't have gotten there in time if she had, and he knew it. So he was inclined to believe Saphira. "What benefit would admitting to it be?"

"No idea." Saphira did not want to think on that either.

Freddy did go to his room to recharge while she waited for him in his room to finish. She did not want to go to her office alone, she felt afraid to be alone and without him at the moment. Once he was fully recharged, they go to her office together where Saphira finally had something to eat as she felt her hunger again, and to talk things over together while letting the other animatronics know what was discovered. They were all disturbed by the findings, and they were even more concerned with the virus's new approach that seems like it will be relentless until it is stopped. They could only hope that it can be stopped soon to prevent anymore tragedy.
