*Trigger Warning for Chapter as it is Dark.*

Bodies, there were bodies all around her. All were old and rotting corpses, the skeletons of the people who had disappeared years earlier. Some still had some old skin on them, but it was very hard to see. Saphira felt her stomach turning into a knot and she glanced at the garbage pile she fell on. She nearly was sick right there and then when she saw a skeletal arm sticking out of the pile. That was one of the things poking her when she landed. She heart static from the Fazwatch as the animatronics were trying to reach her. She tried sending an encoded message, only for the watch to get static along the screen and not respond.

I should have waited for Bonnie…

She felt like an idiot, but there was no time to think on that one right now. She saw several doorways into tunnels, and she turned to each of them, wondering which one was the way out. She had to pick just one, and she knew this is where those nightmare bots were lingering as well. She was not going to wait around for them to find her. She picked one on her right, not knowing if this was the right way. She hoped that the animatronics knew a way to get down to the second basement, but…she was also angry at Vanessa.

Vanessa pushed her! She also acted like she tried to save her as the animatronics arrived! Has she been playing this whole time?! This was very different to how Dave was, that was for sure. She felt like she might not even control herself the next time she sees that woman…but…she had no idea what story that woman had come up with to tell the animatronics right now. She knew it was still busy as well, Freddy won't be able to leave until he was not needed.

The tunnel she walked into was definitely part of the sewer system, there were piles of garbage each side of the river and Saphira made sure to avoid stepping into the river. The smell alone made her want to be sick right than and there. However, as she walked along, more bodies became very evident as well. She tried to ignore them, mostly because it horrified her, and she also had an answer for what happened to the past disappearances. She didn't know if this is where the bodies were dumped, or if they were moved for this incident.

She opened the door at the end of the tunnel into a larger, open space with more pipes and a little less garbage around. That was not so bad, it still stunk, but there were no bodies at least. She swallowed nervously, walking around the fence off gap, glancing at the huge pipes below and glancing at the next, archway tunnel. She knew the pizzaplex was large, she expected this to be a maze in itself and she did not know how long she would be stuck down here.

She did wish there was a camera down here, at least than she could stand in front of it and wave her arms, hoping someone would see her. Sadly, there was none. Or, none that were working. She did find one camera, it was on the ground and completely destroyed. The wiring it hung from was busted and sparking slightly from above. Saphira glanced down the tunnel, she couldn't see anywhere else to go but down the tunnel. There was some lighting down here, however, she spotted a nightmare body head with glowing eyes in the wall at the end.

Great…just what I needed…

She walked through the tunnel and glanced at the garbage pile briefly. She noticed a few dead nightmare bots in the pile, though she was not so confident they were actually dead. The bot in the wall was stuck, but it was still on and watching her. She shuddered and gasped when she walked into a huge, dark, underground area. She shines her flashlight around, it was extremely hard to see anything. The air was not as foul here, but she definitely looked forward to getting herself some fresh air. She did consider going to the roof of the pizzaplex for the rest of the night, that way it will do her some good.

There were so many piles of garbage here, loose wiring, old rusty pipes on the ground, some old pizzaplex wagons and garbage bins, even some broken Wet Floor Sign bots were here among the piles. She did notice more bodies too, but she didn't shine on the piles for very long as she searched for a way out. She paused when she heard the sound of loud, mechanical whirring in the darkness and froze, turning her light off briefly in case something was down here.

She waited…and waited…and waited. It felt like hours, but it was only ten minutes and she took a deep breath and turned her light on again. She walked around the space and spotted a large, rusty pipe with party lights on and resting on the ground. She frowned and approached it, she saw there was a thin blanket and squashed pillow on the ground, the wall of the pipe had lines on them. Someone had been counting their days down here.

Creepy…

Saphira looked away from it to keep walking, finally spotting a smaller hallway to walk through. She walked towards it and peered down it, it looked like a long hallway. She considered going back and trying another tunnel…but she could be just wasting her time. She shuddered and stepped into the hallway, walking down it carefully. There was no light in this tunnel at all, she at least was happy it was not completely silent. The sound of the working sewer actually was comforting, if it was completely silent, she would not like it at all. She hated suspense, and this was suspense in itself, but at least she wasn't expecting something to jump out at her from the loud silence. At least, not all the time. She did expect something to jump at her in this hallway, but thankfully nothing did.

She found herself in another large area with piping, however, to get to the otherside, there was a wooden bridge. She looked at the planks and saw they appeared to be past their prime. And the drop into the space below…she could see so many staff bot bodies, and some skeletons too. She hated the idea of running into fresher bodies, she was sure they would be down here somewhere. Although, she has not seen a rat once either, which was odd as she expected to see or hear rats and mice at least.

She cautiously placed her foot on the plank, it groaned slightly under her weight, but it did not give way. Thankfully, she placed her other foot on to see how it took her full weight. It just groaned. Good. She did not rush across it though, she took one step at a time across the bridge to the otherside and pulled herself onto some piping and over the railing onto the ledge. She sighed in relief and glanced at the next hallway. A green light lit this hallway and she walked into it, there was some dripping pipes in the hallway, she avoided the puddle on the ground and walked around the corner. There was a broken wall on the right and she glanced through it to see a floor below, it was dimly lit and full of garbage. Nothing else was in there though…as far as she knew.

She kept walking, even though she was walking quickly she was stepping very lightly. It was a technique taught to her when she learned martial arts, she wanted to make as little noise as possible. She was sure the nightmare bots knew she was down here of course, but the less noise she made, the less attention she'd receive. So far, it was working. She had not heard anything that worried her at the moment.

However, as she kept following the tunnel, she gasped when she saw another plank of wood she had to cross. But, all around this space were nightmare bot bodies, they were making up the wall and ground of this space. She saw two pipes that had no water coming from them. This was very scary. She looked at the other side of the plank, the gap was not very huge. She could probably jump over it. But…that was very risky. She glanced at the bots, their eyes were not glowing and they appeared to be dismantled. Saphira did not trust it. She placed her foot on the plank and tested the weight. Again, it groaned and did not shift. She moved her full weight onto it and it did nothing again and she walked along it carefully and quickly. She was relieved when she got to the other side, only for a brief moment.

As she reached the end of the tunnel, she glanced either side as it split off into two directions. She rolled her eyes slightly and made a right first, only for it to lead to a dead end and turned the other. However, it broke off into multiple tunnels and she realized it was a maze. She gritted her teeth and walked through the tunnel quickly, only jumping and yelping briefly when a skeleton fell in front of her and she jumped over it. She luckily didn't yelp too loudly, but it still echoed lightly through the tunnels. She kept walking until she finally managed to get out into a large hallway. She glanced upward as the walls went very high and she could not see the ceiling at all. There were some lights on the wall, but it was still very dark down here.

And it seemed to go upward slightly, that was good. At least, she thought it was as she walked up the slope and into a doorway. She was relieved when she saw stairs and ran up them, hoping to find something that would lead her to a familiar space. However, when she opened the door, she screamed as a nightmare bot was standing right at the door. She stumbled backwards and fell on her backside. She looked up at it in fear as it rolled towards her slowly. She glared at it and stood up, sweeping her legs at the wheels and knocking it to the ground. She jumped over it as the bot hiss and tried grabbing her ankles. She ran into the large room, she recognized it as part of the warehouse as she ran through the room. She was relieved to say the least because she could find the tunnels to get out.

Though, as she kept running, she skidded to a stop when twelve nightmare bots roll towards her quickly. She backed away nervously, glancing around briefly before darting through a side door to the left, she screamed as she didn't see it led to a slight drop. She faceplanted into a pile of old boxes and pushed them out of the way, sliding down to another door and opened it. She groaned as she found herself into another long, dark hallway. She ran down it as she could hear the nightmare bots following her and she looked for somewhere to hide. She wanted them to just go by her so she could keep searching for a way out.

She glanced over her shoulder and saw the army of eyes following her and she turned a corner and made another left before she found a door. She opened it and closed it, thankfully it made no noise and closed it as quietly as possible. She stepped away from the window of the door to hide by a bookshelf and turned her flashlight off. She crouched and walked. She heard the wheels approaching quickly and zoom past the door. She let out a small sigh, she was trembling and she had no idea how long it would take for her to get out of here. She turned her flashlight back on and shines it around the room she was in. It was empty, except for an overturned table, bookshelf and candles all over the floor.

She decided to take a moment, she didn't want to get out and follow the direction of the nightmare bots straight away. She needed a moment to think. She turned the flashlight back off and sat by the bookshelf. She rubbed her face with her hands, wondering how the hell she was going to get out. She looked at her Fazwatch, it was still not responding. She could no longer hear the static voices anymore. She guessed the animatronics couldn't reach her. She felt tears in her eyes, she felt so stupid going to the kitchen on her own.

The last time she felt like people had no time for her was when she was a child. The first time that feeling came was when she was four and her younger sister had been born. At the time, she thought it was because she was a new baby. But, overtime, it became clear she was no longer a priority. Her older sisters and brother were treated better than her. And everytime she was told people were too busy, she would go ahead and do something anyway even if they told her to wait. She reacted like she did back than, and she didn't know why she had such a response to Bonnie.

Hope that damn injection isn't messing with my old feelings and memories…

If the virus in the system had a brain, the injection may as well have one too. At least, that is the logic Saphira thought. She let out some tears, she wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by her family right now. She wanted to be somewhere safe right now. And to shower, her shirt was slightly tattered and there were stains from the garbage she has landed on. Her hair was slightly messy as well.

After ten minutes, there was no sound from the bots, so they must not have turned back to look for her. Thankfully, they didn't seem very smart. But, she was still careful when she turned her flashlight back on and peered out the window of the door, checking her surroundings. Nothing. She opened the door and stepped out cautiously, glancing both ways before glancing down the way the bots had gone. She couldn't go back, there was no way to go back. She could only keep going down the hallway.

She didn't run though, she walked quietly like before to not bring attention to herself. There was some concrete pieces on the ground, gas pipes hissing and water dripping, it was a lot more damaged down here. Saphira avoided anything on the ground she could trip on and kept walking. She made a left as the tunnel curved and she paused for a moment to listen. Nothing. Except for dripping water and hissing gas. Good, though she was listening very carefully for those wheels to return.

However, as she kept walking, she found herself at a fourway crossroads. She glanced around, clenching her teeth as she looked at each of them. They all led somewhere dark with lighting in them. However, she listened quietly. She hoped to be able to hear the nightmare bots and pick a tunnel to avoid them. But, she does not hear them. However, the air smelt fresher in the tunnel on the right.

Hmm, I guess Gandalf was right when he had to choose a tunnel in the Mines of Moria. Always follow your nose.

Saphira took the right tunnel and walked down it cautiously. She didn't know if this was really right, but the air definitely was fresher and less stale down this tunnel. There was a lot less trash here as well, which was good. But…there were a few bodies here. Small skeletons, it was easy to see they were children's skeletons. Saphira wondered who these people, they would only be able to be identified through their dental records. She noticed a few old generators too, they were hooked up to the walls and one had a very long line to someone. They were too rusty to be safe to turn on.

Saphira sighed and walked away from them, though she saw the line running from the generators connecting to a very old recharge station. She was surprised. The station did not have the Glamrock pictures on it at all, it was completely grey and old, wires were hanging out and she noticed there were notepads inside with scribbles on it. She frowned, this was weird.

She looked away only to hear something tumbling loudly above her. She glanced up and saw a vent, she yelped as she saw silver eyes approaching her quickly. She dodged the vent falling on her as the nightmare bot slammed through it and ran away from it. It hissed loudly and made a very high-pitched shriek, making her cover one ear briefly. She kept running as the bot chased after her. She tried looking for a way to hide from it, but she was tackled by another bot from above. She screamed as it landed on her shoulders, forced her to the ground.

She grabbed the arms to throw it over her body and stood up, the bot lunged at her and pressed her into the wall hard. She yelped as the wind is knocked from her lungs and glared back at the bot. It's face suddenly split in half and opened slightly to reveal a snake-like mouth with sharp fangs and red eyes behind the mask. She kicked the abdoman of the bot, causing it to roll back and picked up an old pipe to hit its head, causing the metal to splinter and fly from it's face. The other bot jumped at her and she hits it away as well before dropping the pipe and running.

She made two rights and a left before running into another door and closing it carefully, breathing heavily and trying to quieten her panting. However, after closing the door, she realized the warm was warm, well lit and her nose picked up the aroma of chicken. She turned in surprise and yelped, stepping back when she saw him. A Bonnie animatronic, at least, that is what she thought it was. The casings were extremely worn, there was many holes in the casing and she was able to see old wiring hanging out. The colour is a yellowish green, half of the right ear was gone and there were dark stains of old blood on the holes of the casing. The abdoman of the animatronic shocked here though, she was sure she could see a human spine and ribs in the chest area, but it was hard to see.

The eyes of the animatronic were bright like the eyes she saw in the office when she only saw the shadow of the person who had come to taunt her. "Welcome, Saphira. It took you a lot longer than I expected, but you are finally here," It spoke to her in the same cold, gnarly voice she has heard before. "Vanessa did good in getting you down here."

Saphira didn't know what to saw. Her hands felt for the doorknob behind her, only to find it was locked. "Uh..h-h-h…y-y-y-y…" She was trembling so much she wasn't able to say anything properly. "Wh-wh-wh…M…Mr…M-M…Mi…l-l-l..er?"

The animatronic managed to produce a grin at her, making her shudder at his response. "Who else would it be? Although, I must admit, Mr Miller is the most mundane name I've chosen." Saphira did not know what that meant. He gestured to a dining table, on it was a whole, roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, peas, gravy, corn, carrot and a tomato soup with toasted bread. "Please, sit down." He picked up a champagne bottle and popped the cork open. "Let's talk, shall we?"

Saphira felt as though this was almost like a repeat of the warehouse, but she doubted she could decline the request. She stumbled forward nervously and the animatronic pulled the chair back slightly. She sat down and tensed when he pushed her in before pouring the champagne into a champagne glass.

He placed it down and walked to the opposite side. "It seems things a little tense up there. My little Vanny is causing all kinds of trouble for you." He chuckled as he poured himself a glass and sat down. She was surprised the seat did not give out from under his weight. "I hope you like the Sunday roast."

She glanced at the food in front of her. It wasn't even Sunday, but she made no comment about it. "Um…i-i-it'd fine…"

Mr Miller huffed at her in amusement. "Well, first thing is the appetizer. Tomato soup with sweet basil, garlic and a hint of cumin." He grabbed a soup bowl to fill, she couldn't really see that as anything but blood at the moment. "I love Sunday roast, it was always my favorite meal. Ah, when my beautiful wife cooked it, it always filled me up so good." He had a wife?! "Sadly, I can't enjoy that anymore. It has been so many years…"

He placed the bowl in front of her and moved a small bowl of bread towards her. "Uuhh…um…" Saphira wasn't sure where to begin. "Y…You…an animatronic?"

He chuckled as he filled a bowl for himself, which was a surprise to her as she thought he couldn't eat. "In some way, I am. But in other ways, no."

She did not know what he meant. She picked up a spoon, deciding it was best not to get him angry and dipped it into the soup and sipped it, to her surprise it was very tasty. "So…w-w-w-why…" She took a deep breath and slurped the soup off the spoon for a moment. "Why…w-w-why…"

"Why are you here? Or why are people disappearing?"

She glanced away for a moment as she thought on that. "Both…I guess…"

"The first part, I can answer easy. Progess is not being made, and I am getting a little impatient." Oh…that didn't sound good. And Saphira was trapped in this room with him right now. "But no matter, I am not worried about that anymore. Unless things don't go well for you." He grinned at her and she stared at him with a fearful expression. "As for those…poor, pitiful souls, well…like I said, it keeps me satisfied. And, I need new souls all the time."

He picked up his spoon and lifted it, the way he held it appeared to be odd because he didn't dip the spoon into the soup properly and lifted it out. She heard him slurping it, but he opened his mouth wider than she thought he would for that. "For…your bots?"

"Hmm, you already know the reason. My little Darren's been keeping you up to date. He's been a bad boy, but I think you are allowed to know." He chuckled slightly as he spoke, making her shudder at that. "Nice soup, isn't it?"

She nodded and picked up one of the pieces of toast to dip into the soup. "Why did…um…y-y-you buy this business?"

"I've owned it ever since it started…well…when an old friend died and I took over," Mr Miller responded with a shrug. "I was known by a different name back than, I like the name I have now. Not Mr Miller of course."

Saphira remembered being told he had many names. "Oh…do…you get b-b-b-bored of o-o-one name…?"

He chuckled at her softly. "I suppose that I do…however…I like my name. Do you remember the story about William Afton? The man who had been discovered to have connections with faulty animatronics at the first pizzeria?" She nodded slightly, she only knew a little bit about the story. "Well, you are looking at him. In the fl…no, no, well, corpse and metal."

Corpse and metal?! What does that mean? Saphira paused her hand halfway to her mouth with a toast piece, soup dripped off it as it was a shock to hear. "Huh? I-I-I d-d-don't understand."

"No, it seems you do not." Mr Miller grinned at her as he too dipped some toast into the soup, only he plunged it and got some of the soup on his fingers. "I am too intelligent for this word. That is why I alone figured out how powerful souls are. I must admit, the first attempts got me in this situation…" He gestured to his body before sticking his hand into his mouth to eat the toast and soup, she heard chewing, but the mouth does not move. "But I don't regret it. No, it gave an eternal life, so to speak. I learned how to figure out how to infiltrate computers once the world knew more of the internet. No one else has."

Saphira finally ate the toast piece in her hand, she felt like she would gag though, as at this point she was forcing herself to eat. "Why though?"

"I need people on the outside to do my bidding, simple as that." Mr Miller picked up the glass and sniffed it. "Mmm, I hope you like champagne."

"Not old enough yet…" Saphira simply responded shyly.

"Oh yeah, you're not twenty-one yet. Silly me, I forgot." He chuckled and leaned back suddenly, opening his mouth and pouring the entire champagne from the glass into the mouth, gulping loudly. She was very surprised by that. He smashed the glass on the ground, causing her to jump and he wiped his mouth. "That will change very soon. But…" He narrows his eyes slightly, making Saphira tense a lot more at that. "We have a more important issue at hand."

"Why n-n-not u-u-use…V-V-Vanessa a-a-as y-y-your inc-incubator?" Saphira asked nervously as she knew he was going to speak about it.

"She's not useful for that, she's infertile," Mr Miller simply responded, rising slowly from her seat as he glared at Saphira. "Plus, she's not even pretty. Not like you."

Saphira placed her spoon down and looked at him with fear as he walked around the table slowly. "Why…why c-c-can't y-y-you l-l-leave me a-a-alone?"

"But you are alone." She frowns slightly at him as he spoke. "You have always been alone. From the moment you were born, no body cared. No body wanted." She placed her hands over her ears to block out his voice, but he somehow managed to reach them as he approached her and leaned down to speak. "You figured it out when you are a toddler. They only cared about your other siblings, you were just a slave. A punching bag. You would have been a good toy if you didn't leave…"

"SHUT UP!" Saphira screamed, shoving the chair back into the animatronic and turning to glare at him. "You don't know anything!"

"Oh, but I do!" He responded with a chuckle, circling around her. "Why do you think no one has come for you? Vanny has convinced them it was all just a little accident." She felt tears burning her eyes and she let out a sob, grimacing slightly as she tried not making eye contact with him. "They have no more time for you…" She shakes her head, trying to ignore his words. "They will choose sides. It won't be yours. Just like when your sister broke your mother's vase, and you were cast out because they took her word over yours."

"Shut up, shut up!" Saphira fell to the ground, covering her ears with her arms.

He chuckled softly and lowered himself to the ground, she tensed as she felt the large hand on her back. "But I am not like them," He whispers to her in a softer, gentler voice. "If you let me in, I'll take care of you. If you do the one task I need from you. I'll set you free after."

She glanced up at him with a frown. "You mean, you'll kill me?"

"It is the same as setting you free, is it not?" He argued with a smirk. "My name, is Springtrap. That is who I go by now, and have been a long, long time." Springtrap? That suits him well. "You should keep eating that soup. It will go cold."

She took deep breaths, not knowing what she should do. She realized she was starting to feel numb in her stomach. She didn't know why. "You expect me to eat more of your poison?"

"My dear, sweet, Saphira…" Springtrap placed his hand on her cheek gently, wiping away a stray tear falling down her face. "It isn't poison. I don't know why you think that. We have a great meal to eat. Just sit and enjoy it."

Saphira trembled and grabbed the chair shakily, moving to sit on it as she glared at Springtrap. He grinned at her. "Sure…fine…"

"That's a good girl…" Springtrap pushes her in again and tapped his finger on the table like he was speaking to a child. "Eat your fill, I can tell you just want to argue some more."

She picked up her spoon with a frown. This animatronic was treating her like a child…she didn't understand it. He was manipulating her, she could tell. Yet…some of it was working. Her old fears and memories brought up the bad feelings again, she did worry that the animatronics would take Vanessa's side. And somehow…she believed they would.

Springtrap walked to the other side and he picked up a knife to begin carving the chicken. "Keep eating, my dear, it is getting cold."

Saphira glanced at the soup for a moment before she heard the door unlocking. She glanced over her shoulders and saw several nightmare bots rolling in. "What inspired that design anyway?"

"Oh, just an old puppet animatronic I know." Springtrap shrugged and grinned at Saphira. "Is the leg or wing your favourite?"

"How can you eat anyway?" Saphira asked with a frown, sipping another spoonful of the soup.

He chuckled slowly before placing his hand on his head. "Maybe once you see, you will finally understand why I need a new body." She widened her eyes as the top part of face was rolled back and she was staring back at a human skull that had been impaled by metal clamps. It was a springlock suit! His mouth began to move as he speaks. "Now you know. Eat, my sweet Saphira."

Saphira was frozen with fear, he pulled the mask back on and looked back at the chicken to keep carving. She frowned, no way was she going to listen to this psychopath. She gripped the side of the table and pushed it up, standing up quickly as she did. Springtrap stumbled back in surprise and fell backwards as the table and food fell on top of him. Saphira turned and rushed out of the room, smacking the faces of the staff bots that lunged for her as she ran out of the room into the hallway. All she could think about was getting out, and getting out now!

Author's note: I never liked Scraptrap or Burntrap's design. I'll always prefer Springtrap over those two.
