Mr Hippo frowned when she said what she said. He stepped closer to her and gently grabbed her hands, pulling her up from the chair to hug her tightly. He felt how tense Saphira was, her heart was racing and Saphira could only think on the pain she had caused the animatronics. She felt bad…she let her own emotions get the better of her in the moment and stretch it out over these past weeks. She hitched a breath as tears began to flow from her eyes. Mr Hippo held her gently, rubbing her back as she began to sob.

"You didn't do anything, Saphira," Mr Hippo said to her in a very calm, gentle tone. "None of this is your fault. You should understand that this could have happened to another girl as well. If you were not the night guard to stay longer than a week, another would have." She didn't respond to that, mostly because she didn't like the sound of that either given her relationship that she has had with Freddy. "You have been a victim of…a lot. And I think it has undone a lot your therapy that you've been through. I can help a little with that, but you should get a real therapist regarding your old family."

Saphira sniffled and pulled back from Mr Hippo, placing her hands on his chest to push him away. "But…I…l-l-let m-m-my old feelings take over…I pushed you all away."

Mr Hippo smiled at her and wipes a tears from her cheek. "Not very far though. We are not going anywhere. We still love you. We know you're hurting."

She glanced away from him with a frown. "I've…I haven't been a very good friend…have I? All the…clinginess I had…"

"You know that also isn't your fault," Mr Hippo interrupts gently. "It was the injection. And, maybe see what happened as a good thing." She deepened her frown when he said that. "If you are pregnant, he might not do as much cruelty to you as he did before."

"That…um…that isn't good to think, Mr Hippo," She moved to step away from him, she felt her chest tightening as she felt a panic attack threaten. "I've hurt you…I don't like what I've become."

Mr Hippo sighed and stepped closer to her. "You are still you. I still see the same Saphira I first laid eyes on when you fixed me. To me, you haven't changed. You've just been in pain."

She stared at Mr Hippo. She didn't know if she could agree with him. She felt like garbage right now with how much she has treated the animatronics. She felt so much shame right now, she just wanted to run away and hide. That is what she wanted to do. She stepped away from him, stumbling towards the doors.

"Where are you going?" Mr Hippo asked with worry. She glanced at him silently as she walked towards the elevator. "Saphira, I still love you. You do know that when you called me dad, it meant so much to me. You, well, I see you as my beautiful daughter." She paused and looked at him when he said that. "Pigpatch said that I have a very beautiful daughter. I know you do not yet actually see him as your father figure yet either, but…someday, I hope for that to happen."

Saphira smiled slightly only for her to turn away from him. "I am so sorry…"

"Saphira, you don't need to apologize…"

"Yes I do…I hurt you…I hurt Freddy…" She stumbled towards the elevator. "I don't even know if I can forgive myself for that. I am sorry."

"Where are you going?" Mr Hippo asked, walking towards the elevator with worry.

She stepped into the elevator and looked back at him. "Where trashed staff bots go."

Mr Hippo frowned in confusion. "What does that mean?" The doors begin to close and he rushed forward to try and stop them. "Saphira! Wa…"

The doors shut and Saphira stood there sobbing softly. She felt so shameful right now, all she wanted to do was hide. When the doors of the elevator finally open, she rushed out of it and ran to the atrium. She peered out of the door, glancing around curiously. She was glad the pizzaplex was finally empty at this point, she ran up to the third floor of the atrium to head to the Fazcade. She knew it might be a bad idea given DJ Music Man was there, but that is where she was heading.

"Saphira!" Mr Hippo spoke through the Fazwatch in a worried tone. "Where are you? I will come to you." Saphira's bottom lip trembled as she reached the Fazcade elevator and sobbed softly. "Come on, don't run away. Please, I didn't mean to hurt you."

"You didn't," Saphira responded quickly in a very raspy tone. "I…I…" She couldn't say where she was because she didn't want him to find her.

"Super star, please, don't hide," Freddy said through the Fazwatch, she was surprised and realized Mr Hippo had opened communication to everyone. "I do not know what was said, but I am here for you. Come to me in my room…we can talk…"

Saphira shakes her head and placed her hand on the Fazwatch, pressing a button to cut off the communication. She took a deep breath trying to keep herself from crying too hard, everything just felt impossible right now. The doors of the elevator open into the Fazcade, Saphira rushed inside. She glanced towards DJ Music Man, he turned his head towards her and tilts his head slightly at her, but she turned away from him quickly not wanting to be near him at this time. She ran up to the top floor of the Fazcade and ran to the back to run into the staff bot office. She stood in it, taking deep breaths before walking towards one end of the room and sliding a door open into a large room. In it were hundreds of staff bots. They were here to be thrown away or used as spare parts. Saphira turned her flashlight on and closed the door, walking to the wall and moving some of the parts aside. She sat down before curling up and laying on her side, sobbing softly and covering her face with her hands.

The animatronics kept trying to reach her to find her, she did not respond. It took thirty minutes for Saphira to stop sobbing. She just laid there, staring into the darkness and sniffling, ignoring the tears that were falling from her eyes. That was when she began to sing softly.

"Everywhere I turn I hurt someone,

But there's nothing I can say to change the things I've done.

I'd do anything within my power, give everything I've got,

But that path I seek is hidden from me now."

She heard a pair of animatronic footsteps entering the staff bot office, but she did not lift her head and simply ignored it for now and kept singing.

"Freddy Fazbear, I let you down.

You trusted me, believed in me and I let you down.

Of all the things I hid from you, I cannot hide the shame,

And pray someone, something will come to take away the pain."

She barely flinched when she heard the door to the staff bot trash room slid open slowly, she didn't even bother to look up. She simply kept staring into the darkness, and kept singing the song.

"There's no way out of this dark place,

No hope, no future.

I know I can't be free,

But I can't see another way.

And I can't face another day."

She let out a sigh and some more tears, but she did not even look to see who had arrived. She heard the feet approaching her, she clenched her eyes shut, wanting to be left alone. The animatronic drops to their knees and sighed loudly. She felt warm hands grab her arm gently and lift her from the ground. She opened her eyes to frown, only to widen her eyes in surprise when she saw Pigpatch. She thought it was Mr Hippo or Freddy, but it was the pig animatronic.

He pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tightly. "It seems I had the pleasure of hearing your song voice. Even if it was not a happy song." He smiled as she wrapped her arms around him and sobbed softly. "Mr Hippo gave us some of the details as to why you ran and hid, and why you are so upset. I do not understand humans one bit."

She pulled away with a frown, sniffling a little as she did not know what he was trying to say. "What…what do you mean?"

"Believe it, or not, but I have seen some TV shows," Pigpatch said with a smile. "There used to be a comedy theater before it got turned into Shy Foxette, and I used to be that animatronic to tell jokes. It got changed because I just lost interest in it. But I will say, there are so many shows that depict humans reacting the way you are, and for things that is not even your fault."

Saphira was not following, she did not know what shows Pigpatch had seen, and she failed to see how it related to her. "I am not understanding…"

"Saphira, you are blaming yourself for what is happening," Pigpatch explained softly. "You feel as though you are hurting others when you have been hurt. We did hurt you, it wasn't our intention and we apologize for it. You've hurt us, it was not your intention. You see, I have a feeling…you being pinned against us, and us pinned against you is something someone else wants."

She listened to Pigpatch and shifted back from him to sit against the wall behind her. "I suppose you are right…"

"Saphira, listen, I am not the gentle speaker like Mr Hippo. But I am a pretty good listener and observer." He smiled at her as she smirked slightly when he said that. "And I also know a great deal about the virus, so I know for a fact that having you separate from us benefits him. So, he has hit you and all of us where it hurts. Using Vanessa to tell stories that may or may not be true. You fell into the second basement, so I assume something happened to you there, you didn't come out of there looking all messed up for no reason."

"So…does that mean…" Saphira grimaced as she knew what she was about to ask. "Nevermind…doesn't matter if you believe me or not now. I was just really stupid…"

"Maybe. But the way I see it, you have a choice to make Saphira." She looked at him in surprise when he said that. "You have a choice to sulk and act like you have been hurt for many days like you have been the last few weeks. You have the choice to stop blaming yourself and us for the pain you're in, there is only one who has caused that pain. That is not you or us. You know that. We have a choice to fight, to find the evidence and save other humans from terrible fates."

She smiled at him as she listened to him. His advice was definitely sound and good. "I guess you are right…I guess…I have been scared and focused on the wrong things…I haven't been trying to get rid of the virus."

"Yep, you definitely have." Pigpatch hoped he had gotten through to Saphira. "Sure, Vanessa is suspicious at the moment. But, she is a small puzzle in all of this mess. I have a feeling you saw the real Mr Miller in the second basement. It is he, who we must destroy."

"I don't see how," Saphira said with a sigh. "He doesn't seem very good at dying honestly." She didn't know if that was true, but from what she has seen, Springtrap will be difficult to kill. "I guess we will figure something out."

"Hmm, I am unsure of what you had seen, it does not sound good though." The bot shrugged a little and smiled at her. "However, we have time to think about that. But, I think all of us need time to heal, to rebond. I know you feel like you were betrayed, but at least you weren't thrown out. You have a nice, warm, building to shelter in with food, showers and large, animatronics to protect you, so I don't think this a repeat of your past life."

She giggled softly at him, it was music to Pigpatch's ears when she laughed. "Yeah, it definitely beats having to sleep in a box and try to keep warm with whatever I could find. I am grateful for it…" She took a deep breath and threw her arms around Pigpatch again. "Thank you Pigpatch…I think I needed to hear that. Straight to the point…"

"You are welcome, Saphira," Pigpatch said, kissing her cheek gently and patting her back. "That is what I am here for. I may not be your dad, or Mr Hippo, but I do what I can."

She smiled at him. "Well…that is true. But…you have had the dad vibes ever since I fixed you. Though…I definitely see you as dad. Thank you, dad."

He chuckled softly. "Good to know that is where I sit. Just let me know if you plan to do something you will regret, I will hold you back."

"Like murdering Vanessa?" Saphira asked with a raised eyebrow.

He widened his eyes in surprise at the question. "Especially something like that."

She giggled again and glanced around. "I am an idiot…I don't know why I ran…"

"You tried running from your pain, it didn't work, so you sat in darkness surrounded by staff bot bodies," Pigpatch said in a slightly sarcastic tone. "Good thing it isn't human bodies."

She tensed at that thought, she definitely did not like that at all. "I would rather not envision that again. Already landed in a pit surrounded by human bodies, it is not pleasant, I can tell you that."

Pigpatch tilts his head slightly and realized that happened when she fell from the trash compactor. "Ah, I apologize for that. I had not realized. However, what I said was true. You're running from something you can't run from. All you can do is work with it, learn from it, and grow from it. Otherwise, you are always going to be in pain."

"Yeah…you're right," Saphira said thoughtfully. "You are such a big help, Pigpatch. Thank you so much." She moved to stand up, only to realize her legs were tingling. "Oh great, my legs fell asleep." She rubbed her legs gently with a chuckle. "Quite the timing for that to happen."

"Want me to help you?" Pigpatch asked gently and she nodded. "Good. You have the others very worried right now, though I've let them know you are safe. I'll bring you out to them." He moved his hands to her and gently picked her up, moving his legs to stand up. "Let's get you out of here."

He turned and carried her out back into the staff bot office. She smiled, she felt very stupid with how she has acted. She still felt shame, but it was not as strong as she had felt before. She definitely needed someone to talk with her the way Pigpatch did. He definitely had a different approach to this kind of talk than Mr Hippo, and it was a good thing. She definitely was glad to admit that he is like her dad, and call him that. Thankfully, it wasn't because of a near death experience for Pigpatch that made her call him that. Pigpatch loved her as genuinely as the others did. She was glad for that.

Her mind went to Freddy now and how she has been towards him. She felt very bad with how she has pushed him away. She had a lot of making up to do with him, and she didn't know if this whole thing will permenantly ruin their relationship. She hoped it did not. She wouldn't blame him if he would be cautious from here on. She would feel the same way too. She just couldn't believe how she has treated everyone.

Pigpatch carried her through Fazcade to the elevator. Saphira paid little attention to her surroundings for the time being. Once in the elevator, the music that played made her smile and hummed the tune gently, Pigpatch glanced at her and hummed along with her. She chuckled a little, she was happy to have company.

When the doors open, Saphira was a little startled when she saw all the other animatronics standing waiting for them. She let out a sigh and smiled at them, one they had not seen in so long. "Is Saphira okay?" Bonnie asked with concern as he looked at Saphira.

"Yes, her legs just fell asleep when we were talking," Pigpatch responded with a smile. "I think I might have gotten through to her too." He glanced at her as she shrugged at that. "Well, I think I have anyway. She's smiling again after all."

"It is nice to see it again, too," Mr Hippo said gently as he walked over to them. "My Pigpatch, you managed to get through to her when I couldn't." He leaned in to kiss him. "I love you."

"Ay, ay, ay!" Saphira exclaimed suddenly, raising her hands to stop them from kissing. "Not while I'm in Pigpatch's arms." The two animatronics chuckle softly as Saphira began to wiggle. "Let me down, please."

Pigpatch lowers Saphira to the ground and nudged her gently. "Alright, go and run along now. The parents want some alone time."

"Parents?" Monty widened his eyes and began laughing outloud. "Saphira accepted you being her daddy too, huh? Like, for real?" Pigpatch nodded with pride and placed his arm around Mr Hippo's shoulder as they both stand proudly. "Lucky girl." He glanced at Saphira and winked at her. "I hope they don't give you a headache, I'll make sure to keep them in line."

"I know you will." Saphira turned to Freddy, he was standing at the back behind the other animatronics. He still seemed very sad. She felt very sad at that, but she walked towards him and the animatronics move aside to let her through. "Why are you so glum, Freddy? You look like how I have been feeling." Freddy looked at her, though he did not smile. She stopped in front of him and thought of what to say. "I am really, really sorry Freddy. I have been…really stupid."

He blinked as he listened to her. "You have not. You have been through so much…and I look back on that night, and I realize I understand the reason why you thought we took Vanessa's side. I guess…I will be haunted by that look on your face, and your scream…I think we all can agree, we are all very sorry too."

"I know…" Saphira felt tears threatening to spill again. She took a deep breath and swallowed, trying to not let them out. "I have been through so much in such a short time. But…thank you." Freddy looked at her in surprise when she thanked them. "You didn't shut me out. You kept trying…you still loved me. And I kept pushing you all away." She turned to face the other animatronics sadly. "I am really, really sorry."

Chica smiled at her and walked up to her, placing her hands on her hips. "Does that mean this sad face you have had for a while is going away?"

"Um, I guess so," Saphira responded with a shrug. "Look, this doesn't mean I feel like my old self. I…am still processing everything. I mean, look at my eyes…" She gestured to her face and Chica's face softened. "I haven't had a good sleep in so long. I just want to go to bed right now…but…"

"As I said, you should stay here for the sake of sleep," Mr Hippo said to her gently. "If you have those nightmares at the apartment, but not here, you are only making yourself worse. You need proper rest."

"I can concur with Mr Hippo," Pigpatch added and walked towards her. "I am quite prepared to play a lullaby just to make you fall asleep. Actually, it would be my pleasure."

"Don't be taking the daddy role so seriously," Roxy said in a teasing tone. "She needs room to relax. Besides…I have to admit…" She looked at Saphira and smiled at her. "If those dark circles don't go away, even after a good sleep, I am going to be doing your makeup everyday."

She was surprised by the offer and chuckled at her. "Always on about appearances."

"Hey, appearances are important to get attention." She hip bops Happy Frog gently, making the animatronic giggle at her. "Ain't that right, Miss Froggy."

"They're important, but not everything." Happy Frog winked at the wolf before glancing at Saphira, the girl was grinning as she watch them interact. "I am slowly teaching her that what is on the inside is just as important as the outside. One can look so beautiful, but they are so ugly on the inside it eats them from the inside out."

"You aren't wrong about that." Saphira was pleased with that, Roxy has seemed less vocal about appearances in recent weeks. "However, it wouldn't hurt to cover these up it they don't go away."

"You are still beautiful, even if they linger," Bonnie said to her gently. She smiled at Bonnie, appreciating the compliment. "You have a natural beauty no one else can touch."

"She sure does," Freddy said gently, sending shivers down Saphira's spine. "I am glad she still agrees with that."

Pigpatch chuckled and stepped closer to Saphira. "I almost forgot to give this to you." His stomach hatch opens, Saphira was surprised and gasped when she saw a fluffy, faux quilt. It had pale, rainbow colours on it with the center of the quilt showing all the animatronics. "This is new, I managed to swipe it because I thought you could use some cheering up."

Saphira grabbed the quilt from the hatch and held it with a smile. It felt so soft and she hugged it close to her. "I love it! I might even help me sleep."

"That is the idea," Pigpatch said with a chuckle. "I knew you would love it."

"I definitely do!" Saphira jumped up and down excitedly about it and hugged Pigpatch. "Thank you so much!" She stepped back after giving him a hug and gazed at the other animatronics. "Too bad we can't have a party while Vanessa is here."

"No kidding, we would have the time of our lives if we could," Monty said with a huff. "But…what about in Monty Golf?"

"Vanessa would still see it," Saphira said as she placed her hands on her hips. "I am afraid we can't."

"It is sad we can't," Foxette said softly while thinking of places they could have a party. "However, I suggest we save it for your birthday."

"Oh please, don't remind me." Saphira still hated thinking about her birthday. Still, she was excited for it this year, it still made her grimace since she didn't have a big party for her birthday. "The Fourth of July is more exciting."

"Maybe. But we don't think so." Foxy waved his finger around playfully as he spoke. "Alright, me hearties, time to go back home me think. Standin' out here like this…that lass is probably lookin' at us right now."

He was probably right. But Saphira did not care. She turned to Freddy. "He's right. But…would you like to come to the office?"

Freddy's face lit up slightly when she asked the question. "Are you sure it will be alright?"

She nodded. "She should be asleep when she goes to the office." Saphira looked at Pigpatch in surprise when he spoke, he had his arms folded and she rolled her eyes. "Are you gonna help her sleep?"

"Actually…I think we need to talk. That is all we need to do." Talk? Saphira did not like hearing that from Freddy and that made her nervous. "In any case, I am glad you seem more like yourself Saphira."

She smiled at him and gasped when she felt Chica suddenly hug her, lifting her from the ground when she did so. "Heh, heh! My little sister is back! Yay! We should totally disarm the camera in my room for a girl's party!"

"That sounds great!" Saphira responded happily. "Can you put me down now?"

Chica squealed and spun her around, the movement made Saphira's stomach twist rather suddenly. "YAY! We might have a party!"

Saphira whimpered loudly and tried squirming from Chica's grasp. "Let me go, Chica."

"Chica, you should drop her," Pigpatch said, placing a hand on her shoulder to stop her from spinning around.

"Why? She is…" Chica gasped when Saphira shoved her arms off the girl's body. Saphira dropped to the ground and dashed away. "Oh no, not again! Where are you…" She paused in shock when she saw what happened next. "Oh."

Saphira managed to reach a trash can before she heaved into it. She gripped the side of the bin tightly as she vomitted into the trash. She groaned, tears fell from the heaving and wipes her eyes clear of it once she calmed down. She felt Mr Hippo's hand on her back and she straightened up, breathing heavily and looking at him sadly.

"Feel better?" He asked curiously. "I apologize that Chica might have caused it."

"I am SO sorry!" Chica said apologetically. "I get so excited, I can't control myself sometimes. I am so sorry. I won't do that again unless you say it is okay."

"It's fine…I don't think it was you…it just happened." Saphira placed a hand on her stomach and closed her eyes for a moment. "I just hope that wasn't morning sickness."

"Huh? It isn't morning?" Monty frowned in confusion and Saphira smirked slightly, she knew they would not understand. "Am I missing something?"

Saphira turned to face the bots, rubbing her neck a little as she could feel the burning feeling in her throat. "Morning sickness is literally a term used for a woman going through the nausea that comes from being pregnant."

Freddy's eyes glanced down to Saphira's stomach and frowned. He was angry that the virus might have got what he wanted. "Have you confirmed your suspicions?"

"I've been trying to, everything has come up negative. But…" She glanced at her stomach for a moment and shakes her head. "We will know. I suppose I should do a 101 on pregnancy symptoms…can't wait to explain birth."

The animatronics all glance at each other. The way Saphira said it made it sound like something to dread. Especially when she mentioned birth. Saphira hoped her nausea was just caused because Chica spun her around quickly, and not for another reason. But, she had that sinking feeling that it was likely the reason.

"Well…maybe you should tell us that some other time," Mr Hippo suggests with a smile. "When you're not as tired. Maybe Darren could help with that."

"No, he can't. He is not able to get pregnant, so…he won't know." Saphira would invite Darren to help with the explanation, but she would prefer it coming from her anyway. "Getting it from the one who might be pregnant…that is a lot better I think."

The animatronics decide not to argue with this. "Well, whatever the case. Pigpatch is correct, you should go and get some sleep." Mr Hippo smiled at her before thinking suddenly. "Or…Freddy, why don't you take Saphira to the Bakery to get something sweet."

"That sounds like a great idea," Saphira said in a sarcastic tone. "I totally feel like eating after I just vomitted. I am going back to the office." She turned to Freddy with a smile. "Will you come with me? You said we should talk."

Freddy smiled at her and extended his hand to her, she gladly took it. "Of course. And we will skip the sweets for now. Maybe later if you feel better."

Saphira smiled and nodded to him. "I would like that. I will let you know if I would have a cake."

Freddy smiled at her and walked with her to head back to the bottom floor of the atrium. Saphira was feeling very happy, she felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders. However, she felt nervous on whatever Freddy wanted to talk to her about. She worried that he wanted to break off their relationship. She hoped not. Plus, now that she has felt some nausea, she felt as thought it might have been a confirmation about a pregnancy…though she was not entirely sure on that of course. She considered doing another pregnancy test, but given the record she has had with them recently, she wasn't sure it would even work. For now, she could only wait and see. But, her mind was mostly on Freddy at the moment and what he wanted to discuss. Her heart was racing as they approach the door to her office, but she felt they were being watched. She glanced around curiously, she didn't see anyone, but she still got that feeling. She ignored it as Freddy opened the purple door into the grey hallway towards the elevator, Saphira gulped a little as she stepped inside, not knowing what was going to happen.
