Waking up slowly, Saphira felt like she was on cloud nine right now. Her eyes flutter and she could hear someone talking. She felt the warmth of someone familiar enveloped around her body. She moaned softly and stretched her body with a yawn. An arm wrapped around her and she pressed her body against the strong, warm chest behind her. She rolled and opened her eyes, she smiled when she saw Freddy looking back at her.

"Morning, super star," He said to her in a gentle tone, leaning down to kiss the side of her forehead. "I hope you slept very well. You didn't wake at all during the night."

She nodded groggily. "I slept very well. I had no nightmare, it was really nice."

"I am glad you had a good sleep." Saphira was startled when she heard Darren's voice and turned to look at him with wide eyes. "However, Freddy needs to get up and start the day. We have been open for an hour and people are asking for him."

Saphira was almost worried that she was naked, but she realized she was wearing pajamas, which was a relief. "Right…I guess I have to let him go."

Darren nodded, his arms were folded and he was frowning at both of them. "Look, I am glad you finally worked things out, but you are aware you can't have Freddy stay with you all the time. Guests come first during the day."

"Yeah, yeah…I know." Saphira kissed Freddy before shuffling to let him off. Though as she sat up, she suddenly felt dizzy and groaned, placing a hand to her forehead. "Ugh, sat up too fast."

Freddy looked at Saphira with concern. "Are you okay?"

She nodded and waved at him to go. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Go, you're late for work."

Reluctant to leave, Freddy got off the bed and walked towards the door to Rockstar Row. Saphira watched him leave, feeling a small sense of loneliness fill her heart. She knew he had to go, she couldn't really keep him. She knew it was selfish, though, she felt like it was a right she had at the moment. She looked at Darren who looked at her, he seemed to have a disappointed expression on his face.

She frowned at him, his arms were still folded. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"You do know that if you were not pregnant before, you are most likely pregnant now?" He questioned, making her roll her eyes. "I know you believe you are, but…"

"I threw up last night," Saphira interrupted, making Darren widen his eyes in shock. "It might have been brought on because Chica spun me around, but I threw up. Normally I would not have. I don't feel nauseous now, but…" She placed a hand on her stomach thoughtfully. "I do believe I am pregnant unfortunately."

Darren stared at her in shock. "Oh…well…um, I am sorry for insinuating…though, I guess I worry that it was possible. Especially as when I saw Freddy laying next to you when I came to the office looking for him, I knew what you both had done last night."

"I know it was obvious." Saphira sighed deeply, rubbing her forehead. She moved to sit up again, grimacing a little. "I still feel dizzy…might be another sign…"

"I suppose the symptoms are just showing their ugly heads now," Darren said softly, walking over to the soda machine to fill a cup with water. "Will you tell the animatronics what to expect? Or…should I?"

"It is better that I tell them. I think the details about the birth will be more shocking than morning sickness, mood swings and crazy cravings." Saphira did worry about that though. She wouldn't be able to go to a hospital, not with a baby that had living metal in it. "Honestly…it is scaring me a lot more than the virus and Springtrap. How can someone birth something mixed with flesh and metal?"

Darren shrugged, he had no idea on that one. "I would say someone strong…but…I believe you can do it."

"What if the baby is born with no soul and needs Springtrap to literally download his mind into it for it to be alive?" Saphira asked, shaking her head in despair.

He walked over to her with the cup and held it out to her, Saphira accepted it and began drinking slowly. "Honestly, I cannot answer that. After all, you were not made pregnant by natural means, which means that the child could have been grown in a tube and placed into you. Or…he found out some other way to make you pregnant."

Saphira sighed as she gulped down the water. "I hope you can excuse me for asking these kinds of questions. I don't think I can really ask them to an animatronic. They are not familiar with pregnancy like we are."

"I don't mind at all. I mean, you and I have grown pretty close like brother and sister really." Darren smiled at her as he placed a hand on her arm gently. "And I feel protective of you. I wish I could protect you from this danger, but…I will do what I can. I'll probably have to look into getting used to witnessing births because you'll need human help when it comes."

"That is if I don't miscarry, since this child is not natural really." Saphira did worry a lot about that. "I will have to tell the animatronics about that too…not something I want to do…but better than scaring them if it happens."

Darren grimaced, he knew that was something no one wanted to talk about. But the animatronics did need to know about it if it did happen. "I can tell them if you don't feel comfortable. I know you feel it should come from you, but that might be better coming from me."

Saphira nodded, he was right. "Yeah…you should tell them. I am not comfortable with that kind of discussion. I guess I better have some food." She moved to slide off the bed, thankfully the dizziness had gone away, but she was still careful about it. "You should go and continue your work, I'll probably go back to bed after I've eaten. I still feel tired."

"Very well. Take it easy Saphira." Darren was worried about her, but he had work to do and he couldn't be with Saphira all day as well.

She heard him walk to the elevator and leave as she decided to cook up some eggs and make toast, she didn't feel like anything else. She thought about coffee, but she went with juice instead. As she cooked the eggs, she breathed in the aroma with a smile, the smell of the eggs seemed really good. Like, really, really good. Maybe she was just really hungry, but it could also be because she was pregnant. Nonetheless, she ate her breakfast without any issue. She checked the security cameras out of curiosity before she went back to bed to sleep more before her shift later that night. She considered making up something to use to explain what the animatronics should expect from her pregnancy, but decided it was not necessary.

When she did wake up, it was three hours before her shift starts. She grimaced when she felt a wave of nausea washing over her. She stood up from the bed and ran to the bathroom to heave into the toilet. Saphira gripped the sides of the porcelain, her eyes fill with tears as she forced whatever contents she had in her stomach into the toilet. She leaned back once the heaving stopped and she breathed heavily, she groaned a little and sniffled. She already hated the nausea, but she hated the fear she was feeling the most.

She stayed in the bathroom for a while until she was sure the nausea was gone. She flushed the toilet and washed her face, she felt a lot better, though she did worry about it coming back later. She sighed and left the bathroom to get changed into her uniform and thought about how she would show the animatronics what to expect from her during the pregnancy. She knew it would be a lot for them to take in, but she had to do it.

It took her the three hours to get it all prepared, she guessed that there will be some maintenance tonight which was great since she could have all the animatronics down in Parts and Service to speak with them. It would not look so suspicious. However, she realized that she would eventually not be able to do the maintenance on the animatronics. Her stomach would be the way, and her back probably would have a lot to say too.

She hummed and lifted her wrist, pressing buttons on the Fazwatch. "Darren, could I talk to you for a moment?"

"Of course, I was in the middle of reading some midwife stuff," Darren responded, she noticed his voice sounded slightly muffled and guessed he must have been eating. "What is on your mind?"

"I just realized that…um…I might not be able to do any sort of maintenance or upgrades to the animatronics. You know, with a big belly and a sore back and all…" Saphira knew what she would be asking, but she didn't trust Vanessa.

"Oh yeah…I didn't even think of that. Um…I guess you are not going to have Vanessa help you…ohhh, you want to ask me to learn right?"

"If that is not too much trouble. I can teach you." Saphira's tone sounded very nervous as she spoke. "Plus…if, for some reason, my nausea gets too bad I also won't be able to do it. I have no idea what smells are going to set it off."

"Right…I suppose we will tell the animatronics this. Um…maybe I should start learning tonight. I imagine you had another morning sickness spell tonight, you don't need to tell me." Darren sighed deeply, he sounded tired. "Well, I'll just have to reschedule a few things for myself. It will be fun to learn from the expert."

"I really, really appreciate it, Darren. You have no idea how much you are helping right now." Saphira was relieved that he agreed. She had worried he would refuse, but it was great. "Oh, and just as a warning, once the maintenance is done…I'll be explaining what to expect from the pregnancy…and the risks…including miscarriage…"

"Ah, well. I'll just sit and listen to that." Darren chuckled softly. "I just hope they don't ask how babies are made naturally. I don't think we need to do the Birds And The Bees talk with them."

She giggled softly at him. "We sort of did already…but you're right. Besides…maybe that will be a talk for another time…"

"Another time?" Darren was surprised she said that. However, he realized why. "Oh, does that mean…you actually want to have a baby with Freddy?"

"I don't know…to be honest…I am glad that baby I might be carrying isn't his…hell, I don't even know if it is mine and I could just be a surrogate…" That thought alone upset her, but Saphira was not sure if her DNA was even used. "Because if something does happen…I won't feel guilty…"

He was silent for a few minutes, not believing what she had said. "I suppose…that is a bonus…but the child is still…well, innocent. You might want to tell yourself otherwise because of what has happened to you…but we can blame only one here."

"Yeah, I know…I guess…I am not sure if I will get attached to the child yet. I am scared to do so at the moment." Saphira took a deep breath and sighed loudly. "I am sorry if I sound…cruel…"

"To be honest, it is understandable. It is the early stages, and to be honest, we don't know if it will be a normal pregnancy. It could be nine months, or shorter or longer…" She shuddered, that thought had come across her mind too. "I guess it depends on how soon he wants his new body."

"More likely he wants it grown properly…so I doubt he would rush it. It has taken him since the eighty's to perfect this plan, so I suppose it makes sense." Saphira placed a hand on her stomach, she knew she could be in for a very long ride. "There is no way I am going to ask him."

"I think we will know. He will probably come and check to make sure you're caring for it properly. And that will probably happen more often closer to the birth." Darren was probably right, though…Saphira had to plan on how to hide from him. She did not want to be literally giving birth with Springtrap between her legs to catch the baby. "But, let us not think about that."

Saphira could only think about that. She realized as well, going back to the apartment was likely her only chance at working on an anti-virus to kill the virus in the system. "It is probably all I am going to think about…"

"No room for Freddy?" Darren teased, making Saphira huff response and make him chuckle at her. "I knew it, you will still think about him. What a lucky animatronic."

"Oh, shut up," Saphira responded in a sarcastic tone. "My shift has started anyway, I better get to my usual duties. I'll let you know when I will be heading to Parts and Service, I will meet you there."

"Okay. I look forward to it. At least maintenance is easy stuff." She smiled slightly as she knew Darren had no idea. "I doubt I will be good like you though…I bet when you can't do the maintenance, you'll be breathing down my neck."

"Probably…I expect Mr Hippo to keep me back though. He and Pigpatch are both protective of me."

"What can you expect? They're practically your dads now. I am honestly not even sure why they adopted that, but it suits them honestly. If I were honest, I pictured Freddy as a father figure more than those two." Saphira widened her eyes at Darren's admittance. That had not crossed her mind much. "I suppose you haven't seen him interact with the kids. He is so good with them. So, you can be assured he'd be a great dad if you did have a kid with him."

She glanced at the monitors, her eyes were quick to look at Freddy's room to see him. She frowned a little. "Hold up…" She saw Freddy's head and eyes twitching, something was wrong. "Something's wrong with Freddy. He looks like he's seizuring or something."

"Huh? That is not good. Get one of the other animatronics to help you. I'm on my way." Darren cuts off communication and Saphira jumped form her seat.

She pressed buttons on her Fazwatch to reach Bonnie. "Hey Bonnie, are you in your room?"

"I've just arrived. What is the matter?" Bonnie could hear Saphira running, and it worried him.

"Come to Freddy's room. Something is wrong with him."

"Oh no…" Bonnie cut off communication as soon as he said that.

Saphira rushed out into Rockstar Row and she ran towards Freddy's room. She was relieved no guests were standing in the hallway, and she saw Bonnie and Monty running towards her. She gestured to the room and ran to the door. She let out a scream of shock when she saw Freddy dropping to his knees in front of her. He was holding his head and grimacing, his eyes would glow and dim like he was having trouble concentrating.

"Freddy?" He looked up when she said his name and she rushed over to him. "What's wrong?"

He groaned and rubbed his head with his hand. "I'm…experiencing a malfunction…"

Bonnie walked over to the window and closed the curtains. "Alright Freddy, let's get you to Parts and Service. This isn't like you to have a malfunction."

Saphira watched Bonnie and Monty pull Freddy to his feet, the bot gasped and his step faltered, it almost resembled weak legs. "Shit…" She cursed and shakes her head. "I'll need special tools for this…alright…um…please don't tell this is a result of skipping maintenance last night?"

Monty and Bonnie glance at each other. "No, I don't believe so," Bonnie responded as they walk through the back door of the room to take Freddy to the elevator. "No one has admitted to anything."

Saphira hoped that it was because no one actually needed maintenance. "What about tonight? Aside from Freddy."

"I do…" Bonnie gestured to his ears and Saphira spotted a large pinata piece stuck between one of the ear joints. "That and, um…my hip is a little strange when I walk. I think Roxy does, Foxette does…aaaaannnnddd…Happy Frog maybe? She complained about something earlier."

"Right…but first thing's first." Saphira stepped into the elevator with the bots. "Oh, hey Darren."

The man looked at them in surprise and ran to the elevator. "Mind if I join you?"

"Not at all." She smiled at him before flinching as Freddy's body shuddered noisily. It was scaring her. "Has this happened before, Darren?"

He looked at Freddy sadly. "Only once. The system reacts like this when the animatronics are alerted to danger to kids. I think it is because some of the old programming of previous animatronics clash with the current programming. You see, at one of the older locations animatronics actively protected guests. It resulted in one person losing their frontal lobe."

Saphira grimaced at that. "I see…so it causes the system to malfunction because it is literally battling itself…why didn't it get removed?"

"I am not sure. I haven't seen their system itself…maybe Cliffton couldn't remove it. I am not sure…but you have a gift with fixing what he couldn't. I am sure you'll figure it out." Darren smiled at her as she looked at Freddy with a worried expression. "He'll be fine. It happened only once before and he was back in prime condition the following day."

"But…what could have set the system off?" Saphira asked with a frown. "He was in his room when it happened. And…I don't think he would even know."

"I wish I knew that…" Darren rubbed the back of his neck and glanced up at Monty and Bonnie. "Did either of you see anything odd?"

They shake their heads and the elevator came to a stop. "Sadly, no. However, I am somewhat glad. If what you described is what is happening to Freddy now, I could be like him too." Bonnie glanced at Freddy with a concerned frown and stepped out when the doors open. "Alright, let's get you into the cylinder. Saphira will take care of you."

"By the way, shouldn't you be going to make a report, Darren?" Monty asked curiously, seemingly confused why the man was with them.

"Uh, well…Saphira and I were going to talk to you about that," Darren said cautiously, getting surprised expressions from both animatronics. "But…we will wait until the maintenance is over."

"No." Saphira sighed deeply. "Look, I am pregnant, which means eventually I will be unable to do the maintenance without being uncomfortable. And believe me, you will hear about it. So…I need someone to help. I trust Darren, so, I'll be teaching him how to maintain you and upgrade you before I get to the point I can't do anything."

"But…that seems…" Bonnie wasn't sure what to think, he didn't know if he should believe it. "Isn't pregnancy an excuse?"

Darren chuckled softly. "I would never say that to a pregnant woman if I were you."

"Why?" The rabbit animatronic frowned curiously.

"All will be explained." Saphira smiled at him as they enter Parts and Service. "Right now, I want to ensure Freddy is okay."

The bots nod, they do seem hesitant about it though. Saphira knew she would have to go back to the office to retrieve what she has written. She might get Darren to grab it for her, but her focus was on Freddy. She got the cylinder prepared for him, his twitching worried her that he might accidentally hurt her. He was still having trouble focusing, it worried her. She did not know what Cliff had done previously, but she would figure out how to relax his system.

Once the cylinder was open, Monty and Bonnie placed Freddy onto the chair. They were hesitant to leave Saphira alone, but Saphira insisted and she grabbed down a special monitor to connect with Freddy. She grabbed three lines and connected them into connections in his neck, flinching back a few times when his body and neck twitched. She ran a scan of his system to find it was overriding, and it had indeed detected danger.

"Alright…Freddy…" She turned to look at him and he glanced at her to listen. "Listen, your system is overriding. I am going to force it into Rest Mode so you can reboot. I am sure you know that means I am not deactivating you, but it will allow me to relax your system."

Freddy's mouth twitched, trying to smile at her. "I-I-I t-t-trust y-y-you," He said in a very glitchy voice.

She nodded and looked at the monitor, pressing a few buttons to allow her to force his system into Rest Mode. It took a second and Freddy's body relaxed slightly, it still twitched but she was glad for that. She saw the system was already relaxing. She typed on the monitor to locate the alert and remove it from the system while looking for someway to prevent this error from occuring. She saw she couldn't from here, but from their main system hub, she knew she probably could do that. Once the error was gone, she gave the system a brief reboot, thankfully he will not lose any of his memories. It would just wipe the system of any errors that might have caused him to nearly collapse.

Saphira did wonder who was in Rockstar Row. He saw someone or something, it made him nearly collapse and go offline. She was sure being in his room and speaking to him somehow kept Freddy from going offline, but she wasn't sure. She did some more on the console to see if there were other hidden errors, and she couldn't find anything. However, she did another thorough scan of the system, and it came up clean. She was relieved.

She smiled as she allowed for his system to online again, she looked at his closed eyes and watched as they open, blinking and turning to look at her. "Thank you, super star. I feel much better. I don't like that system error, I wish it was gone."

"I am going to figure that out for you," Saphira reassured him with a smile, removing the connections from Freddy and pushed up the console. "I think it will be a little difficult, but I will figure it out."

"I know you will, super star." Freddy smiled at her and moved his hand over hers. "You are smart, so I know you will."

She blushed slightly and took a deep breath. "I need to scan you for any other errors now." He blinked in surprise. "You might not feel like you need any…but after falling to your knees like that, I just got to make sure. Thankfully the casing's strong enough to not get a dent in them."

"Very well." Freddy relaxed and looked out to Darren. "Should he not be in here? I overheard you telling Bonnie and Monty that he will be learning to maintain us due to your…um…" He glanced down at her stomach briefly, hesitating to say the word. She felt sad, this was hard on Freddy too. Especially now he knew the whole story. "You know…I don't like saying it anymore."

"Well…" Saphira shrugged with a smile. "I can show him with the others. I want to take care of you alone."

He smiled at her as she grabbed down the usual console to begin scanning. "I am also very, very curious about this talk we are going to have about it too. Though, I feel you kind of covered it. Mood swings, nausea and cravings…I feel like you covered it."

She snorted in amusement and giggled. "I might have briefly went over some of the things…buuuut…you have no idea. I am just glad that the nausea isn't horrible right now."

"You were nauseous again?" Freddy asked curiously and she nodded as she looked at the console. "Oh…I am sorry I left you alone to deal with it."

"I would prefer you didn't see me like that. It isn't pretty, not for anyone." Saphira knew Freddy would still comfort her, but she also knew the animatronics hated vomit.

Freddy didn't argue. He still felt he should be there for her, though he knew she wouldn't tell him everytime she got sick. It would have to be when he is there in the moment. Though, Freddy wasn't thrilled about it either. But, he has observed that humans definitely don't enjoy it. The force of heaving anything out of their mouths in that horrid way clearly hurt with the tears they had in their eyes when it happens. At least Saphira didn't throw up on them or the carpet…though…Freddy did worry that would happen, although if pregnancy caused that symptom, he wouldn't blame her. He didn't know if he looked forward to learning more about what would happen during her pregnancy. And he was upset she might not be able to continue maintaining them at some point during her pregnancy, however, Freddy did suspect he and everyone else would learn why that was the case. After all, pregnancy was already seemed to be a very delicate thing. Especially with how Darren has been towards Saphira.
