Hello readers! I am off on a well-deserved holiday for a week. Do not worry, I will return to post more chapters. Please, feel free to reread what has been written so far and comment. I enjoy seeing what my readers think of my stories so far.
Saphira and Chica walk side-by-side as they made their way to Parts and Service. Saphira's shift had finally started, and she had decided to fix Chica's beak straight away. She didn't want to wait for Darren because Chica was so upset. The bot had her hands clasped together nervously, she genuinely hated how she looked right now. At least it would be made right soon. She had not yet tried to contact Freddy, though he was still busy with some guests at the moment. As they reach Parts and Service, Saphira walked over to the console to start of the cylinder. Chica danced on her feet impatiently as she waited for Saphira to set it up, the bot caressed her beak wishing for it to be put back on.
Once the log was set up and the door opened, Saphira looked at Chica with a smile. "Alright, let's get your beak fixed."
Chica trots onto the cylinder and sat on the chair. "Do you think you will be able to prevent it from happening again?"
"I should do." Saphira walked into the cylinder and grabbed down the console to run the scan of Chica's body. "Though, if I remember correctly, the beaks for the older Chica designs were also able to come off. I don't know why that was continued with the Glamrock animatronics."
"It also hurts," Chica said, touching her face a little and looking at Saphira. "Will you turn off the pain when you work on the beak."
"Of course. I'm not going to be that stupid and not do that." She smiled as the scan was complete and she pressed buttons to removed the facial casings. "Alright, this should not take me long."
Chica was happy and she relaxed as best as she could. Saphira grabbed out her small flashlight and turned it on before grabbing down the right tools. She hummed softly as she began by working on the wiring to shut off the pain for Chica, she knew not all could be shut off since Chica could feel the pain within the beak too. But, she could get most of it. When that was done, Saphira began by removing the snapped joints of the animatronic's face so she could replace them. It was a slow task as the joints were small.
Though fifteen minutes into her task, both Saphira and Chica were startled when Saphira's Fazwatch goes off. "Evening, Saphira!" Monty's voice filled the cylinder in a happy tone. "I hope you are well. Today has been such a great day! I've spent most of my day..."
"Monty, I hate to interrupt, but I'm a little busy at the moment," Saphira said with a stern voice. "I'm in Parts and Service with Chica."
Monty huffed in irritation when he heard Saphira tell him that. "What is she doing in there? There are still so many guests!"
"Her beak fell off," Saphira explained calmly. "Which scared some guests, so now I'm working on fixing that problem. And it is an issue that doesn't need Darren at the moment."
"Oh...right. Sorry, I guess I interrupted your work." Monty let out a light chuckle. "Alright, I'm on my way to the birthday rooms anyway. I just wanted to check in and see how you were."
"You can do that later, Monty," Saphira said softly, glancing at the time on her Fazwatch. "There is a few hours left anyway. Once I'm done, I am needing to so my security rounds."
"Alright, I will wait to ask again. See you soon, punk."
Saphira and Chica chuckle softly, it was a surprise for the gator to reach out to her while he was still busy. They expected Freddy to do it, but it seems he was waiting until he is no longer busy as well. Saphira hoped it would stay that way. Saphira turned her focus back to Chica.
She held the beak, looking into it to see it also needed the connections replaced so it could hold in the joints properly. Saphira realizes it might take a little longer than expected since it was a delicate task. Chica winced as she felt some of the pain, though she did not flinch. She knew Saphira would do a good job.
With the connections and joints replaced, the wire connected to Chica's beak was the next to inspect. Especially since it was the reason why it was still connected to Chica's face. Saphira was glad there appeared to be no damage or stress from the wire, it just needed to be realigned properly. It was not too difficult, but she grabbed some clamps to hold the wire to the endo frame so if Chica's beak was to get loose again, then it would not be hanging down and should keep the beak on face. With that, she carefully reconnected the beak.
She tugged on the beak gently to feel if it was loose, it felt quite secure and she began inspecting the smaller, delicate wires that were needed to move Chica's beak and her the connections to the scent receptor. She shifted closer to the animatronic so she could work on the wiring better and she was prepared to replace any if needed.
Her inspection took thirty minutes before she felt satisfied and reattached wiring in Chica's face. She no longer felt the pain she had before, which the animatronic was grateful for. Saphira stepped back to put the casings back on and to run through the diagnostic process. As she did that, her stomach began to twist again.
"Shit...not now..." Saphira cursed as she rubbed her stomach with a frown.
Chics looked at Saphira curiously when she overheard her and watched her curiously. Her face turned sad as she realized that Saphira was feeling nauseous at the moment. "We are almost done. My beak feels good as new, so hopefully your stomach will let you finish the diagnostic."
Saphira was hoping for that too. She said nothing as she feared opening her mouth would cause to suddenly throw up. With the diagnostic process complete, she walked out of the cylinder to finish the log. She kept herself focused while trying to ignore the somersaults in her stomach.
Chica walked out, Saphira could hear the animatronic moving her beak which was a good thing. "Thank you so much, Saphira!" She said happily. "I feel like I could go back into the crowd and give out cheers. I wish I could hug you..." Saphira turned away from the log and gave her a knowing look. Chica giggled softly. "I know, I know, I don't want to risk you vomiting all over my body. Still, I am so..."
Chica didn't get to finish her sentence as Saphira bolts out of Parts and Service towards the office. The animatronic followed her as seeing her sick was just sad to her. Chica heard the sound of heaving from the bathroom when she arrived in the office. She walked into the bathroom to find Saphira on her knees, hunched over the toilet and heaving heavily.
Chica walked over and dropped to one knee, placing a hand on the girl's back to run gently. "Let it all out, Saphira. I imagine it feels so much better when the stomach is no longer heaving so much."
Saphira looked at Chica as she took deep breaths. "You have no idea. And now, my senses have decided to dislike the smell of pizza." Chica looked at Saphira in surprise. "And your beak smelt a bit like pizza...that might have set it off. Though I'm not sure half the time."
"Hmm, I will be mindful. I guess I will have to stop eating pizza for a while until you say you can handle the smell." Chica would miss pizza, but she would leave it until Saphira was fine around it again. "Hopefully, your sense of smell doesn't change too much."
Saphira nodded in agreement. "The last thing I need is for things that I smell here regularly to become something that makes me sick. So I agree with you." She pulled the toilet lid down and flushed it, standing up slowly with a sigh. "I guess I better start my rounds and find out if anyone else needs some maintenance."
Chica nodded, standing up as she watched Saphira walk over to the vanity to splash water on her face. Once she felt better and dried her face, Saphira walked into the office over to the monitors to see if there were any issues. She personally hoped that Vanessa could handle it as she really didn't want to deal with guests right now. As she looked through the monitors, she did see the woman dealing with a group of people at the moment, which was a relief to Saphira. She hummed softly as she looked through the monitors.
Just as she did so, the monitors suddenly turn black and white static filled the screens. "What the…" Saphira frowned as she glared at the screens. She clenched her hands and began typing on the computer to try and clear it, only for the computer to go black and an image of a ghostly man in a bunny costume appeared, waving back at her. She growled and punched the desk angrily. "Get lost Glitchtrap."
"Glitchtrap?" Saphira and Chica gasp, turning to see the door to Parts and Service open, Chica widened her eyes in horror as she saw who was standing there. "You know, I never really thought of a name for my virus self in the system. Though I must say, Glitchtrap rings a very good tone. Thank you, Saphira."
She stared back with wide eyes as Springtrap stepped inside with a light limp in his step, Chica moved in front of Saphira defensively. "What do you want?"
"Oh, I just came to see the progress," Springtrap responded casually with a shrug. Multiple nightmare bots roll in behind him, looking at Chica and Saphira as they await his order. "It has been a month, and I want to make sure it was successful."
Saphira stood up from her chair and stepped in front of Chica, straightening her back to try and show no fear to the madman. "How about I let you know. It is successful. I know it has been successful…"
Springtrap chuckled in a low, cold tone which interrupted Saphira. "Oh, dear, sweet, Saphira. I know you are carrying. You have been a little sick here and there it would seem. And by the looks of things, you've lost a little weight."
"Yeah, well…that's what happens when there is a spawn growing within you," Saphira responded snidely, grimacing in disgust and sadness as she thought about what happened.
The corpse animatronic just laughed gently at her. "I suppose so. Now…would you be so kind to come with me?" Chica stepped in front of Saphira, Springtrap narrowed his eyes at her. "I would move out of the chicken."
"You stay away from her!" Chica growled at Springtrap, pointing an accusing finger at him. "You have already caused so much! Can't you just leave her alone?"
"I need to make sure it is progressing as it should be," He smirked at her before gesturing for Saphira to step forward. "Don't make this harder than it should be. Stress is not good for you, my dear."
Saphira did not want Chica to get hurt. She took a deep breath and placed a hand on Chica's arm. "I don't want you to get hurt, we just fixed that beak. You don't need anything else broken."
Chica looked at her with an astonished expression. "But…he's a monster!"
"Listen to her, Glamrock Chica," Springtrap mocked, smiling as he knew that Saphira was cooperating for the time being. "Don't make me do damage that even she can't repair. I designed you after all."
The animatronic shuddered fearfully, she looked at Saphira and saw the fear in the girl's eyes. She looked back at Springtrap with a frown. "Very well…but I will accompany."
Saphira looked at Chica in surprise. "No…I-I-I don't think he'll let you."
"I am not going to let her go by herself," Chica continued, ignoring Saphira's words as she glared at Springtrap. "After all…if she happens to get sick, she needs someone she knows to comfort her."
Saphira was tense, she would love Chica to go with her, but she had no idea if Chica would even allow her to be there. "Very well." She looked at Springtrap in surprise. "However, any funny business, and I will not hesitate to replace your endo with a new one. One who will listen to her master very closely."
"Understood." Chica took Saphira's hand gently, squeezing it to reassure her gently before speaking again. "Lead the way."
"You first," Springtrap gestured to the door, standing aside and the bots rolling aside to give them a path to walk through.
Saphira glanced back at the monitors with worry as she and Chica walk together quietly. She did not know if Chica has already alerted the other animatronics about this, though she somewhat hoped not. Mostly because she did want anything bad to happen at the moment. She leaned against Chica as they walked, it felt a little strange since she was used to doing that with Freddy, but she was scared at the moment.
As they walked back to Parts and Service, Springtrap and the bots follow behind them, though a couple bots roll ahead to lead the way, which was somewhat comforting, but Saphira did not relax, not one bit. They walk through Parts and Service to head to the hallway towards the warehouse. Saphira shuddered a little and let out a whimper as she gazed down the hallway again, she no good memories there.
Chica rubbed the bag of her hand gently, looking at her with a confident expression. "You will be okay, Saphira," She said to her gently. "We will be back out on the floor in no time."
Saphira nodded, though she did not look up at the animatronic and she did not smile. She trembled as they walk towards the roller doors that rise as the nightmare bots roll ahead of them. She almost had a heart attack of what she saw on the other side. Near completed endos of each animatronic, they were looking back at them with glaring red eyes, except for the Freddy endo.
"I thought Mr Hippo destroyed them," Chica said as she looked back at the endos fearfully.
Springtrap chuckled, the chuckle echos through the hallway. "You did not think that they were just some of other endos I had? You are not very smart are you?"
Chica frowned slightly, she did not respond to him as they keep following the nightmare bots through the dark hallways. Now she was able to look around the warehouse properly, Chica was not fond of it at all. She could definitely see why Saphira hated this area. If Saphira had it her way, she would put more lights and cameras down here and add colour, it desperately needed it. Chica glanced around the hallways as they walk, mostly so she could memorize it in case she ever needed to come back down here to help Saphira, she hoped that would not happen of course. Though, now she has seen the very being that has been orchastrating everything, she knew that he was not to be trifled with.
However, it was strange to gaze upon the person who designed her. Chica was glad she did not turn out like him, and she was the fun, loving character that she is. She knew she would never be like him. The endos walked behind them slowly, their eyes kept a close eye on their movements, and Saphira knew they were there in case Chica did something stupid.
The nightmare bots stop by a room and open it, a dim blue light glowed on the door. Saphira swallowed nervously, glancing up at Chica. "Make sure there is a bucket or something nearly."
"Of course. I doubt Springtrap would appreciate projectile vomit over himself or the bots." Chica walked with Saphira to the room. "If there is a bucket available."
"There is. Though, given I assume you were sick just before, you should be fine." Saphira almost wanted to glare at Springtrap since she could get nausea at anytime. Though, she bit her tongue. "Make yourself comfortable. I made sure this room will be adequate, especially when you are in labor."
Saphira felt her stomach flip at that, she did not want to give birth somewhere like this. As she and Chica step inside the room, it was clear it was a medical room. There was a lot of equipment here, including what appeared to be an incubator for babies if she happened to give birth prematurely. Saphira shuddered, clutching Chica's arm nervously.
Chica looked down at Saphira kindly, she was surprised as well by everything in the room, but there was no room for hesitancy. "I'll be right beside you," She whispered to her gently, patting her shoulder and gesturing to the bed. "It will be over as quickly as possible, I promise."
Saphira nodded to her nervously as she walked towards the bed with Chica. The animatronic kept rubbing the back of her hand to try and keep her as comforted as possible as she knew this was a very stressful time. She helped Saphira onto the bed and kept holding her hand once Saphira was laying down. Saphira did silently admit to the bed being very comfortable, but she was fair from relaxed.
"Good girl." Springtrap smiled as he moved to the other side of the bed while Chica frowned at him. "This isn't so bad, is it?" Saphira said nothing as she waited for what he wanted to do. "Lift your shirt, let's see how the fetus is growing."
Saphira nervously pulled her shirt up and glanced at a nightmare put who rolled over, sticking wires onto her stomach before rolling back to a console. "How will they know if the fetus is growing?" Chica asked Saphira curiously.
"I'm assuming by ultrasound," Saphira responded with a dry, shaky voice. "It's a device that be used to see inside the body and allow a doctor to see what might be lurking inside. It is also used to see the visual growth and health of a baby within the womb."
"Quite right, Saphira," Springtrap said with a smile, making Saphira and Chica frown at him as they don't appreciate him jumping into the conversation. "However, we are not using an ultrasound. No, we are using something else that will allow us to see the growth of the fetus in your womb more clearly."
Saphira shuddered, the bot rolled back, sticking a large, disc-shaped object against her stomach and rolled back to the computer, typing away. She jumped a little as the object warmed up quickly, which released a little bit of static onto her skin. Springtrap frowned a little before walking over to the computer to watch the screen. Saphira suspected she won't get the liberty to see the baby, and she figured that was okay.
Chica herself was curious about what a baby looked like within the womb of a human, however, she did not budge from her spot. She looked at Saphira who was frowning at her stomach, the different cords stuck to her skin were monitoring what was growing within her womb. She took deep breaths to try and not get super nervous, after all she was only here for a checkup…that was a light way of putting it.
"Congratulations." Saphira flinched at Springtrap's words and frowned at him as he grinned her. "The implantation was a success. I have to thank you very much for your donation." Her frown deepens in confusion at him. "Oh…you didn't figure it out before, did you? When you got that injection from that metal Music Man…" Saphira shuddered a little, she definitely did not forget it. "It didn't just give you the need and desire to want to get pregnant, a few of your eggs were harvested. Of course, when I saw a few, there was more than a few dozen…" Saphira widened her eyes, she realized it explained some of the pain, though she was shocked he could do that. Chica herself did not quite understand though, but she listened quietly. "And using the fertile seed I have developed for the animatronics, a successful conception took place and the fertile egg was given to your womb…"
"How? I felt no pain," Saphira croaked out, trying to think of what happened. "What Dave bit me…"
"Yes, he numbed your body long enough for him to slide a thin needle into your stomach to reach your womb and push the embryo within." He chuckled softly as he seemed satisfied. "And it is successful."
"Great…can I…go now?" Saphira asked nervously, which received her a glare from Springtrap, making her jump. "Nevermind…"
The bot looked from behind the screen, making whirring noises and Springtrap listened to him. "Perhaps you want to know a few things before you leave. Pfft…so irresponsible already. Anyway, it seems that the bonding of living metal and flesh means the growth of the fetus is much slower than a human baby. That is why there is no slight baby bump on your stomach." Springtrap looked down at her stomach with a devious smile. "It will be a delight to see that smooth, globe grow on her stomach with the fetus developing within."
"So…my pregnancy will be longer than nine months?" Saphira asked nervously as she realized the slower growth rate meant a longer time pregnant.
"So it would seem." Springtrap lifts his hand and placed it on her stomach, she grimaced and wanted to wiggle away as he rubbed gently. "Perhaps by an additionl four to six months…" He paused when the bot whirred suddenly, Springtrap restracted his fingers as he frowned suddenly. "What do you mean you found something?!" His voice turning to anger and frustration made Chica jump and she watched as he stomped back to the computer as the bot pointed to the screen. "Are you certain?"
Chica leaned down to Saphira's ear with a curious frown. "Do you know what he is talking about?" She whispered curiously.
Saphira shook her head, she had absolutely no idea at all. They watch as Springtrap glared at the screen before smirking. "Hmm…that is a surprise…" Springtrap lifts his hand to his chin and chuckled softly. "It must have happened after the implant…well, this development is good."
Saphira and Chica glance at each other nervously, Saphira worried something has changed within her womb. However, she wondered if the conversation was about the baby itself, especially since Springtrap seemed happy about it. Saphira began to have a suspicion of what he might be talking about, and that it was not really that good.
Springtrap looked at Saphira with a groan and stepped closer to the bed. "It would seem there has been some developments that has been unexpected, but good. And do not worry, the pregnancy is going very smoothly. Just make sure you eat some more, Saphira. I would hate to see you a lot thinner than you are."
Chica glanced between Saphira and Springtrap curiously. "Does that mean we can go now?"
Springtrap nodded. "Thank you for your coorperation. It was much appreciated. Bot, remove the connections before Saphira or Chica damages them."
Saphira had been about to pull them off, but relaxed her hand when the bot rolled over to remove the attachments on her stomach. She was relieved and got off the bed quickly, pulling her shirt down over her stomach and grabbing Chica's arm. They both walk out of the room, only to stop as the endos were standing right outside the door.
"Um…" Chica looked back at Springtrap suspiciously. "Are you certain that isn't the welcoming committee?"
He chuckled softly and the endos back away from the door. "Not yet."
The two of them shudder at Springtrap's foreboding words, but they do not stick around to ask. Chica and Saphira walk into the hallway briskly to return to Parts and Service. Chica had indeed alerted the animatronics earlier to what was happening, and warned them to not try anything since there would be more harm done than good if they had. Freddy had not been too thrilled by this development, though he agreed to stay away.
As they walk, Saphira had a single hand on her stomach as her mind thought about what Springtrap meant. He did not come out and say it, but she had a gut feeling. She was not carrying one fetus, she was carrying at least twins. She almost felt like she was going to faint at that thought. She figured one would be okay, but two could be detrimental to her body. Especially since she was already struggling to keep up with their demands of nutrition.
