Upon reaching the office, Saphira rushed over to the desk and pulled out the laptop. She grabbed a connection cord and opened the laptop for a moment. She brought up the antivirus program and made sure that it was almost ready to be used. She could still hear Moon getting closer to the office, but she ignored the sound as she already knew what she wanted to do. Especially since it would definitely be the first major step in dealing with Glitchtrap, and in the long run, Springtrap.
Saphira looked at Freddy as she stepped closer to the door to head over to the animatronic mainframe. "If you can stay and keep Moon from following for a short time, I would greatly appreciate it." He gave her a confused look as he glanced at the laptop in her arm as Saphira opened the door. "I have this under control."
"I will do my best, Saphira," Freddy said softly, though it was obvious he had no idea what she was doing. "I hope whatever it is you are going to do, will not make things worse for you down the line." She nodded in agreement. "But…just to let you know, Moon is strong enough to move me out of the way. I will try to not let him do that, but…I cannot guarantee that."
Saphira just nodded as she closed the door and walked briskly across the bridge to the animatronic mainframe. She walked inside the very hot room and walked over to Sun and Moon's mainframe and hooked her laptop up to it. She could see Glitchtrap running the show in full force right now, and his programming showed he was nothing more than a virus.
Saphira gasped when she heard Freddy shouting something and there was a sound of a loud thud in the office. She frowned and activated the antivirus the upload into Moon's system. She was happy the antivirus uploaded almost immediately into Moon's system and activated on contact with the Glitchtrap virus. Saphira removed her laptop from the mainframe as she watched the codes conflict and suddenly everything goes blank.
Sun was confused and he was scared of what just happened. But Saphira watched as the reboot system came online and she saw that Moon's system seemed clear. She smiled as she hoped she had won. She walked out of the mainframe over to the office. As she walked inside, she was surprised to see Freddy sitting on the ground, staring at Moon with worry. Moon was face down on the ground and she looked at Freddy.
She gasped when she saw that both animatronics had visible dents on their bodies, and they must have thrown punches. Freddy had a dent on his chest and it seemed to have affected his system. "Are you alright, Freddy?" Ahe walked over to him and placed the laptop down. "Moon must have given you a good punch."
"Kick, actually. My systems feel…uh…I think he got some sensitive wires or something. My head feels a little funny too." That didn't sound good and she knew he would now need to go to Parts and Service. "What did you do to Moon?"
"I expelled the virus from his system, at least, I hope I did," Saphira explained as he looked at Moon. "I have been working on something for a few months." She moved closer to Moon cautiously, looking at him as she worried he would not wake up. "Moon?"
She stepped back when she heard him groaning and he sat up a little, placing a hand on his head. The immediate difference that Saphira saw was the color of his optics. They were no longer red, but they were a silvery blue. "Ugh…what…wait…" Moon looked up and looked around in disbelief. "Wait, am I in control?" He looked at his hands and moved his fingers. "I'm…I'm in control…" He looked up at Saphira in shock before he jumped up. "Yee haa!" Saphira smiled when she saw how happy he was and he clapped his feet together excitedly. "You did it! You got that monster out of my system! Oh, thank you, friend!" Moon jumped forward and hugged Saphira, making her flinch in surprise, but she giggled softly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh, I gave up trying to get control so long ago!" He let's her go and stepped back. "And I am so sorry…I promise, it wasn't me, I don't like hurting people, I don't like scaring people, I just want to have sleepovers and tell great bedtime stories."
"And play ping pong?" Saphira asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, yea! How could I forget?!" Moon chuckled loudly and backflips on the spot. "I have not felt this free in so long!" He walked over to Freddy who was smiling. "I am sorry about this, Freddy. Here, let me help you up, old friend." He held out his hand to Freddy and the animatronic took it and Moon helped him to his feet. "There we go! This is so exciting!" Moon turned to Saphira enthusiastically. "Now you can come to the day care and play in the ball pit and play ping pong against me and Sun. We will forever be grateful for this moment! Yippee! I'm free!"
"Who is free?" Saphira and Freddy looked to the door to Parts and Service, and they see Monty at the door. He was staring at Moon in surprise. "And why do you sound like the real Moondrop?"
Moon chuckled and danced over to him. "Because our good friend here has perished Glitchtrap from my system. Can you believe it? I can't! If we could dream, this would definitely be one I never want to wake from." He looked at Saphira gleefully. "But…"
Saphira grimaced as the monitors on the wall suddenly filled with white static, and she looked at them as the shape of a man in a rabbit costume formed. Saphira frowned and walked over to the monitors. "Guess he is not top happy." She glanced at the computer as words began writing on it in caps.
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, BUT YOU WILL JOT GET AEAY WITH THIS, SAPHIRA. YOU MIGHT HAVE FORCED ME OUT OF MOON, BUT I WILL GET BACK IN. JUST YOU WAIT!
Saphira rolled her eyes, she believed he would definitely try something, but she was not concerned on what might do. She typed back to him anyway.
I don't think you would want to harm the new bodies for Springtrap, now would you? I just wanted you to stop tormenting me whenever the lights went out. Is that really so much to ask?
It took a moment before she flinched as she saw the image of Glitchtrap throwing a punch, he was definitely mad. She knew he couldn't actually hurt her, but he could by going through other means.
Oh, I see. You are playing a game. Well, enjoy it while it lasts. And I hope you don't intend on enjoying your birthday. I don't think you should get to enjoy it! Not while I'm still in control!
Saphira covered her eyes as the monitors brightened and she couldn't see very well until it suddenly went black. The lights came back on and Saphira heard a shriek of surprise from Moon and turned to see his body changing into Sun. Sun looked around in surprise and looked down at the damage on his side from Freddy before looking back at Saphira.
He ran at her with open arms and hugged her. "I can't believe it! You did it! Thank you so much!" Sun chuckled loudly and released Saphira before jumping away. "Now we can be proper friends! I no longer have to worry about Moon hurting you, because the virus is now gone! GONE! Ha, ha, ha!"
Monty smiled as he listened to the cheerful voice from Sundrop. "Hmmph, I didn't think you could do it, punk," Monty comments, folding his arms and looking at her through his sunglasses. "But I guess I underestimated you. I knew you were planning something, but I didn't know what. I hope you can do the same for DJ Music Man, I am sure it would be good to have him free from Glitchtrap too."
"I will work on that one," Saphira said confidently. "I don't want Glitchtrap to figure out how to beat me. I am sure he will try. He and Springtrap do have control of the staff bots…that is my main concern, really." She knew DJ Music Man can move around the pizzaplex with the hidden corridors designed for him throughout the building, which was another reason to worry about. "I think Freddy and Sun should head to Parts and Service."
"Oh, there's no need!" Sun said quickly and Saphira looked at him with a frown. "I am afraid I have my own Parts and Service above the daycare. I know you want to fix this dent from the punch Freddy threw when I kicked him, but you have no need to worry. You go get Freddy back into tip top shape." He pats Saphira's shoulder gently and jumped away. "This is so exciting! I had feared I would be stuck like this forever, and now we can enjoy being free!"
Saphira chuckled softly as she walked over to Freddy. He was holding his chest and she looked at him. "Come on, let's get you fixed up." He nodded as she walked with him out of the office. "I know you getting injured definitely was not on my to do list…and I'm sorry. I feel like it was partly my fault."
"No, I just wanted to make sure he couldn't get to you, super star," Freddy said gently with a gentle smile. "And now that I have what you have done, you are amazing, Saphira. You not only have the skills to fix us and help us when we need to, but you seem to have the skills to fight back against Glitchtrap. I look forward to see you improve those skills so that he is flushed out of the pizzaplex and make it safer for us and all of our guests."
Saphira smiled at him and looked down as she walked down the stairs with him. "Well…I wouldn't have to do it if my own life wasn't threatened…and I wouldn't have to do it, if people weren't being hurt and killed because of a living virus." She placed her hand on her stomach thoughtfully. She knew there were many other reasons too. While she didn't like she was pregnant from horrible reasons, she also didn't want the babies to end up being hosts for evil beings. "Now that they will know I have the skills to fight back…it will be interesting to see how…uh…Springtrap reacts. We already know he can be forceful."
Freddy nodded in agreement as there was no way he could forget what Springtrap had already done. Especially as Saphira was now carrying babies that will remind them of what happened. But Freddy himself was really thinking on what he should do. His programming did not include violence, and it was very rare for him to even punch. Punching Moon was more of a self defence than it was to attack, which was why Sun and Moon can repair the damage easily. He had a bigger impact that the clown bot did.
"I do have to…uhh…" Saphira glanced over her shoulder at Sun as he followed them. He was rubbing his fingers nervously. "I might know a little bit. I know Glitchtrap never expected an antivirus strong enough to expel him from my system. But…well…I do remember there was a plan in place to punish you if you were to achieve that. But this was before you ended up pregnant…" He rubbed his head thoughtfully as Saphira reached the door and walked into Parts and Service. "I am not sure if it will still happen, but I know it will involve either the staff bots or the mini DJ Music Man somehow. It might not be extreme, as I know they want these babies to be born strong."
Saphira sighed a little, glancing at Chica who was looking at them in confusion. Orville was in the cylinder with Darren working on him, and she wondered if Monty had been here. "Why is…Sun with you?" Chica asked curiously. She glanced between Freddy and Sun, widening her eyes in surprise. "Why are you both damaged?"
"Well, Glitchtrap had Moon go after Saphira, as per usual," Sundrop explained quickly as Chica listened quietly. "I faintly remember Glitchtrap wanting to scare Saphira or something tonight, not sure why, but mostly as a reminder for her to keep in line. He knows you saw that woman dragging the body in the atrium, which was the reason for it."
Saphira looked at Sun curiously. "Does this mean you are able to tell us more about Springtrap and Vanessa now that you are no longer controlled by the Glitchtrap virus?"
Sun thought about it for a moment while Chica was in shock when she heard that. "Hmm…well…I-I am still kind of nervous. Because…well…w-w-what if the antivirus doesn't prevent Glitchtrap from taking back control?"
"It should, I programmed the antivirus to be similar to the protection program that Mr Hippo has," Saphira said with a reassuring tone. "But I understand. I'll keep an eye on your system for a while, Sun." She looked at Chica with a smile. "I was able to flush Glitchtrap out of Moondrop's system. He is completely free from his control."
"Really?" Chica lists her hands to her cheeks with a grin. "That is fantastic!" She jumped up and down happily and she was about to scoop up Saphira to spin her around, but Freddy moved in front of her. "Oh, sorry! I almost forgot that Saphira is pregnant. I can't swing you around like I used to."
She shook her head. "No, especially as I am feeling a little nauseous again." Saphira was a tad annoyed. "And I was going to have some potato or something tonight…I guess I may not even get to do that." She rubbed her forehead and looked at Sun. "I am just glad I did something good tonight…and…it has given me some confidence."
"And confidence is good. I think we are all going to need it. Oh, may I suggest something?" She looked at Monty curiously as he lifts his sunglasses. "I know I got new claws mostly to play my guitar well, but I know they are stronger than the claws I had before. I am just thinking you should upgrade Freddy's hands with the same ones. Just in case, of course."
"But we are no programmed to be violent," Freddy said softly.
"We aren't programmed to feel love either, but here we are," Monty argued with a smirk on his face. "And I know for a fact, we are not programmed to get close and personal like you and Saphira do. I know it is hard to get around a lot of our programming, but we still have free will. I used to not be violent either, but that made me lose my legs and now I want to make sure I'll never be in that position again."
"He has a point." Freddy looked at Saphira as she smiled at him. "I know it will be hard…but you do have the choice, Freddy. I know you want to protect me, and I want you to go through with it. I have already seen in you that you are ready to put yourself between me and danger, and I know you also have a conflict on whether you want to fight. And…I think you will be forced to make that choice eventually." She placed her hands on his arm and stepped closer to hug his arm with a smile. "Just know that you aren't in the wrong to fight to protect someone."
"I know…I guess…it is more of actively going out to fight," Freddy said softly. "But I would never hesitate to put myself in the way of danger, Saphira. I could not bear the thought of…well…" He looked away from her briefly. "You have no idea the fear I felt when I turned away from the front door and only to look back, and see you weren't there. Only a damaged plush and your bag on the ground. That was the moment…I realized things could not be as they have been."
She hugged him gently and kissed him. "I…honestly…don't like remembering that day. I…I hated that I could have left, and never come back. And yet…I still wished it didn't happen…but it was the day that made us all realize the seriousness." She took a deep breath and looked over at the Protective Cylinder as Darren walked out, looking at Freddy and Sun curiously. "I am sorry, Darren…um, I am going to have to bring Freddy into the cylinder."
The man smiled as he finished off the log on the computer and turned to face him with Orville walking out of the cylinder. "I did overhear what has been said. Did you really find a way to beat Glitchtrap? I knew you had said more than once you had a plan, but…wow." He looked at Sun who nodded enthusiastically. "This is great! Um, and yes…as long as Chica is fine waiting a little longer."
"I'm not the one who is holding my chest from pain," Chica said with a smile, looking at Freddy who appreciated her kindness. "Sometimes I forget that clown can be as strong as we are." Freddy just smiled and walked towards the cylinder as Saphira walked over to the computer to start a new log. Chica looked at Sun. "It is nice to have you around, Sun. I don't remember hanging out like this for a long time."
"Yeah, well…the virus took control of Moon very suddenly and very quickly a few months after we were made," Sun said in a slow, sad voice. "Moon and I were so confused, and we tried to banish the virus from our systems, but…then he…forced Moon to…do things to the security guards and traumatize the children who stay for the pyjama party we used to have on Saturday nights…he was making us aware he was in control."
"That explains why you began warning us to alert any new security guards about you," Monty said thoughtfully as he listened to the clown. "It is good to have you around, punk. But you should really tell us more. I am sure you still have memories."
"Yeah…" Sun still seemed nervous about sharing what he knew. He looked at Freddy as he walked into the cylinder with Saphira and he laid down on the chair to get fixed. "Alright…well…Springtrap has been looking for a way to…get a new body for a long time. That is actually the main reason he had the pizzaplex built. Fazbear Entertainment is owned by people who have all been brainwashed by him. Dave and Vanessa are not the only ones who are manipulated by him."
"Do you know how he is even managing to do that?" Darren asked curiously. "I know for a fact, some of us, are physically tortured into following his orders. I know…because…well…"
"I know, Darren…Springtrap has turned you into a living animatronic, in a way," Sundrop said sadly and the animatronics glanced at the man in surprise. "I know Moon was there when you were…first scooped…" He placed his hands on the side of his head and shakes it. "I will never forget that moment…seeing the machine rip you in half and Springtrap literally replacing everything with robotics…to the point you could function like a normal human."
Darren shivered as he remembered what has happened to him. "The only thing he hasn't scooped is my heart. I know he's threatened to take that out from me, and put a fake one in…to make me fully in control of his wishes. Thankfully…I am careful enough to not end up back in the scooping room." He looked into the cylinder as the door closed and watched as Saphira began repairing Freddy's damages. "I have been living like this for a long time."
"I…uh…cannot imagine how awful that must have been," Chica commented gently as she listened to Darren. "It is a good thing you are still with us, though. I know you have gone through a lot, Darren, but you are here and you can help us."
The man smiled and nodded. "I know. I intend on remaining here and assisting Saphira, even when Springtrap is beaten. I don't really think I can live a normal life, but it will be more normal when she is the boss, and not him."
"Wouldn't that mean you would still be trapped?" Monty asked curiously with a slight frown. "I know it is a choice, but…you are trapped, no matter how you look at it." He shrugged a little and Monty let out a sigh. "Well…at least we one extra person on our team." He looked at Sun with a smile. "Do you know why Springtrap has been trying to get a new body?"
Sun nodded. "Yeah, it has a lot to do with the history of the old pizzerias. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza…but I don't know everything. I just know that Springtrap used to be a human called William Afton, and he had murdered some kids and stuffed their bodies in animatronic suits. But I think the souls of the kids possessed the animatronic suits, Afton noticed and tried to stop them, but he ended up inside a spring lock suit which clamped down on him and killed him. Which turned him into a walking, rotting, robotic, zombie so to speak." The clown paused for a moment as he seemed unsure if that was true. "I am not sure it's true…but Glitchtrap is Springtrap's subconsciousness. Somehow, someway, the man uploaded his thoughts, memories and personality into a hard drive, and it eventually was uploaded into the pizzaplex."
"And the virus spread through the systems, infecting the staff bots and a day care attendant," Darren said in a sad tone and looked at Saphira. He knew she could hear them, but she was focused. The casings on Freddy's chest and stomach had been removed for her to fix the damage to his wires. "I honestly have been having a bad feeling for some time. I know it might be crazy…" He looked back at the animatronics with a worried expression. "But I've been having this bad feeling for a couple weeks. I fear something will happen."
"To Saphira?" Chica asked curiously.
"I…do not know. Maybe…maybe not." Darren took a deep breath and lowered his voice. "I know her birthday is not far, but I have a bad feeling something will happen then. Maybe at Halloween as well, since that is at the end of next month. But…the bad thing could happen to you guys too, and even me." He glanced back at Saphira and looked at the animatronics. "Springtrap is diverting funds as well. Chica Coaster will be opened by Halloween, but it was meant to be open sooner. Same Roxy Bumper Cars and we were supposed to open Space Bridge on New Year's, but the funding being cut means those things will take longer to happen."
"That was what you and Saphira were talking about," Monty said as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully and lowered his sunglasses. "I think we should just take one step at a time. Glitchtrap already gave Saphira a warning that he is furious, and he will do something to punish her for it. We will be on the lookout for anything, and hopefully our eye issue can be fixed. My eyes have been glitching whenever I look in a specific direction."
"I think Saphira has a plan for that too." Darren was aware Saphira might have found something that was causing the animatronics to have glitches in their sight whenever they try and look at the woman in the rabbit costume. "But…she is working against time. She won't be pregnant forever, and you guys haven't even been shown the pain she'll through."
"She did tell us what to expect during the pregnancy…" Chica said thoughtfully. "But…she also did say she would tell us what to expect for the birth. But will she really go through a lot of pain?" Darren nodded. "Oh…uh…"
"I am already doing some side medical stuff so I am prepared to help," Darren said gently, even though he did not seem entirely confident. "Delivering a baby isn't something I am qualified to do, but you guys are not either. Especially since it will be twins, it will be twice as hard and I do not know how long she could be forced to endure it."
"And whatever horror she has to endure at the time," Sundrop said in a low voice. "I know Springtrap plans on trying to bring her to the basement before she gives birth, and he might even induce the birth…I don't know what that means though." Darren looked horrified and the animatronic could tell that wasn't good. "I thought that did not mean anything good." Sundrop shrugged a bit. "But you are right. Time isn't our friend. But now we have something against Springtrap, and I hope this continues."
The animatronics and Darren were in agreement. Saphira could hear them whispering and she did not know what was being said. She was sure it was regarding her, the babies and Springtrap. But she focused on Freddy as she was fixing some of the damaged wires from the impact, and a couple connections. There wasn't anything major to fix, but Darren was still out of his league with the repairs. But she would teach him how to do this so she wouldn't have to soon. Especially as she was sure she only had at least a month or two left before she could not help the animatronics with the maintenance.
Meanwhile…
Deep below ground, Springtrap was screwing a screw into something he was working on. He had been getting things ready and prepared for the arrival of the twins, though he didn't get everything done quickly. He knew he had a few months to work on his project and make sure the medical room was set and ready for her to arrive. He was looking forward to finally being free from the prison of his spring lock shell.
"Mr Miller…" Springtrap flinched and turned towards a computer with the static image of Vanessa. She was wearing her rabbit costume. "I am afraid I have bad news. Saphira was able to clear out the virus in Moondrop."
"I am aware," Springtrap responded calmly and turned back to his project. "I was shouted at before by the virus. I am not surprised. She went to school to learn robotics, and I have no doubt she was taught how to code and work with viruses. She has the ability to make antiviruses."
"Are you not concerned she'll flush out the virus in the pizzaplex?" The woman asked curiously with her voice coming through the speakers in a slightly static way. "She could also affect the Princess Quest machines. Once the virus is gone, it cannot re-infect the system if it is too weak."
"Nope. I am expecting her to do just that." The woman was surprised by how calm Springtrap was. "Listen to me, Vanny. I want you to not worry about what Saphira will do. I also gave clearance to the virus to…scare Saphira a little to give her a punishment for freeing Sun and Moon from us. I have a job I want you to do for me."
"Alright…what do you need me to do, Mr Miller?" Vanny asked as she accepted she couldn't stop Saphira.
"I am looking for another helper, but I need to find someone who can go missing and no one is going to notice," Springtrap explained to the woman. "I don't care if it is an adult or kid, just find me someone who no one will miss."
The woman seemed surprised by the request. "You want them alive?"
Springtrap growled and turned to glare at the screen. "Yes, I want them alive. Just make sure you find me someone before Saphira gives birth. If you don't, I am afraid your usefulness will be at an end. I am sure you don't want that to happen, Vanny."
"I-I will find you someone, Mr Miller," The woman responded quickly and affirmatively. "I have access to the database of our guests, and I will not disappoint you."
"Good. Now go and be a good night guard for the rest of the evening." He turned away from the computer to keep working as he picked up a welder and turned it on. "And next time you find someone for me to eat, don't do it on camera. Saphira's eyes are keener than that disc you have to keep the animatronics from seeing you in that lovely costume."
"Understood."
She ended the communication and left Springtrap alone with his work. Springtrap was not concerned at all that Saphira could clear Glitchtrap from the system. Glitchtrap was extremely worried, but Springtrap was not. He could easily upload his consciousness again into another disc if he wanted to, but Springtrap was focused on getting a new body. And with two bodies being developed within that girl's womb, he was more interested in something more serious than a small issue like her clearing Glitchtrap from the system.
