One Month Later…

Nearly six months along, and Saphira's pregnancy has progressed well. Though she felt quite huge now, as she looked like she was eight months along with a single baby at this point, Saphira has yet to feel any movement from the twins within her. She was a little concerned, but she also knew that her pregnancy was not a normal pregnancy, so things could be different. And she did also take joy knowing she would not feel kicks while she was in the middle of sleep. That didn't mean she wasn't uncomfortable during the night however.

The only thing that seemed to keep her awake was her determination to erase Glitchtrap. She had really focused on improving the Trojan horse to lure the virus, and being able to protect the animatronic system from Glitchtrap's attacks. So far she could probably enact her plan very soon, but she didn't just yet. Mostly because Vanessa has been acting weird recently.

This started around the time a new orphanage opened in the town, and the children were brought here occasionally. For some strange reason, Saphira overheard Vanessa and Springtrap having a weird conversation. She had not meant to eavesdrop a week ago when she had gone to the main kitchen to check a malfunctioning piece of equipment, and she passed by a closed off maintenance area and Vanessa had been inside speaking with Springtrap. And she remembers it, and it made her shiver.

'Stay the course.'

'I will.'

'Focus on my voice.'

'I will.'

'Don't let anyone lead your astray.'

'I won't.'

'Have you selected one?'

'I have.'

That was the strange conversation she had overheard from Vanessa and Springtrap. In fact, he was using his Mr Miller voice, which seemed to be somehow a hypnotic voice for Vanessa. She did not know how Springtrap even brainwashed her. But considering the strangeness of what had been said, especially the question about selecting one, Saphira worried if this had something to do with the orphanage. And she didn't know why Springtrap was even interested in the first place. It also made Saphira even more motivated.

This included creating a new set of eyes for the animatronics. The distortion disc was the other thing she had been working on overcoming for the animatronics. She was very close to getting the right frequency. The animatronics could potentially see Vanessa, but not very well. She wanted it to be better than that so they could see her properly. She believed she would have the new eyes ready to be made just before Christmas. At least she was hoping for that.

Saphira was currently in her office after she had arrived early. She had come to the pizzaplex early as she had been uncomfortable when she woke up at home. So she brought her laptop to keep working on the antivirus. Today is the day she turns twenty-one, and the only thing she has found so far was a small gift when she arrived in the office today. It was from Freddy. It was a vase of red roses, a box of chocolates and a new necklace that had arrived to the pizzaplex to sell. It was a silver chain with peacock-feather shaped pendants with the smiling faces of the animatronics on the six, golden pendants with blue, pink and green glitter around the faces. It wasn't an expensive gift, but it was beautiful. Saphira knew she would have to thank Freddy later. Darren left a birthday card for her.

She had never really received a gift on her birthday before, so this was rather special for her. She did not put the necklace on as she wanted to put it on when she sees Freddy. The pizzaplex was rather quiet at the moment as Thanksgiving had just been a few days ago. That was another holiday Saphira never got to experience. She used to see her former family gather and eat delicious food, but she never got to eat any of it. Or if she did, it was always the scraps. So when Darren told her she could enjoy it, Saphira almost did not. But she has been eating a lot lately, so she wasn't going to turn down food.

Saphira was also starting to make up a chart to explain to the animatronics on what they should expect when it came for her to give birth. She knew that they would likely be alarmed by what was likely to happen, but it was better than not being informed. She knew she was still nervous about the birth. So far, she was at least going to be able to get rid of the Glitchtrap virus from the pizzaplex system. She didn't know how she was going to deal with Vanessa and Springtrap yet. But she hoped to deal with both of them before she gave birth. She was almost six months after all, and that means she possibly only had a least four to six months left, and that really was not much time at all.

Saphira was also annoyed about having to get new clothes. At the moment, she was mostly content about wearing dresses. She could not be bothered wearing pants. Thankfully, Darren allowed her to wear a customized uniform. It was a loose, white dress with a Freddy logo on it. There was no security sign put onto her uniform though, as Saphira didn't really need to deal with arrogant guests who think they can push her around. And while Saphira can use self defence, her reflexes weren't exactly as grand as they were before her pregnancy. So she didn't want to be embarrassing herself.

Saphira sat on the chair with her feet up on another chair as she casually clicked through the cameras. She hummed softly as she found Freddy and Monty in one of the party rooms, Sun was playing ping pong against a family, Roxy was in her salon promoting some new products that have arrived, Chica, Foxy and Foxette were entertaining guests in the main dining room, Mr Hippo was in Glam Corner telling a story, while Happy Frog Pigpatch and Orville had returned to their rooms for the night.

It was really quiet, and it was almost nigne. She smiled a little as that meant there was very little for her to do tonight. "Evening, Saphira!" She jumped when she heard Vanessa's voice speak suddenly through the Fazwatch. "I heard today is your birthday. I never knew that! Happy birthday!" She grimaced a little when the woman addressed her birthday, but she said nothing. "Since tonight is going to be quiet, I'll probably go around the pizzaplex. You just keep your feet off the ground."

"Thanks, Vanessa. I know you are already doing that, and you didn't need to inform me of that tonight." She continued to casually go through the cameras before pausing and frowning. She saw Vanessa walking through the utility tunnels. "Are you already going through your rounds?"

"Uh, no, why?"

"I see you in the utility tunnels, Vanessa," Saphira responded in a blunt, irritated tone. "If you were going to try and tell you are in your office, I am not silly. What are you doing in the utility tunnels?" She rubbed her forehead in frustration. "I really am not in the mood for excuses."

"Oh, sorry. I guess I might have given the wrong impression." She raised an eyebrow at Vanessa's response. "I am just in the utility tunnels because Mr Miller requested me to be there. There was a shipment that came in today and he wants to personally oversee it." A shipment for Springtrap?

"What exactly did he get?" Saphira asked in a curious tone.

"I am afraid I cannot tell you, Mr Miller prefers it if you did not know." She rolled her eyes in irritation. Saphira has become more irritable over the last few weeks, even though she kept her mouth closed most of the time now. "All I know is that what he ordered will be something to improve his work…I don't really know what that means of course."

"Ugh…whatever." Saphira just watched the screens curiously, though there was soon static filling up the screen, making it nearly impossible for her to see. "I guess if he's asked you personally for it, I won't hold you up much more for it. You don't need to inform me when you are done. Just make sure you keep an eye on the guests. There might not be many people tonight, but that can sometimes mean people will take advantage and try to stay behind. And I cannot move around fast enough anymore to catch people."

The woman chuckled softly at the other end, which did not help with Saphira's irritation. "I promise I will keep an eye on people, Saphira. I am not going to abandon my duties. At least you do know that I have to do whatever Mr Miller commands me to do first, right?"

"Yeah, yeah…I won't hold you. I have other things I need to do. Mr Miller sent some stuff regarding Spacebridge." Saphira looked over at the files she had received. With Chica Coaster running smoothly since it opened, and additional finance for Roxy Bumper Cars and Spacebridge, the new area above the atrium is set to open early next year. She just needed to oversee it. "So I need to go through it and sign stuff."

"Oh, I see! I am sorry for keeping you!" Vanessa responded in a shock tone. "I won't bother you any further. Hopefully you can get it done to enjoy your birthday some more."

Technically my birthday ends at midnight as last night was kind of weird.

Saphira didn't respond to Vanessa as she simply hung up her end of the communication link. She did have paperwork to go through, and she didn't really want to. But she had to get it over with. It was basically safety checks she had to sign. Even though she wasn't the one building the area, she still needed to check over what was being done so far and tick it off for work to continue on it.

As for her thoughts on the previous night, Saphira wouldn't really be able to describe it. For some reason, Sun and Moon had been panicking. Sun was too frightened to explain, and Moon himself simply said that he was seeing signs around the pizzaplex that Glitchtrap was going to take control of another puppet. He said that Vanessa has been hanging around the day care and atrium a little too often, and especially last night. The local orphanage brought the children last night, and that was when Sun and Moon panicked.

And the animatronics seemed to be…odd. Saphira didn't know how to describe it. Mr Hippo, Orville, Pigpatch, Happy Frog, Foxy and Foxette weren't the ones who seemed odd. In fact, they noticed that when Moon was speaking about Vanessa, when the animatronics spoke, their voices had a strange undertone to them. It was like someone else was speaking through them as well. Saphira checked the animatronic system, and she didn't find anything strange. So she didn't know why it happened, and the animatronics didn't seem to notice, but they were worried when Saphira, Mr Hippo and Foxy pointed it out. Saphira was also worried that Glitchtrap had been in their system at that time, and he wasn't now.

She brought her laptop with her today as she thought about using it to free them permanently. She hoped DJ Music Man would also be freed as her previous attempt had not worked. She was confident that it would work, but she didn't want to do it while guests were still here. But she suspected the pizzaplex was going to be empty before ten anyway, so she hoped that it would be something she could do by then.

She glanced at the monitor when she spotted Darren in the atrium. She raised an eyebrow when she saw he was wearing a white suit with pink roses on it. She chuckled a little as his fashion sense never ceased to amaze her. She watched as he walked to Glam Corner and he seemed to be speaking with the animatronics. She couldn't hear what he was saying, but Orville, Pigpatch and Happy Frog leave their rooms to follow Darren. She didn't know what they were going to do, but she was definitely very curious about it.

She suspected it was something to do with her birthday, but she looked at the files to go through them. She didn't know if it was going to be some kind of surprise that they have been planning for her, so she didn't want to spoil it. But she did still feel curious regardless. So she focused on going through the paperwork to sign and send off. At the same time, she ordred a plate of nachos as she was feeling quite peckish. One thing she was happy about was that the smell of pizza no longer made her feel nauseous. She often had a few slices while she was working each night, even though her cravings have changed a few times.

Currently she was obsessed with Nutella covered apple slices. She had a heap of it in her fridge and she would simply cut up several apples and dip pieces directly into the jar. It might be somewhat unhealthy, but no one was really going to stop her from eating what she was craving. Freddy often fed her the apples, which was something Saphira loved. Especially when they were along together. Saphira's libido had also gone up.

Freddy found himself at Saphira's begging for him daily. He knew she had warned him this would happen, but he certainly had not expected it to be so insistent. He wasn't complaining much about it though, because Freddy loved spending time with her. And Saphira hardly focused on the actual intimacy, but rather the time they spent together which included the heightened libido and her hunger for his touch.

Saphira was already thinking about what she and Freddy could do tonight. She thought about asking him about going to the roof of the pizzaplex. She remembered that night so clearly, and it has been sometime since they had gone to the rooftop to spend the time together. She wanted to look up at the stars with Freddy by her side. In a perfect world, they would need no restrictions to do that at anytime. But they could only do it at specific times during the day.

Once she finished with the files, Saphira just spent her time eating the nachos that had been delivered to her by one of the staff bots and she just watched the cameras curiously. She did see Darren speaking to the animatronics, especially Freddy when he was finished with the birthday party. It definitely seemed like they were planning something. But static would cross over the cameras several times, and she was certain that Glitchtrap was also planning something again.

He did get rid of those pumpkin face bots after the incident last month…so I don't even know what staff bot are his anymore.

Nothing really changed in the utility tunnels either. Saphira had expected Glitchtrap to do something about the utility tunnels, but nothing changed. The hallway was still open, and she could go to Glitchtrap's staff bot machine if she wanted to. She likely won't go there again, and rather use the main building system to erase the Glitchtrap virus when the Trojan horse was ready. It was almost ready, but not enough.

"Good evening, super star," Freddy's cheerful voice spoke through the Fazwatch. "And a big happy birthday! I must say, I am having trouble processing the amount of time we even spent during this last year together." Saphira chuckled softly as she listened to Freddy speak to her. "It is hard to believe you started working here as a night guard at the start of the year. If only things had gone differently."

"I am happy to hear your voice, Freddy," Saphira said to him happily. "I am happy that I took up the job offer when I found it. And this definitely was not something I ever expected to happen. But I am happy." She looked at the cameras again, she could see Freddy walking through the lobby to the elevator with Monty. "I see you and Darren had a bit of a conversation before."

"Super star, I had known you would be curious about what we have planned for today," The animatronic said with a light chuckle. "And you are correct, Darren and I were discussing a few things. But you do not need to know about yet." She smiled as she listened to him. "How did you like your gifts? I wasn't sure what I should get you, Saphira. With your past, I worried you would reject something big, so I guessed something like roses, chocolates and a necklace were okay enough."

"I love them, Freddy. You have given me a lot of gifts over the last year, you know that. I have loved them all. I still have that giant, plush, Freddy back home. I literally hug it when I sleep." Saphira looked over at the couch as there was also another Freddy plush she had kept here. They brought her a sense of comfort. "And even though today is the day I was born twenty-one years ago, I love getting gifts from you. I don't need any kind of birthday party."

Freddy chuckled gently as he listened to Saphira's response. "I am glad to hear that, super star. And I know you have a lot of history with your birthday. But we can change that this year, Saphira. This year is about you, and only you."

"Yes, but…" Saphira's expression turned sad as she ran her hand over her stomach. "If it wasn't surrounded by fear and pain, I would be more excited, Freddy. I know I am free from my family…but I am not free from fear or pain."

Freddy was silent as he realized why Saphira felt that way, and now he understood. That meant she would feel the same regarding Christmas too. "I see. I had not really…would it not be better to spend the night surrounded by your family, Saphira? We want to celebrate the day you were born. I would never have met such a beautiful, amazing human if you did not exist. And I think that alone is more than enough reason to celebrate."

She blushed as she listened to Freddy's compliment. "I guess you are right."

"And one more thing." She looked at the watch curiously as Freddy spoke. "Look in the closet. Roxy found something you should wear tonight. And don't worry, she made sure that it was something that was easy to put on and comfortable to wear."

Saphira looked towards the small closet and groaned a little. "That means I have to get up."

"I am afraid so, super star. But you can do it." She still did not want to get up, but she was curious about what Roxy had given her, so she forced herself to her feet with groan. "We are all hoping that the pizzaplex will be empty rather early. Darren said there was only about twenty guests left in the building when I spoke to him."

"So you're trying to make this party go longer, huh?" Saphira asked as she walked over to the closet. "Can I add a back rub to the list of presents you are going to give me? Maybe a little something more."

Freddy chuckled softly at her. "I definitely will ensure that you get a back and foot massage, Saphira. You have my word." She opened the door and Freddy heard the closet doors squeaking when she opened them. "I hope you like the dress."

Saphira stared in surprise as she saw that the dress Roxy had given her was a maternity dress. But it was a very beautiful, maternity dress. It literally was a dress based around Glamrock Freddy. The orange, brown color of the dress shimmered under the light with the glitter in the fabric. The fabric was a comfortable, stretchy fabric with a lot of room for air to flow through the fabric. There was a blue, transparent, fishnet fabric for the arms, while the top of the dress had a blue lightning design. Saphira had no idea maternity clothes had been made and this was lovely.

"I see I keep getting surprised," Saphira commented with a chuckle, taking the dress off the hanger. "Too bad the orange washed out of my hair already, that would have matched well with the dress." This was true, her natural black hair grew out more and the orange dye faded rather quickly from her hair. She still had purple tips, but they have also faded. "I'll get changed into it right now."

"I look forward to seeing it on you, super star. I have no doubt you will be beautiful." She giggled as she placed the dress down and began to remove her current dress. "Let me know when you have changed. I know Darren wants to make sure we are alone. Most of the staff have left by now, and you, Vanessa and Darren will likely be the only ones in the atrium."

"I will." She was very excited as she slid the dress off. She grabbed the new dress to carefully put it on. "I am not sure if I will enjoy the party, Freddy. So I do hope none of you will be upset if that does happen."

"I believe you will. But we will not pressure you into enjoying it, Saphira. I know you will enjoy it." Freddy sounded so confident, and she hoped that he was right. She didn't want to let them down. "Have you had any Nutella covered apple slices yet?"

Saphira glanced towards the fridge as she thought about it. "Not yet…but that does sound very nice, if I am honest."

Freddy chuckled in amusement. "I suppose I am not surprised. That is all you seem to want to eat. But at least you do indulge yourself on other types of food. The twins will definitely be grateful for that." She glanced down at her stomach briefly as she began to pull on the dress. "Darren made sure to get additional supplies of applies and Nutella for you."

She giggled softly as she was amused that Darren could have done that for her. "There is always a chance the cravings will change to something else, Freddy. I know I don't like pork currently, so I refuse to have anything with pork in it. This includes processed pork like ham and bacon."

"I suppose it is true. The cravings you get are still a mystery to me." Saphira agreed with him as cravings really were a mystery to her too. "When do you plan on sitting us all down to talk about how the birth will be?"

She tensed slightly as she slipped her arms through the sleeves. "Ugh…I don't know. I am still writing it down as I want to do the same as I did before."

"I know you don't really want to talk about it…but I am nervous about not knowing. I do not want to find myself panicking and not realizing what I can do to help you. That would make me a bad animatronic to you." She would likely tell them soon, so they would not be in the dark. She thought about using movie clips to help, but she wasn't sure if she should do that. "Have you got the dress on yet, super star? Or are you needing some more time?"

"It is on." Saphira managed to sip up the dress before moving around and feeling how comfortable it was. "It is very comfortable to wear." She walked over to a mirror to look at herself and she smiled as she saw the dress was rather beautiful. "I can see this is going to be very popular for pregnant women."

"So I have been told. I am glad you are currently wearing the dress. Give me a moment." Freddy's voice cut off for a moment and Saphira walked back over to the chair to sit down, waiting to hear back from him. "It is just after nine now…all of us animatronics have completed our tasks for the day. We are going back to our rooms for a recharge. Darren should reach out to you soon. I look forward to seeing you soon, super star. I love you."

"I love you too, Freddy." She made a kiss sound at the Fazwatch before Freddy cut off the communication.

She smiled to herself as she relaxed in the chair. She still had mixed feelings about a potential birthday party, but she never denied the animatronics from trying to throw her one. She didn't know if she should feel excited about it or not. All she remembers of her birthday was darkness and pain before she escaped from her home. And the only thing she ever did to celebrate was buy a single cupcake. This year just didn't feel the need for a cupcake.

She looked at the monitors curiously as she gazed at the cameras, and she saw the animatronics have indeed gone back to their rooms. Though she saw that Sun was acting strange in the day care. He seemed to be pacing between the play structures and seemed to be talking to himself. She knew he was likely talking to Moon, but he seemed extremely nervous and worried. She wondered if she should reach out to him to find out why.

"Hey, Sun. I see something is wrong. Should I be worried? Or is it something else?"
