Standing at the bottom of the ramp from the lift was Darren. His clothes were torn, and there was very obvious injuries to his body. He had fresh stitches down his chest, stomach and on the side of his head. Saphira had no idea what has been done to him, but seeing him right now was both relieving and worrying at the same time. It felt like a coincidence to her, but it could also be chance Springtrap had let him go about the same time that Freddy collapsed due to the damaged wiring in his neck. Vanessa was more interested in finding Gregory, so she doubted any of them k e that Freddy would collapse.
Saphira walked down the ramp with Roxy close behind. "Darren…" She didn't get too close to him, in case he was being controlled by Springtrap. "I am so sorry for what has happened to you. You look…awful." She let more tears fall from her eyes. "I wish I was not stupid enough to go sticking my nose in business that didn't concern me. You wouldn't have gone through torment otherwise."
Darren took a deep breath and he smiled weakly at her, shuffling a little to brace himself on the wall. "It is okay…" She stepped closer with worry as he sounded breathless at the moment. "Regardless of what you did, I think this would have happened anyway." He looked at the animatronics and frowned a little. "Why is Freddy being carried? He looks like…he is offline or something."
"He is. He got hit in the neck by my former father with a crowbar, and it damaged some wiring." Darren blinked in surprise as he listened to her. "It must have gotten worse since he collapsed on stage. Now I have to fix the wire." The man frowned a little and she put her hands on her hips. "You're not in the right condition to help, Darren. And I don't know what Springtrap has done to you. I…I might not be able to trust you for a while."
Darren seemed hurt by her words, but he understood. "I get it…you should worry…he…I know he cut my skull open and did something. That is why…" He lifts his hand and gestured to the side of his head. "I have this…plus…now he can shut off my heart any time he wants…or squeezes it…my heart is no longer organic…"
"Oh, no…" Saphira felt so sorry for him. "I guess you were scooped for that." He nodded and groaned as he held his stomach. "I wish I could help you, but…"
"You should keep your distance." She blinked and stepped back as soon as he said his warning. "Springtrap can and will control my actions. He is very angry at you, so…yeah…" Darren glanced at the animatronics as they listen to him. "If…If I do something that requires you do whatever it takes to keep Saphira alive, you must stop me. Even if it kills me."
They were all surprised by his comment as they had not expected that from him. But it definitely seemed like he understood that he has been compromised by Springtrap. Saphira was saddened by his warning, but she understood. Keeping her distance from him was the safest thing she could do right now. And she likely couldn't speak to him about everything like she could before. But she did know that Springtrap could already know about their past conversations.
"We will heed your warnings, Darren," Mr Hippo said gently, gesturing for Monty and Bonnie to walk off the platform. "I hope it will not come to us having to end your life to save Saphira. But we will need your warning. It will be best if you go and rest." He glanced at the visible stitches and bruises on Darren's body. "You need to heal from whatever Springtrap has done to you."
"Yep…and because I could get in the way." Darren sighed as he turned to walk towards Parts and Service. I'll got through one of your rooms to reach Rockstar Row and go to my room. I refuse to go to Saphira's office."
"That is a good idea. Maybe one of us should go with you," Pigpatch offered as he watched Darren limp. He was not walking very fast, but the man shook his head. "Why not? I do not think it is wise of you to be walking around like that, Darren."
"It is not like I have a choice, Pigpatch." Darren grimaced as he stopped, hunching a little as he leaned on the wall. "I have always had to heal on my own. Before…Springtrap used to use something to heal the wounds quickly…but not this time." He had sweat dripping from his skin due to the intensity of the pain he was feeling. "He has not given me a single drop of painkiller." He looked at them as they walk by him. "Just…fix Freddy. I will…I will be okay. I will get back to my room."
Saphira wanted to help him, but that was asking for trouble. She looked at Freddy as Monty and Bonnie carried him to the doors into Parts and Service before looking back at Darren. "I hope you will be okay, Darren. Even if things have changed, you are the only one who can maintain the animatronics properly. I cannot do that. I can fix Freddy because my stomach won't be in the way of his neck. But everything else…"
"I know…but…" Darren took a deep breath as he thought about it. "Oh…" He rubbed his chest with a frown. "Damnit! He…my ribs are metal now too…" Saphira felt even sadder for him. He was becoming more animatronic than human. "If you find that kid…" He grimaced again and placed a hand on his head. "He…he might be good…at robotics…"
Saphira did not know if that was something that Gregory learned through Springtrap, but she wasn't going to question him. But Saphira knew that Darren's life was now essentially in Springtrap's hands. He had the perfect puppet at the moment, and Saphira felt sorry for him. "I guess we will do our best. If you cannot maintain the animatronics…I'll figure out something."
Mr Hippo gave Saphira a worried expression. He would prefer if she did not do the maintenance on them right now, but hearing what Darren was saying did make him think she would need to. Her stomach was too big now though, so another animatronic might have to be in the cylinder to assist Saphira. She might be talented with robotics, but she couldn't do it alone. Entering Parts and Service, Monty and Bonnie carried Freddy over to the cylinder and waited for Saphira to walk over to the computer and hit the repair prompt for Freddy.
She also needed to check his system as well, and she would do that once the wire is fixed. She hoped that his system did not reboot or anything, as she would hate to know that his memory has been wiped and she is a stranger to him. That would be awful, and she would not know how to make him fall in love with her again. That was the only downside of loving an animatronic. They could always end up forgetting because of an error. And unfortunately, Saphira did not have an external computer to check on his system, and the cylinder did not have one within it too. She wished it had one.
When the door opened, the two animatronics carried Freddy inside and sat his body onto the chair. At this point, Freddy's eyes roll slightly, with his right eye pointing downward and his left eye turned to the right. Without the animatronic being in control, the eyes just rolled on their own. Saphira wiped her face clean of tears so they would not get in the way of her work. She turned her head as she saw Darren walking by. He smiled at her and began walking up the stairs to go through one of the bot's rooms. She smiled back a little before walking into the cylinder. She was surprised Bonnie stayed in the cylinder as Monty walked out.
She looked at him curiously with a raised eyebrow. "You don't have to stay in here, Bonnie. You can leave." She grabbed down a console to begin the usual scan of Freddy's body, even though she knew what the issue was. She wished she had her mini flashlight with her though, as that was the only thing that was missing for her.
"I know." Bonnie looked at Freddy with worry as Saphira waited for the scan to be complete. "But Freddy and I have been best friends for years, Saphira. I may not know how to fix him, but I would like to believe he knows that I am here." Saphira almost felt emotional at Bonnie's comment as she was fully away of how close the two of them were. "Plus, I think it is best that one of us stay in here with you, Saphira."
"Alright. I will accept it. You being here means a lot. I am sure Freddy will be very happy when he wakes up and learns you stayed with him." Saphira looked at the console as it completed the scan, and the only error it showed as in his neck and near his head itself. "Hmm…I guess I should remove the casing for his face."
She pressed some buttons and the arms lowered from above to remove Freddy's face. She looked at the eyes that were still awkward, and she quickly fixed them by moving them back into the correct position and closed his eyelids. She took a deep breath and pressed button to retrieve tools and spare parts, jumping a little when the trays lowered. She had forgotten how sudden the machine in here could be, and she needed to get used to it all over again.
Without the flashlight though, it will be a bit harder. "Hmm…I didn't bring my little flashlight…I haven't used it in a while…"
"Do you still have your normal flashlight?" Bonnie asked curiously as Saphira some tools that she needed. She nodded and the animatronic walked around to Saphira's side and held out his hand to her. "Let me hold it. I can shine the line on Freddy's neck for you."
She smiled at him and grabbed out her flashlight. "You would do that." He nodded affirmatively and she hands him the flashlight. "Thank you. Make sure to keep it raised above my head. I don't need you shining it directly into my eyes."
Bonnie chuckled softly as he turned on the flashlight and aimed the light at Freddy's neck. "I will make sure you will not go blind."
Having the extra light was so helpful. Saphira could see the wire clearer and she would have no problem replacing the wire. With Freddy powered down, it will be safe for her to remove the wire at the moment. She knew he would need to be recharged once this was done, but maybe at low power for the start. Her stomach was thankfully not pressing too hard on the table with where she was standing, but it was still somewhat in the way as Saphira leaned down and got to work.
It was going to be a very delicate task of removing the wire because it was a major wiring she needed to replace. She first had to disconnect it at the base of the neck without damaging the other wires. And used a specialized tool to disconnect the wires. It took a little bit of time as she made sure to not put much pressure on the wire and it soon was disconnected. When she pulled the damaged wire away, she made sure nothing was left behind to be snagged on by the other main wire and she sighed in relief when nothing snagged. It will be easier to attach the new wire at least.
She grabbed the new wire and began connecting it to the base first. She again used the specialized tool to connect the wiring carefully, and making sure it was all connected so Freddy does not experience this kind of malfunction again. Once the bottom was connected, she guides the top back of the wire to connect to the port into the animatronic brain. She had to carefully connected the wires into it again. Without the connection, Freddy wouldn't be able to function at all. There were other wires connected to the back of his head, but when one part of the animatronic malfunctions, the whole thing malfunctions.
As she was working on the wire, Saphira jumped as she heard the sound of something. She glanced at around and looked at Bonnie who also seemed surprised. "Did you hear something? It sounded like a sneeze."
"I…heard something…" Bonnie was very confused as he glanced around. "The fact you heard it too at least puts my mind at ease. I wasn't sure if I was going crazy or not." The other animatronics notice that both Bonnie and Saphira were confused, but as they did not hear it, they did not know what the two were talking about. "Hmm…odd."
Saphira nodded in agreement and looked back at her work. She didn't want to get too distracted by random things happening, and if what they heard wasn't a sneeze, it could have been a hiss from the cylinder itself. So Saphira pushed that aside as she focused on connecting the top part of the wire. She was almost done when she had been distracted, and she felt a little silly in letting herself being distracted by something that could be explained by something within the cylinder itself.
With her concentration now back on track, she managed to connect the wire properly and she was relieved. She couldn't prevent anything from hitting his neck if something were to happen again, but she at least fixed the wiring. But she checked it closely, and made sure to triple check the wire so that it would not snap off randomly. She stepped back with a sigh, wiping her forehead as she felt a bit of sweat and check Freddy's power level. It was very low, but she connected the charging cable to Freddy and put his casing back on his face.
She wanted to give Freddy at least half of his power so he would power back up with no problem. If he had full power, his system might get overloaded after the malfunction, and that was not a good thing. When Freddy wakes up, and seems fine, he can use his recharge station in his room to fully charge himself. Until then, she would only give him half the power. And with that, she was able to turn the animatronic back on.
She heard the hum within his chest, and she smiled, knowing his system was back on, but he himself was still out. She suspected he was in rest mode, but she couldn't know that until she checked on his system. She really needed to figure out if there was a way to modify the cylinder at all. It was extremely inconvenient to need to go the animatronic mainframe just to check his system when she could have a tool for that here.
She went through the diagnostic procedure next, and she smiled as seeing the animatronic move properly again with the diagnostic procedure was great. But she of course won't know until Freddy actually wakes up. She could not even predict how long that was going to take either. All she knew was that his body was online again, and it could be any moment that he wakes up. Once she finished the procedure though, it was pretty much complete.
She took a deep breath and grabbed the flashlight from Bonnie before she walked out to complete the repair log. "You did a fantastic job, Saphira," Mr Hippo compliments gently with a smile. She looked at him with teary eyes before she turned to the computer. He placed his hand on her shoulder gently, making her flinch. "I think we should wait until you check Freddy's system before we move him to his room."
Saphira nodded in agreement, but she was silent about it. She was still very upset over seeing Freddy collapse on stage. She was glad that nothing else seemed to be damaged from his fall. She completed the repair log on the computer before she turned to make her way to her office. Foxy opened the door for her and she smiled at him as she appreciated his gesture, but she was still silent. They all could tell she was very upset, and the emotions were still incredibly raw. She was still fighting with herself as she did not want to bawl her eyes out while she still had to do something.
When she arrived to her room, she made her way to the animatronic mainframe after taking a quick glance around the room. She moved as quickly as she could into the mainframe room, huffing in irritation at how warm the mainframe room really was. She made her way over to Freddy's system and took a moment to stare at it. She read through what was on the screen and saw he was in rest mode. His memories were still intact, and everything was functioning normally. She placed her hand on her chest as she sighed in relief.
She lifts her wrist to speak with Mr Hippo. "Hey, Mr Hippo, you guys can move Freddy to his room now. His system is fine." She leaned down as she read some more of the screen. "Mmhmm, looks like there seemed to be an overload of information somehow when the wire tore some more. But he has his memories, and he is okay. He just needs to wake up."
"Alright, we will take him to his room and lay him on the couch," Mr Hippo responded gently to Saphira. "We will make sure the curtains remain closed as well. We don't need idiot guests trying to wake him up while he's down. I am actually very surprised by the behavior of some of the guests tonight. I have never experienced that before."
"To be fair, none of us have collapsed on stage before," Bonnie said gently as he listened in on the conversation. "Besides, this is only a one-time thing to happen…hopefully…and Vanessa is now helping with the guests."
"Well…" Saphira glanced at the cameras through her Fazwatch and she saw Vanessa was still looking. She seemed much more frustrated right now. Saphira guessed Gregory used the commotion to get away. "She's not."
Mr Hippo sighed in irritation. "I guess they care more about locating that kid than dealing with rowdy guests. Too bad you cannot do anything right now."
Saphira knew that. But the pizzaplex has emptied a lot so quickly with the sudden end to the show. She wasn't surprised. People were disappointed, and being the first midweek show, something like this happened. Saphira at least was glad Freddy did not collapse in a birthday party. That would have been worse, and he could have fallen on a person. At least being on the stage, he didn't hurt anyone. But with people leaving quickly, that meant that this place will be quieter sooner than later.
Saphira left the mainframe as she wanted to head back to Parts and Service. There were a lot of people in Rockstar Row, and they were crowded around Freddy's room at the moment to get a glimpse of the animatronic. So going through Rockstar Row from her office was not an option. She couldn't count on people not trying to barge into Freddy's room. She currently had his door locked anyway, so no one can get in, and Freddy wouldn't be able to get out at this time.
When she reached Parts and Service, she smiled when she saw Chica, Monty and Happy Frog waiting for her. The others had already left Parts and Service to take Freddy to his room. Monty lifts his glasses as he looked at her kid. "You did good, kid." She raised an eyebrow when he called her kid. It has been a while since he has done that. "Freddy will be okay. You still got that smart mind of yours. Even with that big belly of yours, you succeeded."
Saphira scoffed in amusement at Monty's comments to her and she hugged him suddenly, making him left up his arms in surprise. "Thank you, Monty. I needed to hear some kind words. I am on the verge of a breakdown if I am honest."
"Oh…will some chocolate help?" Chica asked curiously as Monty wrapped his arms around Saphira gently. "Or, just anything sweet?" Saphira grimaced and shook her head. "Hmm, not feeling that, huh? Well, I hope that we can think of something to help you."
"Just by being here…that is all I want. I don't feel like eating…I feel a bit sick, if I am honest." Saphira grimaced with a grunt as she felt a sharp kick. "And that was a lot of help."
Monty himself was surprised as he felt the kick against his own stomach. "Hmm, they certainly are strong. Even I felt that." She nodded and turned to walk up the stairs. "Hmmph, I think you deserve to be off your feet." She was about to ask what he meant when he scooped her up, making her yelp in surprise. "There you go…unless you are feeling the need to be sick all over me."
Saphira smiled at him and shook her head. "No, I am not going to throw up. I am just…feeling sick because of how much emotion I am feeling right now. Plus…my back, feet and legs hurt…so I will definitely take the chance to being carried around. Thank you, Monty." She kissed his cheek and he smiled at her. "I kind of want to stay with Freddy, but I am not sure how long he will take to come back. Mr Hippo, I know, he took over five minutes and he scared me to death when I though he was offline for good."
"You already know Freddy's body is online, so you need not worry, little lady," Monty said confidently as he walked up the stairs towards Freddy's door. Chica and Happy Frog follow him as they too wanted to reach Freddy's room. "I think he should boot back up properly in about an hour. I do not know if we should consider keeping an eye on Darren or not."
Saphira personally did not wish to keep an eye for Darren at the moment. But she understood why he would feel that way. "I will think on that. I just want to see Freddy and…give myself a moment with him while he's unconscious. Then I might see about just watching Vanessa and see if Darren is doing something we should be concerned of. But I really, really don't want to focus on anything else but Freddy. I hope you understand."
"Of course," Happy Frog said affirmatively in a gentle tone. "I understand. You want to be with him. And to be honest…how far along are you now? Over nine months now, right? Maybe nearly ten?" Saphira nodded silently, though she was not sure what Happy Frog was trying to say. "I am not saying this to annoy you, but…you have started to look different since the incident. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there are changes happening."
Saphira wasn't entirely surprised about that. As she was feeling heavier and sluggish today, it was a sign birth was not far away. She guessed within the next week or two at the very least. It was scary because she knew what was likely going to happen. And there wasn't much time to set up the nursery either, but she would certainly do her best in the time she had at the moment. Plus, Saphira had thought about setting up the other spare bedroom as a room for Gregory, but she wasn't sure just yet.
They reach the elevator and Chica pressed the button before they step in. "I think I will definitely take everyone's advice and take a step back. I really am close now for birth…which is why I look different. My body's preparing…and I am scared about it."
"We know. And we will be here for you." Chica rubbed Saphira's shoulder gently with a smile. "We are your family, after all. Not like the ones who tried to kill you. And if we have to help deliver the babies, so be it."
Saphira knew that. She also hoped that they could be done with Springtrap before than, but she really did not have any confidence in that. Things were just too tense right now for things to really settle down, and Saphira knew it. She pushed those thoughts back though. She really did not want to think about Springtrap right now. He was the least of her concern as all she wanted to do was to see Freddy right now and just be there for him. At least for a short time in the hopes he would wake up.
The elevator dings as it reached the right floor and opened into the back room. Saphira smiled as she saw the other animatronics gathered around, waiting for her. She looked at them as Monty walked in. "Maybe you guys should go back to your rooms…but I would like company too…"
"I will gladly stay with you, Saphira," Mr Hippo interrupts gently as Monty walked to the door. It opened and Saphira looked over at the couch. "I would be happy to ensure that you are not lonely."
"Thank you, dad." Saphira did not look at him and Monty lowered her feet to the ground. Freddy was laying on the couch and he looked like he was relaxed. But he was still not awake. She walked over to Freddy and looked down before she carefully got onto her knees. "Oh, Freddy…" She placed her hand on his cheek, caressing gently. She looked at the window to see the curtains were closed, but she could hear people outside, but she ignored them as she looked back at Freddy. "I am sorry I didn't decide to repair that wire sooner…it wasn't your fault, Freddy. I hope you wake up soon." She leaned in and kissed his lips gently, letting her tears fall. "I love you."
Saphira could hear some of the animatronics leaving already, and she was okay with that. She turned her head slightly and saw Bonnie walking over to her. "I wouldn't mind spending time with you as well, Saphira. I kind of don't want to leave you alone." He glanced towards the window and looked around. "I am afraid I cannot seem to see where that kid has gone. There are too many people."
"I know…" Saphira laid her cheek against Freddy's lips, letting more tears fall from her eyes. "But Vanessa thought I was looking for him in atrium…and she threatened me again…" Bonnie softened his expression and dropped to one knee as she began to sob. "I am so tired, Bonnie. All my life…I have been…unhappy and tortured…but you all changed that. And I am still wondering if I will ever be happy…"
"You will be happy, super star," Bonnie said to Saphira gently. It was weird hearing Bonnie call her super star, but he does say it from time to time. He placed his hand on her back and rubbed lightly, still aware of the injuries to her skin. "We just need to work on it. But as you need to take a backseat on this, we will do what we can to help you."
Saphira believed him and she did hope they would be able to do something. But her confidence was not high. It wasn't against them though. It was about Vanessa and Springtrap. At this point, Saphira didn't care about what happened to Vanessa. She could be killed at this point, and Saphira would not shred a tear. Especially as it seemed like Vanessa actively as helping Springtrap, and she did not appear to show any kind of remorse for it too. Saphira did not know how it was going to end though.
"I know you guys will. But…we don't know what will happen." Saphira took a deep breath and looked at Freddy's closed eyes before moving to kiss his forehead. "I wish you were awake now, Freddy." She sniffled as some more sobs escape her lips. "You scared me…but I love you, Freddy." She rubbed his cheeks with a smile. "Please wake up soon."
The animatronics were all sad for Saphira and Freddy. Seeing how Saphira was crying over Freddy made Mr Hippo remember what happened to him. Freddy was lucky it wasn't as bad as what he had gone through. He could see the love pouring from Saphira to her beloved animatronic. He was happy the two of them were compatible with each other. But he knew she couldn't stay. As much as she would want to to stay, and be here for when he wakes up.
But Saphira managed to force herself to stand after a few minutes and turned to Bonnie and Mr Hippo with an embarrassed expression. "Um…I need to use the bathroom…bad…"
Bonnie grinned a little and wiped Saphira's tears with his thumb before scooping her up to carry her out. "I guess when nature calls, you have no choice." She raised an amused eyebrow as Mr Hippo pressed the button to the elevator. "Um…did I say that wrong?"
She chuckled softly and shook her head. "Nope. You are correct. But in my case, one of the twins moved and pressed down on my bladder. I am holding, but…I really don't want to pee on myself."
Roxy grimaced and shook her head. "The last thing we need is for that to happen. You already puked on me, the last thing we need is for Bonnie to get his body covered in pee. Ew…" She grimaced and shook her head as the doors open to the elevator. She gestured for Bonnie to go ahead of her. "I am going to wait."
Bonnie chuckled at her as Mr Hippo stepped in with him. "You are always so funny, Roxy. She won't do that." Roxy just folded her arms as the doors closed and Bonnie looked at Saphira. "I think Monty and Chica might come to give you some company as well, Saphira. We all can tell you need it."
She was happy to hear about that. But Saphira did consider going back to Freddy's room to wait for him to wake up, but she was curious to check out what Vanessa and Darren could be doing right now. But she would learn that Vanessa was still looking for Gregory, and as it was after nine-thirty now, the guests were really starting to pile out now. And the bots have said they could not see Gregory right now. But they all said that with the other guests still here, they struggle to see him for now. And Darren was in his room sleeping for the time being. So for the moment, everything seemed okay.
Meanwhile, two hours later…
Opening his eyes slowly as they come back online, Freddy glanced around and saw that he was back in his room. He was confused as he sat up on the couch as he noticed he was low on power, and that his memory was a bit fuzzy. But as he sat there and allowed his memories to return, he realized that the last memory he had was that he was on stage for the midweek show. His system indicated to him that a malfunction occurred, and he was likely brought back to his room with the help of the other animatronics. He was surprised that Saphira was not here though.
"Show time already?" Freddy stood up from the couch, rubbing the side of his neck as he no longer felt the itch. "I am experiencing a malfunction." He walked over to his vanity, looking at himself in the mirror. "The recharge cycle is not complete…and I must have really scared Saphira for collapsing like that on stage. I guess I had better…"
"Shhh! Will you shut up?!"
Freddy was startled upon hearing a child's voice. "Who said that?" He glanced around as he could not see the owner of the voice.
"I did, I'm down here."
He glanced down, but he still did not see the child. "Down where? I still do not see you?" He looked around to try and locate the child.
"Okay, listen…" Freddy was not sure if he was going to like what he was going to hear, but his mind was starting to get curious about the child. "You were sleeping, so I opened the stomach hatch and climbed inside."
He widened his eyes in shock, glancing down at his stomach and placing his hand on it. "My stomach hatch?" That was definitely the last place he would expect a child to be. Though he knew Saphira was almost small enough to fit inside, though they have not actually tested that yet. "That place is reserved for oversized birthday cakes and pinatas. It is not a safe play area!" Freddy turned away from the mirror and opened the hatch, pulling the child out from him. He turned the child around and Freddy recognized him immediately. "There you are." He scanned the boy, acting like he did not know him and placed him down on the ground. "Scanning complete. How odd…your guest profile is unknown to me. Who are you?"
Seeing the boy close up for the first time, Freddy was actually happy to see him. He is wearing a dark, blue t-shirt with two white lines across the chest, a white undershirt, beige shorts and red and white sneakers. He also had a band aid on his cheek, and Freddy could see a visible red mark on the right side of his head from where he had been smacked by Saphira's father. The boy's brown eyes look up at Freddy nervously, and he could see he didn't trust him. But Freddy didn't even know how or when the boy even climbed into his stomach hatch. That seemed strange to him.
"I-I…I-I'm Gregory," The boy finally responded to the animatronic.
Freddy internally smiled and knew he had to bring him to Saphira. But he also did not want Gregory to run away from him. "Gregory, hmm…I will notify the main office." A strange sound came from Freddy as he acted like he was trying to reach the main office. "Hmm…connection error. I cannot connect to the main network."
"It's her!" Gregory responded in a frightened, hushed voice. "She cut you off! She's not going to let you call for help until she finds me!"
Freddy frowned a little as he listened to Gregory. He already knew he was talking about Vanessa, and with his new eyes, he could see her walking through Rockstar Row. "Who? Who is looking for you? Your mother?"
Gregory jumped suddenly, glancing back at the window and ran to hide behind Freddy. "Shh! I hear footsteps!"
Freddy was not surprised the kid ran behind him for protection. He smiled a little before looking at the window, and he could just see Vanessa walking by. He again had to pretend in front of the boy. His system told him that his door was locked from the outside, so getting Gregory to Saphira's office wouldn't happen that way. But he didn't want to take him on the elevator, as going straight to Parts and Service would only bring him closer to Springtrap. So getting him out of his room was a priority.
"That is the security guard, she can help."
"No, no!" Gregory responded quickly, huddling under the table a little more as he stared at the window fearfully. "I don't trust her!"
"Why not?"
"I don't know who she is, but she is trying to get me." He glanced up at Freddy with his worried, brown eyes. "Isn't there some other way for you to communicate with me, besides talking so loudly?"
Freddy smiled at the boy and opened his stomach hatch. "Take this. It is a novelty, Freddy Fazwatch. You were probably sitting on it this whole time."
The boy say the Fazwatch within Freddy's stomach hatch and he stood up to take it carefully. He looked at it before putting it on. "Thanks…"
"You are welcome, Gregory." Freddy glanced at the window for a moment and looked down at him. "I believe I should be able to escort you to the main entrance. However, I am unable to leave this room. But you should have no problem." Gregory frowned at the animatronic as he was still nervously at the moment. "There is a vent in my back-room area that can reach. There are some boxes piled in there with spare parts and merchandise that has been store in there you can climb on. If you have a Photo Pass you can let me out from the outside, or find one at the convenience counter near my room."
Freddy walked Gregory to the door and it opened. The boy looked into the room and shivered nervously. "It…It's pretty dark in there…"
"There is nothing to be scared of," Freddy responded to the boy kindly, taking his hand and walking him into the room. He walked him over to the boxes and Gregory looked at the vent nervously. "You can do it. I will be waiting for you right here. If you run into any trouble, let me know and I will ensure you get help." The boy hesitated for a moment before he began climbing the boxes. "That's it, Gregory. You have nothing to be scared of." Gregory looked back at Freddy before smiling a little and crawling into the vent. Freddy did not know if the boy would come back, but he already got the sense that Gregory was trusting him. Once Gregory had crawled further into the vent, Freddy opened the communication to the other animatronics and Saphira. "I apologize to everyone for what happened tonight on stage. But I have something I need to tell you all. Roxy, Monty, Chica, Foxy, Bonnie, you guys need to make sure you don't react to anything right now. And I'll quickly explain why."
I don't know if any of you FNAF fans have heard, but be on the look out for the new movie trailer. It might be dropping in a few hours. So excited!
