Standing in the Protective Cylinder beside the animatronic bed, Saphira watched closely as she was instructing Gregory how to perform a routine maintenance check on Bonnie. The boy had fallen asleep the night before, so she couldn't get around to teaching him. So after the weekly rehearsals, they were now in Parts and Service. Darren was currently unaccounted for today, for some reason, which has left Saphira's no choice but to deal with the maintenance. Bonnie's jaw hinge on the right side of his face had loosened suddenly during the day, and he had to be returned to his room for safety. He couldn't participate in rehearsal because of it.

Currently, his face casings were off, and Gregory had a small flashlight in his mouth. Saphira had got him one during the day as it was always a convenient tool to have. He had two tools in his hand and was focused on tightening the hinge. It did not need replacing, and the wires were fine. So there wasn't anything unusual, just that the joint in the hinge had loosened suddenly. Saphira had shown Gregory how to turn the pain receptors off, so Bonnie was relaxed. His left eye twitched as due to the uncomfortable feeling of his jaw being prodded and he could feel the joint being tightened.

Saphira watched him closely. Freddy was in the cylinder as well, mostly to create a shield in case an endo peered through the Parts and Service windows. The other animatronics were gathered around the cylinder to do the same. Saphira hoped it would deter Springtrap from seeing Gregory. It was the only idea she had to hide him while teaching him how to maintain the animatronics.

She smiled as he was doing very well. "Almost there. Don't tightened too much, or Bonnie won't be able to move his jaw at all." Gregory just nodded as he remained in concentration. "Good boy. You're doing a wonderful just for your first maintenance work."

Gregory did not react as he focused. Saphira watched as the boy carefully tightened the jaw hinge and he soon tightened it enough. He pulled his hands away as he was satisfied and he checked the other side of the jaw before he returned to the other side to turn the pain receptors back on. He at least knew that Bonnie won't be uncomfortable anymore now that his jaw was fixed. He turned off the flashlight and stepped back to grab the console to put his face casing back on and go through the diagnostic process.

Saphira was smiling at she watching him. She had only just talked through the process of what to do with Gregory, and he had already seemed to get it. She watched him as he followed the diagnostic sequence on the console to ensure it would go smoothly. She didn't want him to get scared if he messed up and caused Bonnie to react badly to it. She remembers exactly what that was like when she made a mistake. It scared the life out of her.

Gregory sighed in relief when he completed the diagnostic process. She looked at Saphira with a smile. "I did it."

"Way to go, super star!" Freddy exclaimed enthusiastically with a smile on his face. "You did a fantastic job for your first maintenance job. Nice job! Now all we have to do is complete the log on the computer. Saphira will show you how."

Gregory smiled as Saphira walked towards the door, and he followed her out of the cylinder with Freddy behind them. He walked over to the computer and Saphira was about to tell him what to do, but Gregory read the screen and he finished the maintenance log before she could say anything. Saphira was a little surprised, but she chuckled softly as she was also very amused and she was happy that Gregory worked it out so quickly.

"I am impressed, Gregory," Saphira said in a happy tone. "You have been able to go through your first maintenance job without much help from me. You really are a talented young man." Gregory giggled and looked at Bonnie as the animatronic walked out of the cylinder. "Hopefully if we can get this mess all sorted, you can finish your school."

Gregory immediately made a face and groaned. "But school is so boring! I don't want to go to school. I would rather stay here all day, every day."

Saphira chuckled softly at the boy. "I know. But without school, you can't really do much. Even if you just finish high school, you will at least be able to feel good about yourself. Trust me, I finished school so I could escape and I ended up here."

"Saphira is right, Gregory," Mr Hippo said in an agreeing tone. "Having education is essential to do well in life. You may not want to be here when you reach adulthood, and that is okay. If you decide to do something else with your life, you will find it much harder without the education. Not everyone is able to become wealthy from dropping out." Saphira smiled as Mr Hippo seemed to be in the mood for rambling on. "I know there are lots of successful people who have done well after dropping out of high school. But in my opinion, at least getting your high school diploma will be essential for the rest of your life."

Gregory listened to the animatronic with a frown and he sighed. "Yeah, yeah…" He looked down at the ground for a moment before looking up at Saphira. "Who is the next animatronic who needs maintenance?"

"That would be me, petit homme," Orville said as he stepped forward with a smile, nodding politely at the boy. "No real issue, just a clanking sound coming from my stomach hatch. Probably some kind of joint issue or something."

Gregory smiled and nodded as he understood, turning to the computer to go through the steps. Saphira hovered a little as she watched to make sure he made no mistake. He did not and the cylinder opened for Orville to walk inside and sit down. The boy walked in, and both Saphira and Freddy walk in with him so they could observe him. He grabbed the console to begin the scan of Orville's body to find any errors that would need to be fixed.

"How were you able to do all the animatronics, Saphira?" Gregory asked curiously, looking at her. "The rehearsals took thirty minutes, and it was forty-five minutes to fix the jaw issue on Bonnie. And there are so many animatronics. How do you do it?"

"Truthfully, I just go with whoever has an issue. We don't have two cylinders, and I am one of the only ones who can fix the animatronics very well, so it pretty much makes things difficult. So I go with whoever needs the maintenance the most. Then the next night, I will do the next lot." Gregory listened intently as he was still super curious. "Does that make sense?" He nodded. "Good."

Gregory looked at the console as the scanning of Orville's body was finished. Saphira looked at it, and it seemed the errors that came up were just from Orville's stomach hatch. Gregory opened the hatch, and they all heard the clanking sound. He turned on his flashlight too look at the joints closely, and Saphira noticed the issue straight away. There were pieces of confetti stuck in the hatch joints, and the right side seemed to have bent joints, which needed replacing. Gregory noticed the confetti first, so he got to work on removing them.

Saphira could not help but look at her Fazwatch to check the cameras. She wanted to see where Vanessa was. It took her a moment before she found Vanessa, and she widened her eyes in shock as she saw that Vanessa was wearing the bunny costume. She was in the day care, and there were two staff bots holding Sun against one of the play structures. She seemed to be interacting the bot for information, and Sun was struggling against the bot at this time. She appeared to be holding a prod in her hand.

She jumped and gasped as she watched Vanessa suddenly stab the rob into Sun's right shoulder joint, and she saw the blue sparks of electricity course through Sun. "Oh no!" Freddy looked at Saphira curiously, and both Gregory and Orville were observing her as they were concerned by her gasp. "Vanessa is torturing Sun."

"She's what?!" Freddy leaned slightly and Saphira tilts her wrist to show him. He widened his eyes in shock. "She must be trying to get information. Maybe you should reach out to her."

"And say what?!" Saphira felt her heartrate increase as she became increasingly nervous. "What could I possibly say? To me, this screams she believes we have Gregory."

"I guess." Freddy rubbed the back of his neck nervously and hummed thoughtfully. "Well…we cannot allow her to torture him. Sun isn't like Monty. He can get broken easily."

"I know…but I cannot confront her right now either…" Saphira felt tears in her eyes and shook her head. "This is so horrible."

Gregory turned from Orville as he looked at Saphira with a worried expression. "Maybe…m-maybe I should…let her find me…"

Saphira and Freddy were shocked by his suggestion and Freddy shook his head. "Absolutely not, super star. That is brave, but she will kill you if you reveal yourself now. I know you want to help, Sun. So do we…but we cannot forsake your life."

"But…he is being tortured because of me…"

"No, Sun is being tortured because of Springtrap," Saphira corrected bluntly as tears roll down her face. "This is awful…" She couldn't watch any further of the treatment Sun was being given. "I don't know what to do."

"If we go, she will turn the staff bots on us," Mr Hippo said as he and the others listen. They were all horrified by what was happening to Sun right now. They did not want that continue. "And then we could all be destroyed. This is quite the…situation we have."

Saphira knew that, and she felt awful that they could not help him. She did not know if Sun is going to spill everything or not, but she was extremely worried for him. Especially if the electrocution that Vannesa was doing to Sun was doing damage to him. She looked at her Fazwatch, forcing herself to watch as the woman got into Sun's face, waving the prod in a circle to show him she was serious. She could tell that Sun was terrified, and she knew she could not just sit and do nothing.

She opened the communicate line to Vanessa, and signalled everyone to be quiet. "Stop, Vanessa!" Saphira shouts into the Fazwatch, with her voice cracking slightly as she yelled. "Please stop! I don't know what you are trying to do, but you could cause serious damage to Sun if you keep jabbing him with that prod. Please stop!"

She responded with chuckles in her distorted voice. "If you want to keep something hidden, one must be forced to tell the truth."

"What are you talking about?!" Saphira snapped angrily. "If you mean the kid, I haven't seen him!" Gregory listened to Saphira quietly. He did not want to continue working on Orville while Saphira shouts at Vanessa. "And Sun may not have seen him recently either. Why the hell are you hurting him?!"

"This is a serious game we are playing, Saphira," Vanessa responded simply. "You do not know what is happening. He has seen what I am after, but he claims it has been a while. I do not believe him. If you do know the truth, play your piece and tell the truth."

"I am telling the truth!" She felt she was trembling as she felt desperate to stop the pain Sun was going through. "I don't know where he is. And…and if Sun is unable to perform correctly tomorrow, I will make sure you are charged for the damage, Vanessa." She knew that wasn't a huge threat, but she wanted to make it clear. "I do not have time to fix every single animatronic. I am not able to do it perfectly anymore. You are making my job harder!"

Vanessa just chuckled at Saphira, making the girl frown in frustration. "Do not worry, my dear friend. I will not harm Sun enough to make him unable to perform. He will be fine. And you already know who will cover the cost of his repair. Your petty, little threat does not scare me. Focus on the maintenance while I keep playing."

Saphira, Gregory and the animatronics cover their ears as a loud, hitch pitched sound suddenly screamed through the communication line, making them all grimace. It forced Saphira to shut off the communication line and take deep breaths as she felt as though she had failed Sun for not being able to convince Vanessa to stop. She sniffled a little and looked at Freddy. He was worried about this too. Vanessa could do the same thing to any of them, and he knew it. Saphira knew it. They were very worried.

"Well…we must be careful about being alone with Vanessa now," Bonnie said slowly as he realized what they had to do. He looked at Gregory as he saw the boy was trembling a little. "Don't worry, kiddo. You let us do the worrying for you. You have a job to finish with Orville. You can do it, super star."

Gregory was still nervous, but he nodded and turned to Orville to work on his stomach hatch. Saphira watched Gregory, though she really had a very hard time concentrating. She was focused on Sun. She was still watching the cameras on the Fazwatch and she could see Vanessa still speaking to Sun. She stabbed him again with the prod, which made the animatronic collapse to the ground and shudder in pain. She really wanted to storm to the day care and stop Vanessa from inflicting more harm on the poor clown animatronic. But she had to remain and oversee the completion of Orville's maintenance. And the animatronics could also be attacked, which was why they chose to remain.

She stepped closer to Freddy and leaned against him as she wrapped her arm around him. He gently wrapped his arms around her as well to give her some kind of comfort, even though he was certain that there was not much that he could do to make her feel better. He could tell how upset she was by this, and he was upset about it too. He did not want this to distract Gregory though. He was doing a marvellous job of going through the maintenance. He removed the confetti and he closed the hatch again, hearing the clanking sound and realized that it was more than just than.

He reopened it and took a closer look and spotted the bent joint. Gregory hummed as he walked around to the other side and grabbed tools to use to replace the joint. He was not sure if he should turn the pain receptors off, but he decided to do that anyway so Orville was more comfortable while he worked on fixing the hatch. Gregory pushed the thoughts of what Vanessa was doing to Sun to the back of his mind to focus, and he was doing extremely well.

Saphira was very impressed by how he thought of turning the pain receptors off, and how he was carefully working to replace the bent joint. She didn't have to give much instruction at all. She simply watched and he was able to do it. He really was talented with robotics. She could almost let him do it on his own if his life was not in danger. It did allow herself to think, though Saphira was starting to feel lightheaded. Mostly because of all that is happening right now in the day care. She looked at the Fazwatch again and saw that Vanessa had vacated the day care with her staff bots, and she was relieved.

But she wanted to make sure that Sun was okay, so she opened up a link to him. "Sun? Are you…um…I hope she didn't…I don't know what to say. Other than I am so sorry for what she did to you." Freddy listened to Saphira and gently pulled her closer to him as they waited for a response.

They heard some static in response before Sun began to speak. "N-No…I-I am sorry…" Saphira tensed a little as she was worried he exposed them. "I…I-I t-t-told h-her that I-I did s-s-see Gregory…" The boy looked up from the hatch with a fearful expression. "B-But I-I d-d-did not tell her you knew." She sighed in relief as that was good. "I-I m-merely s-s-said th-that I s-s-saw him in th-the back hallways…th-that's it…"

He was in a lot of pain based upon the tone of his voice. Saphira felt awful for him, giving what he was forced to endure. "Well…hopefully she won't look in my apartment…I have no doubt Springtrap has seen Darren's memories, and is aware of it, and he's told Vanessa about it. If she discovers the bedroom…she will not be silly."

"I-I know…but…sh-she had m-me cornered! I, I-I could not t-t-take it anymore!" Sun sighed with a light sob. "I'm s-sorry! She m-may not ch-check y-your room…b-but she's o-on her way to you…a-a-and s-so is an endo."

Saphira widened her eyes and looked at Gregory as the boy froze. "You're almost done, Gregory. If you can finish that hinge, I can run the diagnostics and finish the log." The boy nodded and looked back down at the hatch and began to move a bit faster. Saphira then responded to Sun. "It is not your fault, Sun. Vanessa is…in am not sure what to think about her anymore. No one here is blaming you. But thanks for the heads up."

"I a-a-am sorry…y-you have t-to pause maintenance b-because of me…" Sun was so guilty about it. "I-I w-will g-get myself to my Parts a-and Service. I…just…d-do your best…and I-I am sorry." He turned off his side of communication and Saphira hoped he would be okay.

"Alright!" She looked over at Gregory as the boy announced he was done. "Uh…if you can double check…" Saphira walked over to check the hatch joint and she looked at it to see it seemed fine. She touched it and wiggled it to feel it was firm. "Good. Climb into Freddy's stomach hatch…"

"Make it fast, kid," Roxy interrupts bluntly with a frown. "The are three endos approaching right at this moment." She looked through the glass as Gregory ran over to Freddy. The bot already his his stomach hatch open and helped the boy inside. "Good. Now we should just act as though we got nothing to hide. So put on your best acting face." She looked at Saphira as the girl nodded and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand. "Woah, you are not looking so good."

"I'll be fine." Saphira grabbed the console and began to run the diagnostics. "I will be fine." Freddy observed Saphira as he closed his stomach hatch as Gregory pulled his legs inside. He saw that she was pale in the face and she appeared to not be focused. "After Orville, I need to sit."

"Understood. And maybe we should return to your room, and let you rest." Freddy placed his hand on her shoulder gently and she shrugged slightly. "You do look tired. Maybe you should have some sleep."

"After what Vanessa just did?!" Saphira snapped at him, surprising the animatronic as she glared at him. She took a deep breath and looked away from him. "I don't know how I could possibly sleep while Sun is dragging himself to get himself fixed. And you now want me to rest!"

"For the sake of your strength and the twins, yes. Sun will be okay, but you are not so easily fixed like us." Saphira rolled her eyes and focused on going through the diagnostic process. "Your body is trembling…" Freddy scanned Saphira's body and he immediately knew she was lightheaded, and was likely going to faint. "You are doing well, super star…" He turned his head as he noticed movement at the corner of his eye and spotted the three endos staring through the windows of Parts and Service. Freddy just acted slightly surprised and looked back at Saphira. "Keep breathing deeply…"

"Shut up!" Saphira was irritated and upset right now. She grimaced as she felt a kick and she grumbled softly. "Ow…I guess these twins like to wind me up when I do not want anyone to bother me." She completed the diagnostic without failing, which made Freddy relax, and she turned to walk out of the cylinder. It took a moment for her to notice the endos when she walked out of the cylinder, but when she did, she blinked in surprise and stared for a moment before rolling her eyes and turning to the computer to complete the log. "I really need to sit down." She completed the log quickly and turned to glare at the endos. "What are you looking at?"

"Easy, Saphira…" Mr Hippo stepped closer to her with concern. "You are getting yourself all worked up. You need to calm down." She stepped away from him as he tried to hug her, which surprised him. "Uh, you really should sit down anyway."

Saphira sighed and was about to say something, but her light headedness seemed to get worse and she stumbled and lost her balance. "Woah!" Monty caught Saphira before she fell to the ground, picking her up as Orville walked out of the cylinder. "Easy there, girl. I know you are mad, and have every right to be. But…" Monty paused as he scanned her body. "Yeah, you really need to sit. It doesn't matter if Vanessa shows up. We have nothing to hide."

Saphira took deep breaths as she waved her hand to try cool herself down. She really felt the need to stop now. "Hmmph…I guess…I can go back to my room…"

"Are you having fun yet?" Saphira tensed as she heard the distorted voice and turned her head to see Vanessa skipping through the Parts and Service doors. She paused and seemed surprised to see Saphira in Monty's arms. "Ha! I see…you are playing the fainting spell. How fun!"

Saphira glared at Vanessa. "Am I having fun? Don't make me laugh!" She grits her teeth while ignoring the glances from the animatronics. "Tell me, I have been constipated for many months because the twins are pressing on my bowels. I am always feeling pressure on my bladder, and it hurts like hell when they kick. Not to mention how many times they've kicked my lungs and forced the air out of my lungs. Do you call that fun? You try and walk on my feet, and you might just enjoy the pain I feel. Tell me, do you call that fun?!" Vanessa was silent as she stared at Saphira. "Oh! And one other thing, if we had the kid here, you would see him. He's not here. And I don't know where the hell he is, alright?! Do I make myself clear?! I am tired, and I am this close…" She held up her right index finger and thumb to show how close she was to snapping. "This close to snapping your neck or something. Not only did you hurt a friend, but you're also annoying me! Were you going to threaten me or something if I didn't give you the answer that I want?"

Vanessa seemed to be very uncomfortable by the words that Saphira was practically shouting at her. She took this as Saphira's hormones taking over. This was definitely unlike her, plus she seemed very out of it, which is not like her. She huffed in amusement and bowed slightly. "All truths will be reveal. It is a game, after all. The traitor, the liar and the thief always loses. You could be any of those pieces!" She giggled softly as she reached behind her back. "I look forward to playing the last pieces, and let them fall as you lose." She suddenly thrusts her arm and Monty widened his eyes and jumped to the side quickly as a knife zoomed past him and the blade hits the side of the cylinder. Monty glared at Vanessa as she waved her fingers at them. "Your move."

She turned and skipped out of Parts and Service. Saphira took deep breaths as she was a little shocked by the knife throw, but she tilts her head back as she placed the back of her hand on her forehead. "I am done for the night, I think…I need to stop…oh, my head is spinning!"

"Easy there, girl. We will get you to your room in no time." Monty smiled at her and looked at Freddy. "Do you wish to carry her?" He nodded and Monty stepped closer so Freddy could take her. He glanced to see the endos were still watching. "Maybe a cool shower will do her some good."

"I agree." Mr Hippo watched Freddy turn and walked towards the office door to use as it was quicker than going through his room to reach the apartment. Mr Hippo, Pigpatch, Chica, Monty, Bonnie and Orville follow in worry, while also wanting to be there in case something happened. Happy Frog, Roxy, Foxy and Foxette stay back to keep an eye on the endos for now. "Her body is not okay. It's heating up, and it seems like she's going to…" He paused for a moment as he saw Saphira's eyes close as her body goes limp while her cheek rests on Freddy's upper arm. "Faint."

Freddy looked down at Saphira and smiled a little. "She will be okay. I know this isn't ideal, but…I guess she got very worked up. I don't blame her." Freddy grimaced as he thought back to seeing Sun being tortured. Mr Hippo opened the door for Freddy and he walked inside. "I fear Vanessa will use that prod on us."

"Yea, I think so too." Mr Hippo was not looking forward to that at all. "But we will fight. We will not let her win."

Monty nodded in agreement. He was definitely not going to let this woman hurt him. He knew she might, but he would fight, and he knew he would be stronger than her. Sun was the weakest of them all, so it wasn't surprising that Vanessa could get to him first. But he was concerned that Saphira will end up blaming herself for what happened to Sun. It was likely that she will, but he and all the others worry about it too.

"Um…can the others hear me while I am in this hatch?" Gregory asked Freddy nervously. "I…I kind of need to say something."

"I can open a private channel that only we can hear, Gregory." Freddy concentrated for a moment as they walk up the stairs. "There, you now have access to the private communication. You are free to tell us what is on your mind."

"Okay…well…I kind of feel guilty about Sun…but…" Gregory paused as he pondered on everything that has happened today. "I am starting to understand the situation better." He rubbed his legs nervously and took a deep breath. "It seems…we might need to stop just hovering."

"What do you mean by that?" Chica asked in confusion at his choice of words.

"Well, the way I see it, Saphira could give birth any day now. Which means we might need to take out the head of all this. And by that, I mean kill Springtrap." All the animatronics were surprised at the boy's suggestion. They have all considered it, but with the army of nightmare bots and endos at his disposal, they did not think it was possible. "Hear me out, okay? I think we can beat him. We just…need to play the game, I think…maybe even…" Gregory paused as he thought about it for a moment. "Hmm…I need to think on it more. Freddy, you are sensitive to sudden bright lights, right? Are the staff bots and endos sensitive too?"

"Yes, we all have that little flaw in our system," Freddy confirmed affirmatively. "Why do you ask?"

"Since flashlights don't do nothing, could…something else cause you to be blinded briefly?"

"The Faz Cam and Fazer Blaster should do that. Why are you asking?" Bonnie was very curious about the boy's line of thinking. "You sound like you have a plan?"

Gregory smiled a little and shrugged. "I don't know yet. I know this place well enough. But…maybe when you take Saphira back to her room, you can help me get one of those things."

"I can get you a Faz Cam, Gregory. A lot of them get confiscated in Monty Golf, and I know where they all are. In fact, I'll head there right now!" Monty turned to the elevator in the office as they enter the office. "As for the Fazer Blaster, you have to win that at Fazerblast."

"Which means you need a Party Pass ticket to even get in. Hmm…that might be risky, Gregory." Freddy was also very reluctant to leave Saphira alone. He wanted to be there in case she wakes up, and she sees he is not there. "I think you have a Party Pass in your room, Chica."

"I sure do! I can give him one right now…but…" Chica rubbed the back of her head as she too worried this was a bad idea. "I hope you realize, Gregory, Vanessa could see Freddy take you to Fazerblast. And he probably won't help you win."

"That would be cheating if I help him," Freddy responded quickly, making Gregory chuckle a little. "But…if you do have a plan, Gregory, we will work with you. But are you sure you even want to do this? We could still take you to the front when the doors reopen at six."

The boy nodded. "Yeah…Vanessa still searches for me outside the pizzaplex. I actually think that is where Darren is, since he isn't here tonight. So…if…if I have any hope of some kind of a normal life…drastic times call for drastic measures as they say."

Freddy agreed with that statement. But he was still incredibly unsure. The Faz Cam was easy to get, but he did know the Fazer Blaster was very useful compared to the Faz Cam. He carried Saphira to her apartment and placed her in her bed. Mr Hippo and Pigpatch opted to stay behind to watch her for him. The animatronic was reluctant, but he knew that Mr Hippo and Pigpatch would protect her. So he left her with them to take Gregory to Fazerblast once Chica brought the Party Pass. He hoped that by doing that, Vanessa would not notice. But she definitely seemed to be watching their moves, so…he did not know what tonight's action would result in.
