Two Days Later…
The last couple days pass by, and things haven't gotten better or worse. Darren did come back to continue the maintenance of the animatronics, which he has been doing for the last couple days. Saphira was happy, though she couldn't really tell or ask much knowing he is still likely being controlled by Springtrap. He has not yet asked about Gregory, but she and the animatronics have noticed that Darren is watching them closely with suspicion. It was clear he suspects something, especially since they no longer talk about Gregory around him. It has been pretty unsettling, and Saphira did not like it. But they still played along.
Gregory himself repeated his idea to Saphira again, and still thought it was a bad idea. She already has been down below the pizzaplex, and knew exactly what to expect. The boy did not. It was great that he was feeling a heap of confidence in the plan, but she just did not think that it was a great idea. She still did not tell Freddy the details of the plan, as he knew that Gregory had one. But she didn't tell him because she promised not to, and because she felt he did not need to know.
It is Monday now, and Saphira had only gotten out of bed ten minutes ago. She felt so heavy today, and she reluctantly made herself eat some toast for the night. It was thirty minutes past seven, and she had just finished making some grilled cheese sandwiches for Gregory as the boy had asked for them. Being that it would be a quiet night, Saphira was not expecting too much to happen. She knew that the room next to her apartment would be used as they had been using it over the last couple days.
Gregory looked at Saphira as he noticed she seemed to be rather quiet right now. It was unusual as she was normally talking to him, but she was not. He was a bit worried. "Are you feeling okay, Saphira? You seem a little bit out of it."
Saphira sighed as she heard the boy. She was just finishing up dishes and put a plate into the drainer stand. "Just…heavy…and tired." She rolled her shoulders to try and give herself some comfort. "We have quite a few hours to waste before the pizzaplex closes, so I guess we should do something…or you can."
Gregory was worried for Saphira. He knew that she had been tired the last couple days, but it seemed to be worse today. "I don't know if you hear, but Darren sent a message over the Fazwatch communication line to every guest in the building. Including my Fazwatch " Saphira turned and looked st him in surprise "He sent the message an hour ago or something. Apparently there was a major issue in the electricity tonight, and it was causing issues with the elevators. So he made the decision to close the pizzaplex at nine."
She frowned as she had not been aware of that. "I must have been really out and deep in sleep to miss that." She looked at her Fazwatch curiously a-and thought about speaking to Darren about it. But she missed it, so she would need to speak to him like it was a general conversation. "I have to say, I don't think this place has had electrical issues throughout the building like that before. But maybe there is something faulty, and we have to wait for electricians to come and fix the problem."
"I can confirm it. When I woke up, the power had gone out a few times, and the lights dimmed before you woke up." Gregory and Saphira look up as the lights dim suddenly. "Just like that." He points at the lights in the ceiling as Saphira stared at them. "I guess it's just one of those days for the pizzaplex."
"So it would seem." Saphira looked at her Fazwatch to go through the security cameras to check on the animatronics. But when she did that, she saw that every camera was covered in static. She could not see anything. "It must be affecting the cameras. I cannot see anyone or anything. This is very strange."
"I guess a lot of things are being affected by the strange outages. Hopefully the animatronics have been able to recharge despite all of these issues." Gregory took a bite out of his grilled cheese as he thought about it. "I guess it seems strange because it has not happened since you started working here. But I wouldn't think of this as suspicious, Saphira."
"I guess that's true." Saphira thought about reaching out to Freddy, but she did not know if he would be busy currently or not. "Well…if the pizzaplex closes early soon, I do need to speak with Darren. You finish your food, I'll go sit on the couch and talk to him." Saphira walked towards the couch to sit down on. "If you can stay quiet while I speak to him, I would appreciate it." Gregory nodded as he understood. Saphira opened the communication link to Darren and began to speak. "Evening, Darren. I just got up a little while ago and I noticed that the lights are playing up and I can't see anything through the cameras. What's going on?"
"Ah, Saphira!" Darren responded happily. "It is so nice to hear your voice. I hope you had a good sleep." Saphira frowned a little as she knew he was avoiding her question. "I had wondered when you would wake. There has been some strange issues happening for with the electricity in the building. The technicians checked the power box, but we think there is a wire somewhere messing with the building itself."
"And that must be causing a lot of problems. Not just lighting, but the kitchen and elevators too. Sounds bad." Saphira hummed softly as she thought about it. "I assume Chica Coaster and Monty Coaster has been closed today."
"Roxy Raceway and Hungry Mr Hippos are also closed. We can't have an accident because of power failure. It has also made it difficult for people to play Monty Golf and Fazerblast, so the place has been extra quiet because people aren't staying very long. I don't blame them." At least Darren had been sensible in keeping things closed when it was dangerous to use them. "The animatronics are fine as well. They have been able to interact with guests, but they haven't needed to do much since we have had to cancel birthday parties due to the failure."
"I guess they have had a bit of a boring day." Saphira wouldn't be surprised, though the animatronics may also enjoy a quiet day. She knew that Monty and Roxy would. "When do you think the problem can be fixed? If it is happening today, it'll happen tomorrow."
"I contacted an electrician company, but until we locate where the issue is, it could take a while. I had considered closing the pizzaplex until the problem is sorted." How convenient. "Because of this, the pizzaplex itself will close at nine tonight, instead of the usual time of midnight. The pizzaplex is already empty, though with the camera system all wonky, it will be hard to tell if there are any stragglers."
"It is going to make life harder for all of us security guards," Saphira responded in a sarcastic tone. "At least it will save me going to me office to sit and find nothing's working…I guess it will mean Parts and Service is out of order for now too." She did not like that part as that meant if the animatronics had an issue, they had to wait. "I suppose closing the pizzaplex until the problem is solved will be the best choice. We don't want the animatronics to hurt a guest due to no maintenance."
"I agree. Once the pizzaplex closes tonight, I will post that information out on social media and refund guests who have booked birthday parties with the animatronics for this week. Hopefully the issue will be fixed next week." She hoped for that too, if this issue was an actual issue. "That pretty much means we have the pizzaplex to ourselves. That's pretty exciting to me, honestly."
"It is exciting, but it is certainly not something I really care much about. I'll end up staying in my room I think, and spend time with Freddy." Saphira looked at Gregory as the boy stood up to take his plate to the sink. "There is not a great lot that I would do."
"That is totally fair. Maybe you can fit in time to finish up the nursery." She knew that would not happen, but she did not say anything. "Well, I had better go. There's a lot I need to do thanks to the electrical faults happening right now in the system. Paperwork, invoices and so on…so much work when shit like this happens." Darren let out a deep sigh. "Anyway, I have something very important to do soon, so I will let you relax."
Saphira heard him cut off the communication and she lowered her arm as she pondered over the information she had been given. At least Gregory was not lying to her about it, it would seem. But it definitely seemed odd to her. She guessed that she could easily be overthinking it, so it wasn't a bit deal. It also meant watching TV and using her laptop might be a problem. So she and Gregory would need to think of other things to do.
She stood up from the couch and walked away for a moment to head over to the small bookshelf in the living room. She grabbed out a board game and looked at it. She smiled as she pulled out a Checkers game. She looked at Gregory with a smile. "Since we might have issues with using the TV, we should waste time the old-fashioned way." She walked over to the table and set the game down. "Nothing like a game of Checkers. It has been a while since I have played, honestly."
Gregory smiled and sat back down happily. "Sounds good to me. There's nothing else to do but wait. I almost think you should check on the animatronics though. Not being able to see them through the cameras seems like it is a good time for something to happen to them."
"True…but I don't think so. Not while the pizzaplex is still open." Saphira opened the box and sat down with a sigh. She pulled the board out and unfolded it. "What color do you want to be? Red or black?"
"Uh…well…I guess I don't care, but I'll go with red," Gregory responded with a smile as he grabbed the red chips and began to place them on the board on the right squares. "Do you think that they would even do anything to the animatronics while the pizzaplex is open?"
"It is always a possibility. If the pizzaplex is as empty as Darren says, there is always a chance that they could do something to the animatronics." Saphira put her chips onto the board to get ready. "You can go first, Gregory." The boy nodded as he moved the first piece. "By the way, when you were brought here, did you get told anything about your school?"
Gregory shook his head. "Only that I was moving…but that clearly was a lie from Vanessa. Um, I wasn't doing that well anyway. I get A's in Maths…and that's about it." He watched Saphira move her piece and he moved his quickly afterwards. "I thought I would get to go, even though school is boring. But at least I could make friends. Before I had…kind of refused to make friends. Mostly because I learned that when I make friends, I get moved away from them."
"I see…" Saphira felt very sorry for the boy and smiled at him. "And it is kind of a strange time of year at the moment…but there's not much we can do, I suppose." She hoped that Gregory would be able to make friends in the future. "I do wonder that if you go back to school what the others will say when you tell them you live at the pizzaplex."
"They probably would laugh and think I am lying. Though…" Gregory pondered on that thought for a moment and chuckled softly. "It would be extremely funny if I happen to come here on a field trip or something, and they see how I interact with you and the animatronics. And then they learn you adopted me."
"I can see that happening. Lots of schools have field trips that come here, so that could definitely happen." Saphira moved her piece and continued to speak with him. "What did you struggle with in school, anyway?"
"Well…" The boy was not sure how he was going to answer Saphira's question regarding that, but he thought for a moment before responding. "I…I am okay in art, I hate sports, I am not so good with spelling and grammar, and unless the science is about physics, I am awful at biology. And then there is geometry and I was also forced to take Spanish as well." Gregory shook his head with a frown. "I am good at numbers and robotics, but I am not good with anything else."
"You're lucky that I love words," Saphira said with a smile, and Gregory looked at her in surprise. "I know that might be quite surprising, since I have a major in robotics, but words are something I love. I read a lot of books when I was younger, when I wasn't being beaten. It was a way for me to escape, and I was always good at spelling in school. I can help you, Gregory."
The boy was happy to hear that as he moved another piece. "That sounds like a great idea. Though it doesn't help me with the other subjects."
Saphira chuckled softly. "No, it does not. But it will help you to understand things easier. Especially as school does get harder the older you get. As for Spanish, I am afraid I only know a single language." She hummed for a moment and smiled. "But the animatronics are automated to understand and speak other languages…you never know…Freddy might be able to help you with that."
"I never even thought of that!" Gregory was thrilled at the idea of the animatronics helping her with her homework. "And Mr Hippo is very smart too…yes! I loved that idea, Saphira!" The two of them laugh as they knew it would be a lot of fun. "I bet they will be very happy to hear it too!"
Saphira nodded and the two of them continue to play Checkers and just talk about general things for the next half hour. It was a lot of fun just talking and playing casually. Saphira learned that Gregory kept a diary of his times in foster care and in the orphanage. He still had that journal, but it was in the room that Vanessa had locked him in, so he couldn't exactly get it to show her. But Saphira hoped to find the room so he could get his things from there.
They eventually stopped playing Checkers because Gregory wanted to show Saphira some drawings he had made. And they made Saphira feel happy. Gregory had made a drawing of himself with Saphira and all the animatronics smiling together like a big family. It was really sweet, and Saphira wanted to put it on the fridge. Though she knew that it was risky in case Darren happened to stop by and see the drawing. It wouldn't make sense for her to draw it.
"I see that we mean a lot to you already, Gregory," Saphira said as she looked at the picture with a smile. He nodded and chuckled as he looked away shyly. "I am happy that we fill in the void for you. It is probably still weird, but you will be fine." She checked the time and her smile widened. "Speaking of…we have about ten minutes before the pizzaplex closes. It is so weird to say that since it is almost nine."
"I bet it does feel weird," Gregory said with a smile. He turned and ran out of the room. "I'll be back in a moment. Need to use the toilet."
Saphira chuckled and she put the Checkers back into the box. She stood up to put the box away and she was feeling pretty happy. She rubbed her stomach as she pondered on what the rest of the night would be like. She considered taking Gregory next door to set up something that they could do with the animatronics, though it will be hard with the electrical fluctuation in the pizzaplex. Board games could be the only thing they can do, but Saphira hoped it would not be the case.
She too felt the need to use the bathroom, so she made her way to her room to go to the ensuite bathroom. She sat on the toilet and rubbed her forehead, still feeling very tired and heavy at the moment. She was thinking about how the animatronics were currently. She was sure that the dimming of lights and things not working was frustrating to them as it would be to anyone else. She would not blame them. She did wonder if their own doors would be working properly as well. That would make Monty mad. She chuckled to herself as she could easily see it.
When she walked out of her room though, she suddenly had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had no idea why, but it made her pause for a moment before she simply proceeded down the hallway. It wasn't until she heard the sound of Gregory whimpering fearfully down the hallway and the sound of someone laughing coldly. But Saphira recognized that laugh. It was Darren! She was confused as she walked faster to the living room, and gasped as she saw Darren standing by the front door, holding a large knife in his hand. Gregory was hiding by the hallway corner, staring fearfully and she knew that their cover had now been blown.
"What…what the hell are you doing here?!" Saphira asked as she walked closer to him. His eyes lock onto hers, and she gasped. "Wait…your eyes…" She saw that they were glowing a dull purple, something she's never seen him do. "Don't tell me Springtrap changed your eyes?" She shuddered at the very thought. "That's awfully disturbing…"
"You are correct about me changing his eyes, Saphira." Wait, what? Saphira looked at him in confusion as Darren spoke about himself as if he was talking in third person. "I did it a long time ago, and you and Darren never even knew. Only because I never told him that I was seeing and hearing everything that he did."
Saphira stared at him in horror as she realized. "S-S-Springtrap…" She swallowed nervously as she now knew that Springtrap was aware of what she said and done. "Wait…y-y-you knew…I-I w-w-was…"
"Yes, I know everything. Destroying Glitchtrap, upgrading the eyes and claws, and I also know all about your birth plans and how you were going to try and help Gregory. I know everything." He chuckled softly as he twirled the knife around playfully. "But you never told him that you found Gregory. But I guess it was given away. I did not have full control of this puppet until now anyay. You were very smart about it. Letting Gregory get carried within the stomach hatches of the animatronics is something I did not see coming."
Saphira was very nervous as that meant Vanessa would know. "Uh…well…you know now…" She forced herself to laugh nervously. "Um…but…w-w-what do you plan to…"
Darren stepped closer to her as his eyes narrowed. "I bet you already know. Gregory would have it all there in his mind. Unless his mind has closed off those memories." He looked at the boy as Gregory just frowned at him. "Am I right, Gregory?" He chuckled coldly before glancing at Saphira as she moved towards him. "And it seems that you have done a wonderful job carrying the twins so far…" He lunged suddenly, and Saphria yelped as he grabbed her and pushed her into the wall harshly. "But…" He lifts the knife up and rubbed the blade against her cheek, making her grimace fearfully. "I am afraid I am going to recommend an emergency c-section for you. And there is nothing to give you comfort from the pain as you bleed out where you lay. And I will feast upon your body."
Saphira felt tears in her eyes. "B-But I am s-s-so close! I c-c-could give birth any day! I d-d-don't need to be cut open…"
He stabbed the wall right beside her right ear, making her flinch and yelp fearfully. "That is not for you to decide, Saphira Dawn!" He moved his right hand to her stomach and pressed firmly on it, making her groan as the pressure was hurting. "In fact, that is precisely what you deserve. You might have thought you have won by destroying Glitchtrap, but you only beat a virus." He grabbed her cheeks roughly suddenly and made her look at him. She stared back at him with terrified eyes. "But you have not beaten me yet."
"Leave her alone!" Gregory shouts suddenly and Darren yelped as the boy managed to through a glass at the man, shattering it against his back. Darren lets Saphira girl and turned slowly, glaring at Saphira. "Come and get me! You want me, not her!"
"Oh, I definitely want you, you little brat!" Darren shouts angrily. At this point, his voice sounded mingled. His voice was a mix of Springtrap with Darren, and it was disturbing. The man ran at the boy, ignoring the glass on the ground. Gregory ran around the couch and the man rolled his eyes. "Don't think that trick will work on me!" He jumped over the couch, making Gregory yelp in surprise and jump away from Darren. "Before I was trapped in that suit, killing you kids became my perfect artform!"
Gregory stared at Darren as he rotated the knife to hold it in preparation to stab the boy. He backed away and when the man ran at him, the boy managed to run around him and try to run to him room, but Darren was faster. He grabbed the boy's arm and pulled him, throwing him onto the floor and the boy hit his head, making Gregory grimace and look up as Darren raised the knife and he saw the glowing, purple eyes.
"SAPHIRA!" Gregory screamed, covering his face with his arms.
CLANG!
The boy jumped and moved his arms away, gasping as he saw Darren fall the ground as he had been knocked out. He scurried away and stood up, looking at Saphira to see she was holding a pan. She had hit Darren in the side of the head, and successfully knocked him out. She was taking deep breaths as she was feeling very nervous about all this as well. And she had to act fast to knock the man out to prevent him from hurting Gregory. At least she knew it wasn't Darren's fault. Springtrap was in full control of him, and this was the only way.
"Sorry, Darren." She looked at Gregory and took his hand. "We need to get out of here." She placed the pan down and walked to the door quickly. "Springtrap now knows, and we need to let the animatronics know." She lifts her arm to open a communication link to Freddy. "Freddy, we have a…AAAHHH!" Saphira lets go of Gregory's hand as they both cover their ears as a high-pitched sound came through. She quickly shut it off, rubbing her ears with a frown. "Oh no…" She grabbed his hand and walked out of the apartment quickly. "We need to get to Freddy, and fast!"
Gregory did not question Saphira as they make their way towards the elevator. Though when they reach it, Saphira hesitated as she worried about the power. But they had no other way to get to Rockstar Row, so they step inside, and she pressed the button to head down to Rockstar Row. And thankfully, the elevator seemed to move just fine. But she noticed the music was glitching a lot, and she didn't like the sound of that right now.
Gregory was trembling as he stared at the elevator doors and looked up at Saphira. "Um…m-maybe…w-w-we will end up below the pizzaplex…k-kind of…h-how I wanted to happen w-w-with my plan…but…y-y-you were right it would be bad…"
Saphira forced a smile and looked at him kindly. "I hope not. That's the very last place that I want to be right now." She looked back at the doors before flinching as she felt a dull ache within her stomach for a moment before it faded. She shrugged, thinking it was nothing and when the doors open, she and Gregory walk out and they head down the stairs. "Once we get to Freddy's room, you get into his stomach hatch and stay there. You will be safer there."
"What about you?" Gregory asked as he looked at her worryingly.
"I can't really hide, Gregory. But you can." Saphira squeezed his hand gently to give him some comfort. "Don't worry about me. You need to be safe." He nodded as he understood, though she could see he was reluctant as well. He wanted to stay with Saphira so he knew she was safe, even though he was scared himself. When they reached the door, Saphira opened it and peered outside. "It's clear, come."
Gregory looked around as they walk into Rockstar Row and they jump as the lights dim and made it harder for them to see. Gregory grabbed out a flashlight that he had and turned it on. Saphira was relieved as it made things easier as they approach Freddy's door. When they reach it, the door does not open. She gasped before stepping back and then stepped forward to try and make the door open automatically. She grabbed the door flap and pulled it to try and open, but it would not budge. The door was locked.
"Freddy!" Saphira shouts, banging on the door as hard as she could. "Can you hear me?!"
She heard footsteps approaching the door from the other side and smiled a little. "Saphira?! The door is locked. The lights and everything have been playing up all day…wait, what is going on?"
Saphira glanced around nervously and moved closer to the gap of the door to speak. "Um…Darren came to the apartment…but he was being controlled by Springtrap…he knows. He…he…he tried to kill Gregory!"
"Oh no…" She and Gregory step back when they heard Freddy tried to open the door and jump when he punched it. "And I cannot get out." He paused for a second before Saphira and Gregory hear the same high-pitched sound coming from him, making the bot fall to his knees in pain. "AH!" His screech of pain sounded horrible, and it soon stopped. "And the communication line is tampered with!" The lights dim again and Saphira glanced around fearfully. "This is not a coincidence…"
"Saphira!" Gregory suddenly jumped to the side, and Saphira turned to see why he shouted at her. "We…we have a lot of company…"
Saphira stared fearfully as there was a few dozen staff bots with red eyes staring at them. She did not even see or hear them, but she was very distracted with trying to speak to Freddy. She trembled as she did not know what they were going to do. She almost did not want to move either. She wanted to say something too, but nothing seemed to come out of her mouth. She was too terrified to say anything. She did not see Vanessa among the bots either, but she knew that the woman was controlling them.
Just as the two stare at the bots, the staff bots suddenly roll towards them. Saphira screamed as she and Gregory attempt to avoid them. Even though Gregory moved faster than Saphira, two staff bots grab his arms and hold him down, making him cry out in pain. Saphira tried to get to him, but two other staff bots grab her arms and pulled her away. She felt tears rolling down her cheeks as she was forced to walk away from Freddy's door. Gregory was lifted from the ground, and he tried to kick and wiggle out of the grasp of the bots, but they held his arms tightly.
Saphira was forced to walk around the front of Freddy's room. He was staring in shock as he stared at what was happening to Saphira. She saw his mouth moving, and she could tell he was trying to say something. She swallowed before she yanked her arms out of the grasp of the bots holding her. She heard them fall forward from the yank, but she ignored them. She ran up to the glass, placing her hands on it as she stared at Freddy. He was looking at her as he was helpless to help her.
"Help me!" Saphira managed to mouth to Freddy before she grimaced and shrieked as her hair was pulled. "OW!" She jumped as she heard Freddy punch the glass window in frustration. She looked at him and mouthed to him again. "I love you."
The animatronic looked towards Gregory as the boy was carried by the staff bots. Freddy frowned, and he turned his head just as he saw the staff bots throw Saphira to the ground on her side. She grunts and grimaced in pain as she landed on her arm. She was glad she did not land on her stomach. Though they pulled her back to her feet by her hair and forced her to walk. Freddy punched at the glass again, though there was no crack and he looked around to try and find something to use to break the glass.
As Gregory and Saphira was forced to walk by the other rooms, the other animatronics were immediately aware of what was happening. They tried their doors, but they all were locked in their rooms. Monty banged on the window angrily and grabbed his couch to hit it against the window, attempting to smash the glass. But the glass windows were all reinforced, and it was going to take a long time for them to break it. But Saphira hoped that they would soon. She did not like this at all. This was clearly what Darren had meant when he told her he had something very important to do…which was Springtrap talking, not him.
They were brought to the atrium where there were more staff bots waiting. Saphira shivered nervously as she looked around. She still did not see Vanessa, and she had no idea where the bots were taking her and Gregory to. She expected to be taken to the stage, but they were not. Instead, she soon realized they were being brought to the main kitchen. Saphira gasped and guessed that Vanessa had some other plan for her and Gregory. Or maybe just Gregory. Saphira wanted to struggle, but she also could not.
As she walked into the kitchen, Vanessa was waiting wearing that white, rabbit suit. She was caressing a knife as she leaned against a counter near a garbage chute. Saphira glanced towards the large freezer, shivering at the memory of being shoved in there and almost freezing to death. She looked back at Vanessa as she began to dance towards them. Saphira did not know what Vanessa was going to do, but she had no doubt that none of it was good.
"Saphira, Saphira, Saphira…" Vanessa shook her head as she stopped beside Saphira, wrapping her arm around her shoulders with a sigh. "You lied. You told me you had not idea where that kid was. And he was right under your nose." She moved the blade so Saphira could see it. "But I am impressed. You are pretty good at lying. I guess it runs in your family."
Saphira grimaced and shook her head. "I am nothing like them!"
"Oh, really?" Vanessa chuckled in amusement at Saphira's response. "You being able to lie so well must have been something your daddy taught you." Saphira shook her head again and Vanessa yanked at her hair, making her yelp in pain. "No matter, you are a very bad, girl. It is time for you to head downstairs and give up the offspring in your womb. They don't belong to you. They never have. You were just an incubator!"
Vanessa shoved her forward, and Saphira stumbled, catching herself on a nearby table. She was free from the staff bots, but she looked at Vanessa as the woman skipped as she paced in front of her. Saphira glared at her and clenched her fists. "I will not give them to you."
"Protective. That's admirable." Vanessa just chuckled before she turned and skipped towards Gregory, making Saphira gasp in shock. "As for you, you little brat!" She grabbed him by the hair and yanked him hard from the bots. Gregory shouts in pain and punched at her hand to try and stop her. "You have caused so much trouble! And I thought I picked the right one…do you know what Springtrap did to me when you broke free?!" Gregory did not answer as he kept fighting, though Vanessa pulled him to his feet and pressed him against a table as she held the knife up. "He tore my back. He tore it! All because you couldn't listen and remain under his spell…"
"Let him go!" Saphira shouts, attempting to grab Vanessa to pull her away. "AAHHH!" Saphira screamed, stumbling back as she held her forehead. Vanessa swiped her knife around and slashed her face. Saphira glared at Vanessa as the woman just tilts her head and chuckled. "All part of the game, huh?"
She just chuckled deviously. "Oh, indeed it is…" She turned her head to look back at the kid. "But you are nothing but trash!" She grabbed his hair again and began to drag him over to the garbage chute. The boy punched and kicked wildly as he tried to stop her. "You have been good for nothing, Gregory!" Her mocking voice irritated Saphira and the girl stepped towards her, only for Vanessa to slash Gregory's right shoulder. "Keep getting closer, and he'll get a good stabbing! Though Springtrap wants to do it."
Saphira froze a little as she was shocked Vanessa attacked the boy. He held his shoulder as blood poured out of the wound. But he kept fighting as the woman got closer. Saphira grabbed a ladel from above and attempted to run at Vanessa. "NO!" She swung the utensil and hit the knife out of Vanessa's hand. The woman was shocked and her rabbit eyes glowed red. "Let him…" The staff bots cut her off as they push her towards the chute, making her stumble.
Saphira caught herself on the counter, but her hands hit very hard on the edges that it hurt, and caused near immediate bruising. As she tried to steady herself, while wiping blood from her eye, she turned and saw Vanessa slam the chute door open. It was actually a very large opening, and it was easy for someone to fit in there. Saphira gasped as Vanessa lifts the boy like a bag by the hair and pulled him into the chute.
"Stop! Please!" Gregory begged, grabbing at the side of the chute to keep him from falling. "Don't hurt me…let me go!"
"Alright, since you said please." The boy almost believed Vanessa, only for her to let go his hair and slapped his hands, causing him to let go and fall down the chute slide. He screamed as he fell while Vanessa looked down, laughing. "I hope you have fun with Springtrap." Saphira was horrified and Vanessa turned to her. "Your turn."
Saphira was about to protest as the two staff bots grab her by the arm pits and lift her towards the chute. She struggled as best as she could against the bots. She yanked and pulled with the strength she had, but Vanessa grabbed her legs and Saphira was helpless. She glanced around in the hopes of one of the animatronics would find her, but it would be too late. Positioning her on her back, Saphira was forced into the chute headfirst. She tried grabbing at the sides, but she knew the weight of her stomach would stop her from saving herself.
"I would say it has been fun, Saphira…but I would be lying," Vanessa mocked, waving at Saphira playfully and glanced at the staff bots. "Let her go to her fate! She is trash, just like Gregory."
"No, please…" Saphira gasped as the bots push her and Saphira let out a scream as her back slid down the cold, smelly, metal chute. "FREDDY!"
Vanessa giggled and twirled around victoriously. She had done what Springtrap had wanted. She knew that she would now get to sit by his side once the twins have fully grown, and they would be in charge of the pizzaplex. No one would be safe from them, and Vanessa felt as though she was invincible. She was so happy she found Springtrap, and they worked together to build this place. It was definitely a dream coming true for her.
Her victorious dance was cut short though. She heard the sound of bots being smashed and she skipped out of the kitchen with the staff bots and leaned down, gasping as she saw all the Rockstar Row animatronics smashing the staff bots. She didn't know when they got out, but the cracks on their fists and arms suggested they used a lot of force to break the windows of their rooms. Vanessa was afraid now, because they all could see her.
Vanessa turned and began to run. "VANESSA!" She jumped as she heard Monty roaring at her. She ran towards the stairs in an attempt to leave the atrium. "What did you do to them?!" She did not respond, only pressing a button to order the staff bots to attack the animatronics. "GRRRAAA!"
At this point, the door to Glam Corner opened, and Mr Hippo, Pigpatch, Happy Frog, Orville and Foxette run out, with similar cracks in their hands and arms. It seemed the communication link was working for them, and they all got out. Vanessa was shocked and she ran up the stairs as the staff bots and animatronics fight. However, she heard Monty growling and roaring, smashing through the staff bots and ripping them apart. She looked down the stairs and gasped as she saw Monty running up the stairs. His glasses were gone, and he was angry.
"Get back here, worm!" Monty barked as Vanessa ran up the stairs, and as she reached the second floor, she went up the next flight of stairs to the third. "Run, run, RUN!" He punched two staff bots zooming towards him on the second floor and began to climb the next flight.
Vanessa than noticed Freddy climbing the stairs on the opposite side. She was alarmed as she couldn't outrun them. Especially with how angry they were. She could count that Freddy may not hurt her, but Monty was a different story. When she reached the top, Vanessa had to made a quick choice on where to go. But she didn't get much time as Monty was almost right behind her as she made a run to Bonnie Bowling.
"No, you don't!" Monty grabbed the back of the suit and pulled her, throwing her against the railing and glared at her. "What have you done to them, Vanessa?!" Vanessa trembled as she braced herself against the railing, glancing at Freddy as the animatronic ran up behind Monty, glaring at the woman. "ANSWER ME!"
Vanessa jumped at the anger in his voice before she just chuckled softly, making Monty step closer to her. "They are nothing but trash now. I simply sent them down where they belong." Freddy widened his eyes and glanced at the stage. "You already know where she is. She and Gregory belong to…"
"SHUT UP!" Monty roared at the woman, irritated by her mockery, and shoved her suddenly.
Freddy was shocked as he watched Vanessa's body fall backwards over the railing. She screamed as she fell to the bottom floor and there was a loud thump when she landed. Freddy stared at the woman and looked at Monty. "You did not have to do that."
"Don't care!" Monty bit back. "That woman was happily helping the master. She's nothing but a monster like him!"
With Vanessa down, the staff bots stop their assault and the animatronics pushed them away as their normal system kicks in to return to work. Mr Hippo checked Vanessa and found her heart stopped. He was disappointed Monty had reacted that way, but this woman was dangerous. And she was gladly helping Springtrap. But now they had to get below the pizzaplex. They all ran to the stage to head down to Parts and Service. They needed to recharge quickly before entering the Endo Factory, and the trash dump that was underneath. They all knew they had to act fast. Saphira and Gregory's life depended on it.
Quick note: I don't really care much for Vanessa's character. If anyone was hoping she would get a redemption, I decided not to do that with her. Plus, just didn't really fit with my story.
