Later that evening, as they returned to the village, Hiccup and Elsa headed to the great hall as the rain poured. As they entered, Gobber was talking to the group of teens as they had put their food together.

"Alright. Where did Astrid go wrong in the ring today?" Gobber asked the group.

"I mistimed my summersault dive. It was sloppy. It threw off my reverse tumble." Astrid replied.

"Yeah, we noticed," Ruffnut said sarcastically.

Snotlout then quickly. "No, no, you were great. That was so 'Astrid'."

"She's right, you have to be tough on yourselves," Gobber said as Hiccup and Elsa walked towards them.

Hiccup grabbed a plate of food and a cup and headed to a place to sit with the others when Snotlout blocked a seat for the two by moving over. Just another reminder from their cousin how they're not one of them.

The two made their way towards another table with Elsa while she quickly froze the floor underneath Snotlout as a little silent revenge.

"Where did Hiccup go wrong?" Gobber asked the group.

"Uh, he showed up?" Ruffnut said.

"He didn't get eaten," Tuffnut replied.

"He's never where he should be," Astrid said, sounding annoyed.

"Thank you, Astrid. You need to live and breathe this stuff." Gobber said as he held up a book for them all to see. "The Dragon Manual. Everything we know about every dragon we know of." He said as he set the book on the table, he was then interrupted by the sound of thunder. Realizing that it was still raining. "No attacks tonight. Study up." This surprised and disappointed the twins and Snotlout.

"Wait, you mean, read?" Tuffnut asked in disbelief.

"While we're still alive?" Ruffnut asked in equal disbelief.

"Why read words when you can just kill the stuff the words tell you stuff about?" Snotlout asked, not happy about the idea of studying.

"Oh! I've read it like, seven times. There's this water dragon that sprays boiling water at your face. And-And there's this other one that buries itself for like a week-" Fishlegs started to explain as he got more, and more excited but was soon cut off by Tuffnut.

"Yeah, that sounds great," Tuffnut commented. "There was a chance I was going to read that..."

"...But now..." Ruffnut added, bored by the facts.

"You guys read, I'll go kill stuff." Snotlout boasted before he got up, immediately slipping on the ice. He squealed as he slipped and fell on his back before getting up and walking it off. That's when he was followed by Ruffnut, Tuffnut laughing as they left, and Fishlegs in tow, still spewing facts, leaving Astrid, Hiccup, and Elsa.

"So, I guess we'll share?" Hiccup started to offer before Astrid cut him off.

"Read it," Astrid said as she pushed the book to the two Haddock kids.

"All ours. Wow, okay. So, I'll see you, uh..." Hiccup said when the door slammed shut "...tomorrow."

Elsa sighed and tapped her brother on the shoulder. They then heard snoring and saw there was one of the few people that stayed behind sleeping on the table. The others that were inside just kept staring at the two, mostly Elsa.

Yeah, a lot of people weren't okay with Elsa's...being. They didn't like the idea of someone as powerful as her living among them, but they can't exactly do much when their Chief told them there's nothing they can say or do to change his mind. Elsa stays among them as long as he is Chief.

After everyone else left, Hiccup and Elsa brought light candles to the table and opened the Book of Dragons. They decided to take turns reading each chapter as Hiccup started reading.

"Dragon classifications. Strike Class, Fear Class, Mystery Class." Hiccup red before he turned to the best page and came across the first: This reclusive dragon inhabits sea caves and dark tide pools. When startled, the Thunderdrum produces a concussive sound that can kill a man at close range. Extremely dangerous, kill on sight."

"Timberjack: This gigantic creature has razor-sharp wings that can slice through full-grown trees." Elsa else the page with the dragon drawn on. "Extremely dangerous, kill on sight."

"Scauldron: Sprays scalding water at its victim. Extremely dangerous." Hiccup read when lightning and thunder suddenly crashed in the sky, scaring Hiccup and Elsa.

They took and deep breath in and turned back to the book before continuing reading.

"Changewing: Even newly hatched dragons can spray acid. Kill on sight." Elsa said, sighing to the words 'kill on sight.'

'Gronckle, Zippleback. The Skrill. Boneknapper, Whispering Death. Burns its victims, buries its victims, chokes its victims turns its victims inside-out.'

'Extremely dangerous, extremely dangerous, kill on sight, kill on sight, kill on sight.'

Then an almost blank chapter made Elsa stop and stare along with her brother. "Night Fury: Speed, unknown. Size, unknown." Elsa said as she looked over to Hiccup.

Hiccup then took over reading the last piece. "The unholy offspring of lightning and death itself. Never engage this dragon. Your only chance, hide and pray it does not find you."

This made the two look at each other in shock before Hiccup pulled out his journal, turned to the page which had the drawing of the Night Fury. He then set the drawing on top of the Night Fury chapter, which had no drawings of its own.

"What about the Light Fury?" Elsa wondered, thinking someone might've come across it.

"Nothing else." Hiccup said as he turned the page to reveal the rest of the pages are blank.

"We are the first to come across this dragon?" Elsa asked in surprise.

"Ever recorded and live to tell, I guess." Hiccup supposed.

"We haven't seen the last of those Furies, aren't we?" Elsa asked, knowing the answer.

Hiccup nodded in reply. "Yeah, I have a feeling we are. I mean, we know where to find them. Imagine what we can learn from them."

"And how fast we can be killed by them," Elsa replied.

"Said the girl who can freeze people solid." Hiccup replied and decided to see how far she was willing to go. "Tell me you're not the least bit interested."

Elsa thought of it and knew she was intrigued by the idea of learning more. "Oh, Thor. I hate you."
