Later on, the two of them went back to Berk and joined Gobber and the other teens for dinner at the watchtower as Gobber shared the tales of how he lost his limbs.

"And with one twist, he took my hand and swallowed it whole. And I saw the look on his face. I was delicious. He must have passed the word because it wasn't a month before another one of them took my leg." Gobber said, showing off his wooden leg.

"Isn't it weird to think that your hand was inside a dragon?" Fishlegs suddenly asked, earning weird looks from the others. All apart from Snotlout, who seemed angry for some reason. "Like if your mind was still in control of it, you could have killed the dragon from the inside. By crushing his heart, or something."

"I swear, I'm so angry right now! I'll avenge your beautiful hand and your beautiful foot. I'll chop off the legs of every dragon I fight. With my face!" Snotlout almost yelled.

"Un-unh. It's the wings and the tails you really want." Gobber informed them as he took off a piece of his food. "If it can't fly, it can't get away. A downed dragon is a dead dragon."

This made Hiccup come up with an idea, and Elsa immediately recognizes the look on his mind. He was thinking of something, almost to the point she could see the bears turning.

Gobber then got up and stretched his limbs to the point they heard a crack. "Alright. I'm off to bed. You should be, too. Tomorrow, we get to the big boys. Slowly but surely making our way up to the Monstrous Nightmare. But who'll win the honor of killing it?"

"It's gonna be me. It's my destiny. See?" Tuffnut bragged, showing everyone his mark as he lifted his shirt.

Fishlegs gasped at the sight. "Your mom let you get a tattoo?"

"It's not a tattoo," Tuffnut informed him. "It's a birthmark."

Astrid then turned and noticed that Hiccup and Elsa were missing, their food left where they previously were. Walking towards the spiral stairs, she saw the two of them leaving in a hurry. She continued to look down the stair, confused but let it go and went back to where the others were.

"Okay, I've been stuck with you since birth, and that was never there before," Ruffnut stated, never before seeing that on her brother.

"Yes, it was. You've just never seen me from the left side until now." Tuffnut replied.

Hiccup made his way to the forge, with a clear goal clear in his mind. He entered the forge and saw his sister following him close behind.

"A downed dragon is a dead dragon." Hiccup whispered to himself. "Toothless can't fly because one of his tail fins is missing."

"Toothless?" Elsa asked her brother, giving him a confused look.

"What? We might as well give them names if we're going to be seeing them more often." Hiccup explained to her.

"Good point." Elsa agreed that was fair. "So do you have some sort of idea to help...Toothless?"

"Yes, I do," Hiccup said, smiling at his sister, "Now this is what we need to do..."

The two then worked through the night, finding every scrap of metal and leather they could find and use for a prosthetic tail fin. Elsa helping by cooling down the metal when he needed her to. After hours of work they were done, and Hiccup held up the finished product, and the two of them were proud of what they accomplished.

"You think this will work?" Hiccup asked his sister.

"Only one way to find out," Elsa replied, confident in her brother's handiwork.

The next day, the two of them arrived at the Cove early morning before dragon training, each carrying a heavy basket.

"Hey, Toothless..." Hiccup called out in a little singing voice, "We brought breakfast, I hope you both are hungry."

"Come on, Luna, you too," Elsa called out to the Light Fury.

"Luna?" Hiccup asked his sister in a questioning voice.

"Yeah, because she glows like the light of the moon," Elsa explained her naming choice. "So, Luna."

"Oh, nice." Hiccup replied, liking the name and the explanation.

The Furies then came up to them, seeming to like their new names. Elsa and Hiccup then opened their baskets, revealing fishes to the two dragons.

"Uh... we've got some salmon, some nice Icelandic cod, and a whole smoked eel," Elsa said as they had no idea what the dragons liked more or less so they brought a few of everything.

Just then Toothless and Luna both backed away from the piles with an angry look at the eel. Hiccup then went to pick up the eel from Toothless' pile, causing both dragons to back away further with a screeching sound like they were scared.

"No, no, no, no! It's okay. Yeah, Elsa and I don't really like eel much either." Hiccup said as he threw the eel away.

"Let me just get that," Elsa said as she picked up the eel from Luna's pile and quickly threw it away.

Toothless and Luna then went to eat the fish. While they were doing that, Hiccup quietly took the tail fin he brought with him and moved behind Toothless, while his sister kept an eye on the Light Fury, or just Luna now.

After a bit of struggle in trying to keep Toothless' tail still, Hiccup got on top of the tail and managed to strap the tail fin on. Toothless, who finished his fish started noticing a sudden weight on his tail and was shocked. He thought he could trust this human, now he was doing something to him. As Hiccup was working on finishing the tail fin, Toothless then spread his wings and was getting ready to take off.

Elsa then saw Toothless' reaction, "Uh, Hiccup?" she said, trying to warn her brother but he wasn't paying attention.

"It's okay. Okay...There. That's not too bad. It works." Hiccup muttered, assessing the new tail fin.

"Uh, Hiccup?! Get-" Elsa tried to warn him.

However, she didn't get to finish her sentence as Toothless suddenly shot in the air with Hiccup in tow still on his tail fin.

"Whoa! No! No! No!" Hiccup cried as he held onto the tail.

"HICCUP!" Elsa cried.

Just like before, Toothless started falling to the ground as the prosthetic tail fin could not open by itself. Elsa and Luna looked away, shielding their eyes to not watch the two of them slam. But before they could hit the ground, Hiccup managed to open the tail fin causing Toothless to take a sharp turn away from the ground.

Elsa sighed in relief, happy to see that Hiccup's invention was working. "Well, at least your mate's okay."

Toothless and Hiccup then flew over the pond, "Yes! Yes, we did it!"

This caused Toothless to realize that Hiccup was on his tail. Toothless then used his tail to throw Hiccup into the pond. Unfortunately, this caused the tail fin to close up and as a result, Toothless plummeted into the pond. This did not stop Hiccup to celebrate his victory.

"Hiccup, are you okay?!" Elsa said as she ran over to her brother, but forgetting he was in a pond, she too fell in.

"Oh, never better, Elsa, never better." Hiccup groaned as he got back up.

They then looked up and noticed that dragon training was going to start soon, and they needed to get back before that happened.

"Come on, we'll have to continue this later," Elsa said as she got Hiccup up and quickly ran out to make it back to Berk.

"Today is about teamwork," Gobber said to the teens.

Everyone was put in three groups of two: Snotlout and Tuffnut, Astrid and Ruffnut, Hiccup and Fishlegs. Each teen held onto a bucket of water for their lives as the Arena was suddenly filled with smoke while the doors of the next dragon opened.

"Now, a wet dragon head can't light its fire. The Hideous Zippleback is extra tricky. One head breathes gas, the other head lights it. Your job is to know which is which." Gobber said as he watched the kids from a safe distance near the entrance of the arena.

The teams of two had their backs facing each other as the smoke separated them from the other teams, making them unable to see anything.

"Razor-sharp, serrated teeth that inject venom for pre-digestion." Fishlegs started nervously stating facts about the Zippleback. "Prefers ambush attack, by crushing its victims-"

"Will you please stop that?!" Hiccup whispered, cutting Fishlegs off from continuing his facts.

Astrid and Ruffnut were quiet as they kept an eye out for the dragon, hearing the snarl and chittering of the dragon all around them. Snotlout and Tuffnut however did not have the same idea of being silent and patient as they kept walking around one another.

"If that dragon shows either of its faces, I'm gonna-" Snotlout started to say before noticing a shadow, "There!" He and Tuffnut then threw their water at what they thought was the dragon only to hear screams as the smoke cleared revealing only to be Astrid and Ruffnut.

"Hey! It's us, idiots!" Ruffnut said, sounding annoyed.

"Your butts are getting bigger. We thought you were a Dragon." Tuffnut said to the girls.

"Not that there's anything wrong with a dragon-esque figure." Snotlout said before getting punched in the face by Astrid.

Ruffnut threw her bucket at Tuffnut, causing him to fall. Suddenly, Tuffnut got pulled into the smoke as Astrid put an arm in front of Ruffnut, preventing her from going after her brother.

"Wait," Astrid whispered.

After a moment of nothing but Tuffnut's cries, a tail swooped in from behind knocking both girls off their feet and Astrid to lose her bucket of water.

"OH, I'M HURT! I AM VERY MUCH HURT!" Tuffnut cried as he came out from the smoke running away from them all.

"Chances of survival are dwindling into single-digits now," Fishlegs said nervously.

Then one of the heads of the Zippleback emerged from the smoke and zeroed in on Fishlegs. Panicking, Fishlegs threw the water at the head, just as the Zippleback head began to bring out green gas.

"Oh. Wrong head." Fishlegs said, now scared for his life.

The Zippleback then blasted the green gas at Fishlegs.

"Fishlegs!" Gobber yelled in concern.

Thankfully, Fishlegs managed to get out of there before the Zippleback head could ignite the gas. But that's when the other head revealed itself, starting to spark and snarl at Hiccup.

"Now, Hiccup!" Gobber yelled to the boy.

As the Zippleback raised both its' heads higher, Hiccup threw the bucket with all the strength he had. Unfortunately, he had no strength as it didn't reach the dragon and he ended up getting himself wet.

"Oh, come on!" Hiccup muttered as he held his bucket up and the Zippleback got him pinned, ready to fire at him.

"Hiccup!" Gobber yelled in fear.

Gobber was about to go in and help him, but then stopped at what he was witnessing. Suddenly the Zippleback started moving away from him while Gobber and the teens watched the action in awe.

"BACK! BACK! BACK! Now, don't you make me tell you again! Yes, that's right." Hiccup demanded the Zippleback, realizing they must be afraid of the eel that was in his shirt like Toothless and Luna were. "Back into your cage. Now, think about what you've done."

As Hiccup got the dragon back into its cage, he took out the eel he had left in his vest and threw it into the cage, making the Zippleback back into a corner in fear.

Once he closed the cage, he turned back to see everyone looking back at him in complete shock. Even to the point that Fishlegs dropped the bucket that he was holding.

"Okay! So, are we done?" Hiccup asked, not used to shocking everyone, including his mentor. "Because I've got some things I need to, uh...Yep. I'll see you tomorrow."

Hiccup ran out of the arena to find his sister waiting for him at the entrance with a coy smile. They started to walk away from the arena, Mildew, and Gothi watching them.

"I saw what you did there," Elsa informed him, knowing how he did it. "You used the eel, didn't you?"

Hiccup nodded in confirmation. "How else? If I didn't, I'd be dragon food right now."

"Well played." Elsa complimented. "Was afraid I would have to get involved."

"Did you see the looks on the other's face?" Hiccup asked with a laugh.

"I wish I did, except they had their backs to me." Elsa was sorry to say. "But when Fishlegs dropped his bucket, I can only imagine what it would have been like."

"Come on, let's go to the Cove." Hiccup said as they broke into a run towards the forest.

"You know, I have a feeling that things are going to be a lot different from now on," Elsa said as they ran.

"I had the same feeling." Hiccup agreed with his sister.

And they were.

While Elsa was still feared, at least now she might be able to make a friend out of Luna. And Hiccup might be able to learn some stuff he could use in dragon training through Toothless as he did with the eel.

Hiding two dragons from the village while they despise Elsa for her powers to freeze, they were definitely going to start getting attention from Hiccup's training sessions.

Things are changing. Only time will tell if it's for better or for worse.
