Disgrace.

That's how they feel right now.

Cast out from their home to save their lives from death, Hiccup and Elsa flew out far from the Archipelago. They flew off from the place they once called home and were searching for anything or anywhere they can go.

Luckily Stoick and Gobber packed them some maps and pinpointed some areas they should avoid at all costs. Some areas where they could stop and hide before anyone from Berk could discover them.

But they decided that staying inside the Archipelago was a big mistake and that they needed to get as much distance as they could. They couldn't stop, they couldn't rest, not until they found a place where they could be safe.

As they kept flying, they started to run into a storm. The further into the storm they went, it seemed to only get worse.

"Hiccup, should we turn back?" Elsa asked as it became harder for her to see ahead of her.

"To where?" Hiccup asked, gesturing behind them. "There's nothing to go back to."

"I know, but we can't just-" Elsa was explaining when there was a jolt of lighting that almost hit them. As the blast cleared, Elsa noticed that they didn't get away scot-free. "Hiccup!"

Hiccup looked to where Elsa was pointing and noticed the tail fin for Toothless was currently on fire. "Oh no!"

Toothless immediately started losing momentum and start to fall into the ocean.

"Hiccup!" Elsa cried as she flew down to grab her brother, but only managed to save Toothless using Luna and just decided to dive off and save her brother.

As soon as Elsa hits the water, she started to look around to try and find her brother. When she spotted his unconscious form sinking, she shot a blast of ice underneath him to use as a raft. As soon as he breached the surface, Elsa climbed onto the raft and tried to make sure that he was okay.

"Hiccup?" Elsa asked and saw he was breathing, just knocked unconscious and took up some water. Luckily it wasn't enough for him to start suffocating or anything, just enough to the point that she wished she had medical help around.

"Help!" Elsa cried out, wondering where Luna and Toothless got to. "Toothless! Luna!"

Then the raft she created started to be pushed around in the storm, to the point that she couldn't keep them up with her power and started to fall back into the water.

Elsa held onto her brother as she tried to keep the two of them afloat, even though it was becoming increasingly difficult to perform in this weather.

As she started to grow tired from the kicking to keep them afloat, Elsa started to fall under the water and as a last-minute attempt, she decided to use the only tactic she had left and created a giant blast of mist into the sky, lighting it up.

Elsa swore she saw Toothless being carried by Luna in the distance, but also another dragon in the area. Making her think this might have been a bad idea if that dragon decides to make them its next meal.

Before she could even think too much of that, she started to grow weaker and fell underneath the water. Once then, she looked up and saw the lightning outlining a dragon the size of a Nightmare.

She heard what sounded like a muffled voice, due to the fact she can't hear well underwater. But the fact she heard a voice at all was the most surprising part of that.

Before she passed out, she noticed a tail that looked like a silver Deadly Nadder's spine tail entering the ocean that was quickly followed by a... hand? There was most definitely a hand that came into the water near the spines, almost like using it as a sort of ladder.

Elsa reached out to the mysterious hand, feeling like this was some sort of rescue attempt, and all the while holding onto her brother as they were pulled from the ocean. Elsa and Hiccup both landed unconscious as their rescuer saw that they had dragons of their own.

Carrying one another.

"Okay. This is definitely not what I was expecting from the night shift, girl." Their savior commented as she never expected to run into a Night Fury, not even considering a... Light Fury, and two people in the water. "Come on. Let's get them back home, get them checked on. Who knows how long they've been out here?"

Their hero wears a long-sleeve, light gray shirt with a black, short-sleeved hooded shirt over it, a brown mask to hide her identity, a brown leather vest, wristbands, dark gray pants, and brown boots. She has three black belts, as well as one that holds a horn. She has metallic-like shoulder guards, bracers, knee pads, and a skirt all made from the scales of the dragon she was currently riding.

Once she made it far enough from the storm, she removed her hood and mask to reveal she has green eyes. Long black hair frames her face with a fringe parted on the right side and a side braid placed over her left shoulder.

The dragon she was currently riding was a Razorwhip. That is a four-legged dragon with a long, slender neck, as well as metal-like, reflective scales. It has a long ledge on the top of its snout and a short, stumpy one on the bottom.

Its body is covered in armor-like plates with two talons on each foot. The Razorwhip appears to have a long, thin tail, similarly made of overlapping, metal-like scales.

However, the sharp, spine-like scales can be raised all along the tail similar to the tail spines of a Deadly Nadder. The Razorwhip also has spikes all along with its wings, teeth that seem to wrap around the edge of its mouth, and high ridges over its eyes that resemble eyelashes.

The name of their rescuer was simply Heather. She was from a tribe of people who raise and protect Razorwhips, not unlike the dragon she was currently riding.

"Let's hope the Wingmaiden's are okay with this, Windshear. Otherwise, we're in a lot of trouble." Heather whispered to herself and her dragon as she brought the four visitors in for a landing.

Hiccup was resting peacefully after being rescued and was awakened by Toothless sniffing him. Hiccup opened his eyes and immediately saw nothing but Toothless nudging him.

"Hey, Toothless." Hiccup said as Toothless started to lick him. "Hey, I'm happy to see you, too, Bud."

Toothless started to get excited and stepped on Hiccup's stomach, causing him to jump up in pain. That's when Hiccup started to look around and notice that they were in an unfamiliar place.

Looking at where he was sleeping, Hiccup noticed he was on some bed made out of leaves. As he started to look around where he was, he only became more confused.

"Where are we?" Hiccup asked, wondering what happened while he was asleep.

Just as he asked this, the doors opened and Toothless got into a defensive mode as three women wearing similar armor to what Heather was wearing, just covering more of their bodies, and a few of them wearing helmets walked in and stood over the door, making Hiccup start to believe that he was captured and started to fear for Elsa.

"Uh...hi?" Hiccup decided to go with, no idea what else to say.

"Ah. You're awake." Someone else said as Hiccup looks at who he had to guess was their leader wandering in. "My name is Atali. You're safe here, young Viking."

"Wait, wait." Hiccup said, trying to stand up, still a little weak as Toothless gave him a hand. "Who...where am I? What's happened? Where's my sister?"

"Please, remain calm," Atali spoke calmly and soothingly to help calm Hiccup down. "One of my Wingmaidens rescued you from a terrible storm. The lady who was with you is safe, as well as her dragon. You both are alive and well and on our island home."

Hiccup sighed in relief and was happy to hear that they were both okay. "Thank you."

"She has been awake during your recovery and has been worried about you," Atali informed him.

"How long have I been out?" Hiccup was starting to question.

"Two days," Atali informed him and gestured to a cup one of the other women held out for him. "Now drink from this golden goblet. This is the purest of all herbal tea. It will give you great strength."

Hiccup took it and was a little skeptical at first but decided that it was best to at least try and trust them. Slowly drinking it down, he started to become fond of it, as it was the best drink he's ever tasted.

"Wow." Hiccup commented. "Thanks." He then looked outside the tent and wondered what Elsa was up to. "Can I see my sister?"

"Of course," Atali said as she stepped aside and allowed Hiccup to walk outside.

Hiccup walked outside and was amazed at seeing their village and bridges connecting huts. "Whoa." Toothless then came out beside him and Hiccup realized his tail was damaged. "Don't worry, Bud. I'll get that sorted later."

"Your sister is just down here." Atali walked out and showed Hiccup the way.

As they walked, Hiccup noticed the dragon wings on her back. And then he noticed there were a lot of women flying around the village to get in and out of the huts.

"Uh...how is that possible?" Hiccup asked, unsure if he's actually seeing this.

"This is how," Atali said and showed the one attached to her, revealing to be a baby Razorwhip.

"What?" Hiccup had no idea what to say to that.

"Our job as Wingmaiden's are to protect the baby Razorwhips, as they are born blind. Helpless and the mothers cannot protect them against male Razorwhips. Adult males will feed on the babies unless someone stops them. This is why all males are banned from the island." Atali explains as she looked down in sadness. "Their mothers understand they will stay with us until they can stand and are strong enough to fly. Then they fly on our backs until they are old enough to defend themselves."

"Wow." Hiccup was surprised to hear but then started to worry about him and Toothless. "Wait...what about us?"

Atali saw they had grown afraid after hearing that and knew it'd be best to assure him. "Not to worry, you are guests on the island."

"Well, that's a relief." Hiccup sighed as he heard what sounded like fighting. "What's happening?"

"Oh, your sister has asked us to teach her to control her...gift," Atali said as she gestured down to the ground, and he saw Elsa standing in the middle of a circle of Wingmaiden's.

Hiccup kneeled on the wood to watch this and as one of them run in to swing their weapon, Elsa spins to dodge the attack and raced her hand to shoot the ground, covering it in ice. That causes the Wingmaiden to slip and fall.

Smiling, Elsa looked over to another one and shot a wave of ice that turned into icicles that pinned her against the wall. As more started to charge in, more than one at a time, Elsa raised her foot and slammed it against the ground. Ice started to spread from her point of impact and caused everyone to slip.

"Whoa." Hiccup was shocked by what he was seeing.

"She's been getting good at that." Heather's voice called, causing Hiccup to stand and turn to face her. "Nice to finally meet you, Hiccup."

"Hiccup, this is Heather. The Wingmaiden who had rescued the two of you and brought you both to our home." Atali introduced the two of them.

"Oh, thank you. I owe you my life." Hiccup told Heather.

Heather laughed and shrugged. "It was nothing. I was just happy to have been there to save you."

"Come," Atali told Hiccup as she started to fly. "We have prepared a feast for your recovery."

Hiccup then noticed he needed to catch up as he didn't have a way to fly over. Heather seems to notice this and whispered.

That gained Hiccup's attention when Windshear flew over and landed. "Come on. I'll give you a lift."

"Wow." Hiccup was shocked to see she has her own full-grown Razorwhip. "You have your own dragon?"

"Yep. This is Windshear." Heather introduced them as Windshear sniffed and licked Hiccup, causing Heather to laugh. "I think she likes you."

"Nice to meet you, Windshear." Hiccup greeted the dragon.

"Later I can show you the place where we create our armor out of their scales," Heather promised and that intrigued Hiccup.

"Your armor is made from dragon scales?" Hiccup wanted clarification.

"Yep," Heather confirmed. "Dragons tend to shed a lot. Trust me, you'll realize that sooner or later."

With that, she took off to the skies, and Toothless couldn't help but feel left behind a little and followed after his rider.
