Hiccup and Elsa were given a tour of the Wingmaiden's home, an explanation of how they ended up here as a refresher, and Elsa has already informed the women of the island of their situation. Atali has agreed to allow the two of them to stay until they could find a place to stay.

But Hiccup had an idea that could help Berk before they left forever. They can't go back to help their father, but they can go back and stop the raids from the dragons. If they returned to the nest, they might be able to kill the 'queen' as they thought of back before they were banished from Berk.

But for that to work, they were going to need to fix Toothless' tail. That was going to take a few days, as Hiccup was going to be working on Toothless' tail and Elsa was going to be training with the Wingmaiden.

That was exactly what Hiccup got an early start on the next morning, fixing Toothless' tail so that he and his dragon would be safe. Working in their blacksmith's shop, with the permission of Alita of course, he got to work on the new tailfin so that the two of them could get back in the air.

While he was working on it, Heather couldn't help but notice how early he was up and joined him in the workshop. "Hey, you're up early."

"Oh, Heather, hey." Hiccup greeted her, this being one of the few times that a girl has acknowledged his existence. "Just wanted to get the jump on this."

Heather strolled over and saw the papers on his tailfin and was amazed to see the components that go into creating the tailfin. "Wow, you designed these yourself?"

"Uh, yeah." Hiccup answered as he scratched his neck, not used to amazing people.

Heather was looking over his handiwork and gave him a bit of advice that might help him. "You know, with a shorter connection rod, it might be able to push you back in the saddle and make you more streamlined."

Hiccup thought of her suggestion and started to understand the benefits of it. "Which would increase our speed. That's brilliant!"

Heather blushed and played with her hair a little at the compliment. "Thanks. I used to be a small part-time blacksmith back home."

"Really? Where are you originally from?" Hiccup wonders as he started to consider her advice in his designs.

"Berserker Island," Heather answered, getting Hiccup to stop and look over to see her look of honesty. "I know, I look a little too...calm for that, don't I?"

Hiccup was honestly thinking that and shrugged as he quickly got back to work. "Yeah, if I'm being honest, you are."

"Heard it before," Heather assured him as she walked over and watched as he cooled down some of the metal. "Daughter to Oswald the Agreeable."

"You're his daughter?" Hiccup asked, never hearing that Oswald had a daughter. "I never knew he had one."

"He likes to keep me hidden from the crazies," Heather explains. "But then...he died."

"Right, then Dagur took over, didn't he?" Hiccup asked, remembering the last time Dagur visited Berk.

"He did...until..." Heather started to tear up at the memory and Hiccup was shocked to hear he never heard Dagur had passed on. "And when that happened...I was distraught. I left Berserker Island. I couldn't stay there, and that's how I found Alita. We met in some marketplace while I was looking for food. Offered me a place here with the Wingmaiden's where I met Windshear."

"Must've been hard on your own." Hiccup said as he was beginning to focus more on her than the tail.

"It was," Heather admitted with a sigh and looked to Windshear and pet her neck. "But I found a place to stay and be welcomed." She then looked over to Hiccup and blushed. "But I still felt like something was missing."

"That's what me and Elsa have been searching for." Hiccup replied as he got back to focusing on the tail. "A place that we can finally be welcomed with open arms."

Heather smiled and leaned on the board for the doorway and couldn't help but feel a small connection with Hiccup. "Well, you are welcomed here."

"Thanks for that. And again for saving our life." Hiccup responded.

The two then fell into a comfortable silence together. Neither one of them knew what to say next. Seems things were becoming a little bit awkward after that statement.

"Well, I'll leave you to work," Heather said and walked off to leave him alone. "See you around."

"See you later, Heather." Hiccup said and went back to work.

As soon as she left, Elsa came up and leaned in the doorway. "Is something happening here?"

Hiccup spun and saw his sister standing outside. "I'm just fixing up Toothless' tail."

Elsa looked at him suspiciously and then over to Heather who just climbed onto Windshear and was taking off.

"I'm talking about between you and Heather over there," Elsa explained and looked over to the girl in question. "I couldn't help but overhear that conversation."

"It was just a conversation." Hiccup shrugged it off as her being friendly. "She was just being friendly."

Elsa rolled her eyes and knew her brother was dense. "You're such a lovable idiot, you know that, right?"

Hiccup stopped his work and looked over at his sister. "What'd I do?"

Elsa just walked away and left Hiccup alone to work on his invention. Hiccup just watch her leave and questioned what she was talking about. But he didn't keep thinking of it before going back into his work to finish the tail.

With Elsa, she watched as all of the Wingmaiden women flew around, feeling free and she couldn't help but feel envious. She has been suppressing her gift her entire life, yet now she can do what she wishes, show what her powers are capable of. These people aren't afraid of her, and her brother has never feared her.

"The snow glows white on the planet tonight, not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the queen." Elsa started to sing to herself as she strolled through the forest away from the village.

Elsa stared out at the view from where she was standing. Thinking about how far she has come. How much time she has already wasted living in fear and isolation from her old home.

"The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside. Couldn't keep it in, Heaven knows I tried..." Elsa sang looking down as she held herself and thought back to Stoick and what happened because she couldn't control herself.

She then took a deep breath and walked as she continued to sing. She thought back to what her adoptive father taught her. "Don't let them in. Don't let them see. Be the good girl you always have to be. Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know." She sang as she stared at her hands before smiling and knowing that this was always meant to be. "Well, now they know!"

"Let it go! Let it go!" Elsa sang as she waves her hands like a majestic water fountain, "Can't hold it back anymore!" She then created a snowman that she and Hiccup would usually make together during the snowy days on Berk and continued on her journey up the hill.

She was feeling more and more confident with each passing lyric as the ice magic grew, "Let it go! Let it go!" She sent several strands of snow into the air, and they flow down slowly. "Turn away and slam the door!" She then slammed her hands backward, and the snow immediately fell to the ground. "I don't care! What they're going to say!" She sent strands of snow swirling across the forest. "Let the storm rage on...The cold never bothered me anyway!"

As she continued through the forest, she started to make her way up the hill, she smiled and kept on making it up with her grin growing as she keeps going.

"It's funny how some distance Makes everything seem small..." She began to climb the hill as she continued, quickly turning back as if to metaphorically see how far she has climbed since Berk kept pushing her down. "And the fear that once controlled me can't get to me at all!" She then jumped and quickly ran higher. "It's time to see what I can do! To test the limits and break through!"

She reached a gap in a canyon in the hill and decided to test out her powers by shooting a stream of them to create a snowy bridge.

"No right, no wrong, no rules for me!" She placed a foot on the first piece turning it into ice, "I'm free!"

Elsa then proceeded to create the new bridge as she ran across them to the top of the hill.

"Let it go! Let it go! I am one with the wind and sky!" Once she reached the top she ran and spun around, enjoying the feeling of finally not needing to suppress her powers anymore. "Let it go! Let it go! You'll never see me cry! Here I stand and here I stay! Let the storm rage on!"

"My power flurries through the air into the ground! My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around! And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast!" She then looked to the sky as she boldly sang, "I'm never going back! The past is in the past!" She changed the style of her hair as it went down on her right shoulder, "Let it go, let it go!"

"And I'll rise like the break of dawn!" She sang as she created a new ice dress and cape, "Let it go, let it go! That perfect girl is gone!" She then walked her way to the sunlight, "Here I stand, in the light of day! Let the storm rage oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!"

Elsa's hair is now loose, and she wears a white off-the-shoulder dress with a right knee-high slit, light grayish-blue leggings, and white long sleeves which have the symbol of the four elements at the shoulder. Along her chest down to her waist are diamond-shaped ice crystals. Her translucent cape fades to blue at the bottom and is split in two, like fairy wings, draping over her and she wears white open-toe ballet flats.

Elsa then declared as her storm started to cool down a little and she had a smile on her face. Finally realizes what she can do without any fear of others thinking less of her. She had nobody that would think she was a monster now it's just her and Hiccup versus the world (and the Wingmaidens if you wanna get technical).

"The cold never bothered me anyway..." Elsa stated as she basked in the snow and the light of the sun, feeling like it has become the dawn of a new era.

One where she could finally see how much she has been holding off. One where she and Hiccup wouldn't be held back by others and forcing them to be something that they're not.

They're not dragon killers. They're not Vikings.

They were free to figure out who they are.

And Elsa discovered who she was. A spirit meant to be free and not hold back. Hiccup wasn't a dragon fighter, but a dragon lover and a good man.

They were finally free.

There was just one more problem they needed to face before starting their new lives.

They were going to kill the Queen of Dragons, the Red Death.
