Later on, Hiccup was gearing up to finally put an end to the war between Berk and the dragons underneath the Red Death's control. Elsa should be back soon, and the two of them knew it was a now or never situation to take down the monster and have a chance to save their father. They might never know if it worked, but at least saying that they tried was better than just running.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is your plan?" Atali asks Hiccup as he and Elsa got ready to head

"We believe if we can kill Red Death, the Queen Dragon, the dragon raids on Berk will end, and they will find somewhere else to live." Hiccup explained their plan to her and Heather as they turned their attention to something else. "What? What are we...?"

That's when he turned to face what they were looking at and saw Elsa coming back after her song. Her long flowing dress drifted off in the wind as her hair did the same. She sheepishly smiled at the three who were just staring down at her in shock.

"Well?" Elsa asked as she rubbed her arm. "How do I look?"

"Someone's embraced her new freedom." Heather complimented with a chuckle. "You look great."

Hiccup was at a loss for words as he sees Elsa really was being held back by their home and Viking heritage. "Wow."

"Thanks," Elsa said with a smile. Then she got serious as she put on a serious face. "Now we have a dragon to kill, don't we?"

"Yes, we do," Hiccup confirmed as Luna came up and almost looked shocked at Elsa's look. "We'll be back in a day, hopefully."

"And if not?" Heather asks.

"Come find us," Elsa asked as she got on top of Luna. "If there's anything left." She muttered.

Toothless and Luna froze at the statement and looked up at her.

"I'm kidding!" Elsa said with a chuckle. "Hopefully."

Heather walked over to Hiccup before he could climb onto Toothless and smiled. "Be careful, okay? I won't be around to catch you if you fall again."

"I'll try my best." Hiccup promises. "Thanks for giving us a place to stay for afterward."

"Anyone who can tame a dragon as powerful and deadly as a Night Fury and is as kind to dragons as he is his family, you are welcome back when your mission is complete," Atali promises the two of them. "You are very brave to try and go back to save the people who tossed you out."

"Well, no matter what they think of us, we don't want them to be killed from starvation," Elsa stated, still having mixed feelings about her old home.

"And we don't want those dragons to be hurt or eaten by either our people or that Queen." Hiccup confirmed to them as they climbed onto their dragons.

They then took off into the air, flying over back towards Dragon Island. After their day of traveling and finding a place to stay, they still needed to save the dragons.

After a day of flying, Elsa and Hiccup made it to the Archipelago and were flying up to the fog leading back to the island. The two just floated there, their dragons waiting for the two of them to be ready for this. Once they go into that fog, there was a chance one of them (if any) wasn't leaving.

"You know, it's not too late to turn back if you want." Hiccup tells her, not wanting to force his sister into this.

"I've come this far, why stop now?" Elsa states and Hiccup smiles and is happy to see his sister was happy to go with him. "I'll never leave your side."

Hiccup smiled and was happy she would never leave. "Thank you."

It took them a moment, but they kept their calm as they started to fly through. As they went through, they saw a few recognizable ships.

"Bet ya Gobber's wondering where that went." Hiccup joked, trying to lighten the mood.

It seemed to work as Elsa managed to chuckle at his statement just as they reached Dragon Island. The mountain still sent shivers down their spines at the memory of the last time that they were there.

"What are we gonna do?" Elsa asks, thinking they should've discussed the plan beforehand. They did some planning, but those were more bullet points if anything rather than a plan.

"I'm planning to do something stupid," Hiccup says as he flies up to the top of the mountain and Elsa starts shooting a hole into the side of the mountain to draw the Red Death out using Luna's plasms blasts.

Inside the mountain, Toothless fires at the Red Death and agitates it and it starts coming after them. The two of them then fly towards the hole that Elsa made for him, and they fly out as the Red Death destroys a whole part of the mountain and all of the dragons fly away from the fight.

"Well, she's a bigger queen than I remembered," Elsa says as she avoids the fire from the queen.

The Red Death starts pulling her and Luna in as Toothless comes back flying down and blasts the queen, stopping Elsa lose her balance and beginning to fall off Luna. Toothless turns around and flies fast and grabs onto her before she could hit the ground.

"Did you get her?" Hiccup asks Toothless.

Toothless looks under him and sees Elsa smile at him. "Hey." She says while waving at him.

Toothless put his tongue out and smiles at her, causing Elsa to chuckle. Luna comes underneath them and Toothless flips Elsa over and drops her back onto Luna's back and they go back to fighting.

"That thing has wings!" Hiccup took notice as he was getting a closer look at the thing, giving him a better idea of how to make his plan workout.

"Well, let's see if it can use them," Elsa says as the two turn around and flies as fast as the Furys could go.

The two of them then blast the dragon, flying away, and see if that had some effect on it. They started to look around and saw there was a lot of dust from their blast and wondered what effect it had.

"Do you think that worked?" Elsa asks him as they turn and see the Red Death flying behind them slowly with its gigantic wings.

"Well, she can fly." Hiccup states as they split up and the Death follows Hiccup into the air.

"Okay, gang, time to disappear," Hiccup says as they all fly into the clouds and the Red Death gets ready to fire.

The queen looks around for them and can't see them. Hiccup starts blasting it from the sky, staying clear of its eyes. Luna came in, blasting the Queen with her blasts as Elsa helped by sending ice over a few of its eyes. This allowed them to blind it for a moment or two. The Red Death starts shooting fire everywhere out of anger, letting a roar from the pain due to the ice on her eyes.

"Watch out!" Hiccup yells as they avoid the flames as the Red Death tries stopping them.

The four of them flew around and tried to avoid the flames as they came across one another.

"Are you good?" Elsa asked her brother.

"Yeah, I think I'm good!" Hiccup promises.

"I think we've weighed her down," Elsa commented.

"Okay, let's see if this works," Hiccup says as they fly both towards the Red Death and bast her again.

This time, it took notice of the two riders and the Furies before chasing after them through the darkness, even though it was still blinded.

"Just hold on, bud. Stay with me." Hiccup says as they wait for the right moment as they come closer to the ground.

The Red Death gets ready to strike, sucking air in to be ready to blast off the two of them. Elsa saw her opening and turned around on Luna, shooting its eyes and causing the dragon to be blinded by it.

"Now!" Hiccup yells as Toothless flips around and blasts into the queen's mouth.

The queen then begins to fall fast to the ground and Toothless flies high, trying to get away from the ground. Elsa and Luna took a separate way and got clear of the explosion with Elsa blasting the fire if it got too close with a wave of ice. Not enough to calm the flame, but enough to slow it down.

The two boys flew upward, as they were stuck between a giant rock and a crashing dragon when it crashed and runs into the tail. As they tried to avoid it, Hiccup gets hit by Toothless and the dragon turns around before he flies into the flames to rescue him.

Elsa uses her powers to clear the dust and immediately starts looking for Hiccup, trying to see if he survived. She shouts for his name and plans to search everywhere until she finds him. Her brother was the only family that she had left, and she refused to lose him when they were finally free of their past.

When she saw a figure in the shadows, there was no doubt in her mind that it was Hiccup and Toothless.

"Oh no," Elsa says as she falls to her knees in sadness as Toothless wakes up and sees her next to him. "Hiccup...I'm sorry..."

Toothless saw she was distraught and opens his wings to reveal Hiccup.

"Hiccup!" Elsa shouts and checks for a pulse. "He's okay." She says, happily and scratches the dragon's nostril. "Thank you for saving him, Toothless." She tells the dragon for saving her only friend and notices his foot. "Oh, no."

Heather stood out into the sea over Wingmaiden Island, wondering how her new friends were doing. She stayed there and watched the skies for a Night or Light Fury, hoping that they would someday show up.

Atali noticed her worry over the past day or two, and even the conversations and meetings she has been having with the boy. She has never seen Heather as happy as she was with those two visitors. More specifically with Hiccup. Seem she has grown a custom to the boy, to the point she worries for his safety.

"Still nothing?" Atali asks as she flew over to Heather.

"Still nothing," Heather reported, starting to get worried by the lack of them. "They said to..."

"In due time." Atali interrupted, knowing what Heather was going to ask for. Because it wasn't the first time that she has asked for it. "It's a day worth of travel there and back before we can start to worry for them."

They then heard a screech fill the air, causing them to look and see Toothless flying in, but Heather was confused when they saw that it was Elsa riding him and Luna flying on her own.

When she flew in and saw the two of them on the pad, they quickly landed and they saw Hiccup was bruised and injured, being held on for dear life by Elsa as she slid off the dragon.

"He needs help," Elsa told the two when they looked and noticed the damage that had been done to him.

Hiccup was placed under Heather's care, as she insisted upon and Atali saw it would be best for her mind and health if she was the one to care for Hiccup, allowing him to care for the leg.

Around the leg was fine, but his entire left foot was scorched and burned to the point they needed to remove it to stop an infection from spreading to the rest of him.

Elsa stayed with him when she wasn't training with the others or flying with Luna, even taking Toothless for a flight or two. She understood why Hiccup made that cheat sheet now.

Right now, it was a waiting game to see if Hiccup would be okay at all.
