After the whole Scauldron incident and Bruni, they were back to sleep. They worked out trying to make a plan for if the salamander burst into flames again. Elsa was fast asleep resting in her bed and stirring in her sleep.

All Elsa saw was on fire. Looking around, the world seemed bigger than it was giving her the impression that she was child size.

"Elsa!" A voice called out.

Spinning to try and find who called her, Elsa couldn't find anything. But she saw someone walking through the fire. He was a tall and muscular figure with glowing red eyes.

He had a sword in hand and Elsa raised her hands, mist coming out of them to take him down. He raised his sword and swung it at Elsa.

"Elsa!" Another voice cried out.

But before anything could happen, Elsa gasped awake and jumped out of her bed. Looking outside, she noticed it was already morning and saw there was no need to go back to sleep.

Getting up, she made her way out to start the day and got changed.

Hiccup and Heather were already up, and he was watching the sky for Heather as she flew around. Hiccup was taking notes on her speed with the sundial near him.

As she passed another marker, Hiccup marked the time it took for her to reach. That's when he noticed Elsa walking up to him, rubbing her eyes and he noticed her sleep deprivation.

"Whoa. You've seen better mornings." Hiccup commented.

"Maybe my sleep is still getting used to the short hair thing," Elsa commented as she rubbed her short hair. "I should have left it a little longer."

"Bad dreams?" Hiccup wonders.

"More...odd than bad," Elsa admitted as Heather flew through the tunnel leading to the clubhouse.

"Whoo!" Heather landed Windshear. "How'd I do?"

"Fastest you've been so far." Hiccup congratulated.

But then they watched as Olaf came running up to them with a jump and a skip. "Hey. I saw something that we should take a look at."

"Where?" Heather wonders where Olaf had gotten himself to.

"Out on the shore." Olaf gestured out to the location.

"I'll get Toothless." Hiccup offered and walked off to find him.

A while later, the three of them flew off towards the shore. Olaf led the group to where it was and they noticed a dingy off the shore.

"Oh, that can't be good." Heather started to worry about who was under that dingy.

"Who could be this far out?" Elsa questions.

"Let's find out." Hiccup said as they flew down to the ground.

When they reached the ground, Olaf plopped off Luna, and Elsa quickly joined him. Heather and Windshear were the next to land Hiccup and Toothless were the next two to land.

But the moment that they landed, Toothless and Luna started to growl at the boat. That confused Hiccup and Elsa as they tried to calm down the situation.

"Hey, what's going on?" Elsa asked as she petted Luna.

"Seems they're spooked by something." Hiccup took notice.

"By the dingy?" Heather wonders as she saw the only dragon behaving was Windshear. "Hang on." She slid off of Windshear and started to make her way to the boat. "I don't see any markings or crests on the sails."

"No footprints in the sand." Hiccup noticed. "Well, aside from our resident snowman."

"We have another snowman?" Olaf asked in shock, not understanding it was him. "How come I've never seen him?"

"So, if this was just a stray boat, then it's nothing to worry about." Elsa shrugged.

Then they heard something rumble inside the boat, giving the impression that someone was inside.

"Unless there's someone inside," Heather commented, drawing her axe. "Just to be safe."

Then Heather crawled under the opening of the boat and found there was a figure inside of the boat.

Her shirt was blue with fewer spikes on her skirt and a red skirt underneath. She wears shoulder protectors with a red leather strap holding them in place and arm bandages but has red leather knee pads on her leggings. Her hair is held in a poorly braided braid, but she has swept her bangs to the side.

"Yep. Someone's in here." Heather called out to the others. "Looks like she's alive."

The figure started to stir awake and gasped when she saw Heather. "Hey, it's okay, I'm here to help."

"Where am I?" She asked Heather.

"You're on our island," Heather assured her. "You're safe." She then started to back away. "You might wanna prepare yourself."

"For what?" She asked as she came out of the boat.

But that's when she came out and noticed the dragons and was spooked. Except the dragons aren't what scared her, it was the two who were beside the dragons.

"Hiccup?!" She asked as she looked over at Elsa. "Elsa?!"

The two siblings then finally put together just who their surprise visitor was. It was a few years since they last saw her and didn't recognize her at first.

"You?!" The two proclaim in shock.

Out of all the shores in all the world, she washed up on theirs.

Astrid.

Even though the protest of Hiccup and Elsa, Heather took Astrid to the Edge where she checked her out for injuries. Seems that Astrid was bruised up but wasn't severely injured.

"So...I see you guys and her have some history." Heather took notice as she was talking to the siblings in the main room.

"You could say that," Elsa commented as she looked at Hiccup. "It's Astrid."

"That girl from your stories?" Heather asked as she looked back to the beds where Astrid was. "Okay, I can see what you were talking about."

"Isn't it convenient that she managed to make it to the island far away from your home?" Olaf asked the group.

"He does have a point." Elsa had to agree. "There's no way that she managed to get this far away from Berk on purpose."

"And she's gonna need to go home one way or another." Hiccup was sorry to say they couldn't exactly keep Astrid here. "But if she goes back-"

"She tells everyone where we are, it could mean trouble." Heather guessed what he was saying. "For us and our dragons."

"And if she's as stubborn as when we left, she's definitely gonna brag to the whole village." Elsa sighed as she then looked around and noticed someone missing. "Where'd Olaf go?"

That's when they looked around and noticed that there was no sign of the snowman. When they looked out the walkways, they noticed a few snowflakes leading towards Astrid.

"Oh, no!" They cried in terror.

Astrid watched the group of them talk for a while as she looked out and saw the entire island that they call home. Ever since Elsa and Hiccup escaped Berk, the entire island was on the search for them for months. But they didn't see a sign of them and figured their precious dragons ate them.

Yet here she was. Standing on an island that they found. Standing on a home they created.

"Hi!" Olaf cries, causing Astrid to shriek.

Acting on instinct, she grabbed Olaf by the arm and tried to slam him over the ground. But that ended with her ripping out his arm and throwing a stick.

When she noticed what she did, she noticed the snowman and drew her dagger and tossed it into the snowman's chest. But that didn't seem to even hurt the snowman as he looked down at the weapon.

Olaf chuckled as he poked the weapon. "I've been impaled."

"What..." Astrid started to calm down when she saw he wasn't dangerous. "What are you?"

"Uh..." Olaf started to look at his one arm. "I think I'm a snowman."

"How...are you...?" Astrid didn't even know what to think as she pulled the dagger out of him.

"Olaf," Elsa called out, getting their attention as they separated. "Come on."

Olaf walked over towards Elsa as Hiccup and Heather come up. "Okay, we need answers."

"You need answers?" Astrid asked as she eyed Hiccup's completely changed look, Elsa's new ice dress and hairstyle, and their new friend. "Don't I need some answers?"

"No." Hiccup stated coldly. "Now what are you doing out here?"

Astrid sighed and knew she needed to explain it to them. "Well, it's a long story."

"Got somewhere to be?" Heather asked as she leaned in the doorway.

Astrid saw she had a point and decided to just admit it. "A lot has happened since you guys ran away."

"Like what?" Elsa asked with a stern expression.

Astrid knew that this wasn't a good idea and decided to go with it. "Stoick...he was cast out."

"What?" Hiccup and Elsa jumped in shock to hear that Stoick was cast out.

"After he helped you escape, he was found with treason." Astrid was sorry to admit. "He willingly left if Gobber was left alone." They were at least happy to hear that Gobber was okay and didn't need to worry about him. "But once he was cast out and you guys left...there was no heir of Berk. It was given to-"

"Spitelout." Hiccup and Elsa easily guessed that Stoick's brother took the role of Chief with their father gone.

"Yeah." Astrid then got to the worst of it. "But things were going smoothly for a few years...until they came."

"Who?" Hiccup wonders.

"The Outcasts," Astrid answered with a tear. "They showed up on our shores. We fought, but they had someone on the inside this whole time. Feeding them information. They took me and the others as prisoners when we tried to fight back."

"What does that imply?" Hiccup questions.

"Me. Fishlegs. Snotlout. The twins." Astrid remembered who was taken captive. "I managed to escape with their help, stole a dingy before they noticed I was gone and managed to get out."

"Someone was working with the Outcasts while living on Berk?" Elsa was shocked to hear they had a traitor. "Who?"

Astrid couldn't believe the irony now and answered the question. "Mildew."

As soon as they were told that, Elsa immediately needed to leave to blow off some steam. Screaming at the top of her lungs, she sent icicle after icicle into targets across the clubhouse.

"I can't believe it!" Elsa cried as she walked up and pulled an icicle from the target. "That old, sheep marrying, smelly..."

"Seems she's taking the news well." Hiccup commented sarcastically as his leg dangled over the ledge.

"You'd think she'd be happier the old man that's been trying to kill her had an actual reason to do so," Heather commented as she stood and crossed her arms.

"Thanks for the recap," Olaf tells her.

"Oh, she's happy. Just mad that the whole village agreed with him." Hiccup sighed as he watched his sister freeze everything in sight. "Stoick and her were probably the best defenses the village had. Get them both out of the way, then Berk was ripe for the taking."

"Then what do we do?" Elsa asked as she tried to calm herself down.

"We can't leave the guys in an Outcast prison." Hiccup could tell that wasn't an option. "And we can't leave Berk to suffer from being taken over."

"So, now you're saying we need to go back to Outcast Island, meaning that we need to save the same people who insulted us for years," Elsa recalled what they need to do. "That means we need to go to Berk, save them as well afterward."

"Okay, yeah, I could understand that you're a bit irritated. It's not like I'm happy about it." Hiccup informs Elsa, remembering the torment they went through. "But we can't just leave them to suffer."

Elsa crossed her arms and sighed, knowing that he was right. "We need a day where we can just do the opposite of what we'd usually do."

"Okay, even if we were to do that, what about her?" Heather asked as she gestured towards Astrid.

That was a question swimming around all of their heads. None of them were truly sure of what they were going to do with her.

"We've got to get her home, and Berk is going to need something more to defend it." Hiccup said with a sigh.

"Are you going where I think you're going?" Elsa was worried about what he was thinking.

"We need to teach Astrid to train a dragon." Hiccup said with a sigh.
