Berk.

Ever since the day that they were banished, things have gotten worse. And that wasn't made clearer to the people than when Alvin the treacherous showed up on their shores.

With their defenses numbered and already taken care of, it was less than a day until they had all of Berk under their thumb.

"Ah. Our new home." Alvin said as he sat on Stoick's chair in the Great Hall. "Who knew that it would have been so easy? That old goat actually pulled it off."

"It was quite clever, sir." Savage agreed with him, trying not to enforce his wrath.

"I would have thought it would have been difficult to get rid of Stoick and his kids." Alvin then chuckled as he stood up. "But those kids...they went and got themselves outcasted!"

"Yes, they left their home defenseless!" Savage agreed as he followed Alvin like a shadow.

"It feels...too easy." Alvin was sorry to admit it. "The village is mine! And yet..."

"Oh, who cares how easy it was?" Mildew asks as he marched inside. "Berk is yours. Stoick's whole bloodline is gone. And that girl of his is gone."

"Yeah, where did that snow girl come from?" Alvin wonders.

Mildew shrugged, not entirely sure himself. "You'd wanna ask someone like Gobber if you really wanna know."

"Eh, I'm not that interested." Alvin shrugged it off and walked away.

Outside on the shores, there was a patrol on the docks, looking around for any incoming ships. But it was unfortunate for them, what they were dealing with was nothing short of a boat.

Windshear's tail came and wrapped around one of the Outcasts and yanked him into the corners of the cliffs. He didn't have enough time to either react or make a noise to call for help.

One of the other patrols however noticed from the top and was shocked. He got ready to call for reinforcements when Luna unveiled herself to him.

"Ah!" He jumped back at the sight of the dragon. "Where did you come from?"

Elsa then walked up and grabbed his head, slamming it into a rock wall nearby. It was hard enough to just knock him out, leaving him unconscious on the ground.

"She's here with me." Elsa proclaimed with a smile. Then she looked up and saw the place she once called home. "Welcome home..."

Out into the distance from Outcast Island, Toothless and Astor fly were flying around the outskirts of the town to stay hidden. Their powers were separated between Berk and their home which meant they could fight back. Olaf was left with protecting the Edge. It wasn't the best decision, but it was the only one they had.

"Alright, you know where they are?" Hiccup asks Astrid.

"There should be a way to the prison from below," Astrid informs him and gestures downward. "It's where I escaped from here the first time."

"Alright." Hiccup saw that was his and Toothless' entry point. "You go up and cause a diversion. We'll rescue them."

"Got it," Astrid said as she and Stormfly separated from the two of them.

"Well, now we gotta go and rescue everyone who was ever mean to me and Elsa growing up." Hiccup commented on their mission and looked to Toothless. "I'm not the only one who sees some sense of irony here, right?"

Toothless growled in response, agreeing with him.

"Glad it's not just me." Hiccup said as they dived into the water.

The moment that they hit the water, Hiccup started to look around and noticed the entrance that she previously mentioned. He then had Toothless swim over towards it and they enter the caverns underneath the island.

Taking a moment to remove the water, Toothless shakes it off of him and saw most of it landed on Hiccup in the outcome.

"You good?" Hiccup asks his friend, who just ended up laughing at his rider. "Now we just gotta wait for-"

A shockwave from above the caves shook the area they were in and took the two of them off balance. They figured that meant Astrid has started her diversion to get their attention to start their part.

"One thing you can count on about Astrid...she's never subtle." Hiccup had to say with a shrug, running off down the tunnels to where the cells were.

Outside, Astrid was flying around the skies and avoided all of the attacks coming from the bolas, catapults, and just everything that they could throw at them.

"Okay, this is much harder than it looked!" Astrid admitted as she tries to hold onto the dragon's saddle as she was tossed around. "Hiccup, you better hurry it up!"

Down in the cells, the Berk group of teenagers were stuck in their cells. Any attempt to rescue them from Berk would have led to their execution, as well as any attempt to rebel. Asked was able to escape as a planned attempt, but only she was capable of getting away.

"How long is it going to take her?!" Snotlout was already getting restless about how long it was taking Astrid. "It's been days!"

"You do recall she needs to get away, find an island, and convince them to come here to Outcast Island?" Fishlegs reminded him. "It's going to be a while before anyone comes for us."

And as Fishlegs was talking, one of the guards down the hall was quickly tackled by a speeding Night Fury. One of the other guards spotted this and quickly drew his weapon. Walking down and looking around the hall for what had done it, he missed the Night Fury as Toothless came in and blasted him down the hall.

The guard went flying and ended up passing their cell in the process. The twins were the only ones to have noticed the flying guard and were amazed.

"Whoa! Who knew the Outcasts could fly!" Ruffnut stated in amazement.

"Yeah! I wanna be taught that!" Tuffnut stated.

"What are you mutton heads talking about?" Snotlout asks the twins.

And just as they were looking, the last Outcast prison guard was left being blasted down by a familiar dragon. They then were shocked when they saw the Night Fury, which they haven't seen in the last two years.

"You?!" Snotlout asks when he noticed the man. "And who's this?"

"What, a short time without me, and none of you recognize me?" Hiccup asks them.

"Hiccup!?" Fishlegs was surprised to see he was here.

"Trust me, if it wasn't for the fact Berk was my home...I wouldn't be here." Hiccup said as he opened up the cell for them.

"You were unwise to come and release the world's most deadly weapon. Me." Tuffnut said as he marched closer to Hiccup. He didn't seem phased by the threat as Toothless snarled at the boy. "

"I am so happy you came!" Snotlout said, but Hiccup knew he was just afraid of Toothless.

"You...are crazy," Ruffnut said as she pushed Snotlout away. "I like it."

Hiccup sighed and pushed the girl out of the way. "Great."

"How do we get out?" Fishlegs wonders.

"Stick with me. We're gonna commandeer one of the ships at the port." Hiccup said as he climbed onto Toothless. "Astrid will provide air support."

"Astrid will what?" They all ask in shock.

Back on Berk, all of the defenses were crowded by Outcasts just laughing it up with the rest of their men. But when one of them walked off and started to walk down the spiral stairwell, he was knocked out in the back of the head. Heather stood over him with her axe in her hands and a giant smile on her face.

"I might have a bit of a Berserker side," Heather admitted to herself.

"Hey!" Someone seemed to have spotted her as they all raced down and drew their weapons.

But Heather didn't seem worried as she looked over at them. "Hey. Have you met my boyfriend's sister?"

Elsa then leaped off of Luna from above, landing on the outpost, and quickly slammed the ground with her foot. Ice started to spread throughout the outpost and caused the men to slip and scream as they fell down the stairway. Heather grabbed onto Windshear's tail as she lowered it down.

Heather then rose off of the outpost and left the Outcasts to slide down and end up falling off the cliff. That got Mildew, Savage, and Alvin's attention as they ran out of the Great Hall and noticed the frozen outpost.

"What did that?" Alvin asks.

Mildew immediately recognized the handiwork and became fearful. "Oh, Thor...she's here!"

"And she didn't come alone!" Heather cried out as she sent out several quills from Windshear at them. They managed to dodge them and they then looked up at the dragon. "Hi, I'm guessing the one with the beard is Alvin. The older guy is mildew, hi, I've heard so much about you, and...?"

"Uh, Savage, my lady." Savage introduced himself in a terrified tone.

"Savage. Great to meet you." Heather said in a calming tone. "Now...we're gonna offer you this one chance." She then or serious and Windshear readied her spikes. "Get off this island!"

"I will not leave!" Alvin proclaimed.

"Suit yourself." Heather guessed and looked around the area. "Elsa? You've been waiting for this."

Elsa then revealed herself to have been nearby and quickly shot ice at the three of them. Alvin got the ground below him frozen and slipped on the ground. Mildew managed to keep himself standing with his staff as he saw that Elsa was standing in anger.

"Hi, mildew." Elsa snarled in anger.

"You!" Mildew cried in terror.

"What? Is that all you have to say?" Elsa asked as she marched over to him.

Mildew whimpered and tried his best to get away. "Help!"

"Oh, don't bother," Elsa said as she walked even closer, taking small steps on purpose. "We already took care of your men." She wanted to relish in the face of mildew in terror, whimpering in terror as she marched closer. "I've wanted to come here just to see you."

"Please..." Mildew pleaded with her. "Mercy."

"The same mercy that you showed me for years?" Elsa asked as she let mist slide off her fingers. A swirl of snow started to surround the two of them. "The same mercy that you showed my brother? My father?"

Mildew closed his eyes and prepared himself for whatever was to come. But to his surprise, all that came was Elsa calming herself down. The winds and snow started to stop and revealed the two to the world. Heather was surprised as she was expecting to see nothing but a Mildew icicle by this point.

"Then I will." Elsa proclaimed as she lowered her hands. Mildew then looked surprised to see that she was actually showing mercy. "Run."

"What?" Mildew asks.

"Run." Elsa snarled. "As fast, and as far as you can. Then keep going."

Mildew didn't take a second to think or question her and raced off as far as he could from the village. Heather quickly shot out quills to keep Alvin and Savage kept in small quill-made cages.

"You let him go?" Heather was surprised to see as she landed. "After everything, he's done?"

Elsa grew a menacing grin as she looked off to where he ran off. "Now who said I let him go? All I did was let him run."

Heather was a little scared and worried about what she planned. "What did you do?"

"Nothing to be concerned about," Elsa promised her. "You sure we got all the Outcasts?"

"They're not exactly the most quiet of people," Heather assured her, gesturing to a group of people she had tied up. "We got them all." She then leaned on her dragon. "How do you think Hiccup is doing?"

Hiccup and Astrid were flying around the group of defenseless teens as they were heading towards the docks. Hiccup and Toothless got them around the Outcasts and even got them onto the boat. Astrid then came flying in and landed on the side of the boat as Stormfly shot out several quills to hoard off the Outcasts.

"That's the last of them!" Astrid cried.

"Alright. Everyone, get on the boat." Hiccup tells the teens who quickly did what he said. He then grabbed the ropes from the docks and passed one to Astrid. "We're gonna drag the ship back!"

"Will that work?" Astrid wonders as she caught the rope.

"Hasn't failed us before!" Hiccup proclaims as he then took off with one end of the rope. "Hang on!"

They then flew off and dragged the ship, watching as the kids were then dragged off during the sudden burst of speed. They got out of the distance of their catapults, crossbows, and just about anything that they could throw at them. With them as far away as they could get from Outcast Island, all they needed to do was get the kids back. And that was going to be accomplished by the time the sun rose.

Mildew however was running as far and as long as he could just as Elsa demanded of him. He didn't want to risk her, or her dragon was still following to get as far away as he could. But it didn't take him long to remember that he was currently on an island. He only got as far as the same coast where Hiccup and Elsa watched the sun beginning to set and interacted with the Terrible Terrors and started to look around for some sort of exit.

Then he started to calm down when he looked back and saw they weren't coming after him. "Oh... phew." He then laughed and couldn't believe he fell for that threat. "I should have known that girl didn't-"

Then an eruption came out of the water, causing Mildew to jump in terror when he looked back and noticed what was coming out of the water. It was an old friend of the Dragon Riders, who Elsa had called in for a favor that they were owed.

A familiar dragon emerges from the depths of the ocean and towers over the frightened old man as he got a good look at the dragon.

To be exact, the kind of dragon that came out, was a Scauldron. The exact same Scauldron that was rescued from the shores of Dragon's Edge.

Scauldy.

The dragon looked down at the old man and growled at the sight of him. Mildew went back to whimpering in fear at the sight of the dragon who seemed to know exactly who he is.

"Nice...nice dragon." Mildew whimpered out in a quiet voice.

Scauldy however wasn't moved or even phased by his voice as he started to regurgitate water and his pouch became filled with water. Mildew went from quiet to terrified as the dragon spat out hot boiling water at him.

Then it all went quiet.

When the sun rose again on Berk, the people rushed to the docks when they saw Hiccup and Astrid flying in with their kids. Most of them were happy to see them all again, Fishlegs running to his parents, as well as the twins, but then there was Spitelout who was madder than glad that he needed help to get them back.

Then a few of them even managed to get a good look at the fact Astrid was sitting on the back of a dragon.

Many of the people were amazed that she was sitting on the beast, not to mention was receiving help from Stoick's children.

Gobber ran over to the shore and was shocked when he noticed the boy. "Hiccup!"

"Gobber?" Hiccup asked as he dismounted Toothless.

Gobber couldn't handle himself as he ran over and engulfed Hiccup in for a bone-crushing hug. "Oh, look at you!" He then scuffed up Hiccup's hair. "You have grown out your hair!"

"Yeah, I have." Hiccup said as Elsa joined the two. "You two okay?"

"It was easy." Elsa shrugged. "Barely a scratch on me."

"Elsa!" Gobber was happy to see her and her new haircut. "Did you cut your hair?"

"It's a long story." Elsa chuckled as she scratched the back of her short hair.

A town meeting was immediately held to figure out what they were going to do next. A few people were screaming and taking a bit of anger out on the fact Spitelout allowed all of this to happen. Others were pondering what was going to happen next for them now that they know they were not equipped with their current situation. Stormfly, Luna, Toothless, and Windshear weren't really invited and were just left outside to wait. A few of the children got a little curious about the creatures and ended up playing around with them.

"We're defenseless!"

"How do we protect ourselves!?"

"Toothless?" Hiccup asks his friend.

Toothless let out a roar and ended up silencing the entire room in just a few seconds. All of them then looked over to Hiccup as he couldn't believe after all this time, they were now looking to him for answers.

"Look, I know... we don't have the best history here right now. Or ever." Hiccup couldn't believe what he was about to offer to the people. "And the Outcasts won't be the last to attack. Berk is defenseless. They made sure of that. As of right now, I know that most of you don't see me as capable of leading you all. And I don't blame you. But not only on our end, but you have all done some inexcusable things. Banished my father. Tried to kill me and my sister, and also our dragons!" None of them were more amazed than Gobber to see Hiccup has grown over his time away. "But...Berk is still my responsibility. I may not wish to lead it, but I never truly wanted it." Then he looked over to Elsa and Heather, them having discussed this over during the edge, and they nodded to assure him they were okay with this. "But I wish to protect it. And to do that, you need to adapt. You need to evolve." He then looked over to Astrid. "We have shown you that with just four dragons, you can defend yourselves and your people. All you need is dragons. We can help you. All of you. We will bring a few of your people with us to our home, and we will train them to bond, ride, and defend themselves using dragons. Then when they're ready, we send them back and then send them back here to teach others. It won't be easy, and I don't know how long it will take. But... it's your only chance."

A lot of the Vikings didn't seem to be on board with this idea. But a few of them then turned to the one person who has already been part of their little experiment. Astrid quickly became the new center of attention as they all looked toward her for answers.

"They're right. We banished them under hatred, as well as under protest from Mildew. Who turned out to be their spy." Astrid commented as she looked to the teens and over to Hiccup. "We can do this."

"We?" Snotlout asks.

"We can?" Fishlegs wonders.

"It's for the safety of Berk," Astrid stated as she looked at the people. "We have a lot to gain if we do this, and we have a lot to lose if we don't."

They all then went back to considering their options with their plan. Berk was defenseless without Stoick and the archipelago could learn that they're defenseless right now and need a new way to defend themselves.

Then their decision seemed to be made when Tuffnut quickly jumped onto his feet and raised his fists into the air. "I'm with them! WHO ELSE?!"

(A/N) Admit it. You all wanted to see Mildew go out like that.
