My Hero Academia - Under Pressure - Season 2 - Episode 5 - The Sweet Sixteen
Time seemed to slow down.
Tonen Keitomo and Eri Ogata watched as various explosive devices from Hagiken Tokuhei were dropped all around them in a calculated effort to get them out of the tag team elimination round.
As he looked around in a daze, Tonen knew he had to do something, and only one thing came to mind, "You trust me, right?"
"Of course," Eri replied without looking at him.
"Good, then don't make this awkward afterward."
Without letting her reply, Tonen lunged out and wrapped Eri in a very tight hug. One where his arms were wrapped around her back as well as her head. He exhaled just as some of the bombs went off, and two very different pressure waves met. But to the surprise of all nearby, the flames and fury were pushed away from the intended targets and sent in all directions.
The devices that hadn't exploded yet were also thrown away from the duo, and exploded near other sets of students still in the fight.
Smoke filled the air and no one moved until another burst of air sent it away, and both Tonen and Eri were revealed to be ok.
Up in the announcing booth, Projection couldn't believe what she just saw, "Wow! That was insane...ly...awesome! Chuya Taki and Hagiken Tokuhei thought they had the drop on Tonen Keitomo and Eri Ogata, but Tonen's Quirk saved them in the nick of time!"
Knowing that they were safe for the moment, Tonen let go of the embrace of Eri, who was a bit shellshocked by the move.
"You ok?" he asked.
"Yeah...I'm...I'm fine. Just...wasn't expecting that," Eri replied, slightly embarrassed.
"Hey, what did I tell you? Don't make it awkward afterward. I was saving us, nothing more. Remember, we're not that close."
He stuck his tongue out in a teasing way and she smiled and shook her head, "Indeed. Now, let's see what we can do to end this, we're not going to last if others keep coming after us like that."
Realizing the truth of that statement, he looked around, saw the aftermath of his defensive ploy. Many nearby students had been knocked to the ground after the various blasts and flames. A few though had been knocked out.
"Oh, look at that!" called out Projection as she observed the battlefield. "The last second gambit eliminated two teams! That means 11 are out, and thus there are only 21 teams left in the fight! Do recall, dear audience, that only the 8 duos left standing will make it to the final round! Who will be eliminated next!?"
That statement jarred him to another truth, Chuya had gunned for him and Eri. He looked up and around, but saw they were gone. No doubt wanting to escape before Tonen could retaliate. He grimaced and kicked a nearby rock.
Eri put a hand on his shoulder, "None of that, partner. We'll get them later. Let's focus on now, we need to eliminate some more teams."
Tonen took a deep breath and nodded, "Right, thanks. Let's go."
With that they sprinted off into the fray and aimed for the students that hadn't gotten fully back on their feet from the explosive attack yet.
On one corner of the battlefield, a very peculiar metal rock stuck out from the pack. Suddenly though it shifted its former and became sand that fell upon what was inside, Kuroda and Ebirima.
"Well, that was close," noted Kuroda as she brushed the sand off of her. "Nice job with that bubble gum dome, Ebirima."
"Just glad I had been practicing it, Kuroda!" Ebirima said in relief. "You turning into metal to protect us from the blast? Pretty cool."
"Just quick thinking. Did Tonen and Eri...?"
She looked for her friends and when she saw them fighting another duo she sighed. Ebirima joined her in that, "Tonen must have shielded them well enough to save them!"
"That's our boy. And I'll add that sneak attack to the reasons I'll beat Chuya senseless when possible. But let's get our own victories, shall we?"
"Lead on!"
They rushed into the fray and were able to track down a mixed-class duo who were still recovering from the blast as well. They recovered in time to see the two rushing towards them and they tried to flee.
To stop them, Ebirima fired a web of bubble gum at the ground just ahead of them. Sure enough, the two tripped and fell face first into the web. Ebirima fired another web right on top of them and they struggled for a bit until a horn sounded.
"Due to incapacitation, another duo is out!" proclaimed Projection. "As a fellow teacher of mine is no doubt dying to say...they couldn't get of that...sticky situation. Props to Ebirima Koge for that unique elimination."
"Happy to help!" Ebirima said with a wave to the booth.
Kuroda spun her around and gave her a signal to focus, "We're not done yet, head in the game!"
"Right, sorry."
"No worries, we just haveto...look out!"
Seeing something approaching, Kuroda shoved her partner back just as a burst of shadow raced by them. They watched it go by and then turned to its maker, a student from Class 1-A, who was with another of his classmates who had oddly glowing constructs floating around him.
"Well they'll be trouble."
"Ideas?" asked Ebirima
"Make a strand of gum and stretch it taught."
She did so and Ebirima touched it and shifted it into a staff of diamond. Once made, she twirled it around with grace before pointing it at her foes, "You boys coming?"
The two charged, and the ladies did the same. Kuroda went and dueled with the construct user, who sent various shapes and items at her. Kuroda dodged or parried them with her staff and tried to nail the student with her weapon, but he brought up another construct to literally shield him.
Ebirima meanwhile was doing all she could to dodge the weaponized shadows of the 1-A student. He sent it out in small bursts, but it all emanated from him.
"You can't dodge my darkness forever," mocked the 1-A student.
"Trust me when I say I've faced a worse shadow than you!" bit back Ebirima unfazed. "I got blindsided by darkness once, not again!"
With a roar she sent out another bubble gum web. The 1-A student used several tendrils of shadow to hold onto it and then fling it to the ground, away from her. The shadows didn't stick, much to her surprise.
"Ok, we'll try something else...Kuroda! Mind switching?"
"Not at all!" Kuroda answered as she struggled with her own foe.
Switching her staffs composition to something more flexible, she bounded into the air and into the line of sight of the shadowy foe. To his surprise though, she landed right in front of him.
"Are you trying to lose?" he asked with a smirk.
"No, just needed to be close enough to do this!"
With a smirk, she slammed her hands on the shadows that were growing at his feet, and when she did, she shifted their composition into ice, literally freezing his power in place. He was quite literally stunned by this, "What...what have you done?"
"Left you open to attack, bye!"
She shifted her staff into metal and wacked him outside the head, knocking him out cold. His partner was battling Ebirima, but when he saw this, he called out, "No!"
"Yes!" responded Ebirima as she started to layer him with webs of gum, "And now it's your turn to go down!"
Ebirima wrapped him up so tightly with her gum that he couldn't call forth his constructs, eliminating him from the fight as a buzzer sounded for their victory.
Kuroda patted her on the back as she saw the bodies being dragged away, "Nice job! And great call on the switch."
"I knew you could handle him better than me."
"Ditto for you and my guy. Now come on, we still need to eliminate 11 more teams before this is over! Can't rest yet!"
"Right."
No sooner had they acknowledge this than another fight came to them and they started all over.
With almost half the teams eliminated and removed from the fight, things were getting less crowded in the arena. However, that also meant that there were more opportunities to use their full power without fear of being restrained outside their collars. What's more, there were very few "lame duck" teams left. Though there were some "odd couple" duos where one had to go and do most of the work.
Unfortunately for Fenella, she was the workhorse in her pairing.
She and her runes were working overtime not just fending off attacks, but keeping her partner safe from said attacks. Her partner was a somewhat tall boy who had nearly transparent black skin. He was almost clinging to Fenella at times as he tried to stay out of foes line of sight.
After dispatching a duo, the grimace on Fenella's face grew, "I don't mind doing work, but did I REALLY have to get stuck with a lad whose powers only work at night!?"
"Statistically speaking, most crime happens at night so my powers are useful in those hours-"
"Never tell me the odds!"
A couple teams sensed that Fenella's duo were weaker and converged on her. She didn't give up though and continued to use her sigils in various ways in both offense and defense.
At one point she got swarmed so she let loose every single mark she had from her arms so that she could fight them all. Her partner was even shielded from attacks by them.
But not far away, a very familiar snicker was heard, as well as a command, "Do it now."
Fenella fought off her attacks with a roar of pride, "Is that all you beasts got for me? I can do this all...all..."
A clinking noise caught her eyes and both she and her partner looked down and saw a metal device bouncing towards them.
"O' blast it'all..."
The device exploded and released a massive burst of light at both of them. Fenella tried to withstand it, but her partner was screaming in agony over the attack.
As the flash bang died down, Fenella saw her partner on the ground unconscious. Her ears were ringing, but she tried to steady herself to keep going. But before she could try, an energy ball hit her square in the chest, taking her out.
"It may have taken an army, but we have another elimination!" announced Projection. "That means we're now to 18 teams, meaning only 10 more teams left to eliminate! Let's see how the students react to this. Will they go on the attack, will they play defense, will they do both? It's up to them to impress us and see how they'll use their Quirks to fight and survive!"
Whether it was intended to energize them or not, the remaining 18 duos went to work. Each of them trying to do their own strategy to survive.
Goya and his mysterious goth partner remained in the corner of the field. Goya had a few people try and take him on, but he was able to ward them off and ensure that he wasn't exposed, nor his partner whose Quirk was ineffective due to the tight constraints of the fight.
Some, like the now quartet of Ueno, Onai, Izuro, and the boy with the energy ball attack continued to work together in order to focus on survival unless an opportunity arose like with Fenella. Because with their four very powerful Quirks, they could likely withstand almost anything.
Most teams tried to get the weaker ones out to better improve their odds, and left the stronger teams alone. Like with Goya, or with the duo of Anno and Oshibu.
Another duo that was working the intimidation factor was the team of Sanda and Hana. In the early flurry of the match they used their Quirk to play defense. Sanda encased himself in a spiked sphere of Earth to ward off attackers, and Hana used her terrain abilities to merge with the ground where she couldn't be attacked very easily.
However, after a while they went more on the offensive, including Sanda doing an earthquake mid-match that sent everyone for a loop.
Now though, they were working pretty well in sync in order to get eliminations. Sanda would send out small tremors to destabilize foes, and then Hana would lunge out of the ground to take them out. Sanda would also bring up chunks of earth to attack when necessary.
Their patterns were so good that after only a minute since Projection's announcement about 10 teams needing to be eliminated, they eliminated two duos themselves. Meaning half the field was eliminated, and now only half of that remaining bit would advance.
Any chance of true class loyalties were fading, as many in Class 1-A, 1-B, Support and General Studies weren't paired together, and the ones that were had to focus on their own survival at times due to the flurry of attacks most of the time.
This meant that many of their friends had to be eliminated if they were to survive, though many tried to not be a part of those eliminations. Ebirima was saddened by the elimination of Fenella, but she knew that her friend wouldn't want her to stop until she advanced so she pressed on.
Tonen and Eri continued to fight as the numbers of the duos dwindled. But he could see some of his fellow Class 1-B students get eliminated. Including Doza and Ikaim in separate duos. With 15 duos soon left, Tonen saw Kanagita in action against a pack of the remaining duos. Her partner was already KO'd, but Kanagita didn't care.
"You can't break this brick!" her brick form roared.
The quartet were her foes for the most part and did her best to bring her down, even Ueno reluctantly helped by diverting her momentum away from his "teammates".
But Kanagita's brick form was too much to bear and she kept going even when others trying to beat her.
From his corner, Goya saw Kanagita raging about and a look of fury came upon him, "You need to go..."
He stuck out his hand and he held her in place. Like in the first team fight for Class 1-B, she resisted at first, but Goya poured it on and held her in place.
Seeing their opening, Onaki and Izuro held hands once again and fired a blast at Kanagita's brick form. This time though, it wasn't a short-circuit wave. It was a blast of pure energy, one that slammed into her so hard it caused the brick form to roar like it never had before.
The blast went on for a while until eventually, they stopped, and Kanagita's brick form fell to its knees and as it collapsed to the ground it reverted back to Kanagita.
Many of the students were stunned at this, as was the audience, as this was a true display of raw power.
Projection was among the stunned, "Ladies and gentlemen, I knew those two could do combo attacks...but Onaki Imazume and Izuro Honokuri just fired a laser so powerful it literally toppled one of the strongest students in all of UA high! Now that's impressive."
Onaki and Izuro celebrated their victory with their 1-A teammate while Ueno again lamented the loss of a 1-B student.
14 teams remained and things were getting more frantic as the teams started to get really desperate for eliminations. But through this came surprises in how certain duos worked together.
Azujima for example had managed to survive this long with his somewhat powerful partner from Class 1-A by using his senses to their advantage. He would focus on everything around them as best he could and let his partner take on those who got too close while also dodging any and all incoming attacks.
Iha meanwhile worked with her Support partner to survive via evasion and hesitation. Mainly in that her dampening field would cause others to freak out just long enough to knock them down and escape, or make them flee as they felt something was wrong.
Others like Tonen and Eri were doing their best to conserve power for the final push and to not get blindsided. Which was a bit difficult to do when Onaki and Izuro decided to cut loose with their laser attack once again, and this time just do a sweeping motion to try and get everyone they could in their blast.
Tonen barely saw it in time and tackled Eri to the ground just as it was about to hit them, "Watch out!"
The laser passed overhead and Eri didn't take it well, "Are they trying to eliminate us, or kill us?"
"Usually I would say both, but I have a feeling it's a non-lethal laser for whatever that's worth."
"Small comfort, Tonen! We need to stop them before that thing gets us!"
"Ok, I can do that, stay low though."
He got up and whistled at the combo girls. They turned to him and were curious at what he was up to.
"Hey! Who fires a freaking laser indoors? I thought you two were supposed to be smart! You can't be heroes if you kill us! Oh, and very fair, it took how many of you to get Kanagita to bow out? Real heroic you dumb brats!"
That last line triggered them and they didn't hesitate to go and fire their laser once again. But this time, Tonen was ready. Just as they fired he lunged forward onto the ground, and exhaled with a motion of his hands and send a curved burst of air right at the girls legs,
The burst hit them and they were shot slightly up into the air. The only reason they didn't hit solid ground was because Ueno was able to catch them individually and right them just enough so they wouldn't get hurt.
"Is my Quirk useful now?" he joshed at them.
Tonen tried to seize the opportunity by readying a big attack, but just before he could launch it, the energy ball wielder fired at him in quick succession to put him off his game. Another attack from another duo added to this and he was back to playing defense. But he got the laser attack to stop so at least that part of his plan worked.
As he did this round of defense, two more teams were eliminated, leaving it down to 12. The tension was mounting for both the students and the audience members, as they were amazed at the displays being put on by the students of all the classes.
"This getting down to the wire!" called out Projection. "Many of the teams you see will be in the finals, but which ones will outlast the rest?"
The team of Anno and Oshibu helped partially answer that question as they used a special combination to take down a duo from Class 1-A while ensuring that they didn't get caught in retaliatory attacks.
Seeing an opportunity to advance together, Kuroda signaled Hana, and with her permission they worked together with Sanda and Ebirima to go and eliminate a rather tough defensive duo that had made it nearly to the end.
As Goya looked up at the board and saw there were 10 teams remaining, he smirked and knew it was time for a final stroke, "But who to do it on...?"
Not surprisingly, he looked immediately for Tonen, who was still scrapping with three of the four members of the quartet. He prepared to strike but something got him laughing.
"No...that wouldn't be fun...he deserves to suffer more. Oh...that will do."
His eyes shifted, and not too far away were the duos that had Iha and Azujima in them. He turned to his partner and said, "Stay there, this will be over soon."
His partner grunted but didn't respond, he merely turned to see what Goya would do.
Goya stepped forward a bit and extended his arms once again. Almost immediately, Iha, Azujima and both of their partners were raised into the air.
"What the...?" wondered Azujima as he didn't know what was going on at first.
"Oh no..." muttered Iha as she could see who was controlling them.
The four went higher and higher into the air, getting the attention of all the remaining duos. Including Tonen, who watched in horror as his friends floated up. His gaze only broken when someone called out to him.
"Hey Tonen!" shouted Goya from across the arena. "Aren't they with you? Don't worry, I'll put them down!"
Before Tonen could do anything, Goya threw down his arms and the four slammed into the ground hard. Tonen and Eri raced over to them, but as they arrived and the dust cleared, their friends, and their partners, were both knocked out. A very loud buzzer sounded, one that signaled it was all over.
"Folks, I've seen some wacky and wild endings in my time, but that was the pinnacle of brutality," remarked Projection, not sure what she just witnessed. "But regardless of how...evil...that might have been...Goya Ramasu just knocked out the final pairings, which means we're now down to 8 duos. This round is over, and the final 16 have been chosen!"
Able to force some happiness into her voice, Projection got the crowd cheering again. But Tonen was not cheering at all, he was livid. His body shook violent as the unconscious bodies of his friend were taken away, and he prepared to strike at Goya, who was laughing at his plight. But many of the remaining Class 1-B students grabbed onto him to prevent him from doing so.
"No, Tonen, don't!" said Kuroda, getting in his line of sight. "If you do that they'll throw you out, and then he wins again. Do you want that?"
Tonen bared his teeth at her, but was able to get his cool back, "No."
"I feel your pain man," Anno noted, now in his regular shark form, "I wanted Oshibu to race over and catch them before they fell, but with our restrictions..."
"It's no one's fault but Goya's."
Oshibu's usual cocky demeanor was gone as he looked at the state of Tonen, "Look, I know I like to show off, but that was just mean."
"It was cruel," corrected Ebirima.
"He'll get his, Tonen," consoled Eri with a kind look. "More than likely one of us will face him in the final round, we'll make sure he gets what's coming to him."
"Exactly!" piped in Sanda. "I could bury him alive or Eri can pressure point him into submission or Anno could eat him or Ebirima can stick him or-"
"Sanda!" shouted the class. But this time, Sanda just smiled and stuck out his tongue to show he did this on purpose this time. Which got most of them to laugh, including Tonen.
"Thanks guys. I appreciate it," he said with a smile.
Ueno lazily walked up to his teammates and asked, "So what now?'
As if to answer his question, Projection tapped the microphone and spoke, "With the final sixteen combatants set, we're going to take a small break so that they can rest and the students knocked out during this round can heal a bit. Stay tuned though as we're going to have a special set of recreational games for the students who didn't advance, so stick around! Hint: this is a good time for bathroom breaks and concessions! Mainly concessions...because I'm really hungry."
The crowd happily listened to Projection's suggestion and got up to do their own business. The remaining sixteen hovered around for a bit, talking to those they were close to, if there were any left.
Kuroda snapped her fingers to get the attention of her 1-B crew, "I say we go and head to the nurses area. Check on our friends, and get healed up ourselves if we need it. We're going to need all the energy we can get for what comes next."
Tonen looked to the others to see if they were good with that, when they were all in approval he motioned to the exit, "Lead the way, K-Rep."
"My pleasure, let's move out 1-B!"
As a unit, they headed to the nurses area. Not surprisingly, it was filled with many of the 48 students who hadn't advanced. They were in sectioned off areas divided by curtains. Life Force and her team were running around quite a bit before seeing the 1-B group enter.
"Hey everyone!" Life Force said quickly before heading to another student who needed help. "Just wait around there and I'll get to you if you need anything."
"We will," said Kuroda taking point, then she looked around at the students and asked, "Where are the rest of 1-B? We wanted to check on them."
"How kind! I lumped the classes together for moral support. 1-B is on that side of those curtains."
She pointed to one side of the room and the group moved towards that area. As they pulled back the curtains they were a little surprised to see the nine fallen members of their classroom all upright and talking to one another.
Fenella was the first to see the group, "Look everyone! All hail the conquering heroes!"
The rest of the class joined in some mock fanfare until Kuroda waved them down, "Stop it! We're not conquerors, we're more like survivors given how crazy things got out there near the end."
"You're telling me..." said Kanagita softly, rubbing her arms subconsciously.
Kuroda went over to her friend and leaned down a bit to look at her square in the eye, "How you doing, Kanagita?"
"Sore. Life Force says I'll be fine but...that laser hurt, I could feel it through my brick form."
"Yeah, I'm a bit mad they advanced. Even separately, they're a problem."
"We tried to get them multiple times," noted Eri. "Their classmate kept us a distance. And then..."
She gave a look at Ueno, who stopped his spinning to gaze at her intently, "Hey, don't put that on me. Kuroda said everyone for themselves. Besides, I told them off when they mocked the twins. I threatened to put them in a wall."
"That would've been awesome!" chime in some unified voices.
They all turned to see the Twins nearly bouncing on the bed that they were on. Ryu gave a motion of non-caring to Ueno, "It's fine, Ueno, you did nothing wrong. If you guys get the chance to beat them in the next round though, do it for us!"
"We promise," Tonen said with a smile.
"You're the best, TK!" the Twins replied in unison.
"Clearly I'm not good enough, especially since YOU TWO are always a team! How does that keep happening given all that we've been through?"
"It is odd," Ebirima said as she sat by Fenella, "you'd think that the randomness of it wouldn't put them together more times than not."
Ikaim did some quick math in his head, "18 of us and 2 of them, combine all the possibilities and you get...a lot."
"Very methodical, Ikaim," teased Doza with a punch to the shoulder.
"Clearly the odds, and fates, are in their favor!" Wasuke said loudly.
The Twins started to laugh, doing their best to contain it, but failing.
"What's so funny?" asked Anno, not seeing the joke.
"Let us ask you this..." started Ryu.
"Who makes the selections for those events?" finished Ryo with a sly look.
"The faculty?" Sanda posed.
"Try again," answered the Twins.
"It's a random picking by the computers, remember?" revealed Hana.
To this Ryo just raised her hand up and waved at the class, a big smile plastered on her face.
It took a few seconds for them to get the intent, but eventually it hit home and they reacted as one, "YOU RIGGED IT?!"
"Yep," Ryo replied with a shrug. "To be fair, I was never told I couldn't...and the rest of the pairings are random, so I never got caught."
"And The Twins remain together," bragged Ryu.
"How did I not see that trick?" asked Kuroda, amazed this got over on her.
"Well..." started Kanagita softly, "no one else saw it either, not even the teachers, not even Big Brain!"
Tonen chuckled as he recalled that, "Oh yeah, he had his own personal computer do it at the USJ and the Twins got paired right in front of him and he didn't question it. Fun."
"Glad someone is having fun..." came a voice.
They turned and saw Azujima waving weakly at them, Iha in the bed next to him. Tonen raced to them, concern ripe on his face, "Azu! Up Down! I'm sorry, I meant to check on you two first, are you ok?"
"We'll live," deadpanned Iha.
"We're fine, TK," expressed Azujima with more confidence and certainty, "I will say that Goya definitely...caught us off guard with that last attack. I'm sorry we were the last two duos eliminated."
"No! Do not apologize!" exclaimed Tonen with rare force in his voice. "You guys made it all the way to the end, quite literally. Goya did a move to get payback at me, I'm the one who should be apologizing."
"That makes it our turn to say 'don't apologize', TK. You couldn't have known he would do that, he was playing defense most of the round! He made his move because he knew he could get away with it. Even if you were close, you might have been the one knocked out instead of us."
"Fair enough, Azu. Up Down?"
Iha looked at him, anger very clear in her eyes, "Put him down."
Tonen smirked and nodded, "My pleasure."
"On that note," interjected Anno. "Do we know yet what the final round will be?"
"Whenever my brother did his festivals, the final round was always a kind of one-on-one competition to showcase the students Quirk and mental capacities in a certain situation," answered Ebirima. "Sometimes it was a battle scenario, sometimes it was something like what we did at the USJ. Just depends on the year and what the faculty want to do."
"Well this shark wants to rend some flesh...metaphorically speaking, of course."
"Yeah, sure sharky," teased Fenella.
Eri thought about the potential situations intensely, "In terms of the overall goal, a fighting competition would allow us to showcase our skills more to potential mentors in the Pro-Hero world. Provided we're matched against the right person, of course."
Kuroda snapped her fingers to get all of their attention, "Let's not dwell on this, it does us no good. We're likely to find out more in the next hour so let's just relax, let Life Force and her nurses heal us, and we'll go from there."
"K-Rep," spoke up Tonen, a curious expression on his face, "Eleven of the sixteen are from 1-B. You know what means."
"I do. Many of us will face one another, some might even face multiple members of this class. So as your rep, I say this. If we are in a matchup against one another, you can choose to help one or the other in terms of suggestions, guidance, or what have you without fear of repercussion. You're just helping a friend. That being said, when the matches are on, you root for everyone in Class 1-B, even if they're not your pick, understand?"
"What about the outcasts?" asked the Twins.
Kuroda gave a rather sinister laugh, "Feel free to boo them out of existence. But we support this group. I know you nine here who didn't make it are sad. But take heart. You all made it to round two, and you all showed great heart and faced overwhelming odds at times before getting eliminated. I feel confident that all of us in this group will get calls from Pro-Heroes in terms of internships. I mean that. But for now, support the nine here who are advancing. Your cheering might just give us what we need to go Plus Ultra in a pinch. And while I'm all for equality amongst the classes...I REALLY want Class 1-B to stand on top now. So whether on the battlegrounds or in the stands, help us with that, ok?"
She turned and gave each of them a look, and one by one they gave her a nod of approval to show they were down with supporting the core group.
Just before she made to speak again, Life Force entered, "Oh! Looks I just missed out on a speech, darn, I like hearing those. Alright you lot who advanced, stand by a bed and let me heal you up. You'll need it for the last round, trust me."
She went to them and healed them up, and once she was gone the class went and resumed just talking with one another and reliving some of the events of the festival so far. Doing their best to not think about what was to come for them, and who they might have to face in it.
