6 MONTHS LATER...

Six months since the arrival of Dr. Fate into their labs, six months since some warning about their fates. And nothing has happened, or at least something that they couldn't handle. Everyone was just going about their everyday lives like nothing had changed. Well, nothing since the Singularity at least.

The Daily Bugle was destroyed and was working on the last bit of repairs so that it could finally reopen its doors. But that meant that Peter needed to get some employment somewhere else for the time being.

Wrestling with about a dozen different jobs to try and get it to work out, but Spider-Man would always end up getting caught in the middle of something. No matter how hard he would try and work it out, Spider-Man would make it incredibly difficult to keep the job.

And that's where we find Peter as of now. He was on his bike trying to make it to his most recent job, which is as a pizza delivery boy. As he rode his bike down the streets, he couldn't help but admire the work that he and his friends had put into rebuilding Central City. He, Bobby, and Barry had been hard at work trying to fix the city that they technically caused it to happen. And he saw a flyer on the walls saying that the Flash and Spider-Man Day celebration that's going on tomorrow. The city was hoping that the city's heroes could make an appearance, which is something that some of them are considering.

Bobby has also been keeping in touch with Caitlin as she was still out of the city and helping Logan gain some of his memories back. He was given at least a few dozen memories over the six months course, but he still had a long way to go.

"Parker!" Someone said, breaking Peter's mind out of his trance. "Parker!"

Peter skidded to a stop as he stopped right in front of his job in Joe's Pizza. He almost tripped and was able to catch himself at the last second as he stopped in front of his boss.

"Parker, you're late, man. Always late." Aziz complained to Peter.

Peter tried to stand up with his bike as he stumbled around. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Aziz, there was a..." he reached into his jacket pocket and shoved the mask of his suit inside. "...disturbance."

"A disturbance. There is always a disturbance with you, Parker." Aziz informed Peter.

'Hey, you try and juggle an hourly job and life as a superhero.' Peter thought to himself.

"Come on," Aziz gestured for Peter to follow him inside the pizza parlor. "21 minutes ago, incoming order. Baxton and Rami, eight extra large deep-dish pizzas. In eight minutes, I am defaulting on Joe's 29-minute guarantee. Then, not only am I receiving no money for these pizzas, but I will lose the customers forever." He then brought Peter over to the order where he saw the eight large. "Look, you're my only hope, all right? You have to get there in time. You're a nice guy, but you're not dependable. You have to go 42 blocks in seven and a half minutes, or you're fired."

Peter knew this was just from what he knew and knew that he was being honest about it. He wasn't exactly dependable since he had to constantly stop work and race off to save the day as Spider-Man.

"Go!"

Peter then warned no time as he started to try and bike down the street with eight pizzas and make it in less than eight minutes. But as it became more hepatic to do so, he needed to come up with a faster way of traveling that could help him get there faster. There was no way he was going to make it in time.

But then he looked down an alleyway nearby and had an interesting idea. He quickly raced into the alley carrying the pizzas and ditched the helmet. Luckily not a lot of people saw his face, but a few pedestrians noticed the giant container of pizzas. It wasn't exactly hard to miss, a small teen running around with that many pizzas.

And that's when he came out of the alley again, this time completely dressed in his Spider-Man suit, still, a bit torn from his fight with Morlun and the BRANCHES, but nothing he couldn't live with.

"Whoa!" One of the pedestrians noticed the Spider-Man carrying all the pizzas. "He stole that guy's pizzas!"

What, didn't think Spider-Man couldn't have just paid for them?

Peter however didn't have the time to stop and correct the guy as he needed to hurry and race down the street to keep his job. Except as it was always, on his way there, he noticed a few kids running into the street where they were going to get hit. Acting quickly, Peter went into a dive and fell down before he tossed the pizzas and stopped the kids from getting run over.

"Hey, kids, no playing in the streets, hear me?" Peter asks the kids.

"Yes, Mr. Spider-Man." The two of them respond.

Peter chuckled as he ruffed up the kid's hair before running away. He needed to hurry and still get to his location or it was going to be his head.

By the time he finally arrived there, he needed to quickly change so that he wouldn't arrive as Spider-Man. That's something his secret identity would never recover from. And that in turn caused him to be late.

That's another job down the drain.

Luckily his brother was having better luck at the job thing than his brother since Barry is currently checking on a murder at a plant. He looked over the body and found a few odd things out of place about this man and wondered what happened to him.

"How's it going?" Joe asks as he approaches Barry.

"Good," Barry replies with a sigh.

"So, the victim. His name is Aleksei Sytsevich." Joe informs Barry as he looks over the report. "He's a welder here at the nuclear plant. A coworker found him dead this morning. So, what did you get?"

"There are petechiae on his face and the whites of his eyes, and this brushing around his neck..." Barry saw Joe was quickly catching onto what he was saying.

"So, he was strangled." Joe clarified.

"By someone very strong and large," Barry confirmed.

"Or something?" Joe questions, remembering Grodd is still out there somewhere.

"This wasn't Grodd." Barry quickly reassures Joe.

"Oh, thank god." Joe sighed in reply.

"I'll let you know when I find more," Barry says as he starts packing everything up.

"So this Flash/Spider-Man Day thing. You planning on making an appearance?" Joe asks him. "I heard Peter is thinking of making it."

Barry shrugged as he wasn't much in the mood in the event without Caitlin. It was mostly her that day that helped save the day and without the entire team, it didn't feel like a real celebration.

"I haven't decided yet," Barry admitted with a shrug. "But I know Bobby plans to go."

"Yeah, kinda wonder why they didn't name it Flash, Spider-Man, and Iceman," Joe admitted with a confused look.

"Well, to be fair, then they'd need Bombshell and White Tiger as well. And they're already back in New York." Barry reminded him there were more heroes. "I just think Peter's been their first hero, so he gets more spotlight. Bobby's more of a secretive hero."

"Okay, fair enough but, I heard the mayor is trying to give you guys the key to the city," Joe informed him.

"I don't need an award," Barry replies to him.

"You love getting awards. Like all those science trophies you got in high school?" Joe reminds him of the restless nights he spent perfecting projects.

"Those I deserved. I'll let you know what I find." Barry says and walks off. "And I've gotta go. Meeting with Peter and the guys later."

"Alright." Joe decides to let it go and looked down at Aleksei Sytsevich.

"Flash/Spider-Man Day is almost here. And a speck downtown rally is in preparation to honor the heroes who saved Central City. It's been six months since Flash and Spider-Man saved the city from the freak black hole that erupted in the sky."

Peter watched the news from inside the new Daily Bugle, which has a lot more windows than its original predecessor. And even the papers Rhys they were printing were a lot more uplifting than the original.

Spider-Man saves Central City

That was one of the most recent papers that they had printed which is what surprised Peter. When he first saved Jameson, he thought that he would turn it against him somehow, but he didn't. He actually went into the truth and gave Peter support going forward.

"Parker, great, you're finally here," Jameson said with a smile.

Peter was confused when he heard that and looked around. "I've been here."

"Doesn't matter. I want you to cover that celebration tomorrow." Jameson gave him the assignment.

"Me? Really?" Peter was a bit surprised.

"Yes, the city is finally celebrating the city this hero deserves," Jameson stated as he crossed his legs. "You got a problem with that?"

"No, I'm...yeah, I can do it." Peter supposed as he wonders something. "Is there a chance that I can get paid in advance?"

Jameson then let out a gigantic laugh and just kept going. Peter should have seen that coming and just decided to let it go. Then the intercom went off and it was Betty Brant in the other room.

"Sir, your wife is on the line, she said she lost her checkbook," Betty informed Jameson.

"Thanks for the good news!" Jameson said with pride as he closed the connection. He then looked over to Peter and wonders why he's there. "What, you waiting for a cookie? Get out of here."

Peter decided to just do that and walked out of the room. He also needed to hurry since he was supposed to meet up with Barry, Bobby, and MJ so that they could hang out. They would have loved to invite Crystal so that they could have had a full roster, but she was nowhere to be seen, and Harry was still in Paris the last they had heard.

The group met up at a bowling area where Barry was putting in all of their names. Cisco was picking out refreshments and snacks for the group. MJ was grabbing a pair of bowling shoes. Bobby was just making his way out of the bathroom and strolled over to them. Peter was making his way around and picking up the bowling balls for them all. Picking a ball for him was touch as once it took a while to pick his own, but then now it turned a bit more difficult due to the fact his enhanced strength made it harder.

After they were all set up, it was time to have some fun. They have gone around and done so much for the city, they just needed to have a bit of a chance to unwind from the troubles.

MJ was the next up to bowl and picked up her ball and started to make her way down the lane. Taking a big swing, she threw the ball down the lane and watched it go. She stood there anxious as she watched the ball roll down the lane. When the ball hits the pins, it ended up knocking them all and taking them down.

"Whoo!" MJ cheered as she spun with her hands raised in victory.

"How?" Cisco asks Peter in shock as she walked over to the others. "How did you find someone who's smart, funny, cute, and can bowl?"

"Let's just say...I hit the jackpot." Peter couldn't come up with a better response.

"Oh, I couldn't have put it better myself, Tiger," MJ said as she sat down and pecked his cheek.

"Peter, in name of all nerds everywhere, never let her go," Cisco begged of him.

"I'll be sure not to annoy her enough," Peter promises.

"So, this whole celebration thing, you guys going?" Bobby asks the team.

"Uh, yeah, I was thinking of going," Peter admitted and looked at Barry. "You?"

"I don't know. It feels a little bit off since it wasn't technically us who saved the city." Barry replied with sorrow, thinking of Ronnie.

"Yeah, but the people still think we had a part in it." Peter reminded him.

But then their phones went off and they saw there was a fire downtown they needed to help with. It was in a chemical plant which meant a lot of things were going to be destroyed.

"Looks like we gotta go," Barry said as he got up.

"You guys can keep playing. We'll be back." Peter told their friends and saw it wasn't anything too much.

When they made it to the sight, it seemed to be an OsCorp building that was currently blowing up from every side. Peter was the one who leaped in and caught the falling rubble before it could crush the innocent bystanders.

"Flash, you got the fire?" Peter asks as he tapped the comm.

"I've got it," Barry promised.

Then he watched as a streak of lightning came past and he watched the scientists inside were being taken out of the burning building. Barry stopped right next to Peter and they looked around to make sure they got everyone. Several fire trucks showed up and started to help take the last of the flames down.

"Is that everyone?" Barry asks.

Peter used his new lenses to scan for heat signatures, seeing nobody inside. "Nope, seems we're in the clear."

But then they both felt the ground shake and the two were trying to find their footing. When they looked back over to the building, they noticed something gigantic coming through the fog and towards them. What they saw was an extremely tall and incredibly muscular person, who towered over both of them. Much of his body is covered in a gray armor suit designed after a rhino, which includes two metallic horns on his helmet that light blue optic lenses.

Both of them were spending so much time trying to take in what they were seeing, they didn't even flinch when the man came charging and sent them flying. The two were knocked backward and into the trees nearby, and by the time they got back up, they noticed there was no sign of that freak.

"Did...was that a rhino?" Peter asks Barry.

Barry groaned as he felt he twisted his leg. "Okay, something's broken."

They returned to STAR Labs where they had to put Barry up and wait for his bones to heal with help of May. While they were waiting for that, Peter was showing the rest of the team what they saw out there. They watched as the two of them were flung, but it seems whatever attacked them was covered in a cloud of smoke.

"I don't see anything," Bobby commented as he looked at his friend. "Did you just get attacked by smoke? Because I wouldn't be surprised."

"At this point, I would believe it," MJ admitted.

"For something to have that mass of force to shove you both, it's...extraordinary," Stein said in shock.

"Yeah. And it was painful." Peter stated as he rubbed his shoulder. "And I've gone up against Spider killers, so when I say painful, I mean it."

"Well, whatever it was, it seems to be radiating some sort of radiation. Not too different than the one that Peter gives off."

Peter suddenly flinched as this was the first he had heard of this statement. "Wait, I give off radiation?"

In light of this news, Bobby and MJ quickly moved out of the vicinity of Peter.

"Not to worry, it's slight radiation. Perfectly harmless." Cisco assured them.

"Oh." MJ quickly moved closer to him. She looked and noticed Peter's look of confusion. "Hi."

"We've gotta start looking for this guy," Barry said as he walked into the room, holding onto anything he could. "Anything?"

"Nope, it seems that there's nothing," Cisco said as he looked for the scans. "Seems we need to wait for his next move."

"Well, at least until then, we know he won't be up to anything," Peter stated as he looked over to Bobby, who was keeping his distance. "You're not coming back, are you?"

"Not until I see a note from your doctor." Bobby proclaimed.

"You've hung out with me for over a year." Peter was sorry to remind his friend. "If it's dangerous, you're contaminated."

Bobby then started to worry and took several steps away.

Then the next day, they made their way to the celebrations and found all of the celebrations that they had out. Some people were handing out Spider-Man costumes, masks, and even stuff like watches and t-shirts.

That's when Peter was looking around with May and came across MJ wearing a new shirt. Seems that she bought one of the other Spider-Man shirts. Instead of the white sleeveless shirts, seems she went for a black shirt with short sleeves and a heart-shaped Spider-Man mask on it. Even her pants had Spider-Man lenses with his logo on the other leg.

"What are you wearing?" Peter asked with a laugh.

MJ looked a little offended and shrugged as she showed off her outfit. "What? I'm here to show off my support for my favorite hero."

Peter laughed and May quickly make herself scarce. "I'm gonna go find your aunt, you kids have fun."

They watched her leave and laughed. Barry hasn't shown up yet as he planned to make a grand entente when they announced him. Peter needed to stick around as he needed to take photos for the Bugle.

"So, you gonna make a grand entrance or something?" MJ asks as she walked around the area.

"Well, I was thinking of it," Peter admitted as he shrug. "What do you think? I was thinking either going in through the back or swinging in from the front."

"I'd say the second one could look better on a photo," MJ said as she took his camera. "Come on, I'll keep taking some shots, and you get ready for your entrance."

"You're the best," Peter said as he pecked her cheek.

At the parking lot, Cisco and Joe are watching everything.

"We expecting trouble?" Cisco wonders as he saw Joe focused on his gun.

"Cops expect trouble. In this city, I expect evil monsters." Joe states that Cisco couldn't disagree.

Cisco then looked and just noticed someone in the crowd that completely stood out. Caitlin was there, seemingly walking around and looking for someone.

"Would you look at that? Look who's back in town." Cisco was surprised to see her.

Caitlin made her way through the crowd looking for a specific person and found him. "Bobby!"

Bobby was wandering around when he saw his cousin was there and smiled. "Hey, Cait!"

Caitlin ran over and hugged him. "Oh, it's so good to see you!"

"Great to have you back." Bobby was happy to see she was back. "You are back, right?"

"Yeah, I am done helping the JSA," Caitlin assured him. "I was hoping to catch Barry, but it seems he's already gone, huh?"

"Oh, he and Peter are already getting ready to have their announcement." Bobby shrugged and knew their friends would be somewhere.

"What, you not gonna join them?" Caitlin wonders.

"Iceman wasn't invited if you haven't noticed," Bobby stated as he trusted gestures to the entire area. "This is the Flash and Spider-Man's day. And it's only Spider-Man's day thanks to some Bugle string pulling."

"It's strange Jameson suddenly started to like him after, what, a year?" Caitlin was surprised that he quickly changed sides.

"That's what you get for saving someone's life." Bobby shrugged.

But then they watched as the mayor started to take his place under the banner. "People of Central City, we are here today because two people have saved all of us half a year ago. Two people who are barely even recognized for what they have done for our city. So when you're falling with nobody to save you or your store is being robbed, or your house is on fire, who has always been there to break your fall, save your families, and puts out the flames?"

"Flash!" "Spider-Man!" The entire crowd cheers.

"They have helped us against these men and women who have broken not just our laws, but physics and reason. But we got someone else, too. We got the Flash, Iceman, White Tiger, and Bombshell!" The mayor says and everyone cheers again. "Our wounds run deep, and I know many of you are afraid of threats tomorrow may bring. But the Flash and Spider-Man don't just protect us, they restore hope where it was lost. That's why I'm honored to present the key to the heroes who saved Central City. Spider-Man, and the Flash! So let's hear it for them, huh?"

Spider-Man comes swinging on down and gave everyone a high five as he cheered on his way over. Then a few seconds later and a streak of lightning came speeding through the crowd. Barry came up and sped right next to the mayor as Peter came descending from his webbing and the two landed next to each other.

"The doors to Central City will forever be open for you, heroes." The mayor says and held out the keys.

But before the two heroes could accept their awards, Peter's senses go off and they heard someone screaming. They wondered what was happening when they looked behind them and see a car coming at them. Working fast, Peter ran forward and tried to make a net out of his webbing to catch the car whilst Barry evacuated the vicinity.

The net web was capable of catching the car and was able to stop the car from crashing. That's when they looked and noticed that whoever attacked was actually the same person from the sight. He came stomping his way through the crowd with ease and they got their first real look at him.

"Whoa, he does look like a rhino." Peter was shocked to see he was actually a giant robot rhino. "I just thought it was a trick of the fog."

"Let's mock later, stay alive now!" Barry stated.

"Spider-Man." The rhino man snarled at the hero, and they noticed he was focusing on one of them. "I've been dying to crush your skull under my foot!"

"Yeesh, dude, what did I ever do to you?" Peter wonders.

"Whatever he did, you want him, you go through me," Barry stated, running up to attack the rhino man.

But when he started to run around and try to punch him down, it ended with the rhino man slipping his hand and sending Barry flying. He was shot backward and smacked into a police car and got taken down.

Bobby saw they were going to need help and quickly raced down the crowd where he ripped his shirt open, revealing to have his suit on underneath. Peter went in as he shot webbing to blind the man quickly and looked to Cisco who was standing there.

"Cisco, boot him!" Peter asks his friend.

Cisco shook himself out of the trance and quickly ran to the car and picked up his new invention. Quickly Joe began using it to shoot the man in the foot, they were shocked to watch as he ripped it out of the ground.

"Cisco, I thought you said that could take these guys down," Peter asks in shock.

"Yeah, so did I," Cisco admitted.

But before the rhino man could go charging again, Bobby came in and started to take a role from Frozone in Incredibles. He started to create a slide of ice and shooting mist off of his palm and was freezing the man in place. When he left him in a cocoon of ice, he slides to a stop right next to Peter and watched Barry crawl to his feet.

"Okay, does anyone have a ticket for the zoo?" Peter asked with a sigh.

"Question, what's with all the animal enemies?" Bobby asks his friend. "Lizard, Kraven, and now a rhino guy?"

"Ooh, Rhino." Cisco quickly named him. "That works."

"A little on the nose," Barry commented.

"When has that stopped us?" Peter asked sarcastically.

But then his senses went off again, making him wonder what was happening now. Then they watched as the ice the Rhino was in started to break and crack. All of them were trying to figure out what to do when the ice shattered, sending fragments everywhere like giant shards of ice.

They ducked for cover, all trying to avoid the fragments that were flying. But Peter ended up getting smacked in the chest and Bobby was hit in the head. Barry was able to avoid the bigger pieces, but the smaller ones managed to embed themselves into his leg.

The only ones left watched as Rhino's mask started to spark and he quickly removed it. When he did, it was shocking when they noticed that the man underneath the mask was Aleksei Sytsevich.

"That's Aleksei Sytsevich," Joe said in shock. "The body we found at the sight. He's alive."

And before anyone could stop him, Aleksei kicked a police car at the officers to give himself some cover as he ran off, charging down the streets. All of them were confused about what they saw and how this could be possible.

When they made it back to STAR Labs, Peter and Bobby were in the medical labs with Caitlin. Barry was already healed, at least as most as he could on his own.

"This is definitely how I pictured my welcome home party," Caitlin said as a joke.

"Honestly, I kinda figured it too." Bobby wasn't going to lie.

"We'll, according to the coroner's office, Aleksei Sytsevich's body was in the morgue last night," Cisco told them. "So we can at least scratch zombie apocalypse off the list."

"It's sad we have to consider that," Peter stated.

"Does Aleksei have a twin brother?" Joe wonders.

"Nope, an only child," Cisco informed him. "And get this, the night the accelerator explosion, he was in Texas."

"So, we're looking for someone in some strange advanced armor, who calls himself a rhino, and looks exactly like Aleksei Sytsevich?" Mary Jane asks in confusion.

"And has a history with Spider-Man," Peter stated as he walked into the main room. "He talked like he knew me."

"I would think this Rhino dude is a cool new meta if everything about him didn't just terrify me to the core," Cisco stated as he looked over it.

"Is that what happened to you?" Joe asks. "You looked really spooked there."

"Uh..." Cisco wasn't interested in telling them that he had some weird vision of the Rhino.

"Well, what about his armor? Anyway, we can track him using that?" Bobby asks as he felt his chest. "Ow. Still hurts."

"You'll be fine, but I'd recommend not transforming for the rest of the day, see how you feel afterward," Caitlin tells her cousin.

"No, but that gives me an interesting idea," Cisco said as he immediately got to work.

"Okay, and Caitlin, can I see you for a second?" Barry asks, gesturing to the hallway.

"Sure," Caitlin said and followed him out.

Bobby and Peter looked at one another, both of them having a feeling about what they were going for. They also both looked at their phones and watched to look at the time.

"I'll admit, it took longer than I thought." Bobby sighed, reaching through his pocket.

Peter smiled as he held out his hand to Bobby. "I know my brother. He'll keep control until a window opens."

"That's weird," Bobby stated as he handed over five dollars.

In the hallway, Barry quickly pulled Caitlin in for a kiss, which she gratefully returned. She stayed in touch with the team and Bobby over her time helping S.H.I.E.L.D. and Logan with his memories. But to be back in the city she loves with the people she loves was so much better.

"I missed you," Barry said as he took a second to stop.

"I missed you, too." Caitlin laughed at how much he missed her. "Seems this team managed to keep themselves together in my absence."

"Yeah, May took a lot of the slack up," Barry admitted as he leaned back in.

"Whoa, Speedster." Caitlin quickly stopped him. "Slow down a little. I'd love to keep going, but your brother can most likely hear everything. Let's not while in his vicinity."

Barry looked over to the doorway and knew that was the right idea. "Okay, fine."

"Yo." Bobby slid into the doorway. "When you guys are done, we've got something."

Barry and Caitlin walked into the room and wondered what they had found already. "What have we got?"

"Well, we learned that the sample of DNA we found actually had traces of something else," Cisco said as he pulled up the anomalies in his blood. "Rhino DNA."

"Our Rhino dude is literally part rhino?" MJ asks in surprise.

"He seems to have found some sort of gene therapy formula that rewrites his DNA so that his body could fit that suit of his," Stein explains to them. "Which means that when he was taken down, he is going to be looking for more of that."

"And I know where to look," Peter said when he realized he recognized this genetic code. "That's OsCorp genetic coding."

"So, he's going to be attacking an OsCorp facility somewhere." Barry saw what his brother was thinking. "Cisco?"

"On it," Cisco promised as he quickly went over all the facilities with DNA therapy. "Here's one. Silent alert triggered across town."

"Alright, we're on it," Barry said and looked at Peter. "How's your head?"

"Ready for some payback." Peter proclaimed.

"Alright, let's do this," Barry said as he quickly changed before grabbing Peter.

The two sped off whilst Barry put down the flash drive a lawyer gave to him a while before the celebration. Caitlin picked it up and wondered what it was for and looked to the doorway. She decided to keep it aside and focus on keeping them alive.

When Barry and Peter arrived at the sight, they looked around to see a giant gaping hole in one of the doors. Figuring they found where Rhino entered the facility, they quickly made their way inside and started to look around. As they looked around, all they saw were broken test tubes and gigantic shelves pushed over. Peter went left whilst Barry went right and they started to look around for their monster.

Peter leaped and crawled around on the ceiling to get around faster. "This guy really doesn't know the idea of subtlety."

They then heard grunting and whirring, seeming the machinery with the DNA genetics. "I think I found him."

When Barry walked up to another stall, he saw the Rhino injecting himself with the DNA. When he was done, he grabbed a bar and immediately crushed it with his strength.

"Hey!" Barry called him out.

Rhino growled as he looked over toward the hero. "I was wondering how long it would take. Starting to get worried."

"Yeah," Peter called as he drooped from the ceiling, landing on the other side. "We're here to see the newest resident of Iron Heights."

"And we weren't going to let you hurt anyone else," Barry stated as he crossed his arms.

"I'm only here to hurt the two of you," Aleksei informed the two.

"Why'd you kill Aleksei Sytsevich, then? And why do you look like him?" Peter asks him.

"You wouldn't believe me." Aleksei promises them.

"Try me." Barry dared.

"Oh, I will," Rhino stated as he for ready to fight.

"Let's see what you've got," Peter stated as he went in for the first strike.

"We shall." Rhino smiled.

Peter was the first to strike as he shot s web and attached it to his face and shot another toward Barry. Barry then went speeding and grabbed one end of the web before starting to wrap Rhino's legs and torso.

Feeling they did all they needed to, the two looked over the struggling Rhino who couldn't move. But then they watched as he ripped free of the webbing and quickly set them into a moment of shock.

"Okay, plan b." Peter decided

"We have a plan b?" Barry asks.

"We didn't even have a plan a!" Peter reminded him.

While they were distracted, Rhino went in and punched Barry and sent him flying across the room. Seems that this Rhino had a hatred for Peter and smashed his head against the wall.

"He said you were a hero in this world! But you don't seem worthy of him!" Rhino declared. "My Spider-Man wasn't so easy to kill."

"Neither is this one!" Peter choked out as he kicked the wall, smashing it in and helping get himself free. When he was out of the way, Barry quickly phased a pillar that was holding up some shelves and sent them toppling on top of him. But that didn't stop him for long as he pushed them off and got to his knees.

Barry took the time to speed up and punch him at super speed over and over. But he didn't do much in the way of damage to hurt him. Barry was starting to get worried as Rhino crawled to his feet and grabbed Barry by the neck and start to crush him.

"Hey! Hands off!" Peter cried as he quickly leaped back in and shot a taser web at the Rhino.

The second the web had an impact, the Rhino cried in pain and released Barry's neck, and dropped him. Peter quickly lets Rhino go and ran over to pick his brother up.

"Hang on, man," Peter begged as he quickly ran out, hoping it takes Aleksei a minute to get to his feet. "Guys, be ready."

Peter managed to get away from Rhino with not much but another blunt hit to the head and a bruised neck. But Barry wasn't as lucky as his brother as his neck was crushed and he needed to take longer to heal. He was asleep for most of the day as the others were looking for a way to take Rhino down. Blunt force, cold, and speed weren't going to do the job alone so they needed to find a new approach.

Barry was starting to wake up and see he was alone, or so he thought. When he looked over to his left, he saw Caitlin looking over him with worry. He couldn't help but smile and saw she was there to keep him safe. Or to at least make sure that he didn't try and get away without being healed.

"Hey." Barry smiled as he reached his hand out to her.

"Look who's back," Caitlin said with a sigh and took his hand. "You know, I worried that when I was gone you boys would find some way to get yourselves killed. And yet it seems in the last 24 hours, you've been making up for the last few months."

"Yeah, where is everyone?" Barry asks as he looked around.

"Working on some device or weakness with the Rhino's DNA," Caitlin explained and figured they had a moment. "Uh, while we're alone, you left this."

Barry looked and saw it was the USB with Thawne/Wells's will. "Oh, that."

"What is it?" Caitlin wonders.

"Uh, it's uh, apparently, with his death, Wells had some sort of a living will," Barry explains to her as he sat up.

Caitlin nodded in understanding as she had a feeling why he left it. "And you haven't watched it yet?"

Barry glanced at her hand, at the small, entirely terrifying drive. "No." He murmured in sorrow. "I've- I guess I've been. too afraid?"

Caitlin, still holding his hand, gave it an understanding squeeze. "What if we watched it together?"

"That could help," Barry whispered.

Caitlin helped him to his feet and tugged gently on his hand, leading him to the nearest computer. He plugged in the drive, and the computer began to download the material on it with agonizing slowness.

And then there was Dr. Wells. He fixed the camera before he took off his glasses, rubbed his face, and started. "Hello, Barry. If you're watching this, that means something has gone horribly wrong. I'm dead and the last 15 years have been for nothing. Bummer." He chuckled as he thought of how long it has been. "15 years. And what I've realized, with all those years, helping raise you, we were never truly enemies, Barry. I'm not the thing you hate. And so, I'm going to give you the thing that you want most."

Barry's eyes were dark with anger, and Caitlin retook his hand, rubbing her thumb across the top knuckles.

"It doesn't matter." Wells continued. "You can never be truly happy, Barry Allen- Trust me. I know you. Now." He clicked something on his small remote to zoom in a little. "Erase everything I said up to this point, and give the following message to the police."

Then he finally did it.

"My name is Harrison Wells. Being of sound mind and body, I freely confess to the murder of Nora Allen. In her home, on the night of March 18th, in the year 2000. I attacked Nora Allen in her dining room."

"Oh my gosh," Caitlin murmured, as Wells talked on with the details of the murder. "He confessed."

"I stabbed her in the chest with a large butcher knife."

Barry's eyes were filled with tears as he turned to look at her. "This is it." He started to stand, pulling her up with him. "This is what I need to free our dad!"

Barry pulled out his phone and clicked on a contact. "Hey, yeah, hey Joe. Can you meet me at STAR Labs? Yeah. Alright, thanks, yeah. Bye." After he had hung up he grabbed Caitlin's hand again and hugged her.

She pressed her face into the soft cotton of his shirt, breathing him in. His arms were strong and warm, and tight around her back, and it was everything that she had remembered and more.

"I missed you so much, Cait." He pulled back and took a deep breath.

When they informed the others of what was on the video, all of them called everyone they knew and brought them to STAR Labs. They were all waiting in the cortex for Barry to get back with news from Joe. Barry then came walking down from talking with Joe in the halls.

"Is it good news?" Caitlin asked, a little on the nervous side.

"I think so," Barry said, looking shocked.

"Dad's coming home?" Peter asked as he watched him nod.

Peter grabbed his brother in a hug, and Barry beamed at Caitlin from over her shoulder. They were finally going to have what was left of their family back together. But then they knew they still had one more monster to deal with and split off.

"Well, we still have to deal with the rampaging Rhino," Barry said and looked around the room. "Any ideas?"

"Well, we learned that when he takes the formula, with the help of some information from Harry Osborn, he said that the formula only works for a good ten minutes," Cisco informed them.

"Unless, of course, you make him burn that energy off, forcing him to transform back," Stein added on some good news.

"So all we need to do is keep our distance, have him chase us, then take him when he's down." Peter saw that they had a plan.

"And thanks to my favorite cousin the doctor, she says I'm clear for battle." Bobby was happy to help his friends. "What do you say we kick some rhino ass?"

Needing some sort of bait to call him, they decided to use some sort of signal that Cisco had made. For what reason, none of them knew, but they knew that it was the best thing that could lead Rhino to them. They watched as the monster came charging toward them and growled at the three.

"What's up?" Bobby asks him.

"See you got our message," Barry said as he gestured to the signal.

"Three heroes for once," Rhino said as he eyed the three. "Must be my lucky day."

"Or your worst nightmare." Peter declared.

"Come and catch us." Bobby dared.

The three of them dispersed in three different paths, but all of them going in the same direction. Rhino took it as a challenge as he quickly charted after them, actually able to keep up with them.

"Okay, let's make him burn off some more of that energy," Peter said as he swung, looking over to Bobby. "Remember the ending to Incredibles?"

"I'm on it!" Bobby saw what he was thinking.

Skidding his ice down to the ground, Bobby then shot the streets with ice so that Rhino couldn't keep running. When he hit the ice, Rhino did indeed start going sliding the streets as Bobby made an ice wall. When he hit the wall, it shattered but it also increased his anger and allowed Rhino to burn off more of the formula.

"Aw, can't keep up you big baby?" Bobby asked with sarcastic sympathy. Then he noticed how mad Rhino got and he growled and eyed him. "Okay, it worked too well! It worked too well!"

Quickly swinging in to save his friend, Peter snatched up his friend before Rhino could catch up and grab him. They watched as Barry turned around and started to beat up Rhino, sending punch after punch, trying his best to stay away from his gigantic fists.

"Rhino...I...will..." Rhino seemed to start finally getting tired and falling to his knees.

"That's our cue!" Peter cried.

The two then went back and Bobby went shooting ice at his back whilst Peter swung and kicked him in the face. Rhino couldn't keep up with all three of them as all heroes went in and took him down. Rhino then started to shrink back to a human and slip out of his armor. The heroes walked over to him and watched him pant in exhaustion.

"He...he said he'd take me home..." Aleksei whispered in agony.

That got their attention as it seems that this guy wasn't working alone. "Who?"

"Zoom..."

WELCOME HOME, HENRY!

The banner was in cursive, and in purple and pink, which Peter and Bobby thought was a little strange until they were told that Iris was the one who made the poster. Joe welcomed the group into the West house with a hug and congratulated Peter on getting his father back. Barry was currently bringing him over so that they could all celebrate the innocent man finally being cleared.

Cisco, Iris, Joe, May, and even Stein, and his wife, Clarissa were there. They were all bubbling with excited energy, released in one giant, 'WELCOME HOME!" When Henry Allen walked through the door.

He looked so surprised it was kind of cute. Then a huge smile spread across his face, and he grasped Joe in a hug. Then he got a first look at his son since he was a baby and pulled Peter in for a hug. This was the first time since he was five that Peter was able to hug his father and relished in it.

They had gotten a cake that looked remarkably similar to the banner, which was cut into while everyone hugged Henry. And each other. Actually, there was just a whole lot of hugging involved.

"You must be the infamous Mary Jane Watson." Henry finally got his first look at MJ.

"Yes, that would be me," MJ confirmed as she held her hand for him to shake. "Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Allen."

"No, not a shaker," Henry said as he dragged MJ in for a hug. "I'm a hugger."

"Whoa." MJ had to admit getting this much attention from a father figure wasn't something she was used to. With her past, this was something unusual, but she had to admit...it was comforting. "Great, now I'm a hugger.

Barry walked over to hug his dad again, and Caitlin laced their fingers together, sipping at her drink.

A ring of glass shushed them for a moment. Stein was hitting his glass with his fingernail, asking for quiet.

"Gather round, please." They all moved so they were standing around the coffee table. "Looking at all of you, thinking how far we've all come, and remembering those who are no longer with us, I'm reminded of a Hebrew word, used during times of graduation. Kadima." The word rang out in the silence of the living room. "It means 'forward'." He then raised his glass. "Forward."

They all raised their glasses and repeated the one, small, powerful word. Barry turned to her and tilted her chin. "Forward." She kissed him before he had the chance, and it was the most amazing thing she had felt in a long time.

But sadly it seems Henry wasn't going to stick around forever. He promised to stay in touch with his sons, but he knew that they needed him out of the way so they could continue to grow. He said he'd make a trip or two into the city, but they wouldn't need him around to be the heroes he knows them to be.

"I'll call you guys when I'm settled," Henry said to his sons as they dropped him off at the bus stop.

"We'll come and visit once you are," Barry promised.

"Yeah, give Bobby a chance to solo the city." Peter quipped.

"See he got your mother's sense of humor." Henry chuckled as he was happy to see how his son was on our side of the prison. "Well, I am going to be late for my bus, I'll see you guys."

The family of three then came in for one last hug before separating and making their way apart. They were mending the lost time that they had for each other slowly, but the family would get there.

Henry started to make his way to his bus station when he heard someone call his name. "Henry?"

Henry looked over and noticed a familiar face he hasn't seen in a long time. "Dr. Drew?"

Miriam Drew was surprised he remembered her after so long. "It's been a long time, Henry."

"That it has," Henry replied, wondering what she was here for. "What are you doing here?"

"We...we need to talk," Miriam tells him.

Returning to STAR Labs, it seems that Joe kept their keys to the city and handed them to the heroes, even got a spare for Bobby. Then they made their way to the cortex where they saw everyone was there.

"Hey, guys, I should warn you. I gave your suit an upgrade." Cisco tells them and they look to see he upgraded the Flash suit to look like the picture in the time vault. "I was thinking, you know, you shouldn't fear the future anymore, right?"

"I must say, I like it. The lightning definitely pops more against the white." Stein says and Barry agrees it looks better.

"You planning to upgrade my suit soon?" Peter asks Cisco.

Cisco seemed to like that idea and remembered the Spider-Man in the paper. "I'm interested."

"Just don't go with that white symbol," Bobby asks of his friends. "You can do better."

"And STAR labs is now safer than ever," Caitlin tells them.

They finally added a few more security systems and more to protect it so nobody could just walk in when they feel like it. But as they're talking, Peter's senses go off and somebody got in. They all turn to see a shadowy figure in the cortex doorway.

"You better get your money back," Peter stated.

Cisco spun and was surprised to see him. "For real?"

"Stay where you are!" Joe tells the figure and raises his gun.

Peter raises his web shooters ready to fight him. Bobby raised his hands and go ready, not revealing his ice palms quite yet.

"Who are you?" Barry asks him.

"You don't know me, but I know you...Barry Allen." The man says and

"Don't take another step. He asked you a question. Who are you?" Joe warns him as he stops at the light.

"My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger." The man explains and they all think the same thing.

'Aw, crap.'
