Barry sped towards a lone figure seated in a restaurant booth. Upon coming to a halt, he glanced down at his hands. "Gah!" He exclaimed, suddenly releasing the roses he had been holding and crushing them beneath his feet.

Caitlin bolted upright in her chair, realizing there was no immediate danger, and then burst into a fit of giggles. Barry shook his head.

"I had no idea roses were so flammable," Barry said, wincing. "Sorry, those were for you."

Still laughing, Caitlin hugged him. "Hey, it's the thought that counts, right? And the entertainment," she smirked devilishly.

Barry hummed, abruptly changing the subject. "You know, for a long time, I thought I was really unlucky."

"And now?" Caitlin asked.

"Now... it's like I've been struck by lightning twice," Barry said dreamily.

Before Caitlin could respond to that cheesy, but sweet, declaration, a familiar figure in black swirled up to the sidewalk. Barry was unable to even move as Caitlin was dragged away, screaming, by none other than the monster that haunted his nightmares.

Zoom.

Barry zipped off, following the blue lightning that trailed behind Zoom like a tail. They stopped atop a nearby building, and Caitlin's broken screams echoed into the empty air as Zoom held her over the edge by her neck.

"Flaaaaaash..." Zoom growled. "Everything you have.. will be mine..."

He dropped Caitlin, and Barry ran over to try and catch her, but he was too late. He had to watch helplessly as Caitlin fell from the sky and almost hit the ground.

Barry jolted awake in his bed, jumping up into a sitting position as his mind adjusted to the fact that it had been a dream. Beside him, Caitlin shifted more on her side, one hand coming out to unconsciously wrap around his elbow. Barry's heart rate simmered down at her touch, and he sank back onto his pillows, still drenched in sweat.

The Watcher peeked into the universe and even did a quick scan of the area in worry. "Barry Allen has been plagued with darkness, everyone he loves always ends up leaving or he ends up losing them. Something that even his brother has been plagued with and has begun to accept. But he is still going to do everything to make sure they don't lose anyone."

Caitlin blinked open a bleary eye. "I don't know what time it is, but it is much too early for you to be up," she mumbled, still not quite awake herself. "Are you going to tell me what's up with you, or should I go back to sleep?"

Barry instructed, "You can go back to sleep." Dropping a kiss on her hair, he then snuggled back down beside her.

"I'd rather you told me what your nightmare was about," Caitlin mumbled, draping one drowsy arm over his waist and sighing into his chest as she fought her heavy eyelids for a few more moments.

"Tomorrow," Barry promised.

When Caitlin woke up the next morning, Barry was nowhere to be found.

Gwen Stacy was sighing as she looked at herself in the mirror. She appeared worried as she gazed into her own eyes.

Gwen kept telling herself, "You can do this. I can do this. There is nothing wrong with what you're doing." She then pointed at herself and said, "You've done this before."

Then there was a honk outside, and Warren called up the stairs. "Gwen, I think your ride is here for you."

"Coming!" Gwen called as she reached down and put on her earrings.

She then began to make her way outside and found a limousine waiting for her. Gwen rolled her eyes at that as she walked over and the driver opened the door for her.

Gwen sarcastically said as she got into the car. When she did, she found Harry there waiting for her. "You know this was a little extreme."

"Well, my mother gave me the idea," Harry shrugged.

"How has she been doing since you've been back here?" Gwen wondered how she had been doing since he returned.

"She's doing okay," Harry assured her. "So, shall we have lunch?"

"Yeah, I figured you would know what we're doing," Gwen joked with him. "I mean, you were the one who asked me."

Harry chuckled and played with his collar. "Sorry, I'm just nervous," he said.

They drove in silence until they arrived at a fancy restaurant for lunch. She shook her head but entered the restaurant. The mouth-watering smell of fried food hit her, and she immediately craved French fries.

"A table for two, please," Harry said to the waitress, who then led them over to a small table in the corner.

Harry pulled out her chair and Gwen laughed. "Thank you, Harry, but I've been able to sit down by myself since I could walk. I think I have it covered."

He shrugged and sat down across from her, picking up a menu and glancing at it. "What are you ordering?"

Gwen asks, "Can I read the menu first?" in an attempt to keep him calm.

Harry blushed and said, "Right, my apologies."

Gwen grabbed his hand from across the table and squeezed it, then started looking over her own menu. "I want something with French fries," she said.

"We could order a side of French fries," Harry suggested, already knowing what he wanted. "Money isn't an issue here."

"I know. I think I'll get the lobster grilled cheese. And fries with it," Gwen decided what she wanted. "What are you going to have?"

Harry said to her, "I am going to get the fish plate."

Gwen says, "Fishplate? Sounds fancy."

"Not really, but it's the only thing I know I'll eat and be able to stomach," Harry said, causing Gwen to laugh.

The waitress walked over then, and smiled at the two of them. "Hi, I'm Lucy," she said. "I'll be taking care of you tonight. Can I start you, kids, off with some drinks?"

"Drinks!" Gwen exclaimed. "I always look at food first, even though restaurants never fail to ask for drinks before food. Let's see... I guess I'll just get some water."

"Do you have any soda?" Harry asked the waitress. She nodded. "I'll take a Mountain Dew," he said.

"Right away," Lucy said and then quickly walked off.

Gwen and Harry were silent for a moment. Then Gwen started laughing. "You know, weird is so normal for us now that normal seems strange," she said.

"Oh," Harry said, looking disappointed. "Do you think this is strange?"

"No!" Gwen exclaimed quickly. "No, of course not. We're just trying to pretend that we don't know anyone with powers and it's not working."

Harry asked, "How did you and Peter start dating?"

Gwen sighed as she thought of her ex. "It's complicated," she said, "but I think our first official date was at my parents' place."

"I have a feeling they chewed him up like it was nothing," Harry said, taking a wild guess.

Gwen laughed as she thought of the memory. "Basically," she replied.

They ate their food and exchanged stories of their encounters with Peter for the fun of it. This gave them something to talk about for about an hour while eating. When they were done, they walked out of the restaurant both very full and even hand in hand.

They were so engrossed in each other that they still failed to notice the man who had been watching them. When they left the restaurant, they were frozen in shock as they noticed Bobby standing there. He had an ice cream in his hands that was beginning to melt, so he leaned down and blew some ice breath on it.

Bobby says, "So, when did this happen?"

But they were saved by the bell when their phones went off and Cisco and Wells needed to see them.

Joe and Iris were showing Wally West his son around the precinct when someone who was being brought in made a strange comment. Then Wally made a hasty retreat before anyone could ask anything else about that. Caitlin then approached the two and asked to talk to Iris briefly.

Caitlin was trying to find someone she could talk to about the whole situation with Barry and his nightmares. There weren't that many people she could confide in with this knowledge since a handful of people knew who Barry was and Iris was practically his sister. Not to contradict Peter's importance, but she would know him best since they grew up together and would be the best help.

"I just don't get it, Iris," Caitlin sighed into her cup of coffee as she and her female friend walked down the hallways of the hospital. "One second he's fast asleep, then the next he's moaning and jolting awake, looking like he's never been more broken in his life. Then he's gone in the morning, and avoids the subject all day."

Iris shrugged in her direction, sipping her mug of dark liquid. "This is Barry we're talking about. Sometimes he does weird things for no explainable reason."

Caitlin sighed again and gazed into her coffee as if it might hold all the answers. "I know. I know! It's just... you know... he usually opens up to me."

"I know he does," Iris agreed, patting her shoulder. "Which means that he'll open up to you this time, too. Just give him time, 'kay?"

"Yeah. Thanks, Iris," Caitlin said, seeing that she was probably just overreacting. They then received a message from Cisco and Wells, saying that they needed to get to STAR Labs immediately. "Wonder what that's about?"

MJ sighed as she took a few steps towards Jitters, but then immediately started to walk away. She had been doing this for about half an hour by this point and was hesitant to walk into those doors. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to go through with the talk her aunt had set up with her and her sister. But at the end of the day, she mustered up her strength and walked back to the door.

Once MJ opened the door, she was hit with the smell of coffee, but she kept going as she walked over to where Gayle was waiting for her. When MJ took her seat, the two of them took a moment and just sat there in silence.

"Well, how have you been, Mary?" Gayle asks her sister.

"I have been fine," MJ assured her. "And... I actually go by MJ now."

Gayle wasn't sure how she felt about that. "That's...that's actually pretty cute."

MJ however didn't know what she was even doing and got to the bottom of it all. "What are you doing here?"

Gayle didn't seem to understand the question; she asked, "What do you mean?"

"I mean that it has been two years," MJ explains her question. "Practically three years since I have seen you. And all of a sudden, you show up out of the blue."

Gayle defended her appearance, "You were the one who called me."

MJ reminded her, "I left you a message. You didn't even take the time to pick up the phone."

"It was-"

And don't give me the excuse of time zones; you would have been up for three hours in London. I grew up down the hall from you, before you abandoned us.

Gayle defended her actions, saying, "I did not abandon you."

MJ reminded her, "You left us to fend for ourselves. The second you had the chance to get out, you left. You didn't even show up for Mom's funeral." Then she started crying.

Gayle tried to defend herself, "I... I was busy."

"And what about when the giant wormhole appeared and almost destroyed the city? Not even a message," MJ says to her.

Gayle didn't have anything to say and then went into a moment of silence. MJ saw she had finally gotten through to her sister and wasn't sure what to do next.

"I want you to be a part of my life, Gayle," MJ said softly. She had wanted that for three years. But right now it wasn't the best time. "But right now it isn't the best time." MJ knew she couldn't drag her sister into her life right now. There was still the issue with the Hobgoblin and Zoom out there. The last thing she needed was her sister being dragged in as a victim. "I am glad that you're here...but it's too sudden for me."

Then her phone went off and she took it out to see that it was an emergency contact from the team. She knew something was wrong and knew Peter would either be at the labs or answering the emergency call.

"And now I have to go," MJ said as she got up and grabbed her bag.

Gayle asks her, "Where are you going?"

"My friends need me," MJ explained quickly as she made her exit.

At Mercury Labs, Christina McGee was walking down the hallway with two security guards when she was suddenly thrown at incredible speeds by Zoom. As he turned his attention towards her, Eobard Thawne arrived as well. However, before he could get close to her, Barry Allen sped in between them.

Barry was shocked when he saw that Eobard Thawne, also known as the Reverse Flash, was still alive. "Eobard Thawne?"

Thawne stopped his vibrating, evil red eyes thing. "You know who I am?"

Barry exclaimed in horror, "You're dead!"

"Good to know," Thawne stated, not fazed. "And guess what, Flash? I know what era you're from. That means very soon...I'll learn who you are. And then, you and everyone you love will die."

Suddenly, a giant rift opened up behind the speedsters, who shielded their eyes from what was happening. A mystical-looking webbing was then shot out of the rift, attempting to wrap itself around Thawne's leg. However, Thawne was quick to zoom out of the way of the projectile and watched as someone emerged from the rift.

Barry was shocked when he saw the familiar face of Spider-Man Supreme, aka Peter Parker-Coulson. The same Peter who had saved Barry's brother from that multiversal vampire Morlun.

Barry was seriously confused. "Peter?" he questioned.

"Don't let him escape!" Peter Supreme cried out as he summoned a blast of energy.

Peter attempted to use The Bolts of Balthakk as an attack against Thawne, but Thawne managed to dodge it, causing an explosion in the room. This provided a distraction for Thawne to grab McGee and make a run before anyone realized where they had gone.

Supreme cried in frustration as he ripped off his mask and started to snarl. Barry wondered what he was doing there when the rift opened, and Gwen stepped out wearing her Ghost-Spider uniform.

"Surprise!" Gwen-65 greeted the hero. "We're back."

Barry returned to STAR Labs with the news and used a portal to transport himself and Gwen. They were now meeting again, some for the first time. Gwen was amazed as she finally got to meet the girl she had heard so much about from Peter's stories.

"Wow," Gwen commented as she looked over her doppelganger. "I have to say, I'm loving the haircut."

"Thanks, that will help me keep my hair short while I wear this mask," Gwen-65 replied sweetly.

"Wait, there are now two Peters and two Gwens? Is this a cloning situation or a chameleon situation?" Harry asks in confusion.

Bobby explained, still a little confused about how to react to learning he was on a date with Gwen. "Peter and Gwen come from another dimension. They'll probably explain it better than I can."

"Are you all okay?" Joe asks the Allen family.

"I'm fine, yes. It's just a lot," Barry sighed.

Peter nodded in disbelief and replied, "Same here."

"So, what the heck?" Mary Jane asks them all. "I've seen a lot of time-travel movies, and I'm still confused about how it works in the Terminator sequels. If a family member dies in the past, their family from the future gets erased from existence, right? Is that how time travel works?"

"Yeah, I'm with you," Harry agreed. "How is Eobard Thawne still alive after his ancestor Eddie Thawne sacrificed himself?"

Peter Supreme explained to them, "He's not your Eobard Thawne." They all looked at him and Gwen, hoping he would elaborate. "This Eobard Thawne, we've been chasing him for a while now."

"Since the Singularity and our encounter with Morlun, we've been fighting others who escaped from their respective branches. Morlun left tears in those branches when he used that dimensional knife. The Thawne you encountered today is from another branch of reality; he slipped through a tear by accident due to his speed. We were able to track him down because we were alerted that he had escaped his world, and then Peter felt Cisco using his powers, which helped us narrow down where he was."

"Wait, speedsters can cross the BRANCHES, too?" Peter Allen asked in surprise. He then looked over to Peter Supreme. "I thought only you could."

"Only when I have the power of the Mirror inside me," Supreme corrected him. "Thawne came through one of the tears in reality that I need to seal. But if I seal it with him on this side, it could become a mess."

"How big of a mess?" Joe asks the boy.

"Right now, it's the equivalent of a cut on the body of the universe," said Peter Supreme. He tried to dumb it down the best he could. "Easy to fix, if it's treated fast and right. But if we don't end this, it'll become like the scene from Alien."

"And what would that do to the universe?" Gwen asked fearfully.

"All realities merging into one," Peter Supreme began.

"Hellfire to thousands of variants," Gwen-65 continued.

"Millions of people screamed in terror," Peter Supreme continued.

"Okay, we get the picture," MJ said, stopping them from going any further. "Merging realities is not good."

"Well, it doesn't matter," Barry promises them. "Because we're going to stop him, in this timeline once and for all." He looks at the clock and notices Joe has already left. "Look, if you find anything, give us a call. Peter, do you want to join us for dinner with Wally?"

"I think I should stay here," Peter said as he eyed his doppelganger and looked at Gwen. The last he heard of the two of them, they separated and went to their home universes. "Keep an eye on Mystic Man and his girlfriend."

Barry nodded and Caitlin went to find a way of tracking Thawne herself while Joe made his way out. "Okay, then we'll see you when we hear something," he said.

"I'll go and see if I can fix Ramon's glasses more to find something," Wells stated as he walked off.

"Hey, hey, no touching my stuff!" Cisco cried as he marched after Wells.

"I'm touching your stuff," Wells promises.

The "West Family Dinner," set up by Joe and Iris to get Wally and Barry to meet and get to know each other a little better, fell flat. Wally didn't show, and Joe left after waiting for a miserable hour, disappointed and hurt.

Iris picked up the plates, sighing as she went. "Well, West Family 2.0 is definitely getting off to a rocky start."

Barry, still slumped on the couch, grunted his acknowledgment.

Iris raised an eyebrow. "You've been awfully quiet all evening. Is this because of Thawne being back?"

Barry frowned. "How do you know about that?" Iris only smiled and placed the plates in the sink. "No, um... no. Okay, maybe a little. But mostly I've just had a lot on my mind."

"Caitlin?" Iris asked, Barry, looking up, a little startled. "We might have met at CCPD this morning."

Barry sighed and rubbed his forehead.

Iris took a few steps forward, pleading with him with her eyes. "She loves you, Barry," she said softly. "And she's hurt that you've been hiding... whatever it is you've been hiding from her."

"What did you say?" Barry asked worriedly.

"I just said that you loved her and that you'd come around," Iris said. "So now you have to come around, or I'll look like a liar." As Barry fought a smile, Iris came around the table and rested her hand on his shoulder. "She did mention that you've been having nightmares."

The smile faded from Barry's face, and he nodded soberly. "About Zoom. Killing her."

"Look," Iris breathed. "I know that you need to protect everyone that you love. But Barry…this is Caitlin. She wants to be there for you. If she didn't, she wouldn't have dated you for this long."

Barry nodded, his chest feeling tight and heavy as he tried to figure out exactly what he should do. "Okay," he whispered. "Okay."

Back at STAR Labs, Gwen, and Gwen-65 were talking and wandering around STAR Labs. They were discussing the differences between their worlds and wanted her perspective on what happened against Morlun.

"So," Peter said, getting Peter Supreme's attention as they waited for Cisco to return with news. "How did this happen?"

Supereme asks him, "How did what happen?"

"How did you and Gwen get together?" Peter wanted to know how it happened.

"Well...when I went back to my home universe, things were beginning to go back to normal." Peter Supreme recalled what happened after Morlun died. "I went back around my normal day, but it seemed that when I used the Darkhold to save you and the other us, something happened."

"What?" Peter was curious about what happened to his doppelganger. "What happened?"

"This." Peter Supreme closed his eyes, then opened them and revealed his Third Eye.

"Oh, god!" Peter stumbled back in shock. "That...that isn't contagious, is it?"

Supreme promises, "No, it helps me peak into the universes and even predict a few of my opponents' moves." He then looks over towards Gwen and Gwen. "And so I decided to try and control this power, and that's when Gwen came in. I gave her a way to travel the multiverse, and she decided to come back to mine."

"How long has it been since you last saw us?" Peter was curious about the timeline.

"I'd say about half a year." Peter Supreme recalled. "I think our timelines are close enough that we end up finding ourselves in the same time frame. At least now, on my Earth, the year is currently 2021."

"Oh, really?" Peter was surprised to hear that. "Does that mean you guys already got the sequel to Last Jedi?"

Peter Supreme froze as he recalled what his version of Star Wars Episode 9 is about. "Uh...no. No, we still gotta wait."

"Oh," Peter said, feeling disappointed at hearing that news.

Supreme then felt a disturbance in this timeline and knew something happened. When he practically froze time and pinpointed that it was Cisco who was locating Reverse Flash. By the time Supreme broke out of the trance, Cisco and Wells were back in the cortex with Barry speeding into the room.

"Wells got me to vibe-"

"You can tell them later." Wells cut him off. "Just- just tell them what you saw."

Cisco fiddled with his hands. "The Reverse Flash - I saw him with Doctor McGee... and he killed her."

Caitlin exclaimed in horror, "Dr. McGee is dead?!"

Cisco slumped. "Wells and I... we're trying to hone my powers to find Zoom, and then we ended up using them to find the Reverse Flash, and... I saw him kill her. And then he left."

Peter's eyebrows shot up as he asked, "He left?"

"What do you mean, he left?" Barry asked.

"McGee built him some kind of speed machine, and he ran into it and got flung back to the future," Cisco snapped, looking upset.

Barry slumped, looking impossibly frustrated at the situation. Wells shook his head. "Well, you'd need superluminal energy to send someone through time."

"You mean like-"

"Tachyons," Supreme finished, recalling how his portals worked. "The same way I can travel the Multiverse."

Barry struggled with what to do. "Well, we can track their locations once they have been activated," he said.

Wells was already at the computer, typing into the search parameters. "Nothing," he said.

"Cisco, are you sure that's what you saw?" Gwen inquired.

Cisco rubbed his forehead, looking tired and unhappy. "Yes," he replied.

Barry nodded, satisfied with the answer, but Wells turned towards him. "What else did you see?"

Cisco remembered seeing "all sorts of weird tech everywhere." He added, "There was a clock."

Wells demanded, his face stone serious. "What time did the clock say?"

"9:52, I think - how is that relevant?" Cisco asks.

"Cisco, it's six o'clock," Harry said.

Cisco stood abruptly, sending his chair rolling away with one dramatic push. "Are you telling me, I can see the future?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying," Wells said.

"Those goggles need names," Cisco muttered. "Right now."

Caitlin felt a little glow of hope start-up in her chest. "That means Dr. McGee's still alive," she said.

"That's correct," Gwen replied joyfully.

Barry clapped his hands together, getting down to business. "Okay. We have three hours and fifty-two minutes to find her and stop the Reverse Flash. Let's do it."

"I'll work on a more spiritual approach," Peter Supreme suggested as he walked away.

MJ and Iris were the only two left in the Cortex and both were confused about what to do.

"So..." Iris tried starting a conversation. "How'd it go with your sister?"

MJ chuckled and hugged herself. "It went pretty bad." She sighed and was a little disappointed with herself. "I just blew up on her."

"Why?" Iris was curious to know why she would do that.

MJ shrugged and sighed as she dropped her arms. "I don't know. It's...she's...I haven't seen her in two years. After everything, after everything, dozens of missed calls, unanswered messages, she decides suddenly that she wants me back in her life."

Iris sighed as she had a similar situation with her. "I went through a similar situation when I learned that my mom was alive," she said, walking around the desk and leaning back against it. "I didn't want anything to do with her, and now I learned she doesn't have much time left. She's currently on her deathbed as it is. Don't make the same mistake; you have the time to make up for the past."

MJ sighed again and took her words to heart. "It won't change what happened," she said softly.

"But it can change what could be," Iris explained to her.

A few hours later, the atmosphere was considerably more tense in STAR Labs. Taking her own advice, Iris had left a while ago to go talk with Wally. Peter even went along with her since he wasn't much used to the Labs for the time being.

"Nice nitrous kit," Iris said when she found Wally working on a car. "You know you're going to get caught one of these days. You know that, right? Then you'll be thrown in jail."

"I'll stop racing when these hospital bills stop coming in," Wally told him, noticing Peter. "You brought the baby brother?"

"Hey, you and I are treading the same path, pal," Peter said, eyeing the car.

"What the heck does that mean?" Wally asks the boy.

"Iris mentioned that you haven't seen your mom lately," Peter explained, gesturing toward Iris. He noticed the offended look on Wally's face. "Hey, she's practically my brother's adoptive sister; we talk."

"She knows why I didn't go to see her." Wally sneered at the boy.

"She thinks it's because you're angry with her," Iris informed her brother.

"I have every right to be angry," Wally tells her. "Nothing for twenty years, and then out of nowhere, I have a sister and a father."

"Yeah, the same thing happened to me too, remember? But that shouldn't stop you from seeing her. 'But that shouldn't stop you from seeing her before you can't anymore.'"

"No," Wally stated as he closed the hood. "That's not what it is. I've gotta go."

Peter watched as he walked off and sighed. "Two years ago, my uncle died. This was just after I learned I was adopted. I didn't know where they were, but I learned there was a mother and father I never got to know. Maybe even siblings who I never got to know. But then he was killed before he could explain to me why. I never got to say goodbye; I never even got the chance to apologize. I lived with that regret for two years. He raised me the best he could, and I threw it back like it was nothing. She's not my mom, but I never got to know my real mom. Ask yourself if it's worth it to live with the regret."

Wally started listening, but once he was finished, he walked off.

"We're running out of time," Barry muttered. "We've gotta find them."

"It'll take a few minutes for the device to reach full power once it's activated," Cisco reported. "When we find it, you're going to have to get there fast."

"Anything?" Gwen-65 asked Peter Supreme, who was searching the universe for Thawne.

"No, there are too many variables to know where he could be," Peter Supreme said as he continued to search the universe. "This is why I hate hunting speedsters and teleporters."

"Wait, I got something!" Cisco cried as something went off on his screen. "Tachyons! 87th and Avenue J."

Peter Supreme said, "I've got this," as he quickly used his powers to open a portal there.

Barry sped into his suit before going through the portal and reached the scene quickly. Barry burst onto the monster in an explosion of speed, knocking the Reverse Flash backward.

Barry immediately turned to the Dr. "You're okay? Okay, okay, get out of here, go, go!"

Swinging back towards Eobard, he saw the villain get back on his feet, mask dislodged. Peter quickly ran over to the tachyon device and promptly destroyed it, even going so far as to use his musical energy to rip the thing apart. If Thawne were to escape to the future in this timeline, it would have ripped time and space apart since Thawne was supposed to be there. He needed to be returned to his original BRANCH of reality.

"That was my way home!" Eobard roared angrily.

"You're not going anywhere," Barry told him, facing off with his old nemesis.

"I'll find another way to get back," Thawne promises.

"You'll have to get past me," Barry said.

Eobard pulled his hood back over his face. "Catch me if you can," he said as he raced off, with Barry close on his heels.

Everyone at STAR Labs turned to Barry's tracker on the city-scape map, watching it blur around the streets in fast motion. "Oh, it's on," Cisco muttered.

The two of them ran and ran, until finally, Barry took a shortcut and cut the Reverse Flash off, slamming him into a metal fence with a clattering crash.

Barry growled, "You're not fast enough." Punching the Reverse Flash across the face, he added, "I will never lose to you again." After hitting him one more time, he spun around and slammed his nemesis into yet another section of the fence. "This war between us ends now!"

Using his super speed, Barry slammed his fists into Eobard's stomach, relentlessly and mercilessly. Caitlin leaned forward, "Barry, you've gotta stop!" He didn't listen, continuing to pummel the man who had destroyed his life.

"Don't kill him, Barry; just bring him in," Peter instructed his brother.

With another crash, Barry stopped his tirade, letting the Man in Yellow keel over sideways, bloody and beaten. "Get the cell ready," Barry tells the team. Then Barry picked him up, and they flashed back off to STAR Labs.

Thawne was currently in a cell at STAR Labs, with Barry adding some extra precautions to the cell to keep him inside. He didn't want this BRANCHED variant escaping and causing havoc on the multiverse any more than he already had.

"He can't phase his way out of that," Peter Supreme promises them. "He isn't going anywhere unless we want him to."

"Barry, where are you going?" asked Joe as Barry walked away.

"I am going down there," Barry said.

"No, you're not," Wells said, quickly stopping him. "The more he learns about you, the more ramifications for all of the multiverse you could screw up."

"He killed our mother!" Barry exclaimed, eyes fixed on the monitors.

"He's from a parallel dimension," Supreme explained. "In his eyes, he hasn't done that... or maybe he never will. He doesn't even know Barry Allen is The Flash if Barry Allen is The Flash in his universe. Now that we have him contained, I need to work on a spell to drag him back to his original universe. His presence here has already messed with history, my own presence in this universe is messing with the universe, and there's no way of predicting what will happen if I don't fix the scar in the universe."

"Barry, you stopped him and saved Dr. McGee. To me, that's a victory." Caitlin tried to ease his mind.

"This doesn't feel much like a victory," Barry stated with a sigh.

"He doesn't know it, but they're right," the Watcher stated as he looked at his cracking dimension. "Unless Peter Supreme can complete his task and send Thawne back to his own world, then everyone will be in danger."

"I will find you..." HYDRA H's voice echoed through the cracks.

"If they don't hurry, he can break free. He can shatter the barriers between all worlds." The Watcher became fearful at the thought.

Cisco, however, was starting to hear something, noticing his bloody nose. He started to look around, wondering what he was hearing. The Watcher froze and realized the cracks were becoming strong enough that even Cisco could hear him.

"Hello?" Cisco called into the hallway, feeling weak.

Barry had just finished up one of the most satisfying conversations of his life with Eobard when Caitlin's frantic voice came down through the Pipeline speakers. "We need you in the Cortex - now!"

He shut the door to Eobard's cage and flashed away immediately. When she arrived, Cisco was seizing on the bed with blood gushing from his nose, while Joe and Wells held him down.

"What's happening?" Barry inquired.

"He's experiencing an uncontrollable amount of energy in his brain, putting him in a prolonged state of epileptic seizure," Caitlin cried, hunched over the computer screen monitoring Cisco's brain activity.

"Can you stop it?" Barry choked out, hurrying over to help the men holding Cisco down.

She turned to him, her face a mess of emotions. "I don't know," she said, shaking her head and biting her lip. "Hold him down for me, okay?"

"We're trying!" Joe yelled back, his hands clamped to Cisco's thrashing shoulders.

"Sedate him, Snow," Wells bellowed to her.

Caitlin ran towards the bed, holding a syringe, which she jabbed hard into Cisco's leg. His thrashing slowed to some small jerks, then to stillness.

Joe exhaled in relief. "Finally."

Then they all jerked back with matching horrified gasps as Cisco's body turned translucent and intangible.

"What is that?" Barry asked in alarm.

"What's going on? Where the hell am I?" Cisco yelled from the bed, eyes still shut and body still motionless, his voice sounding echoey and far away.

"Cisco," Barry cried.

"It's the BRANCHES," Peter realized, his face going pale.

"What? What are you talking about?" Barry asked him.

"When you captured Reverse Flash," Peter stammered, words coming out in a blur. "It messed up the universe because this isn't your Thawne. That's what all the blood is about and the seizures and...and Cisco is being affected by the change to the universe, the changes of the past, changes to the present, and the changes to the future. This is what this is. We need to do something and we need to do it fast."

"What?" Joe exclaimed.

"We need to restore the timeline, Barry. You need to get Reverse Flash and send him back to his world as quickly as possible," Wells tells Barry.

"What?!" Barry exclaimed. "I just caught him, you want me to let him go?"

"If you don't do this, you'll kill Cisco, not to mention two realities," Peter warned him. "The worlds will merge and kill everyone on both ends."

"Barry, if this is the only way you can save him and everyone else, you have to do it," Joe yelled, frantically gripping the edge of the bed.

"Please, Barry," Caitlin pleaded, her legs feeling weak, knowing that she could be the next one to disappear from the universe at any second.

His eyes shot to hers, and the fight went out of him. "Okay, but I—we destroyed the tachyon drive. How are we supposed to get him home?"

"Your speed," said Peter Supreme, knowing of a quick compromise for this. "Your speed, coupled with Thawne's speed and my magic; that'll be enough to break the barrier between the universes."

An internal struggle was fiercely evident on Barry's face as he stared at Cisco's evaporating body. Barry's eyes then turned back to her, and he nodded. "Alright. Alright. Let's do it."

Peter Supreme thought it was wise to keep everyone that Thawne wasn't aware of yet out of the room for when he was sent back. So, Gwen, Gwen-65, Peter, Bobby, MJ, and just about anyone other than Peter Supreme, Barry, and Wells were out of the way. Thawne and Barry started to run, and as far as Thawne was concerned, they were running to open a portal to send him home.

However, Peter was also channeling the Mirror to try and open the rift he came through. Once the job was done, Thawne was sent through the rift, and Peter Supreme closed it up. The universe was starting to slowly heal, and Cisco was the first thing to be fixed.

"So, what will happen to Thawne?" MJ asks when they return to the Cortex.

"Well, that depends on what his destiny is," Peter Supreme shrugged. "There are thousands of Eobard Thawnes out there, as well as Peter Parkers, Barry Allens, and Mary Janes, all of them with their own destinies."

"That's his artsy way of saying 'I have no idea,'" Gwen-65 stated as she walked up to him.

"We also left you this," said Peter Supreme as he tossed a small device that looked like a football to Barry. "That should help you fix those breaches that you have around the city. I would stay and help out, but I cannot interfere any further."

"Seriously? You guys have this solved and packaged up already?" Barry asked as he looked it over.

"Throw it into a breach, and it will do the work for you," Peter Supreme recaps how it works. "Good luck."

Gwen-65 bumped his shoulder to get his attention. "Now, speaking of destinies..."

"Right," said Peter Supreme. He understood what she was saying. "We have to go." He then turned around and whipped his hand to open a portal back to his universe. "The universe isn't fixed yet. We only took care of one timeline. It's like a game of Operation."

"Which he sucks at," Gwen-65 stated.

"I don't!" Peter Supreme stated as Gwen stepped through the portal. "Stop telling people that."

"But it's so much fun when they believe it," Gwen-65 said, as Peter stepped through the portal.

"Farewell, pray we never need to see each other again," Peter Supreme said as he closed the portal.

Bobby comments, "That guy is so serious."

"But it is nice to know that, in every dimension, Peter Parker is a hero," MJ stated as she leaned over and kissed him. "I'm going to go. See you guys tomorrow."

"I'm going to head home, too," Peter said as he walked off. "May will have a lot of fun hearing this story."

Gwen sighed as she saw how well she and Peter could have worked out in a different life. She then saw Bobby nodding towards Peter and sighed as she decided to just get this over with. She walked over to try and catch up with him when Peter reached the elevator.

"Hey, Peter," Gwen says as he stops and turns back to her. "Can we talk? Listen... something happened that I think you should be aware of."

Peter wonders, concerned for his friend, "What happened?"

"Harry and I... we went on a date," Gwen confessed, waiting to see how he would react.

However, Peter seemed not to even mind as he only laughed. "That's really great," he said.

Gwen had expected a million different reactions, and that was not one of them. "You... you don't mind?"

"Why would I mind?" Peter asked as he gestured toward the elevator. "I'm with MJ now. Harry is a great guy; he's a good friend. I'm happy for you."

Barry sped over to the two and held out one of the devices. "Hey, sorry, am I interrupting?"

"No, we were just finishing up," Peter promised. "What's up?"

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to try one of these out," Barry said, spinning the device around. "Want to play catch with your brother?"

MJ had just begun walking home when she fumbled in her pockets and noticed a card that showed where her sister was staying. She realized that the address was actually on her way back from STAR Labs and decided to pay her a quick visit. She walked around and found the apartment complex, which seemed like a common place to live.

When she found the door, she knocked and waited for someone to answer. Gayle opened the door and was shocked when she saw her sister. "Mary?"

"Yeah, hi," MJ greeted her, trying to act casual.

"Do you want to come in?" Gayle asked.

"No, I only stopped by for a second," MJ said, working up the courage. "Look... about what I said at Jitters..."

Gayle stopped her from taking it back. "I know you meant every word of it," she said softly. "But you have to remember, I was stuck in that household a few years longer than you were. I needed some time away to try and get a sense of normalcy again. When I heard Mom had died, I needed some time to myself. And I will admit, I never thought about you because I knew you would be somewhere safe. And look at you, MJ! At your age, I was shriveled up in a corner in fear. But you're standing up for yourself, you have friends, you have a perfect life. A better life than anything I could have given or helped you with."

MJ nodded and looked down. "Almost perfect. I want you back in my life."

Gayle smiled through tears as she pulled her sister into a tight hug. MJ returned the gesture, embracing her sister tightly.

Barry took Peter to an outer part of the city where a breach had occurred and set the device to work. It was far from prying eyes, so they could work undisturbed.

"If what Supreme said in his instructions can be believed, once this device makes contact, it will collapse the event horizon on this side of the breach, thereby shutting off any connection to Earth-2 permanently," Barry says as he tosses the device to Peter. "You do the honors."

"Looks like those football tryouts Ben made me take are coming in handy for once," Peter joked, getting Barry to laugh as Joe did the same to him.

Peter then starts doing a small walk as he throws the device into the Breach and they watch as it collapses in on itself. Peter then walks over and shoots a web at where the portal once stood to see if it's gone. They watch as the web flies through the air and manages to hit the warehouse building but doesn't go anywhere.

"We did it!" Peter exclaims as he hugs Barry.

"That was amazing!" Barry replied, cheering. Then a thought occurred to him. "If we can do this, then I think we should do something."

Peter asked, "What do you mean?"

"I say we take the fight to Zoom," Barry explained, and Peter was only getting more lost. "You have a break from school coming up, right?"

"Yeah, we have the week off approaching. Why?" Peter wasn't sure he liked where this was going.

"Then I'm going to go to Earth-2," Barry explains. "I'm going to go and we're going to take Zoom down for good."

"A direct approach?" Peter echoed, seeing the wisdom in the idea. "You know what? Why the hell not? I say we take him down for good."

"We?" Barry asks.

"Hey, you're not traveling to a parallel universe alone," Peter informed his brother. "After all, I am an expert in interdimensional travel; I've visited at least five different worlds."

The Watcher eyed them from a distance and started to panic. "You two are going to be the death of me."
