Once they'd all actually managed to morph into flies, Tommy couldn't help being a bit giddy; though he tried to keep a lid on things, since the rest of the Animorphs did seem to be getting a bit carried away. After awhile, they all managed to get themselves organized so that they could land on Tobias. Tobias was going to be the one who actually carried them to the hospital they were going to be investigating, since while flies seemed to be fast, Tobias was the one who was actually fast enough to get them to the hospital before their morph time ran out.

If there was one thing that all of them could agree on, it was that none of them wanted to risk being trapped as a fly.

(Okay, we're at the hospital,) Tobias said, after a brief encounter a flea that had been hiding under Tobias' feathers. (I'll make a low pass, then tell you guys when to jump off. It'll be kind of like an old war movie; you guys are the paratroopers.)

(Good example,) Marco said, sounding like he'd have probably been rolling his eyes, if any of them had still been capable of that kind of thing. (You ever notice how in those old movies, the paratroopers mostly get shot?)

(Let's try not to think of it that way,) he said, trying to get all of them back on track again.

(Okay, everything looks fine,) Tobias reported. (I see an open window on the third floor; no screen.)
