When Empress Rita called on him again, after sending out a group of her Putties to distract the Pink and Black Rangers – who had been either tailing him for some reason or simply lived in the same general area he currently did – Tommy found himself teleported into the Dark Dimension. Just behind where Goldar had been standing, in fact. The Red Ranger was present, as well, though pleasantly enough he seemed to have been worn down by all the fighting.
"Goldar, stop," he said, as soon as he had finished materializing within the Dark Dimension.
"I thought Rita wanted me to destroy him," Goldar said, and it almost sounded like he was disappointed, though perhaps just at the prospect of not getting to see to the Red Ranger's death personally.
Tommy would make sure to complete the task, for both their sakes.
"She wants me to handle that," he said, feeling that he should at least try to reassure Goldar about what was going to happen. "I'll make sure it gets done."
Goldar didn't seem particularly happy, but both of them were loyal servants of Empress Rita, and both of them were bound to obey her in the end.
"So, Red Ranger, this is the second time we meet," he said, turning his attention to the trapped Ranger standing in front of him.
"You're wearing a Green Ranger costume, and yet your loyalty is with Rita," the Red Ranger said, as the pair of them warily circled each other, tension thickening the air between them.
"She's my Empress," he said, throttling down the giddy feeling that always seemed to be at the back of his mind, whenever he confronted the Power Rangers.
"She's evil!" the Red Ranger snapped.
"Says you," Tommy said, not bothering to stop himself from rolling his eyes; it wasn't as though the Red Ranger could see his expression anyway.
Though his response did seem to confuse the Red Ranger, which was interesting. Not enough to keep Tommy from pressing the attack again, but something to remember for later, at least.
