Freedom Fighter
"Hey, Doc, you really think you can make that thing work?"
"We need to make it work if we're ever gonna bring hope back to this darkened world."
Dark Arrow
I shot arrows at the Freedom Fighters.
I fought with the Freedom Fighters.
"You're the best they could send?"
"Funny. I was gonna say the same thing." The Vigilante replied.
He blocked my arrow with a shield.
The Vigilante cracked his neck.
We started fighting.
I kicked him on the ground.
I pinned the Vigilante to a truck.
I had my bow at his neck.
I brought a knife out.
The Vigilante was holding me back from stabbing him.
He groaned as I stabbed him.
I pulled it out.
I threw the Vigilante on his back on the ground.
I kicked him in the head.
The Vigilante groaned as I stepped on his gut.
He panted.
"There are more like me. And one day, they will free this world."
"That day may come but you won't be here to see it. That flag died a long time ago."
"Well, it still means something."
I loaded an arrow into my bow.
"Yeah. It's a bull's-eye."
I shot the Vigilante in the heart.
I walked into their hideout.
"With this, our reign will last for eternity." I said, referring to the temporal gateway.
Barry
The siren wailed.
"Barry, we have a major problem." It was Iris over comms.
"Yep. Fighting it right now."
"No, no. It's about our Wedding."
The creature growled as he had me in his hand.
I grunted.
"This is not the best time."
He threw me through a building's window.
I yelled as I jumped on the creature's back.
"Well, the caterers need a final count tomorrow morning and not everyone has RSVP'd yet."
I knocked him out.
"Who hasn't RSVP'd?"
Oliver
I was grunting as I fought ninjas.
"Hey, Oliver, we gotta talk. Earth to Oliver." Felicity told me over comms.
There was crashing as I threw a ninja on the table.
All of them grunted as I was fighting them.
"I'm a little busy right now."
I punched a ninja in the face.
"Well, it's not like you're dealing with Damien Darhk. I mean, these are just some ninjas."
"If you were here, you might have a little more respect,"
I shot an arrow at one of them, pinning him to the wall.
"For "just some ninjas."
"Okay. This is serious. Barry and Iris need to know if we're going to their Wedding."
I kneed one in the face.
I punched one in the gut.
"Of course we're going."
"Yes. Okay. So, I'll RSVP yes, then?"
I shot an arrow at one of the ninjas.
"Barring further ninjas."
"Perfect."
Felicity
I put a check on the RSVP card.
Sara
We were in England 1183 AD.
A horse neighed.
"Please, sir. Alms for the poor?" Marty portrayed.
"Out of the way, old man. Royal business in Nottingham. It'll be your neck if we're late."
"It's Robin Hood!"
I caught a flaming arrow.
"Not quite."
I threw it at one of the guards.
Rory lit their wagon on fire.
"Oh, dear." Marty commented.
"Hey, guys. Did we RSVP for Iris and Barry's Wedding?" I questioned.
"We definitely did not." Jax answered.
"Then that's a serious breach of courtesy." Marty pointed out.
"Weddings are the worst." Rory commented.
The Waverider appeared.
"Alright, team, let's go! We got a Wedding to prepare for!" Marty instructed.
"Let's go."
Jax, Rory, Marty, and me boarded the Waverider.
Kara
"Wrong answer. When I tell you to get someone on the phone, that doesn't mean five minutes. That means right now. I don't care if they're busy, you make it happen. Otherwise, you're not gonna be able to afford a phone."
I slammed a Dominator into the roof of a car.
"My car!"
Alex
"I'm scrambling a strike team."
"There's no time. She's on her own." J'onn told me.
"Supergirl, identify the threat so we can help you fight it." He told Kara.
"Whatever it is, it came out of deep orbit and it is mad." Winn informed.
"So, it's Alien?" J'onn questioned.
"Well, it's definitely not NASA."
"Is it Czarnian?" I questioned.
"Or Hellgrammite." He suggested.
Kara
I grunted, punching the Dominator across the street.
I panted.
Alex
"Dominator." Kara answered.
Kara
The Dominator growled.
I cracked my knuckles.
He roared.
The Dominator ran at me.
I grunted as I punched him in the jaw.
The Dominator landed on the ground.
"These guys are so last year."
I walked over there when he lifted his head.
I kicked the Dominator in the head, knocking him out.
I flew away.
Alex
Mon-El walked in the control room.
"I heard there was a fight."
I turned around.
"Is Kara okay?" He questioned.
"She's fine. She's Supergirl." I answered.
I walked pass Mon-El.
Kara
Alex and me were sitting on my couch.
"So, Mon-El just showed up like nothing was wrong?" I questioned.
"I think he was just trying to make things seem normal." She answered.
"Normal?" I inquired.
"The man I love and thought was dead is alive. And every night I'd make up all these scanrios of how I'd see him again and now he's actually here, but guess what? He's married."
Alex sighed.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be complaining. I know you're still dealing with the pain of Maggie."
"At least, we have each other. And misery loves company."
She wrapped her arm around my shoulders.
"God. That's depressing."
"Mmm-hmm. Yep."
Alex sat up.
"And on that note, I'm gonna get another drink."
She finished her glass of Wine.
Alex
I poured more Wine into my Wine glass.
Kara
"Hey."
I looked up.
"What's this?"
Alex was holding up the invitation to Barry and Iris' Wedding.
"Oh. Wedding invitation."
"Barry Allen." As in, wiat, The Flash, Barry Allen?" She questioned.
"The one and only."
I placed my Wine glass on the Coffee table.
"Oh. When is it?"
"Tomorrow, I guess."
"Are you going?"
"Do I look like the kind of person that's in the mood to go to a Wedding?"
Alex joined me on the couch.
"Besides, I'm not the only one on that invitation."
"You're right. This is not a time for us to go out or have any fun. This is our time to wallow, to drown our sorrows, and put on breakup weight."
She took a sip of her Wine.
"No."
"I was just kidding. I know that you're incapable of putting on weight. Which I totally resent."
"I mean, we are not going to just sit here and wallow."
I took the blanket off.
"We are going to get ourselves out of this funk and off of this couch,"
I got off the couch.
"And we're going to get our mojo back."
"What? Wait. What are we doing?" Alex questioned.
I opened a breach with the extrapolator.
"We're going to that Wedding."
