The sun on the planet had just risen, the time was around six in the morning earth time, and Shiro had just woken up. He quietly made his way to the kitchen where he usually would meet Hunk making breakfast, but this morning something was off. As Shiro was on his way to the kitchen he was met by shouts and yells, all the way from the hallway where he was walking. He immediately thought an intruder had entered the castle, carefully speeding up his pace but as he got into the kitchen, he was instead met by all the paladins fighting with each other. Hunk seeming to be the cause of the fight had Pidge and Lance on top of himself and Keith... He was just watching by the sidelines, like always he didn't get involved in fights this pointless.

Shiro sighed in frustration and went over to the trio to end the fight, pulling up Lance and Pidge in each of his arms swiftly off of Hunk. The yellow paladin awkwardly got up and made his way to the table, then Shiro nudged Lance and Pidge along with him so they would go sit down. Keith followed Shiro to their side of the table, then as they were all sitting down Shiro finally addressed the situation.

" What the quiznak did I just witness?! " Shiro questioned, patiently waiting for an explanation for their idiotic behavior. " Well... Go on, explain yourself. "

" Apparently my attempt at making breakfast wasn't up to Pidge and Lance's standards... They started complaining and so I kinda...snapped. " Hunk mumbled. Shiro sighed, he could not believe the two paladins had the audacity to complain, and Hunk out of all people to actually fight back for once. This wasn't like any of their usual behaviors.

" This is unacceptable, you are paladins of Voltron for goodness sake. You can at least try and act like it! " Shiro snapped. " Start by apologizing, then eat up your breakfast... And I mean all of it because Hunk tried and your guys are not grateful, so the least you can do is eat it up even if it's not 'up to your standards'. "

The last part he said in a more frustrated tone, so the team figured he was very disappointed in them.

" Sorry Hunk, we promise to not complain anymore, it's just the food on this planet tastes pretty weird, but of course, that's not your fault so... We're sorry... " Pidge apologized, slowly taking a new bite of the food. The others proceeded to do the same, all except Keith who just poked at his food in silence but nobody mentioned it because they knew Keith just was like that in the morning. When they all were finished, the argument was gone with the food.

" See that wasn't so bad now was it? " Shiro chuckled, standing up to finally get some things done for the day. He left the team and headed to the castle's bridge to check over a few things for the coalition.

" Huh, that's weird... "

Some of the information on the panels did not seem to be correct. Shiro called Pidge to come to double-check the information as well, and she too found it a bit strange.

" Someone must have typed this incorrectly, give me five minutes, I'll fix it easily. " Pidge said, already hovering over the panels to fix it. " There we go, now everything should be as it should! " She said. Shiro checked the information over again and saw that it was back to normal.

" I need to go fix some things with Hunk now but feel free to call me if anything else is wrong! " Pidge smiled, leaving Shiro alone on the bridge. Moments after the green paladin had left, the hailing frequency started glitching and soon Kolivan popped up on the screen.

" Kolivan? Is there something we can help you or the Blades with? " Shiro asked, quite surprised by the sudden call. Kolivan cleared his throat and looked the black paladin in the eyes before speaking.

" No Shiro there's nothing you need to help us with here today... But we do have a sort of event here that happens on occasion and I was wondering if Keith is free for the day to come to the Blades HQ. " Kolivan asked, pausing a moment. " It's pretty much obligatory for him since he's a Blade. "

The black paladin got intrigued, so he gestured for Kolivan to explain more.

" Yes well... Once in a while, the Blade orders all galrans for a sort of checkup, to check everyone is fit for the missions we send them on. Basically, since Keith is both half galran and a part of the Blade I was just wondering if he could come here for the check-up. " Kolivan asked. Shiro pondered for a moment and figured it wouldn't be so bad if Keith had a checkup, it was beneficial for both the Voltron team, Shiro and Kolivan to know the red paladin was healthy and in good shape, so why not?

" Yeah, I guess he could come over for this...checkup. " Shiro agreed. " Do you mind if I come along aswell so we can go over the stuff for the coalition meanwhile? "

Kolivan nodded, ending the call shortly after. Shiro not wanting to waste his time, packed his stuff up and made his way to speak with Keith about Kolivan's proposal. Shiro entered the lounge and quickly spotted Keith, Lance and Coran chatting away on the sofas. The black paladin quietly made his way over to Keith, whereas now he would have to lie in order to get Keith to follow him. He would not willingly come with Shiro to the HQ if he knew he was gonna get poked and prodded.

" Keith, Kolivan asked me to come to the Blades HQ to discuss the coalition plans in detail, do you maybe want to come with me? " Shiro asked cautiously, hoping this would intrigue the red paladin. Keith seemed to ponder about it for a moment before finally standing up. Shiro sighed in relief, he didn't need to worry, he could see Keith was gonna follow him. The two of them quietly made their way out of the lounge and down to the hangars. Shiro let Keith enter the black lion first, and he quietly followed behind, practically shooing the raven further into the cockpit.

" So why am I coming with you again? I'm not that involved in the coalition plans since they aren't finalized yet. " Keith questioned. Shiro noticed that the raven didn't sit down right away and was getting quite suspicious so he gently maneuvered the red paladin to sit down, doing the same thing himself moments later.

" Well moral support I guess, or if you want to hang out with Kolivan a bit... You haven't seen him and the other Blades for quite some time since you took your break. " Shiro said, starting the black lion's engine up. Before Keith could say anything about it, the black lion lifted off from the hangar grounds and started its course to the Blade of Marmora's HQ.

As they arrived at the headquarters the two paladins could see the whole Blade was there for the checkup and it made Shiro worry Keith would find it strange, and start questioning him about it. Shiro slowly landed the black lion and the two of them made their way out to greet Kolivan and a few other galrans by the landing port.

" Shiro... Glad you two could make it for the briefing! " Kolivan greeted, quickly getting in between Shiro and Keith. The red paladin awkwardly stepped away to give Shiro and Kolivan space to discuss whatever they needed, so he went to sit down on a nearby bench until they were done. He could see the two of them discuss something and figured it was about the coalition, which was the reason Shiro was called to the Blades HQ in the first place.

" So if you just follow Thace and the others you'll arrive at the debriefing room, meanwhile I'll take Keith to the infirmary for the checkup. " Kolivan said. Right before he was gonna turn around Shiro grabbed his arm, meeting the older galrans gaze.

" Keep in mind Keith might struggle with a few things, just be aware. If it becomes a problem you can do what you have to, or just call me and I'll deal with it. " Shiro said. Kolivan nodded and finally, the two went their separate ways. Kolivan made his way and gestured for Keith to follow him.

" Why are there so many Blades here today, they can't all be here for the coalition debriefing right? " Keith asked, slowly following behind Kolivan. He proceeded by putting his arm on Keith's shoulders, then continued leading him to the infirmary in silence.

After two or so minutes they arrived at the infirmary and Kolivan brought Keith inside before finally explaining the real reason he was brought back to the Blades.

" So Keith you're probably really confused right now, I can totally understand that. The reason all the Blades are here today is that everyone is in need of their annual checkup. " Kolivan explained. Keith just stood and stared at him in confusion.

" And what the heck does that have to do with me? " Keith asked, taking a few odd steps away from Kolivan where he was standing. Kolivan just proceeded to walk over to the desk in the room and sat down, gesturing for Keith to also sit down which he obviously didn't at first.

" I asked you, what the heck does this have to do with me?! " Keith asked, this time more aggressively. He didn't like the idea that he had been tricked to come here and let this happen to him. Kolivan gestured for the red paladin to calm down so he could explain.

" First of all, you are aware that you are a part of the Blade so you can figure out that this checkup is obligatory for you as well. " Kolivan started explaining.

" Then the other thing is that you are a halfbreed which obviously makes me worried for your galran health too. " Keith glared in annoyance at the older galran for a few moments, then finally went to sit down since he figured Kolivan, Shiro and the rest of the Blade probably wouldn't let him skip this just because he didn't want to do it.

" This is just gonna be a waste of time that you could spend doing more important things... " Keith cursed, crossing his arms over his chest in frustration. Kolivan noticed that Keith was already starting to protest, so he would have to be cautious about his next moves.

" Don't worry Keith it's not gonna take that long, if you just cooperate this will only take an hour at most. " Kolivan said, grabbing a notepad and pen from the desk drawer. " Let's just start simple alright. Start by telling me your height and weight. " Kolivan ordered, lifting the pen to take notes.

" I don't know, I haven't checked those things since we left earth, and it's been a while so I...literally have no idea. " Keith mumbled. He could always give Kolivan an estimation if he had to. The older galran just looked Keith up and down, then proceeded to stand up.

" I need numbers Keith, so if you don't know we'll just have to check. Come on. " Kolivan ordered, and so Keith was forced to follow the older galran. He was told to stand on a scale and wait a few seconds until it finally beeped, showing galran numbers that Keith couldn't understand.

" Well I don't know how much a human is supposed to weigh but in galran standards this is fine. Now come over here so we can measure you as well. " Kolivan ordered, gesturing for Keith to come and stand by a pole by the wall.

" Stand still, don't move or the numbers won't be accurate. " Kolivan explained, aligning Keith's body against the pole. Suddenly he felt the pole move behind him and before he could react the pole folded and gently landed on top of his head.

" I'm guessing this is an average length for a human but by galran averages, you are pretty short... " Kolivan looked at the numbers in confusion, then he smiled amusingly. "It doesn't matter so much, it might even be pretty beneficial for the missions because you'll be more agile compared to the rest of us. " Kolivan chuckled, proceeding to write down the numbers on his papers.

" Last time I checked I was the tallest in my class... " Keith muttered but quickly stopped himself. Kolivan wouldn't care as this was just about his galran side. He would just have to accept that was how the other Blades would see him.

" Anyway, let us move on. Would you mind taking your jacket off so I can listen to your lungs? " Kolivan asked, grabbing something that looked like a stethoscope. Keith awkwardly proceeded to take his jacket off, and let Kolivan place the metal piece on his chest. He listened first in the front, then made his way to listen to the back of Keith's chest.

" Is it normal for humans to take this many breaths every minute? " Kolivan suddenly asked, Keith nodded in response. " A full-blood galran only takes around five breaths per minute, so your twenty breaths per minute seems pretty odd to me... " Kolivan explained, finally putting the stethoscope away so he could move on to the next thing.

" Whoa, what the heck is that-?! " Keith questioned, immediately backing away as he saw Kolivan had pulled out a new device. It looked like an otoscope but it was deformed and had a claw at the end of it.

" I'm gonna use this to look in your ears, don't worry it's not gonna hurt. " Kolivan explained, approaching Keith where he sat. Keith on the other hand was not comfortable with this and brought his hands up to cover his ears.

" Keith I need to check your ears, what's the problem? " Kolivan asked, surprised by Keith's sudden outburst.

" Are you crazy, why the heck is there a tiny claw at the end of it?! " Keith questioned, pointing to the claw on the otoscope. Kolivan just looked at it and couldn't comprehend why it was so weird, there's always a claw at the end.

" The claw is there to get the ear fluff out of the way, as well as expand the ear canal so it's easier to get a clear view, I thought that was obvious. " Kolivan explained. Keith slowly put his hands down again and just stared at the older galran in shock.

" What?! You can clearly see that I don't have ear fluff. Plus if you put that in my ears I swear it's gonna tear my ear canal apart or something! " Keith stated. Kolivan looked at the red paladin in annoyance and decided he could handle this struggling situation without Shiro.

" It's not gonna hurt you Keith, I'll be careful. " Kolivan said, bringing the otoscope back to Keith's ears. The red paladin sat stiffly, hoping the older galran knew what he was doing. Kolivan brought the small claw up to Keith's ears and checked both of them, not finding anything wrong. On the other hand, he did notice Keith's ears looked a bit different from the last time they met, and he figured they were gonna modify a bit due to his galran DNA, which would be interesting to see.

" I just noticed this but I think due to your galran DNA your ears look like they are gonna modify a tiny bit over the next few months. I think the same thing goes for a few other things that we'll check soon. " Kolivan explained. Keith brought his hand up to his ear, suddenly feeling the tip of his ear didn't feel like it should... They felt as if they were starting to become pointy?

" Don't worry this should all be normal considering your galran heritage. " Kolivan explained. " Now would you mind letting me check your nose as well? ". Keith nodded and awkwardly tilted his head back to let the older galran check. As Kolivan didn't find anything wrong he finally put the otoscope away and Keith felt a little relieved they got this part over with. Now he was just worried about whatever came next...

" Now you've got a choice what we'll do next... Either I call the Blades oral hygenist to come and check your canines- " Kolivan wasn't allowed to finish his sentence.

" MY WHAT?! " Keith blurted out, standing up from the chair. Kolivan went over to him and forced him to sit down again before continuing.

"That's what we're gonna find out, if you will get canines or not. Now, will you let me call the oral hygienist to come here and check? " Kolivan asked, not getting an immediate response from the red paladin. " Keith...You didn't want this to take so long, come on answer me. " Kolivan asked, starting to become a tiny bit frustrated.

" Fine, let them come but I can swear to you I- "

" You can come in Marlo! " Kolivan suddenly said, then moments later a male galran entered the infirmary. Keith had to hold back his sudden anger since apparently, Kolivan had the oral hygienist ready outside the door, despite what he would have said.

" Hello! You must be Keith, the halfbreed Kolivan told me about. " Marlo said, reaching out his hand towards the red paladin. Keith awkwardly stood up and greeted the galran, then he sat down again. He saw Marlo get his supplies ready, placing out a few instruments on the gurney further down the room.

" There we go I'm done, Keith can you come over here and lie down? " Marlo suddenly asked, patting the gurney. Keith stood up from where he sat and made his way to the gurney, awkwardly laying down. He let Marlo adjust his head as needed but when it was finally time for the galran to check in his mouth, he suddenly felt really awkward and clenched his jaw shut.

" Keith... Haven't you done something like this back on earth? Just open your mouth and let me check if your gonna get canines or not. " Marlo ordered. " It will only take a few minutes. "

Keith sighed and opened his mouth a tiny bit, but apparently, that wasn't enough and without warning, Marlo grabbed his jaw and pried it open as much as he needed, a bit more forcefully than necessary.

" There we go... Well, this was definitely not what I was expecting... You have a very different set of teeth compared to galrans... " Marlo mumbled, making Keith a bit worried. Hopefully, the galran wouldn't start suggesting he had to pull his teeth out.

" Well to me it looks like you will be getting your canines, but not for a long time. " Marlo chuckled. " If you feel here where I'm pressing, these are the two teeth that will fall out in a year or two and be replaced with your canines. " Marlo explained, pressing down on two of Keith's already existing teeth. The pressure of his fingers was uncomfortable but Keith did his best not to hint he was uncomfortable, and just let the galran finish checking his teeth in silence. After a few minutes of poking and prodding in his mouth, Marlo seemed finished and finally started packing up his stuff.

" I'm happy to announce that there's nothing wrong with your teeth. Your canines will come in a year or two, and I might want to suggest you be careful not to bite with those teeth, they are quite sensitive." Marlo explained. Keith nodded and quietly thanked the galran for taking his time to meet with him. Then finally Kolivan showed him out and came back to Keith where he was awkwardly sitting on the gurney.

"What's the average temperature for a human? " Kolivan asked, scavenging around the room trying to find a thermometer.

" I would say like...Around 36 to 37.5(*98 F*) celcius, why are you asking? " Keith questioned, turning his attention to Kolivan as the galran just found what he had been searching for.

" Open up. " He ordered, placing the thermometer under Keith's tongue and then waited for a few seconds before taking it out again, checking the result.

" You have a good temperature for a human but if you were a full-blooded galran you would be in a bad shape right now... We are warm-blooded as you've noticed by the climate on this planet, and right now you are freezing according to this thermometer. " Kolivan explained, showing Keith the numbers.

" I can't translate that but if it's like I said then I'm good. " Keith mumbled, seeing how confused Kolivan suddenly looked.

" In human terms, I think this is around 36.5 Celcius, is that okay? " Kolivan asked. " Because like I said, it's really cold for a full-blooded galran. " Keith nodded and saw Kolivans distressed face become less...distressed.

" Alright, good to know that you have a healthy temperature... " Kolivan chuckled. " Now Keith, there are a few more things left on the schedule, so for now I would like you to lie back down on the gurney and pull up your shirt. " Kolivan ordered. Keith on the other hand just sat there not doing what he'd been told.

" Keith, I'm just gonna check your stomach for...obstructions and stuff like that. " Kolivan explained. The raven sighed and lied down on the gurney again, pulling his shirt up a tiny bit. Kolivan without hesitation grabbed Keith's shirt and pulled it up more, exposing his pale stomach.

" HEY! " Keith interjected, pulling his shirt down in embarrassment. " You said you just needed my stomach, not my whole upper body! " Keith snapped, clenching onto his shirt as if his life depended on it. Kolivan just sighed and glared at the red paladin where he was laying under him.

" We are never gonna get done with this if you keep arguing with me. " Kolivan mumbled, gently grabbing the ravens shirt again. This time Keith let him pull it up a bit more than last time but when it was too much he grabbed his shirt in protest.

" Alright that's far enough, I get it... " Kolivan chuckled, throwing his hands up in defense. Keith put his arms awkwardly to his sides and let the galran press on his stomach, and it didn't take long before Kolivan found something odd.

" You are eating healthy right? " Kolivan asked. Keith slowly nodded but the galran wasn't really convinced. " You know I just felt your stomach... Care to explain to me what I just felt? " Keith rolled his eyes and just looked away in defeat... Of course, Kolivan would find out about it sooner or later, what was he expecting?

" I... kinda have issues keeping food down at the moment. " Keith said quietly, still not looking Kolivan in the eyes. The galran hovering over him just sighed and went to grab something for the raven to eat, along with some medicine.

" Take the medicine first, then eat this." Kolivan said, handing Keith a pill and a galran-looking fruit or whatever it was. Keith swallowed the pill in one go, then proceeded to eat the fruit slowly in case he needed to throw it up. After a few minutes, he was able to finish the fruit and Kolivan told him to sit and wait for a few minutes just in case, but nothing happened so the galran felt pleased he solved Keith's little issue.

" The reason you're not able to keep food down at the moment is that your body is undergoing some galran transformations, but don't worry it's only gonna last a few weeks so meanwhile just take a pill with every meal and you'll be good to go. " Kolivan explained, handing Keith a bottle with the remaining pills. The raven put the bottle aside together with his jacket and slowly made his way back to Kolivan by the gurney.

" So... What's next on your list? " Keith asked suspiciously. Kolivan went over and put on a new pair of gloves which immediately made the raven tense up.

" I'm not gonna like this next part am I? " Keith asked, getting a nod from the galran in response.

" Well... This next part is really simple, it might just be kind of weird for...you. " Kolivan explained, motioning for the raven to lie down on the gurney again. " I need to check your tailbone to see if you'll develop a tail or not. " Kolivan explained, seeing the raven's reaction wasn't as he'd hoped.

" YOU WHAT? " Keith snapped, aggressively sitting up in protest. " You are not getting your hand anywhere near my backside! " Kolivan sighed and thought back to Shiro's offer from earlier. He considered calling the black paladin for help since he knew from here on out, the raven wouldn't be very cooperative.

" Keith, I just need to check your lower backside, your tailbone starts there so you just need to pull your shirt up a bit. " Kolivan explained. He turned around and pulled his own shirt up to show his tailbone, even though he didn't have a tail himself.

" No, I'm done with this now. I'm going back to the black lion. " Keith protested, jumping off the gurney and started heading out of the infirmary. Kolivan sighed and secretly sent a message to get Shiro and backup to arrive, otherwise, they would never get the checkup done. The galran let Keith head out to not arise suspicion about him calling backup and quietly followed the raven back to the black lion. Before the two of them had gotten even halfway to the lion the backup arrived, making Kolivan feel a bit more at ease.

" Shiro? You are supposed to be at the debriefing, why are you here?! " Keith stopped walking and instead started backing away from the black paladin. " You called him because of me!? " Keith asked, now finally realizing why Shiro and the two galrans were walking toward him.

" Yes, he called me because you are not cooperating! I didn't think you would cause trouble this time and yet here you are, wandering about like a child! " Shiro complained. " Alright, do what you have to... " Shiro gestured for the galrans to approach Keith. The raven quickly started running away to avoid the galrans that were now chasing him through the HQ.

" KEITH, YOU'RE MAKING THIS HARDER FOR YOURSELF BY RUNNING! " Shiro yelled. The situation Keith had put himself in wasn't great, but he had to try and get away from the three people chasing him. Keith knew most of the shortcuts throughout the building, knowing one room he could lock himself in until they would stop chasing him. He ran through the long hallways, turning corners left and right like it was no big deal. As he ran for his life he saw many of his galran teammates stare at him as he ran by, probably wondering what the heck was going on.

" Hurry, if he gets to his own room we'll never get him back to the infirmary! " Kolivan yelled over the comms, making the three chasing Keith speed up even more. Before Keith had a chance to react to the sudden speed of the three pursuers, he was tackled onto the floor by one of the galrans.

" GET OFF ME! " Keith yelled, struggling to get the galrans weight off himself. To no avail, he was soon restrained and hoisted up in the galrans arms. The raven continued wriggling all the way to the infirmary where Kolivan patiently was waiting. Keith was placed down on the gurney once again, this time being restrained so he couldn't move until the checkup was done.

" You two can leave now. " Kolivan ordered, gesturing for the two galrans to leave the infirmary. " Shiro do you want to stay here or go back to the debriefing room? I'll be fine on my own now since Keith here...is restrained. " Kolivan asked, looking down on the raven in satisfaction.

"You'll be fine on your own... Keith here is gonna learn his lesson to not disobey orders, and if he's still causing trouble then ill deal with him when we're back at the castle... " Shiro said, hovering over Keith to force the raven's eye contact with him. Satisfied with a growl in response, Shiro made his way back to the debriefing room so Kolivan could finish what he had to.

" Alright, where were we... Oh yeah, I was gonna check your tailbone that you apparently are so terrified of. " Kolivan gloated, as Keith couldn't do anything to argue with him now that he was restrained. Kolivan gently flipped the raven to the side and pulled his shirt up exposing his backside. he was quite surprised when he felt along the raven's spine as he couldn't find the tailbone where it was supposed to be.

" Keith do humans even have tailbones, why can't I find yours? " Kolivan questioned, still feeling along the raven's spine in case he'd missed it the first time. Keith tensed in embarrassment and figured he could lie his way out of the embarrassment.

" Um... no, humans don't have tailbones... " Keith mumbled quietly. Just as he'd said this Kolivan had felt his whole spine twice and was about to give up when his hand suddenly stopped.

"You're lying to me now. It's further down is it, and that's why I can't feel it where it would be on a normal galran. " Kolivan said, grabbing the edge of his ravens pants and slowly started pulling them down. Keith couldn't do anything about what was happening and just stayed quiet, too embarrassed to utter a word. His dignity had been broken and at this point, he didn't care anymore, he just wanted to get this over with. Kolivan quickly noticed why the raven had been so against him checking his tailbone, as he soon realized where the tailbone was located. He sighed and ignored the thought, gently proceeding to lightly press on the tailbone. When Kolivan suddenly pressed down harder a muffled yelp escaped the red paladin, and the galran figured he hit a tender spot. As he felt more properly he felt a lump forming on the end of the tailbone, confirming that Keith would develop a small tail, about the time his fangs would grow in.

" I can confirm you're getting a small tail when your fangs grow in, isn't that exciting! " Kolivan grinned, pulling the ravens pants back up so the boy could stop pouting. Keith gave Kolivan a disgusted glance and was just about to argue when suddenly Shiro came into the infirmary.

" The debrief is over so now I can be here...and support. " Shiro said, sitting down in one of the nearby chairs. Keith rolled his eyes, he already knew Shiro was there to keep an eye on him even though he was restrained.

" Well now that I've checked your tailbone, we can finally move on to the last part of the checkup! " Kolivan said, getting Keith's hopes up for a slight second. It didn't last long as he figured the worst part was just about to arrive.

" What is...the last part? " Keith asked, turning his head to see what Kolivan was fiddling with. As Kolivan turned around he was holding a bunch of injections, probably made for preventing galran diseases and such.

" Well, this is gonna be interesting... " Shiro chuckled, already knowing the outcome of the scenario that was gonna happen in front of him.

" Can't we just call it a day here, seriously you don't need to give me that! " Keith squirmed, starting to wriggle on the gurney to get out of the restraints. Obviously, it didn't work and Kolivan didn't seem to care, as he took a hold of Keith's flesh on his arm to give him the first injection.

" Ow! " Keith flinched, feeling the pinch when the needle entered his arm. The first injection went rather quickly, but as for the second one Kolivan held the needle in him for longer.

" Take it out, for hell's sake it shouldn't take that long! " Keith snapped, frustratingly trying to pull away. Kolivan pulled the second needle out and then started preparing the third one, not caring about Keith who was panicking and wriggling around on the gurney under him.

" The third one goes in your leg, the fourth one in the other leg. " Kolivan explained, pulling the ravens pants down more this time to expose his upper leg muscle. Keith whined as Kolivan jabbed the third injection in, holding it for about the same amount of time as the last one. At this point, Keith was fed up but since he couldn't move he just had to lie there, getting stabbed with needles left and right. Kolivan prepared the last injection and quietly administered it, seeing how the raven winced at the pain.

" There we go, we're finally done... Now I'm gonna take the restraints off, but don't even think about leaving the room yet. " Kolivan ordered, pulling Keith's pants up before undoing the restraints holding the raven down to the gurney. As he was let free of the restraints Keith slowly made his way to grab his jacket in silence and then sat down next to Shiro, not looking at the black paladin because he knew he was in trouble.

" Well, there isn't really much I wanted to say other than to remember to take the medicine and that... " Kolivan paused, oddly glancing at Shiro so he heard what he had to say next. " When your fangs and tail start growing in, I want you to come back here to let me check so they are growing correctly. "Shiro's eyes widened in shock. The black paladin looked at Keith, then turned back to Kolivan for an explanation.

"It's gonna take some time but when he starts growing his tail and fangs, it's just a recommendation to let me check them over to avoid unnecessary complications... " Kolivan explained, seeing Shiro's expression soften i bit.

" Well if that's everything I think it's time we take our leave now... " Shiro said, standing up from his chair. " Thank you for doing this Kolivan, it means a lot that you care. " The two shook hands thanking Kolivan for his time even though there were a few problems.

" By the way before you leave Keith... When were you planning on coming back to the Blade? You said you needed a break but do you don't think it's time for you to come back now? " Kolivan asked.

" Give me another week, after this hell of a day I need a lot of rest if I'm ever setting my foot back here. " Keith snapped. Without another word, the red paladin started making his way back to the black lion and Shiro followed. Once back in the lion's cockpit Shiro finally burst out in anger and Keith didn't say anything, he knew what was coming for him.

" No training for a week, instead you will happily be doing everyone's chores including Allura's and Coran's. " Shiro said. Keith was just about to protest but remembered the situation he'd put himself in... The was literally no point in arguing, he'd done this to himself so he might as well just suck it up and do the chores...

" Alright... Let's just go home now. " Keith mumbled. Shiro finally calmed down from his ranting and sat in silence for a moment before starting up the black lion.

" You know what if you promise me when you need to go back to not cause problems I'll let you off the no training punishment... Can you promise me that? " Shiro asked, patiently waiting for an answer.

" Yeah, I promise... " Keith said, knowing that next time wouldn't be as bad. He wouldn't have a reason to misbehave unless Kolivan had other plans.

" I promise. " Keith repeated, hearing a relieved sigh from Shiro.

" But that totally depends... " Keith thought, closing his eyes for the rest of the way back to the castle.

THE END
