When Harry dies at the hands of Lord Voldemort at the age of 17, he wakes up in a completely white, empty room. He rises from the floor and turns around to see a single door. He decides to walk up to it to find out what's behind it but anxiously notices that he doesn't have a wand with him. As he cautiously begins to open the door, he sees a small wooden house surrounded by trees in the distance. He can even hear the birds chirping and feel the sun's rays on his skin. Having ascertained that there was no imminent danger and no one in the house, Harry came to a few conclusions:

1. His family is late coming to join him

2. A reward (or punishment) for having an afterlife of peace and solitude.

3. ... He's out of ideas.

Harry is certain he's dead; he doesn't really believe he can survive a second AK. What's more, he no longer feels any pain, hunger or fatigue. It's not as if he's an expert either. Sitting on the edge of the small river that ran alongside the dwelling, he hears footsteps approaching and his muscles tense. He doesn't dare turn.

"Hello, Mr. Potter! I didn't expect to see you again so soon. You're giving me a lot of headaches!" the stranger said with a falsely happy tone

Harry still wary of this person, turns himself to face this man.

"Uh, who are you? How do you know my name? Do you know where I am?"

"I know who you are because we've already met during your previous deaths in this life. For who I am, my name is Philip and I'm your reaper and you're in your personalized waiting room, because you're a being of prophecy.

"So I'm definitely dead! When do I get to see my parents, Sirius and Remus?" Harry said getting impatient.

"Not quite dead…" Philip respond

"What do you mean by "not quite dead"? We're either dead or we're not!"

Harry was seriously getting frustrated with this self-styled reaper. He thought seeing his family would be quicker than that.

"You see, Mr. Potter, since you're a being of prophecy, you haven't really completed it. You must return to the world of the living to fulfill your destiny." Philip explained with a dramatic tone.

"WHAT do you mean by THAT?! I only did what was expected of me, I walked willingly to my DEATH." Harry exclaimed offend that his sacrifice was in vain and putting emphasis on the word "willingly".

"No, Mr. Potter. You weren't supposed to die then but at a much older age," answer Harry's reaper.

"So, what are you sending me back to after Voldemort killed me?" Harry asked in defeat, already accepting his fate.

"Well, since you're one of my favorite customers, I've arranged for you to have your soul returned to your 11-year-old body." Philip the reaper said enthusiastically to Harry.

While Harry ponders the implications, he'll be able to save Cedric, Sirius, Fred, Remus, Tonk, and many others. He assumes that, with the knowledge he possesses, the task should be easier. Philip was on the phone (you'd never think the afterlife has a phone), sounding happy about something. When the call ends, Philip announces "Well, Mr. Potter, it's your lucky day! My superiors have just told me that you won't be returning alone. These people will be joining us in a moment."

"Who is it?" Harry said, hoping it isn't Malfoy (even if was "good" at the end) or Snape.

"Someone called Granger and …" Philip answers.

Just then, Hermione Granger and Professor Minerva McGonagall appeared in front of Harry and his reaper Philip. Harry takes a few seconds to regain his composure and runs to Hermione to hug her. "Oh Hermione, I'm so sorry. If it's not too much for you, how did you die?" Harry said while tears run down his cheek.

"I'm glad to see you, Harry! and don't ever do anything stupid like that again. Seriously, you didn't have to get killed this way, we would have found another way to deal with the Horcrux inside your scar." Hermione said with her usual exasperated tone.

"Hello Mr. Potter, nice to see you in one piece," says Professor McGonagall.

"Oh! Sorry, Professor. Hello, Professor. I'm to see you here, I mean not I'm glad that you are dead." Harry answered nervously, he always gets weird when talking to his Head of house.

"Well, I suppose that's something" the professor replied

"So what happened to you? To both of you ?" Harry asked.

Hermione recounted that after Voldemort announced his death, Hermione went all crazy and cast a curse on Voldemort. This resulted in several spells being cast on her (and the battle resuming) and finally one was fatal (she doesn't know who). After that, Professor McGonagall was so furious and raged against the deadeaters, as Hermione's death have caused the cancellation of some spells. Apparently, being the last member of the House of Ross, the professor had proposed to Hermione, at the end of the triwizard tournament, to become her heir and the latter had accepted. It seems that someone found out and obliviated both women. The Ross family magic, therefore, warned the professor when her heir died. It was too much for her body so she died.

"Not that I'm not happy for you all, but we have things to do," Philip said impatiently, he is a busy reaper.

"First of all, this time Harry you should go to the Goblin to help you with the Horcruxes. Second of all, you should really ask for your parents' will. Miss Granger and Lady Ross-McGonagall, you should aid him the best you can. So good luck guys !" Philip add.
