Arthur/Robert Hogan entered the town of Colditz, Germany. He had to admit though, the town really looked nice. He rarely visited, though. He continued through the town, as he approached Stalag 14. His car drove through the gates of the Stalag. Finally, the driver stopped at the Kommandant's quarters, and Arthur would head inside. Minutes later, he walked over to that camp's cooler, after that Kommandant sent a guard with the Kaiser.
Entering it, Arthur would walk down the hallway. "The Kaiser is here to see you, Hochstetter." Hochstetter's eyes flew wide open. Germany had a Kaiser again? Hochstetter was rarely told any information about Germany these days, especially since he's serving time for all of the crimes he committed as a Gestapo Major. Hochstetter did know, however, how Hitler was violently overthrown, just before he, Hochstetter, was arrested.

The cell door opened, and Arthur entered. Hochstetter looked up, and saw Arthur/Robert Hogan. Hochstetter did not know that Hogan went by Arthur now, however. "Hogan? You're the Kaiser of Germany now?" Hochstetter was surprised. Why did the German people pick Hogan as their Emperor? He wondered.
"Yes, Wolfgang..I was forced. I did not want to be a monarch. I wanted to be President of the United States. Especially since I ended up reaching the rank of General. But the German people really wanted me as they apparently thought I was like "Napoleon", simply because I, Robert Edward Hogan, was Papa Bear as you correctly believed." Hogan stated to Hochstetter. "Yes, the German people chose me as their Kaiser, because..I was the most dangerous threat to Hitler, I guess."
Hochstetter had to process this. The German people hated the Fuhrer? It just didn't make sense to him. "Wow. So, what brings you to see me, your most hated enemy, Hogan?" Hochstetter asked. "My regnal name is Arthur, Wolfgang Hochstetter, and I came for advice on what I should do to quell these uprisings going on in Germany against my rule at the moment. I am attempting to assume absolute power in order to be a true monarch."
"Heh. I never thought I'd see the day where you'd come asking me for advice. After all of this time, though, Hogan? Well, I feel like you have to go again because I don't know, but something feels off. Look, if you want the uprisings to stop, you have to use force if they do not listen after you issue a proclamation calling for them to disperse. Give them no quarter at that point."

"Thank you, Wolfgang. Well, why would I have to get going again-" Arthur was about to ask when suddenly a guard came rushing in for Arthur. "Your MAJESTY! You've got to get to Stalag 13! Someone just called. They said a British madman came into camp and shot the Kommandant, they shot his daughter, and they shot the Kommandant's wife!" Arthur fell back for a second, shocked by this.
"I know who that madman is." Arthur/Robert Hogan said, getting angry. "Former Major Hochstetter had to deal with him. Rodney Crittendon. He wants vengeance against me. I got him demoted to Private for incompetence during the time in which he, alongside me, fought against Hochstetter, the Gestapo, and the Nazis, all from the POW camp of Stalag 13. I want Hochstetter moved by this camp's Kommandant to another Stalag, preferably Stalag 4, near Gluckenheim. I cannot risk Hochstetter's safety, even though he tried to take me down during World War II. In the meantime, we have to find Crittendon and eliminate the threat he is posing to the country. If Crittendon finds out about this advice I'm trying to get in terms of crushing the rebellions that are under his control, he'll try going after Hochstetter too."

"Hogan, you care about me? Why?" Hochstetter asked. "Because," Arthur started off replying to the former Gestapo major. "We're on the same side now, eh? Just like when you told Klink. I had a bug in that room after all, so that's how I know." Arthur left in a hurry towards Stalag 13 in a hurry, having been told what happened. In the meantime Hochstetter was immediately moved to another Stalag, for his safety.

NOVEMBER 7, 1948

Arthur hurried as fast as he could to the camp, having been told what had just happened at Stalag 13, three days before. The situation was really bad. Arthur arrived at the camp. Things didn't look too good due to what had happened involving Crittendon. Hurrying, he rushed over to the infirmary, genuinely desperate and extremely concerned.
Langenscheidt awaited Arthur's arrival at the door of the infirmary. He didn't have to, but he chose to anyway. "Karl Langenscheidt? What are you doing at the door of the infirmary?" Arthur had asked. "I chose to, sir. It's extremely bad. Shall we enter?" He asked. Arthur nodded. When Arthur went inside, what he saw was an extremely horrific sight. He went over to the blanket, which covered one body.

"Oh no…Lottie." He said as he pulled the blanket off of her face. Arthur was beginning to cry. He then walked over to Wilhelm Klink and his daughter, Anneliese. "Wilhelm? Anneliese?" He sobbed. Wilhelm opened his eyes. "Oh Hogan…err…Kaiser Arthur..you're here?" Klink asked him. "Yes..Wilhelm. I was seeking advice from someone when I was told of the tragedy that had occurred here at Stalag 13. Why did it happen?"

"Rodney Crittendon..he shot my wife..and then shot me and Anneliese..because he intends to kill anyone associated with you…including your wife, Hilda." Arthur/Robert Hogan was disgusted by this. "Crittendon is pure evil, Klink. He's doing all of this because I got him demoted to Private for incompetence. He has too much hatred. I know he's behind these rebellions rising up around Germany. I will have to unseal my tunnel and contact Britain again, if they even still use the radios."

"I..I see…A..arthur..m-make s-s-sure…you g-g-get…him…." Klink said, with a struggle, as time was running short. Kaiser Arthur would then ask the Kommandant something. "Wilhelm Klink, were you right in denying the knowledge of Hans Stofle and Major Kronman? Do you still consider them friends?" Arthur was curious. Klink, with a struggle, would reply to Hogan's words.

"Hans Stofle, I did, yes, but..he ended up angrily breaking off my friendship with him, because I was scared to the point I rejected my friendship in front of the Gestapo. As for Major Kronman…well the same reason, because you know how cruel the Geheime Staatspolizei were." Klink spoke to Arthur, although Klink kept coughing every few minutes or so as he was clearly in bad shape. "And what about General von Richter? He told you to never speak to him again. He said you caused their plane crash when you panicked- I should stop pressing you about this, Kommandant. You're ill, and I should discuss this another time if you do live." Arthur started asking him about Richter, but stopped himself.

"It's understandable..I didn't mean for the two of us to crash on that day in 1917. Well..I hope he will forgive me eventually…" Klink gasped. "Hogan..take care of Anneliese, will you? Wolfgang got a new job and will not be able to care for her because of how many hours he has to..work..p-p-pr-promise?"

Arthur nodded. "Thank you..H-H-Hogan….Farewell." Then, with those final words, Wilhelm Klink took his last breath and passed from this life to the next. Kommandant Wilhelm Klink, or General Klink, was no more. Arthur began heavily sobbing. Arthur went to check on Anneliese, after the medic covered Wilhelm's body. The medic signed when he checked Anneliese for breathing, or a pulse, rather. "Her pulse is weak, your majesty. I will..try to save her, but I'm not sure if I will be able..to. " Arthur was absolutely devastated. Walking outside, Arthur screamed in pure anger. "CRITTENDON!" Everyone could hear the pain in the Kaiser's voice.

"Langenscheidt, come with me to the empty Barracks 2. I need your help with something." Arthur painfully and tearfully said to him. The two went inside the empty Barracks 2. Arthur looked around, remembering the times he had in here. "These were good times, Karl, even though I was a POW, like everyone else." Arthur went over to the rising bed entrance, and reconnected the mechanism that opened it. He opened it, and there was a concrete wall down there. This had surprised Karl Langenscheidt. "I need a hammer. I'm going to have to reopen this tunnel in order to get to the radio room."

"You had a tunnel under the camp during the Second World War, Hogan?" Langenscheidt was surprised. Arthur nodded and gave a not so enthusiastic smile. "Yes..yes I did, Langenscheidt."
Arthur worked throughout the hour to get it reopened. In the meantime, he had former General Albert Burkhalter contacted, as well as Wolfgang Klink. Wolfgang was Klink's last surviving sibling, as their sister had died two years ago in an accident, in 1946. Their mother and grandfather had also passed. Finally, Arthur would break through the concrete wall and get in the mostly sealed off tunnel. It was dusty, but he cleaned it and made his way through.

Arthur sat down at the radio, after carefully dusting it off. "It's been a long time, friend." With the flip of the switch, he reactivated the radio, as power was now going to the flag pole again. With that, he put his headset back on, as Langenscheidt made his way down to the ladder again. He entered, and got a chance to see what Arthur/Robert Hogan did as Papa Bear in World War II, when it was going on.
"Papa Bear calling Goldilocks. Papa Bear calling Goldilocks." Arthur was saying on the radio to London. In the meantime, this was him trying to get in contact with them. He had to. He was going to have an arrest warrant issued for Rodney Crittendon. Finally, hope was coming through as he'd receive a response.

"Papa Bear! You're using the radio again? But why?" Air Marshal Woodhouse asked him over the radio. "If you can let the Prime Minister know, have the military start looking for Private Rodney Crittendon. Crittendon has murdered General Wilhelm Klink, Kommandant of Stalag 13, and his daughter, Anneliese Klink, and his wife, Lottie Burkhalter.. These are both attempts to harm me emotionally. He is very dangerous, and armed. He seeks vengeance upon me and my wife, Kaiserin Hilda, due to him being demoted due to incompetence, of course."

"But yeah, this is my final broadcast over the radio, for good. I am dismantling it right after we go off the air for the last time. Keep a lookout for Crittendon. He's most likely behind these uprisings in Germany against my rule. If the British government needs to speak to me further, they can phone me in Berlin."
"Of course, Papa Bear. Goldilocks over and out." Arthur would then shut down power to the radio, as it was the last time it was ever used. "So, Karl. You just heard me do what I had done as a POW during WW2, quite literally under all your feets, with the help of the prisoners in Barracks 2. I need Burkhalter over here, immediately, though. I'm going to start driving to the Schatze Toy Company soon.

"J-Jawohl, Herr Kaiser." Langenscheidt replied, hurrying up the ladder to get to the phone in the Kommandant's Quarters. In the meantime, Kaiser Arthur dismantled the radio, and then started unsealing the rest of the tunnel as he prepared to have it all filled in with dirt. Later that day, he was finished. Preparations for the funerals of both Kommandant Wilhelm Klink and Anneliese Klink began.
A few hours later, General Albert Burkhalter arrived. Burkhalter had retired from the army in 1947, after he was acquitted at Nuremburg. "Your majesty! Good to see you. So..you asked for me to come down?" Arthur then replied to Burkhalter. "Yes, sir..I did. It's not good news." He said, leading him to the infirmary. Opening the door, he moved aside and allowed Burkhalter to enter. Burkhalter's eyes widened in shock as the blanket was removed from Lottie's head, temporarily. "Th-that's Lottie! She's…dead? HOW did this happen? And Klink…he's also dead…"

"Do you remember Rodney Crittendon, Albert? He did all of these sick crimes against Lottie, her husband Wilhelm, and even his daughter, Anneliese." Burkhalter was shocked to the core. "You see, Albert, he wants to hurt me emotionally, so that he can move in on the kill against me. He wants to kill me and Kaiserin Hilda. This is another reason why I should never have become Kaiser. Anyways, the good part is that Anneliese is still living, at least for the time being. It is pure evil that Crittendon would try killing her."

Arthur would turn to Langenscheidt after explaining to a shocked Burkhalter what had happened. "Langenscheidt, get Burkhalter's wife on the phone immediately, as well as his sister, to inform them. Then, call an ambulance. After that, it is up to the Burkhalters what happens next. And while you are at it, call Wolfgang Klink, and inform him, while not upsetting him, and ask him to come to Stalag 13. I have to go somewhere."
Langenscheidt did what Kaiser Arthur commanded. "Just curious, Arthur..where exactly are you going?" Burkhalter asked. "I have to get to the Schatze Toy Company. I have to inform Hans Schultz what has happened." He said to him, as Arthur left camp. Meanwhile, Burkhalter headed after Langenscheidt, as he was going to talk to his wife and sister on the phone about what had happened.

Arthur would think in his own mind, "Why did I, Robert Hogan, have to accept this stupid offer by Claus von Stauffenberg, to become Kaiser? This was the WORST decision I ever made." Then suddenly, Arthur blurted out loud, "I shall abdicate as Kaiser, and proclaim a Republic of Germany." This caused the guard to stop driving. "K-Kaiser? You're going to abolish the monarchy?" Arthur was angered. "Yes, I am. I was forced into this stupid position of power. I am done being used by this country. I will run for the Presidency of the United States once I'm done with my work here."

The driver sighed and kept driving. Soon they arrived at the main headquarters of the Schatze Toy Company. Kaiser Arthur would then get out of the staff car, and then would walk up the stairs in order to go inside the headquarters. He had to go see Hans Schultz. He arrived at the receptionist's desk, which was in the lobby. "Ma'am," he started off, looking at her. She noticed him and immediately saluted him. "Your majesty-" He cut her off. "Don't call me that. Call me General Hogan. Germany's monarchy shall soon cease to exist once more. I'm going to abolish it..anyways, I'm here to see someone."
"Who would you like to see, Hogan?" The receptionist asked. "Hans Schultz," he started off, replying. "But don't give any hint that it is me who wants to see him." He stated, sternly. "Yes, I will, Kais- I mean, General Hogan." She replied as she buzzed Hans Schultz, the owner and president of the company.

Hans Schultz was, at the moment, working on paperwork, when his phone buzzed. He pressed the button. "Yes, Fraulein Anna? What is it?" Schultz wondered. "There's a man here to see you, Schultz. He has something important to discuss with you." She added. "Well, then send him up then, Fraulein Anna!" He beamed with delight. Anna then looked up at Arthur, or Hogan, as he preferred to be called. "Well, go ahead, Hogan. You may head upstairs." He nodded at her as he walked up the stairs, as he headed down the hallway towards Schultz's office. Several people saluted him. Hogan gave a half-hearted salute back.
He finally reached the door, and would then open it. Hans Schultz saw Kaiser Arthur, and beamed with delight. "Your majesty! It's so..good to see you!" Schultz was so excited he hugged Arthur. Arthur, however, was distraught. "Okay, Hans..just call me Hogan like you used to." He replied. "But, I am not here for good news." Schultz was given a card by Hogan. "Rodney Crittendon..has murdered Lottie Klink and Wilhelm Klink. Klink's daughter Anneliese, is still living, though I don't know how much longer she will live. I'm sorry..Hans…" Arthur began to break down in tears. "This is..WHAT happens…when I accept…a stupid royal position…LIKE THIS!" Schultz held Arthur, comforting him. Schultz was stunned by what he had just heard. Anneliese…in grave condition? Kommandant Klink…dead? Klink's beautiful wife Lottie…gone? This was a shock of tragedy that had happened. Schultz pondered how a seemingly normal manlike Rodney Crittendon could go and..do this.

"Ach du lieber..that is..horrible..Hogan..I'm sorry to hear..that happened. My goodness..not Anneliese.." Crittendon was willing to hurt a child? Arthur would then reply once more to Schultz. "Here is the place…where Wilhelm Klink's funeral is going to be, in a few days." Arthur said, as he began leaving the room. "Bye Hans."
And there it was, Arthur had met with Schultz. Now, Arthur was heading to Normandy, France, to meet with General LeBeau. In the meantime, the Kaiser's wife, Hilda, was currently at home, doing the dishes. She did not know, however, that someone was about to enter. The figure quietly stumbled into the house. She heard a thump. Hilda rushed out, and was horrified. Wolfgang Klink himself. He was heavily wounded.

"H-Hilda…hurry..you need to w…warn…A-Arthur…C-Crittendon..is heading to the U…United States..at this v-very m-moment…and…" Wolfgang was dying. The wounds on his body were evident of what had happened. Rodney Crittendon went after Wolfgang Klink. Anyone connected to the late Wilhelm Klink, his daughter Anneliese Klink, and Kaiser Arthur was being targeted.

As she hurried to the phone, she began dialing the number for the ambulance. She had to try and save Wolfgang, if it was even possible. In the meantime, Crittendon was on a boat heading to the U.S. He laughed. "Oh, I'd like to see the look on Arthur's face when I..eliminate his..parents. Arthur will pay for what he has done to me. I'm still Group Captain Crittendon in my eyes..and Hogan…hmph..just another stupid Colonel who I will not recognize as general."
Crittendon saw a man standing in front of him. Someone who was dead. Wilhelm Klink himself. "Crittendon..why? Why did you have to do this? Me and Anneliese did nothing to provoke you." He asked. Crittendon gave him a cold answer. "Because you, Hogan, Anneliese, and anyone connected to them are Nazis. Also..your brother Wolfgang should..or has joined you in death, by now." Then Crittendon threw a bucket of water at Klink, his spirit shaking his head and vanishing as the water hit the wall.
Crittendon chuckled. He did not care what had happened. All he desired was his revenge. Lady Valerie Stanford was sailing him to the United States. There, Crittendon could strike, and hurt Arthur even further. "Arthur will never catch me..I am going to succeed in my mission." Crittendon smiled.

Things were clearly looking bleaker the minute Crittendon remained free and unstoppable. Something had to be done before Crittendon hurt even more people.
