Saiyan Prime
"The scans show that your body is quite strong, maybe even stronger then Raions." Ratchet said, finishing his analysis of Arcee's new biological body. "Though it's hard to say for certain, when or how your powers will be unlocked."
Arcee now wore a single piece cat suit, without any sleeves or legs, with a pair of skinny jeans that hung on one of her hips, and a cropped long sleeved jacket that could zip up at the mid-forearms. Her hair was tied back in a braided rope, with a golden head band in her hair, and a pair of dog tags around her neck.
"Well, it make sense. I am older then my son, and he did make me Saiyan, Cybertronian, and Kryptonian Hybrid, similar to him." Arcee stated. "Speaking of which, I think it's about time you opened up the Ground Bridge and let him and Jack into the base."
"Of course." Ratchet said, before heading for the computer, and putting in the coordinates.
As the Ground Bridge opened up, Jack and Raion came through it, though Raion looked a whole lot different. His body looked like the perfect balance between muscular and lean, with his arms having sleeve tattoos of tribal markings, which Arcee and Ratchet recognized as a combination of Saiyan, Kryptonian, and Cybertronian glyphs, and the House of El crest made of metal, the size of a key chain charm, hanging around his neck on a chain, with dog tags behind it. Aside from his hair still being it's usual style, he looked like a human, old enough to attend high school. But at the moment, Raion and Jack seemed to be in a disagreement, as Miko and Raph came in behind them, looking annoyed.
"Seriously I cannot believe you did that." Jack said sounding annoyed.
"I wasn't the one who picked the location okay? Blame Agent Fowler for that, I had nothing to do with it." Raion stated, tossing his bag up to the second level platform, where a little recreational area had been set up for the humans, as well as Raion and Arcee, with his bag landing on the couch in front of the television.
"What's going on with those two?" Arcee asked, as Miko and Raph stopped next to her, while Jack and Raion continued arguing.
"Jack's a little annoyed that you and Raion moved into the house across the street from his." Raph stated. "Even though it was Fowler who picked the house, Jack is complaining about it and thinks Raion had a hand in choosing the house. For some reason, he and Raion haven't been getting along since Megatron's demise."
"He's also still a little peeved that you're no longer his, guardian, like Bee and Bulk are ours." Miko said.
"I made up for that with allowing him to use my motorcycle half whenever there isn't a battle going on, didn't I?" Arcee asked.
"You did, but Jack says it's not the same." Raph stated.
"Well he's gonna have to get used to it, I'm not gonna be living in his garage to watch over him anymore." Arcee stated, crossing her arms against her chest, making it pop. "Oh come on, damn these stupid things. What kind of use even are they at this ridiculous size?" She groaned.
"Mom, could you please tell Jack I'm not to blame for moving into the house across from his?" Raion asked.
"Oh, real mature turning to your mom for help. You just wanna rub it in my face that Arcee's no longer my partner, don't you?" Jack asked.
"What would be the point in that?" Raion asked. "You're still using her motorcycle body aren't you."
"Admit it, you found it weird that I was partnered with her before the whole Space Bridge incident, didn't you?" Jack stated.
"Of course I found it weird, that's my mom." Raion said. "But I put up with it, because it was Optimus's choice. The next time we get a new member added to the Autobots, I'm sure they'd be happy to partner up with you!" He exclaimed, shifting to his Cybertronian body, which was admittedly slightly taller then Jack.
"That could take years." Jack stated.
"Alright, enough bickering both of you." Arcee stated, seeing things were getting heated when Raion shifted to his Cybertronian form. "Now I don't know who started this conflict, but I'm putting an end to it, right now! You're upset we moved in across the street from you? Complain to Fowler. An' you don't be so quick to react to his complaints, or taunting, alright? You've been a member of Team Prime longer then he has, so show him how mature you really are. If he doesn't accept the explanation once you've given it, then just walk away." She questioned, addressing Jack, the Raion about their argument.
"Fine." Raion sighed, shifting back to his human form, before storming off. "I'm gonna work on my science project."
"Same here." Jack said. "I need to google how to put a motorcycle together. I'm so not getting it, and I've already built most of it."
"Probably the wrong way I'd bet." Raion said, before heading off for his workbench.
As the kids were working on their projects, Ratchet took notice of Optimus's downtrodden demeanor.
"Optimus, why so glum?" Ratchet questioned coming up to his companion. "This planet… All planets, are finally free from Megatron's tyranny."
"I do not disagree Ratchet." Optimus stated. "It's just, a small part of me wished it would have still been possible to change Megatrons mind, not extinguish his Spark."
"Optimus, his vileness was not slain by your hand." Ratchet said. "But by his own twisted arrogance."
"Mmmm." Optimus grumbled.
"I'm sorry." Ratchet said, realizing what he had said. "I know the two of you had quite a history."
"But the Megatron whom I once fought beside, perished eons ago." Optimus stated. "The day he chose to become, a Decepticon. The Decepticons may be in disarray, but they are not without leadership. An' though Starscream is no Megatron, he is far from predictable."
Before Ratchet could say anything to agree with him, the sound of an explosion going off, echoed through the base, putting them on high alert.
"Decepticons." Ratchet said in panic.
"No Decepticons here." Raion said, flying over to them. "It was just Raph. He accidentally used a dollop of Dark Energon that remained, in his model volcano, instead of vinegar. C'mon I'll show you."
"Sorry." Raph called out.
Optimus and Ratchet looked to one another, before they followed Raion to where the others were, as they'd been working on their projects, and as the teen hybrid had said, it was nothing but Raphs model volcano, with a whole lot of smoke rising from what used to be the model, as it melted.
"Oh man, and I worked all night on the actual volcano model." Raph sighed.
"Hold still Bulk." Miko said, drawing their attention to her and Bulkhead. "Jupiter needs its red spot." She stated, before dipping her brush in the pain, and raising it to put on the planet, before a drop fell on the grating floor bellow her feet. "Oops."
"What in the All Spark is going on here?" Ratchet questioned.
"We're working on our science fair projects, they're due tomorrow." Raion said. "Still can't believe I was enrolled into that school."
"Hey, Fowler had a point." Arcee stated, standing at Raions work station in the recreational area. "You need a proper education, plus it was a non-negotiable condition he'd set for allowing us to get the house we're in now."
"Arcee, could you help me real quick?" Jack asked from his work station.
"I'm a little busy helping Raion." Arcee called to him.
"Go ahead mom, I can handle to rest from here." Raion said, landing at his station.
"Alright." Arcee said, hopping down to the ground level to help Jack, before grabbing a tailpipe. "I think it needs one of these things."
"You were a motorcycle Arcee, can't you just build one of these?" Jack asked.
"You're a human Jack, could you build me a lower intestine if I were still a normal bot?" Arcee asked.
"Way to be racially assumptive." Raion called out, causing Jack to growl in annoyance.
"Raion, not another word out of you that'll annoy Jack." Arcee said.
"Fine." Raion stated, as he got back to work.
"What is it you're building for your project Raion?" Optimus asked.
"I'm working on something, that might just allow me to graduate from high school, by next week." Raion said, picking up a soldering iron and solder wire.
"You really don't like being there, huh?" Raph asked.
"I'd like to leave as soon as possible, is all I'm gonna say." Raion said.
"You can't work on these, projects here." Ratchet said. "You're making a mess."
"But the Science Fair's a big part of our grade." Raph said.
"Yeah, if Bulkhead doesn't help me finish this model of our solar system…"
"Oh?" Ratchet questioned, interrupting Miko. "An' what does Bulkhead know about your solar system, or Bumblebee of your volcanoes? Or…"
"Arcee of our motorcycles?" Jack asked, getting a grump from his former partner.
"Precisely, we're not Earthlings." Ratchet stated. "An' they're not scientists."
"They don't gotta be scientists to help us with science fair projects." Raion said.
"The Autobots are their guardians, Ratchet." Optimus said. "Would it hurt to learn more about Earth, by helping their young friends, with their school work?"
"Well, maybe our young friends should try learning more about Cybertron." Ratchet stated.
"Well, they can. But I'm pretty much done with my project now." Raion said, covering it in a metal dome. "I've been at that school for a week, and the Fair's been an upcoming thing for a couple months, from what I understand. An' thanks to the supplies on my Kryptonian Fortress of Solitude, I've put together what I'm planning on presenting for the school."
"There's talk that a college scout is gonna be their as well." Raph said. "Maybe you'll impress them enough to get into college."
"Don't wanna. Not gonna happen." Raion said, before turning on the television.
"Ooh, is that the latest episode of My Hero?" Miko asked, racing up to the television. "Scoot over, and pass the chips." She smiled sitting down next to him.
"Don't you still have to finish your project?" Raion asked.
"I just gotta let the pain dry, nothing else really needs to be done unless Bulkhead accidentally crushes it." Miko said, leaning back and into him.
This sudden act, caused Raion to freeze up, as he was not expecting Miko to get so close to him, nor to be so familiar with him.
"For a bot, your body's very soft and warm." Miko smiled.
"Uh-oh, looks like our little warrior's blushing." Bulkhead teased.
"Knock it off, Bulkhead." Raion hissed. "Don't make me tell, you know who, about you know what."
"My vocal processor is sealed." Bulk stated with a smirk.
"Tell who, what now?" Arcee asked, jumping from the ground to the rec area.
"Nothing." Bulkhead stated.
"Why don't you ever use the stairs when coming up or going down?" Miko asked.
"Jumping is good practice to help me get the feel of my flying abilities." Arcee stated.
"For when she unlocks them." Raion said. "So little is known about Kryptonian abilities under the light of a yellow sun, that all information is just considered to be nothing more then lore."
"Until Raion proved it was more then that." Bulkhead stated.
"Actually, Sai-El proved it." Raion stated.
"Sai-El?" Miko asked.
"Raion's Kryptonian mother." Arcee stated. "She did seem stronger then she should have been. I was feeling the headache from her punch for weeks after she hit me."
"It's safe to assume she had managed to unlock a few Kryptonian abilities, before the plague struck that town." Ratchet stated.
"Hey, no talking about that event in front of Raion, remember?" Arcee snapped, looking to Ratchet.
"Mom, it's fine." Raion said. "Miko, please tell me why you're still being so friendly with our boundaries?"
"What? I can't get a feel for a potential boyfriend?" Miko smiled.
"If you wanna go on a date, then we can go." Raion said. "Just give me some time to save up some money. I'm a big eater."
"I'll say." Jack called. "You practically emptied out the entire restaurant I work at, of our inventory with how much you ate yesterday. You and Arcee both."
"Saiyans are big eaters." Arcee said. "An' we've got Saiyan blood in our veins."
"Still should have slowed down a bit." Jack stated. "We're closed until we restock our supplies in two days."
"No need to shout Jack, we can hear you from here with our super hearing." Raion stated. "But he does make a good point. Maybe I can work something up at the Scout Ship that'll diminish our appetites to the point we only need to eat human portions for every meal."
"Good idea. We spent our entire government allowance on that food yesterday." Arcee stated. "We're gonna have to scrape by until the next pay comes in."
"Or not." Raion said, showing her a phone he'd pulled from his pocket. "Take a look at the account Fowler opened up in my name yesterday."
Arcee took the phone, and looked at it before her eyes widened.
"How do you have this much money? This is more then the government allowance we got." Arcee stated.
"I might have sold a few inventions of mine to the military, with some help from Fowler, for a small fee for his troubles." Raion said. "Don't worry, they're not Cybertronian, Kryptonian, or Saiyan devices. I just created a targeting system based of Saiyan Scouter technology, and after a little demonstration, it sold for quite a bit."
"Wow, that is a lot of zeroes." Miko said.
"This just further proves I don't belong in school." Raion said.
"Well if you can graduate thanks to your project, then that clause in the contract with Fowler will be null and void." Arcee stated.
"So, what was it you were saying about needing to save up the money for our date?" Miko asked.
"I probably should have specified that, I was talking about waiting for the money to be fully deposited into my account. Didn't think it would happen so fast though." Raion said.
"Guess we know, who the breadwinner of Arcee's family is." Jack said.
"I heard that." Arcee stated.
Raion chuckled, before he heard the sound of Bee's buzzing and got up. Walking over to the railing, he smiled when he saw Raph building a new volcano with newspapers.
"Buzzing."
"Uh-huh."
"Beeping."
"Uh-huh."
"Beeping, Buzzing, Blee." Bumblebee said, as he pulled out his blaster, and moved it around, as he reenacted his story.
"Really Bumblebee? Then how do you make warrior class?" Raph asked.
"I've been asking him the same thing for years." Raion said.
"Beep-beep, buzz, beep."
"But I've seen you in action, you're awesome." Raph said.
"Beep, beep, buzz."
"I second your opinion Raph." Optimus said, putting his hand on Bee's shoulder. "But Autobot life cycles are much longer, then those of humans. An' though it may be hard to believe, our young scout, still has much to experience."
"Then, would that be the same for Raion and Arcee?" Raph inquired.
"Good question, I'll let you know if I live for a few hundred years." Raion joked, before the computer sounded.
"Exposed Energon, and it's on the move." Ratchet said.
"An' since we ain't moving it, guess who must be." Bulkhead stated.
"Decepticons." Arcee said, as she and Miko came to Raions side.
"Without Megatron?" Miko asked.
"Unfortunately, Megatron's legacy will live on, as others rise to take his place." Optimus said.
"I've only met the bastard once, but Starscream is capable of leading the Decepticons, no doubt about it." Raion said. "If he's behind this, it can't be anything good. I volunteer for coming on the mission."
"Very well. Autobots, you have projects to work on." Optimus said, before looking to their medic. "Ratchet, Raion and I may require aid."
Ratchet looked to Optimus, before looking to Raph's newspaper volcano, as the young genius continued to reconstruct it.
"Science Fair is a big part of their grade." Ratchet said. "Perhaps I'm better suited to remain behind, and advise."
"Very well." Optimus said.
"You're just not wanting to run into another battle." Raion stated.
"Bumblebee, let us see about this, Energon in transit." Optimus stated.
"Mom, please make sure he doesn't touch my project, or do anything crazy with theirs." Raion said, hopping from the platform and landing on Optimus's shoulder.
"Will do kiddo." Arcee said. "Just promise to be safe out there, and come back alive."
"This will give me a chance to try out my new transformation." Raion smiled.
~Canyons~
The sound of metal, grinding against stone echoed through the air as Starscream and Soundwave pulled out a Stasis Unite from the stone wall, before stopping as they'd pulled it out of the rocks completely.
"Excellent work, Soundwave." Starscream said. "The cube."
Soundwave, as silent as ever, brought out a square container, and opened up revealing a cube of pure refined Energon. Pulling it from the container, Starscream placed the cube of power into what was the key hole for reawakening the sleeping warrior, and smiled when it went in the rest of the way on its own.
"The Energon infusion, it's working." Starscream gasped.
Off in the distance, a ways away from the Stasis Unite, a Ground Bridge opened up with Raion being the first to fly through, having changed to his Cybertronian body once more, accompanied by Bee and Optimus making their way through as they followed.
"I'm not liking the looks of things." Raion said as the Ground Bridge closed behind them.
"Beep, buzz, beep-bop."
"No Bumblebee, it does not." Optimus said, as they stayed vigilant. "You and Raion hold your positions, and await my command."
"Really?" Raion asked, landing on Bee's shoulder.
Starscream and Soundwave stepped back, as the Stasis Unit finished with the Energon infusion, and began to open up.
"Awaken warrior." Starscream began. "Rise and serve, your new master."
The doors to the Stasis Unite opened up, revealing a green and gold behemoth of a Cybertronian, his eyes glowing red as he stepped out of the Stasis Unite, and slammed his fists together above his head.
"Skyquake serves, only one master." The Decepticon said.
"Excellent." Starscream smirked. "Your loyalty and devotion, will set a fine example for the troops. No need to be timid Skyquake, you may bow."
"You fail to grasp my meaning." Skyquake said. "I am here on a mission, assigned to me by my one master, Megatron."
"Yes, him." Starscream said, sounding a bit annoyed. "Sadly Megatron is, no longer with us."
"Impossible." Skyquake stated.
"Why, is this so difficult, for everyone to accept?" Starscream questioned. "Skyquake. I located you, I awakened you, thus I, Lord Starscream, am now your master."
This just got Skyquake to growl at him, causing Starscream to move back a bit.
"It has been a while, Skyquake." Optimus said, butting into the situation.
"Optimus Prime." Skyquake said, pushing Starscream aside. "I haven't seen you since the battle of Technohar. Megatron ordered me to annihilate you."
"That was a long time ago." Optimus said.
"That may be Prime, but my orders still stand." Skyquake said.
"Is this ancient war still worth fighting? When so many comrades have been lost, and worlds destroyed?" Optimus questioned. "If you want to be a true leader Starscream, then stray from Megatrons path, and lead the Decepticons towards peace."
"I would be willing, to consider a truce, if you would be willing to bow before me." Starscream said smugly. "Optimus Prime."
"Again?" Skyquake questioned. "Bow to this." He declared, before he sent Starscream flying down through the canyon, with a swing of his arm.
"Glad you did that." Raion said, floating down in front of Optimus, drawing Skyquake's attention towards him. "Because I was sure as hell gonna if you weren't."
"An' who is this little pest?" Skyquake questioned. "He looks like a Cybertronian, but he is so tiny."
"This, pest, as you so rudely called me, is an Autobot." Raion said, showing the Autobot emblem on his shoulder. "An' I'm also the one who killed Megatron, by blowing up his All Spark Damned Space Bridge, with him still inside Ground Zero."
"You what?" Skyquake questioned.
"Raion, what are you doing?" Optimus questioned.
"I honestly have no idea." Raion said, looking over his shoulder to Optimus.
The instant Raion turned back to Skyquake, he ducked down, and evaded Skyquake's hand as the Decepticon reached out to grab him, but missed as Raion proved he was fast for his size.
"Stay still you little pest." Skyquake growled, trying to squash Raion.
"An' make it that much easier for you to squash me like a bug? No thanks!" Raion said.
"Raion, fall back." Optimus said, charging at Skyquake, before hitting him with a punch to the face.
"Not on your life Optimus." Raion said. "I'm having too much fun making him lose his cool."
"That is exactly why I want you to fall back." Optimus stated. "You do not know Skyquake, or his power."
"I know he's not as strong as Megatron!" Raion exclaimed.
Twisting around Raion flew straight for Skyquake, before slamming a double kick into the Decepticons forehead, and knocked him back.
"I'm a Kryptonian, I'm a Saiyan, I'm a Cybertronian. I'm all three of those things." Raion said. "I'm the first of my kind, and I am physically stronger, then this hunk of rust."
"Raion…" Optimus said, in a warning tone.
"I've been cooped up, for three years in that Reproduction Pod, and I'm finally out to stretch my legs, and do my own thing." Raion said, throwing his entire body at the Decepticons, and knocking him down into the ground. "This is the first actual mission, I've actually been allowed on. I didn't have to sneak on board, or stow away like I had during the mission that nearly got me killed, or the mission that destroyed Megatron. I'm having too much to stop right now."
"Bee, grab Raion and fall back." Optimus stated.
Bee acknowledged the command, and ran forward, hitting Skyquake with a powerful shot from his blaster, before he grabbed Raion and quickly turned around, before he and Optimus took on their vehicle forms, and drove off, with Raion in Bee's drivers seat.
"What the hell Bee?"
"Listen to me Raion." Bee said, using the radio broadcasts to talk. "Optimus, has a point. You might be enjoying, your first official mission, but that high, is putting all our lives, on the line. We have to, retreat for now."
"Bee is correct Raion." Optimus said over the intercom. "This is the best course of action we can take. Skyquake has yet to acquire a vehicle mode, which means we can out smart him by leading him on a wild chase. If possible, I'd still like to try and bring him to the Autobots side."
"That's not gonna happen!" Raion exclaimed.
"You don't know that, Raion." Optimus stated.
"I remember the story you told me, about the battle you fought against him, and based on that, I don't think he's in the mood for talking or switching to our side." Raion said.
"I'm aware it will be difficult to change his mind. But I hope beyond hope, that I can help change his mind." Optimus said.
"Optimus, he just tried to kill me, because I confessed to killing Megatron." Raion stated. "I agree using vehicle mode is a smart idea to lead him on a wild goose chase, but I honestly believe you're wasting your time trying to talk him down and join our cause. His loyalties are to Megatron, and no one else. I get you wanna see the good in everyone, and I do agree that there may be a few who don't really agree with the Decepticons morals, but Skyquake isn't one of those bots. He won't be joining the Autobots, anytime soon. An' things are only gonna get dicey, if civilians get involved. For example, he takes on a vehicle mode and goes to the nearest town, or city, and causes a massacre."
There was a moment of silence as Optimus pondered over Raions words, before Bee spoke up.
"He's got a point chief." Bee said, using a radio broadcast.
"Very well Raion." Optimus said. "We'll put an end to Skyquake, here and now."
"Good, because I was thinking we oughta do something rather soon. I'm still itching a bit from cabin fever." Raion smirked, cracking his knuckles.
"You got a plan boss?" Bee asked.
"I might have one. But you both gotta trust me, and believe I know what I'm doing." Raion said.
There was another moment of silence, before Optimus spoke up.
"Alright Raion, we'll trust your judgement." Optimus said.
"Good, now let's get to work." Raion smirked.
~Elsewhere~
"Who knew humans went through so much in their lives." Arcee sighed, putting away the dishes that had been delivered to her door. She didn't really know how to help Jack with his project, so she just decided to return to her house and unpack all the supplies that'd been provided to them from the military. "At least Fowler was kind enough to get these dishes donated to us from some rather nice people. These dishes aren't half bad actually, they're almost brand new."
Knock-knock-knock.
Arcee was instantly on high alert, not knowing who was there. Trying to think back to one of her lessons with Raion's training simulator, Arcee recalled the instructions to triggering her X-Ray vision, and focused. X-Ray vision was the first power she'd unlocked when training, so she spent quite a while honing her control over it. Peering through the door, Arcee relaxed when she saw it was just a friendly neighbor.
"Coming." She called out, heading for the door and opening it. "I apologize for the wait."
"Oh it's no problem at all." June said, standing outside the door with a casserole dish in hand. "I just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood. My name's June Darby."
"Oh, you're Jacks mom right?" Arcee asked.
"You know Jack?" June inquired.
"Somewhat, I met him when I was picking my son up from school." Arcee said. "He's a sweet boy."
"Oh, why thank you. I try my best." June smiled.
"Would you like to come in? I just unpacked the dishes and I'm pretty sure I still have some unused coffee grinds." Arcee smiled.
"Coffee sounds wonderful." June smiled coming into the house. "So, what brings you to Jasper, what made you want to move to this quaint little town?"
"Honestly? It wasn't really so much as a want, but a need." Arcee said. "I work in the military, and I needed their support, medical wise."
"Oh no, is your husband okay?" June asked.
"That's sweet of you, but I'm not married. Never was actually." Arcee stated, brewing a fresh pot of coffee. "No, the medical aid I needed was for my son. He was in a coma up until recently, and the base said they'd be able to help, but I'd have to be transferred out here."
"Oh I am so sorry to hear that." June said. "Is your son doing okay?"
"He's up and about, not even a three year coma could keep him down for long." Arcee chuckled. "He's already back on his feet, and is quite the bright young man."
"I'm glad to hear that. Where is he now?" June asked.
"Now, he's with his Uncle Bee at the base I'm stationed at, doing some physical therapy." Arcee said. "Cream, sugar?"
"Cream please." June smiled. "So does being in the military run in the family?"
"Apparently. Bee isn't exactly Raion's blood relative, but Raion grew up in a military environment, and members of my squad came to know him as family. Confidentially, his coma was caused by an attack on our previous base, one that nearly killed him." Arcee said. "He survived, but didn't wake up until a short while ago."
"Oh, I am sorry you had to go through that." June said.
"It's fine. Raion's still how he usually was before the coma. I swear, nothing can slow that kid down." Arcee chuckled. "I'm just worried, he'll take on something, too big for him to handle."
~Raion~
"Alright… I admit, I am a little out of my depth here." Raion groaned, pressing up against Skyquake's foot as the Decepticon tried crushing him like a bug. "But, this is still very fun." He smirked, pushing harder against Skyquake.
"Where is Optimus Prime?" Skyquake questioned.
Off in the distance, Bee and Optimus were waiting with baited breath. They'd promised to trust Raion knew what he was doing, but so far they were concerned he wasn't gonna make it out of this fight alive.
"You know, from one guy who's been asleep for years, to another. I'd have thought you'd lose some weight from that long ass sleep." Raion said. "Then again, I haven't met you until today, so maybe you did and I'm just being an ass."
"Pesky little gnat." Skyquake growled, pressing down harder on Raion.
"A gnat huh?" Raion asked. "Well, good to know where you stand on your opinion of me. But here's the thing Skyquake, I don't care what you think of me."
Raion pushed harder against Skyquake's foot, before he grit his teeth in a smirk, and pushed upwards against him, his body changing as it grew in size, taking on a more animalistic form.
"You've never seen anything like me, so I'm gonna enjoy teaching you, about what I really am." Raion stated, his voice going deeper as he not only knocked Skyquake back, but also now stood on equal footing as him.
Optimus and Bee looked in surprise at what they saw. Standing there, over the fallen Skyquake, was a Cybertronian sized gorilla, wearing Raions Cybertronian armor.
"Well would you look at that, I'm standing equal to you now. Didn't think my size would increase so drastically after scanning that endangered gorilla species." The teen said, looking himself over. "Let's go ape wild." Raion roared, pounding his chest.
(Cue Music… Fighter: Monsta-X)
Raion and Skyquake charged at each other, neither of them willing to back down as Raion slammed his fist into Skyquake's face.
"You think, just because you got bigger all of a sudden, you're stronger then me?" Skyquake questioned, as he corrected himself, moving out of the way of Raion's next few punches.
"No. But I do know how to set up an ambush." Raion said. "NOW!"
From out of the rocks, Optimus and Bee came out and charged at Skyquake. The Decepticon was quick to react, as he knocked the scout away, before Optimus wrapped his arms around him in a bear hug from behind, holding him tight.
"You shall not prevail this day Autobots." Skyquake stated, before breaking free and slamming his elbow into Optimus's face.
Quickly turning around, Skyquake body slammed Optimus, knocking him to the ground as he slammed his fist into the Primes face.
"I will have the pleasure, or ending your spark." Skyquake said.
"Did you forget about me?" Raion questioned, slamming his primate feet into Skyquake's body. Both fighters began to role before they'd stopped as Raion slammed into a stone wall.
"You're out of your league boy." Skyquake said.
"Maybe, but I'm still gonna kick your…"
Raion stopped, when the sound of an air vehicle thundered through the air. Looking up, all three Autobots saw it was a military jet.
"Agent Fowler, fall back immediately." Optimus said.
Fowler either didn't get the transmission, or he was ignoring Optimus's directive as he came back around, and began firing at both Skyquake and Raion.
"For crying out loud Prime, the Decepticons have giant animals now?" Fowler questioned.
"Hey, it's me jackass." Raion said. "You're firing at an Autobot."
"Raion?" Fowler questioned.
"Duh, now get the hell out of here before…"
It was too late, the transmission was cut when Skyquake's eyes lit up and began scanning the military fighter jet.
"Scrap." Raion growled, knocking Skyquake out of the way, before he transformed back to his smaller hybrid body and took to the air.
Fowler continued to try and bring his aircraft under control, before all propulsion was stopped. Looking up out of the windshield, the government agent gasped when he saw Raion flying in mid air, holding the aircraft up with both his hands on the nose of the jet.
"Feel like listening now?" Raion asked.
"Yes sir." Fowler said.
"Good." Raion stated, before setting the jet down. "Stay here, and we'll take you back to base with use through a ground bridge."
Taking back to the air, Raion went straight for the Decepticon, only for the bot to come flying through, and hook Raion with his wing.
"Foolish gnat." Skyquake said. "When it comes to the air, I am supreme."
"That's where you're wrong, Skyquake." Raion growled, as he pushed back on Skyquake, the wind force fighting his resistance.
Pulling himself up, Raion flipped onto his hands on Skyquake's wing, before he was sent flying off the wing, tearing sheets of metal from the Decepticons vehicle form. It took Raion less then a second to correct himself, before he went flying straight at Skyquake, in a game of chicken.
"When it comes to aerial battles, Saiyan, and Kryptonians are the apex predators." The Hybrid teen exclaimed, right as they reached one another, and Raion slammed his fists down on the nose of the vehicle form, knocking the Decepticon down, heading straight for the ground bellow. As Raion gave chase, he stopped when several flying orbs came from out of the sky and circled around him.
"Raion, what are those things?" Fowler asked, seeing them from where he stood.
"They're some of the drones I sent out from my Kryptonian Scout Ship." Raion said, grabbing one of the orb shaped drones. "Let's see what you hold little one." He said, as wires came out from the drone and connected to his wrist, allowing for the drone to melt into him. "An attack used by a surviving pure blood Saiyan?"
"Watch out." Optimus warned through the intercoms.
Raion quickly turned around, before he pulled back a bit, managing to evade Skyquake as he came charging right at him.
"This ends now you pesky insect." Skyquake stated.
"What better time to use it then right now." Raion said, holding his arms out, wrists connected to one another.
"Raion, what are you doing?" Fowler questioned.
"Kame…" Raion began to chant, as he pulled his arms back, his right hand over the left.
"Raion, move, get out of there." Optimus said. "Skyquake's closing in on you fast."
"Hame…" Raion continued to chant, as a powerful ball of energy formed between his hands.
"RAION." Fowler and Optimus shouted.
"HAAAAA!"
Raion released the attack, at point blank range on Skyquake. This resulted in the Decepticon not only being pushed back, but also taking on severe damage. Raion pushed harder with his final attack, before it dispersed.
(End Song…)
The instant the attack ended, Skyquake's flight became erratic, before he came crashing to the ground bellow, and stopped in front of his slumbering stasis chamber.
Raion slowly lowered himself from the sky, making sure to bring Fowler to the ground with him, before they stood on the ground in front of the fallen Decepticon, with Bee and Optimus, as the injured bot closed his eyes for the last time.
"Buzzing, bee, boop, bop."
"Perhaps Bumblebee." Optimus said.
"If Skyquake had chosen to stray from Megatrons path, then we probably wouldn't be burying him this day." Raion sighed.
"Killing your enemy doesn't get any easier son." Fowler said. "You just gotta find a way to deal with these conflicting feelings you're having when it comes to taking a life."
"I know, I just don't really like it." Raion said. "I had hoped to the All Spark and back that I was wrong about Skyquake. I really hoped there might have been a chance to bring him around, but he wasn't giving us reason to believe in him."
"But you do care that he's gone." Optimus said. "Let us bury him, with honor."
"Right." Raion said.
~Bunker~
"I cannot believe this." Raion huffed, throwing his bag on the couch.
"What's grinding his gears?" Ratchet questioned as the Autobots and their companions, minus Arcee, who came in with Raion in her smaller organic form. "Did he not get top place for his project?"
"I got top place and more." Raion said. "My Arc Reactor was the hit of the Science Fair. I mean, I took a fictional device from a comic book, and turned it, into reality with my Kryptonian and Saiyan science."
"Then, I'm not seeing the problem." Ratchet stated.
"There were several surprisingly high ranked scouts there. He got offered a full ride scholarship to Harvard's Robotics and Physics programs." Arcee said. "As well as Stanford, MIT, Cal-Tech, even a scout from Tokyo University was there."
"He was just there, because my parents have ties with the University of Tokyo, and sent him there to spy on me." Miko said.
"Point is, Raion's upset because the school is making him graduate early, on the condition he takes up an offer for one of the universities scholarships." Arcee finished. "I am actually quite proud he got recognized by so many schools."
"Raion, may I have a word with you?" Optimus asked.
"Sure thing." Raion said, hopping onto Optimus's shoulder.
"So, how did my… our projects fair?" Ratchet asked, looking to Jack, Miko, and Raph.
"Raion, putting yourself at risk like what you did yesterday, was perhaps not the wisest of strategies." Optimus said.
"I know, but we had to do something." Raion said.
"I don't disagree with you on that front, but next time, please take your time, and follow my instructions." Optimus said. "I gave you some slack with it due to the fact you'd been catatonic for three years, but that's not gonna happen again, if you break rank."
"Right, understood Optimus." Raion said.
"What were those drones anyway?" Optimus asked.
"I sent hundreds of those drones out while mom was in recovery, searching for any signs of life from any other Saiyans or Kryptonians still out there. I even sent them looking for any surviving Autobot fighters with an invite for them, in case they needed a home. These drones must have found some Saiyans."
"Perhaps, it'd be best if you pass stuff like this through me, in the future Raion." Optimus said. "We don't wanna make the government think we Autobot are the invading forces."
"You got it Optimus." Raion stated.
"What?" Ratchet questioned, causing Optimus to turn towards him. "On Cybertron, those projects would have earned you the highest honors."
"Raph's mom has to pay for the damages your volcano caused at the school Ratchet." Raion said. "I'd say he's owed a little compensation money to cover those damages."
"I'll go inform Fowler." Arcee said. "He's not gonna be happy."
"Buzz, beep, boop, bop, beep." Bee said.
"Good one Bee. Maybe Jack, Miko, and Raph, should have strayed from Ratchets path. Then they wouldn't have been in this mess." Raion laughed.
