Hawks landed next to Izuku, Nejire, and Eri, out on the street beyond the factory.
People were still flooding out of it - workers Izuku had never seen before, that must have run the Company Town behind the scenes. My god, It must be at least three hundred. He'd had no idea how many people they'd be liberating.
"There's…cannons…" He pointed at the buildings, gaining Hawks' attention. "For launching mustard gas. I don't know where they moved the finished ones, but they need to be destroyed…"
"Lemillion is scoping it out," Hawks replied.
"Togata-senpai is here too?" That made him light-headed. It had been ages since they'd seen each other.
"Destroying some stuff, you say?" Mirko grinned and hopped back toward the factory. "I'm on it! I'll find it in a jiffy!"
"I'll try and corral these people. You guys stay here and watch Eri." Hawks flapped his wings and took off as well.
Izuku didn't know how to continue talking to Nejire from here. They both stared at each other bashfully, over-aware of Eri's presence as she lingered around their legs.
Then, Suneater walked over.
"Midoriya?" He had returned to fully human form. "I'm so glad you're okay!"
"I'm…yeah. Okay is a good word." Izuku laughed weakly, and offered a hand to the older boy. "Thank you, Amajiki. For coming to get me."
Tamaki took the handshake and then pulled Izuku into a fierce hug.
"It's…only what a friend would do," he said, firmly, with barely a hint of the anxiety he was known for.
Taken aback, Izuku's eyes welled up a little again, but he returned the embrace warmly.
When they separated, Eri was lurking, making Amajiki grin. "Do you want to hug him too, Eri?"
"I…yes, but I don't wanna get too excited." Eri seemed to be concentrating, staring at the lively scene at the end of the street while taking deep breaths. "I have to control my power." The light in her horn had died.
Izuku knelt down in front of her. "You did wonderfully, Eri. Do you know how much of a miracle you are?"
The little girl gulped. "I…don't hate to hear that," she breathed. "Nejire-chan told me about the woman with the…the extra Quirk…when I saw her it was like I could sense it in there. It was easy to…to do it." She scrunched up her face. "Like when I eat an apple that's already been sliced for me."
Izuku laughed. "You know, I always use weird metaphors for my own power, too." Speaking of which, One for All was flowing within him again. He could sense a great warmth from the vestiges, and inwardly promised to speak to them later. But first.
"Guys." He stood back up and stared seriously at his two senpais. "What happened? Have the villains attacked?"
Tamaki and Nejire took turns filling him in about Star and Stripe and the ambiguous delay, which had allowed them to come after him out here. Another miracle. It was a relief to know that his despair had been misplaced.
A bit later, all the freedpeople had been gathered outside. Hawks, Mirko, and Lemillion rejoined them as well, the surviving guards knocked out and restrained and pulled along by Hawks' feathers.
Izuku had an emotional reunion with Lemillion, and then asked what they found.
"There were a bunch of weapons, yep!" Togata confirmed. "We broke 'em to pieces."
"How…how many?"
Mirko was scratching her ear. "Dunno. Were we supposed to be counting? All of them are destroyed."
Izuku had lost track of the numbers they'd built. One of the workers might know. "What about Hojo and Mustard?"
"They're not here," said Hawks. "But we got all their bases."
"Yes, but there could still be bombs or cannons or even some loyal men of theirs unaccounted for…"
"Could be." The winged hero shrugged. "But our priority is getting you - and all these good people - back to UA."
"It's true. We don't know how much time we have left." Lemillion frowned. "Also, sorry Midoriya, but we couldn't find anyone's civilian clothes from before they were captured and put into these jumpsuits…so that includes your hero costume. It was probably destroyed."
"Oh…that's okay…" He hadn't even been thinking about it. To tell the truth, I'm glad to be rid of the thing. While wearing it, he'd tried to be something he wasn't.
Then, a twinkle entered Togata's eye. "Good! Because little Eri brought you something." He took off the backpack he was wearing and lowered it to Eri's level, so she could dig through it.
"Oh yeah! I forgot!" The white-haired girl unzipped the big pocket and pulled out…a costume. "This is from your mom, Deku. She wanted me to give it to you."
Hands slightly shaking, Izuku took the outfit and let it unfold from his hands. It was as teal as his very first one, made of hobby fabric, with some aesthetic improvements to the design. There was no hood or mouthguard, but there was a pair of big white gloves…
"And these, too." Eri pulled out a pair of shoes from the bottom of the bag. They were not the black steel-toed boots he'd been using for months. They were the big red lace-up shoes he used to wear all the time.
On the tag at the neckline was a message. For my little hero. May you return safely. Love, Mom.
Izuku didn't say anything. He just shut his eyes and hugged the outfit to his chest, aware of everyone watching him, and not really caring.
For the next hour or two, they did one last full-round check of the facility to ensure the barrier was totally destroyed and there were no stragglers or anything important to grab. Then, transportation was coordinated. Hawks could carry some of the people with his feathers, but they also stole a few parked vehicles at the factory to handle the rest. Tamaki went centaur mode and took a couple as well.
Izuku offered to take some with Blackwhip, but the other heroes insisted he conserve his energy and just focus on getting himself back. He conceded to this.
They began the trek home.
…
"Sir, there is no response. The Company Town has been abandoned. The weapons are all destroyed. They took our vehicles, our workers…everything."
Naru closed his fist so tight he made his knuckles white. Shaking. An insane grin slashing his face. "We…still…have…the kid. And each other."
"But…without the cannons…"
"ALL WE NEED TO TAKE CONTROL IS MY QUIRK!" he exploded, making the men flinch. "And all we need to HOLD it is whatever UA has got. Robots and such. There must be plenty we can use. We still have the helmets. The plan continues. We are still in this game, whether they think so or not."
…
The sun was almost sweltering, indicating the break of summer. Dark, puffy clouds loomed on the horizon.
It was mid-afternoon, and flying in the air near Nejire was becoming nearly unbearably distracting. So, Izuku felt all the more strongly toward her when she called, "Hawks! Do you mind if Deku and I stop for a bit and talk about something?"
He seemed doubtful. "...Okay, but…"
"We'll catch up to you guys, don't worry!"
"Yeah, fine. Just call me on the transponder if anything comes up, okay?" Hawks tapped his ear. "My priority is these civilians, so…"
"Got it!" She gave him a thumbs-up, and then looked at Midoriya, her face growing more…serious. He stared right back.
They both took mutual deep breaths, and then flew away from the group.
Nejire led him several blocks away, over a park and into a more decadent area. Luxury apartments lined narrow streets. In the distance, he could even see a mansion surrounded by a green, gated ground.
They parked on a roof, a little tired, both leaning forward to catch their breaths.
She took a sip of water and then offered her bottle to him. Izuku drank from it unapologetically.
"Do you want to sit?" she asked. They were both sweaty from the heat, and there was a shaded overhang to sit beneath.
Izuku nodded and they plopped down together, passing the water back and forth for a minute.
"Um. Where to begin." He'd had no conception of making it to this point. His life in the last twelve hours had been an onslaught of things going right, putting him in uncharted waters.
"Did you mean it in the same way I did?" she whispered.
"That…depends on how you meant it." He became unsure all over again. Their hearts were competing for the fastest beat.
"I mean it directly." She took one yellow glove off and turned his chin with her fingers, making him face her. "I…love you a lot." A furious blush bloomed on her face, and she broke the eye contact quickly.
Izuku was shaking a little. "...Yeah. It's a hard word to use, but…I think it really is how I feel about you, too." The vestiges, particularly Nana who'd been married, were affirming this. Yes, Izuku. This is love. This has always been love.
"It began when you came to our class and pestered everyone to learn about their powers. I'm a Quirk geek, so to see you be that way with such ease and grace…it was like an ideal I wanted to strive toward. Then there was the beauty pageant, and the exercise you did with us where you played a villain…I saw how pretty and cute and unique and energetic you were…but I dismissed it as a silly crush on an older girl who wouldn't notice me." Izuku wrung his hands. "Then, slowly out here…as we worked together and opened up to each other, that came back, and it…deepened. As I saw the other sides of you. But I've been such a mess that I…couldn't even admit it to myself."
Nejire was gazing at her lap, unable to keep her smile under control. "That thing about me not noticing you may have been true," she admitted. "At first I wasn't that curious about you. I liked to ask people about their Quirks and about themselves because it was the easiest way to be friendly…even if I overdid it sometimes." She shrugged bashfully. "But you just had a basic strength Quirk, and you were a first year, so…I didn't really care. I saw your Overhaul fight and the stuff with Shigaraki and all that, and it was impressive, but…there were so many other emotions to be had from that stuff. Mainly I grew to think of you as someone really important to our cause…but not to my life." Her chest rose and fell. "But…yeah. Over the last few months you…proved me wrong. I confess that when I saw the chance to meddle in your…main character energy, for lack of a better term, I mainly did it because I thought it'd be interesting, and I wanted to get more involved…that was back when we went to the hospital to stop Dabi. Then from there it was like we just had this…partnership that worked. The Skindancer thing, I mean…some of the feelings I was experiencing there made me realize it had already happened. And then…" She pouted, as if it was unfair. "We sang together and you shared your katsudon with me, and I fell head over heels."
"Hado…I'm sorry. I was the first to catch feelings and the last to realize it. If I'd realized it before, I wouldn't have ended up in all these…" He swallowed. "While I was imprisoned, I assumed you and everyone else were dead. And with Lady Nagant, I…" He shut his eyes and winced. "You don't have to forgive me. I've been a complete mess."
"Oh, Midoriya-kun." Her hand stroked his cheek. "I don't think anyone would be able to handle your burdens any better than you have. The fact that you and I even made it to this point is a testament to your strength. You're the strongest person I've ever met…but you aren't some grownup vigilante who can handle it all on his own. No one is."
"I'm done trying to be," he promised. "That's not me, and All Might's not me, either. I can't put into words what hero I want to be now, but I'll never betray that. I am my own hero, and I am a guy who loves you, and you only."
Nejire's blue eyes shimmered. "You promise?" she whispered.
"I'm sorry for hiding it and making it hard to believe. You were so subconsciously precious to me that I couldn't dare to try anything and screw it up somehow. I don't think I'd be able to live without you." He laughed, trying to make light of that last sentence slipping out, but the serious truth of it was unmistakable.
Nejire was blooming with warmth. "I'm…I'm not that special…" she muttered, holding a hand up to the scarred side of her face.
Izuku immediately grabbed her hand and lowered it. "That's so blatantly wrong. How many times have you saved my life now? If you hadn't shown up against Shigaraki, Todoroki wouldn't have been able to protect my unconscious body on his own. I was trapped in that crazy net at one of the Hojos' nightclubs until you burst in. You were the only one fast enough to defeat Mitoma before she used her Quirk to kill us all. You pushed me out of Naru's suicide circle, and then came to get me from the bigger one. So yes, I'd be dead five times over without you, and that's just the literal meaning of what I said. I also mean that without your smile, your energy, your beauty, your boundless curiosity, your emotional intelligence, your consideration, your friendliness, and your leadership all in my circle of existence, it wouldn't be worth going on. You have brightened the darkest hour of my life, against all odds."
Nejire just gazed at him, her eyes relaxing more and more, her breaths deepening as she listened. Their hands were still clasped together between their chests.
She seemed almost unresponsive, so Izuku did something reckless. He cradled her cheek with his free hand, sliding it up along the wave of her hair that sat in front of her ear. "I'm going to kiss you, Nejire." Using her first name. Taking initiative for himself. Not waiting for the energy to align, or waiting to be asked, or used.
"Okay, Izuku," she whispered at last.
He tilted her head up and brought his lips to hers.
Fireworks.
The kiss was soft, but searing, lingering as they finally felt each other in the way they'd dreamed. There was a fluttering thrill, their nerves peaking and overheating their bodies, passing an oven of warmth between them.
Izuku opened his nostrils and took in her scent. Jasmine, lavender. Nejire's hair curled up into spirals atop her head on its own.
They separated, stared into each others' eyes, and both shuddered. They let out deep breaths and immediately embraced, dizzy, melting into one another, getting as close as they physically could, seeking more and more of that heat. Trying to slow their heartbeats and calm down.
"I…" Nejire released a light-headed laugh. "I just wanna keep doing that…"
"I know what you mean…"
They remained in the shade. It had grown cloudier overhead, but it was still very humid out. Izuku wasn't sure how long they held each other.
"I'm so happy…" Nejire giggled, then suddenly swept up in a burst of energy, grabbing his hands and yanking him with her, spinning him around in a dance of breathless laughter. "I'm so HAPPY!"
Izuku laughed with her. "Hey, whoa-!"
Her Quirk shot from her feet and the two of them went spiraling into the sky above the roof, unable to control themselves. Izuku activated Float as they climbed, laughing and gazing into each other's eyes…
…They pulled each other together and kissed again, spinning over and over slowly. Izuku maintained Float and held Nejire around her waist to keep her safe and close. Her periwinkle hair billowed in the wind as they flipped upside down and then right-side up again. They made out in the sky, everything else forgotten.
She was the exact sort of magical kisser he imagined her to be. Endlessly curious and experimental, pushing and pulling his lips with hers, challenging him to take the lead one second and taking it herself the next. Her hands went everywhere to feel his body. Her own body left little of its contours to his imagination beneath her hero costume. Kissing Nejire was an involved activity. There was no sense of taking anything from one another, which he'd grown so used to with all the others. She was only giving. He was only giving back to her. The sparks did not lessen in potency. Love. Finally, finally, finally. It was finally. It had always been her.
Nejire bit his lip gently as she pulled away, making him shudder, then she leaned to the side and blew softly into his ear. Izuku gasped, goosebumps covering his entire body. "Wha…what are y-you…"
She began to kiss and lick his ear, sending stronger and stronger waves of relaxing chills through him. Izuku felt faint. Heaven. Her hands wandered his chest as she gave him the personal attention. The way her head was angled put her neck in front of his mouth, so he turned into her a little and began to kiss it.
Nejire gasped in response. "Yeahhh…" she breathed into his ear, "that's the ticket…" and returned to her own ministrations.
Izuku traveled around her neck, planting kisses and sucking lightly, both growing more and more insistent as they tried to make the other melt, curling together in the sky, their hands running through each others' hair, faster, faster, more…
They fell a few feet and cried out, mutually reactivating their powers and grabbing each other by the shoulders.
They stopped abruptly, looking down at the roof and then back at each other, realizing they'd gone far too high and gotten very distracted.
"We should…" Nejire laughed shakily. "Maybe not get carried away…"
"Yeah…we've only just confessed, after all…" Izuku agreed, disappointed in his head.
"There's still work to do, and you're barely recovered. There's a lot we have to get through…"
"Yeah…"
Boom. Crack.
They both looked up at the clouds, which had gotten randomly very dark all of a sudden.
The rain burst all at once.
One second they were bone-dry, the next they were being assaulted by water. A fickle late-spring storm had rolled right on top of them.
"Aaaaah!" Nejire squealed, taking his hands and pulling him downward. "We…we need to get out of this…"
"Ya think so?!" he half-shouted back over the noise. The rain had already drenched his hair and the grey Company Town jumpsuit he still wore. Nejire's hair-spirals curled back down, her normally voluminous locks getting pressed and smushed against her head.
They dived for the roof again and made it under the overhang. Upon gaining refuge, Izuku looked back out at the storm. It really was a deluge; practically a curtain of water coming down just beyond the overhang.
He released Nejire's hands so she could check her transponder. "Oh my goodness, it's nearly night time!" she exclaimed. "Were we here that long? I need to call Hawks, hang on…"
The call patched through. "Let me guess." Hawks' voice sounded sardonic through the speaker. "Y'all got caught up in that storm."
"Are you guys out of it?! I didn't realize we'd fallen so far behind!" Nejire seemed frantic, so Izuku put a comforting arm around her as he listened in.
"Yes, we're ahead of the clouds. It doesn't seem like it's rolling through very fast, either. And it's nearly dark."
"We can still catch up, just-"
"No, I don't think that's a good idea. Deku doesn't need to be out in rain; he needs to be recovering tonight, not pushing himself and possibly getting sick." Hawks sighed loudly. "I should have seen this coming. We're gonna find a safe spot to spend the night soon, so you guys should hole up somewhere until the storm passes, and then catch up to us. We'll all make it to UA in the morning. Sound good?"
"Uhh…yeah. Okay."
"Okay. I'll let you know where we are when we stop. Hawks out." He hung up.
Nejire lowered the transponder, her eyes nervous. "I feel bad about holding us up."
"I don't," Izuku said frankly, with his arm still around her. That made her blush. "We can easily catch up to them when it's clear. For now, we need to…" He looked out into the storm, and once again saw that mansion in the distance.
"We could go there." He pointed. "Spacious, definitely abandoned. Dry."
That pleased her. "Sure!" she chirped, a happy light in her eyes at the idea of checking out the mansion. "Let's do it fast-"
She'd been about to take off flying, but then Izuku simply picked her up like a bride and prepared to carry her. "Fastest way is this."
"Ah…yeah…" Nejire's breath hitched.
He blasted toward the mansion fast enough to move the rain around them in waves. It took about forty seconds to reach.
The property was surrounded by a tall gate, which was still completely intact. "It doesn't look like anyone has broken in!" Izuku shouted over the torrent. As he slowed down over the green grounds, the rain began to fall straight down onto them again. He dived for the front porch and got them beneath it.
His hands slid down to Nejire's waist to plop her gently back on her feet. She let out a short squeal, hands pressed flat against his chest for stability. They stayed in physical contact even as Izuku forced the front doors open.
They walked inside, the rain dripping off their clothes and onto the floor. The mansion was dark, spacious, and overly warm.
Izuku set down the bag of supplies they'd brought, which contained the costume his mother had made for him, and left it just inside the entrance. Then he shut the door behind them, his eyes adjusting. The sound of the rain grew distant and echoey, almost comforting.
Nejire hopped forward, inspecting the entryway. "It's modern!" she chirped. "Like a tech mogul's house, or a billionaire's."
"I…yes. I see that." From the exterior, Izuku had been expecting something more traditionally Japanese, but this was not that. Before them was a living room in a sunken conversation pit, lavishly carpeted with a fine wooden mantle over a fireplace. A curving staircase made of separate steps sticking out of the wall led to a higher balcony. Abstract paintings and glass panels divided up the space.
He found a light switch and tested it for the hell of it.
The lights came on. The air conditioning hummed to life, sending a cool breeze through the room.
Nejire gasped. "It MUST be a tech person's house! They probably run it on some advanced internal system! One of those smart houses, or something!"
"It probably has automated security, too. Explains why there's no squatters. I wonder why they even bothered evacuating." Izuku looked back toward the door, and then down at his own wet clothes. "I feel bad getting rain all over this carpet," he muttered.
Nejire giggled and stepped closer. "I'm sure they won't mind."
Then she kissed him.
Izuku kissed her back, slowly, the two of them swaying in the middle of the room.
It lasted just a little too long. When Nejire pulled away breathlessly, she giggled again. "The vibe of this place will get to us if we're not careful, huh?"
"Yeah…slow down, remember?"
"Mmhmm. Slow." She seemed uncertain as she gazed into his eyes, but then cracked a grin and grabbed his hand. "C'mon, let's look around, silly!"
They spent twenty minutes exploring the mansion. They found another living room area, this one with more plants, windows, and a rocky water feature with a trickling fountain. There was a private library with dust-collecting wooden shelves. An office space with multiple computers and a swivel chair on a track to move between all of them, which Nejire sat in and pushed herself around for a few minutes. The kitchen was huge and had actual food in the fridge, but since they had only just turned the power back on, they dared not eat any of it.
Upstairs were multiple bedrooms of different styles and designs, more art, and a particularly large bathroom area with a spacious circular bathtub and an isolated standing shower, enclosed by glass.
Nejire plopped down on each of the beds in turn, all of them slightly different - one had a big wooden headboard, while another had posts and a canopy, and another was a waterbed.
"Ahhh, they're all so soft and big…" She moved her limbs about as if doing a snow angel. "I miss sleeping in beds like this."
Izuku was content to watch her antics with a loving smile, until she waved him over. "C'mon, you! Feel!"
"Uhh…that's okay, I'm good…"
"Izuku. You've been a homeless vagabond for months. I know you wanna indulge yourself a little." Outside, thunder boomed again, and he remembered why they were stuck here in the first place.
He sighed and joined her on the bed with a grin and a headshake, bouncing it as he landed.
Nejire patted the surface. "Nice, isn't it? And we have our pick of the lot to sleep in-"
"Now, hold on. We don't know if we're spending the night here. The storm could pass, and Hawks could call us back."
"Ah…yeah…" Her face was hard to read. "Of course…"
Izuku felt bad, so he leaned in to give her another kiss.
It turned out she'd been waiting for it. She plunged forward into him, kissing him with fervor and causing them to fall down on the bed.
"Mmph!"
Izuku felt himself sink into the mattress, the privacy and luxury of this environment and his strong feelings for this girl making him reckless. Making him succumb. He kept at it as Nejire's lips grew more and more active, as she squirmed on top of him…
He broke away. "No, seriously…" His arousal was about to express itself physically, and he wasn't sure how they'd return from that. "We're getting water everywhere, haha…"
Nejire pouted, but then her face lit up. "Ooh, speaking of which!" She hopped up and trotted back over toward the big bathroom, forcing him to follow. "I wonder, if the lights work because they're on their own system, then…"
She experimentally turned one of the bathtub controls. Water came rushing out.
"Yessss! And oh, there's so many soaps in this cabinet…we can get clean here!"
Izuku eyed the multiple fluffy towels left on a large rack in the corner. "Yeah, and more importantly, dry. It's like Hawks said. We don't want to get sick by staying in these wet clothes."
"Right. May as well get clean while we wait." She peered out at the window, which was still being assaulted by streams upon streams of water.
"Ladies first." Izuku stepped back.
"Oh, but there's no…" Nejire blinked. "One of us can use the tub and the other can use the shower! They're both massive anyway!"
Izuku took stock of that. The two features were next to each other - the shower was behind glass, meaning they would be in clear line of vision. "That's okay," he laughed. "I'll let you have your pick of it…" He stepped toward the door leaving the bathroom.
"Now hold on, Izuku. This is a big house, and it's storming out. I'll get scared if you leave me by myself in here." Nejire pouted again.
He was powerless to that expression. "...Okay, I'll j-just…then…" There was a plush sofa on the far side of the bathroom near the towel rack. Only in a mansion. "I'll keep my back turned while you do your thing…" He sat down and put her out of sight.
Nejire made some kind of irritated noise. Izuku wasn't sure what to do. Just because we're in a mansion like this doesn't mean we can mess around…we have to get back to UA quickly, and besides, we only just confessed…
But, another part of him was saying that it didn't feel too fast. That the two of them had been building up to this for so long that it was time to let go. And that maybe, just maybe…after all their hard work…they deserved to…
He swallowed, trying to push those indulgent feelings down.
He heard the splat of wet fabric hitting the floor. Nejire had taken off her hero costume.
"Izuku."
He froze.
"Turn around."
Her husky tone of voice straddled the line between request and command.
He turned.
Nejire was standing there in just her underwear.
A simple, solid white bra and panties, that seemed to struggle to contain her exquisite curves.
Her wet blue hair fell down around her bare shoulders. Abs faintly visible on her torso. Her costume left little of her long, shapely legs to the imagination, but now he was seeing them bare, and snow-white, and perfect.
Her face scars extended down her neck and shoulder a bit before fading, red giving way to pink. A lively smile was playing on her lips.
"Do what you really want to do, Izuku," she told him. A curling finger beckoned.
He stood and walked back to her as if possessed. She must have liked the expression he was making. Her finger moved to her lips and tapped them once. "I'm waiting," she whispered.
Izuku couldn't stand it. He wrapped his arms around her, one high and one low, and growled as he brought her into a kiss.
Nejire sighed and wrapped herself against him, their arms tangling in a rush to move everywhere and feel everything. For the first time, he forced her mouth open with his and tasted her tongue. She was just as curious with it as with her lips.
It felt so good to make out with her in just her underwear; the skin-to-skin contact was driving him crazy. She was shaped like a masterpiece. Just a hint of plumpness to all her features that made her perfect. He squeezed her thighs and her waist, savoring how smooth her skin was.
Her head tilted as she deepened the kiss. Every movement she made seemed to ask a question, like a physical version of her bright, curious interrogations. What will you do next, Izuku? Will you take charge? Which of us has the stronger tongue? The better stamina? Will you go for my butt? My big tits? Go ahead, go for them. I dare you.
It was practically telepathy with how synched they were; how well they'd grown to know each other. Izuku couldn't hold back. He fondled her ass through her panties, squeezing the cheeks and causing her to giggle throatily with delight. Once again, the perfect amount of fat. He gave her butt a full minute of attention, kneading it and feeling it jiggle.
"I like your hands, Izuku," she said as she tilted her head between kisses. "Rough, firm…go higher, baby."
Her chest had been pressing and squishing against his rather distractedly the whole time. Only now did he dare to snake his hands up to it.
Her boobs…he recalled hearing Ashido describe them as unfair one time, and oh boy, was that apt. They were just a bit too large in proportion to an average lady of Nejire's height and weight, and they were not very firm.
As he finally felt them, he realized how much he could move them around…stroking them between his fingers, feeling the smooth snap of the bra fabric, testing her and playing with her…before finally trying to fully cup them in his hands. He could not quite manage it, even with how big his hands were. Nejire giggled into his mouth again, likely catching onto his dilemma, and maybe having a hint of pride…
She moved to take off the top of his grey jumpsuit, and then Izuku slid back. "WAIT! Wait."
They both stared at each other, breathing very hard, faces a deep red. He could feel her drool and saliva all over his face; the kiss had gotten very messy.
Nejire's eyes went wide as she realized how badly the atmosphere had gotten to them.
Izuku had been about to repeat the same sentiments he'd repeated before. That Hawks could call them back any minute. That the storm could stop any minute. That they didn't really have time to waste here. That it was too soon.
But instead…he just kinda…didn't say any of that.
"You…you need a…" Nejire swallowed.
"I need a…"
"Pharmacy. There was a pharmacy…a few blocks back the way we came…"
Izuku let out a shaky breath. "I…yeah. I'll…"
Their deep gazes said everything.
"...I'll be right back."
He activated his Quirk and headed for the mansion exit.
The vestiges never told him in the years to follow, but Izuku Midoriya subconsciously broke his speed record that day, racing for the pharmacy…and in fact, would never manage to go that fast ever again.
The storm had not let up. He was getting wet all over again, but didn't care. He found the building quickly, just thirty seconds out from the mansion. Dived for the entrance.
Like the other ones he'd been in, the store was well-looted. The back area where they kept the prescription medications was completely bare, as were all the fridges and food shelves. The cosmetics were mostly intact, and there was still a little bit of everything else scattered around…
Izuku had been in hundreds of pharmacies in his life, and for a moment he darted about, annoyed with himself that he didn't actually have any idea where this particular item was usually kept. God, I was such a loser. He nearly busted down a shelf in his impatient frustration, but then he saw them.
A big old box of condoms. There were quite a few left. Safe sex not a priority for looters.
Not even two minutes later, he was bursting back into the mansion bathroom, rain cascading off of him, his green hair sticking to his head at messy angles.
Nejire was still standing there in her underwear. "That was fast," she squeaked.
Izuku shook himself off like a dog, and then ripped his own shirt off. Fuck this jumpsuit! Nejire let out an eep as he became abruptly shirtless.
He took wild, impatient steps toward her, digging into the box as he did so, unwilling to take on one thing at a time.
"You…you got a whole box?!"
"Yeah," he affirmed. "And I intend to use every single fucking one of them."
Nejire exhaled and came to him in a rush.
They kissed furiously as they worried at each other's remaining clothes. She pawed down his pants, until reaching down for them became too hard without breaking the makeout, and slid them the rest of the way down with her bare foot. He fumbled with unclasping her bra, making her chuckle again, and then gave up, tearing the string and freeing her tits, throwing the damn thing aside. Nejire began to plant kisses on his neck and chest as he fondled her, feeling her perky nipples for the first time. "Is that what you want, Izuku?" she breathed. "To make love all night? Do you want to fuck all fucking night?"
"Do you?"
"Yeeeesss," she whined.
He picked her up by the thighs and threw her legs around him, carrying her out of the bathroom, one of the condoms pinched between his fingers. They could come back for the rest when they needed.
As he carried her to the nearest bedroom down the hall, her breasts were level with his mouth, so he began to kiss them while fondling her ass and keeping her steady. Nejire moaned above him.
They burst into the bedroom, this one with the canopy bed. Izuku threw her lightly forward onto the bouncy mattress, making her whole body jiggle as she landed on her back. Nejire was laughing breathlessly, tears forming in her eyes, externalizing the ecstasy that Izuku himself was feeling. "Finally," she cried. "Finally, finally, finally!"
They slipped out of their lower underwear and made magic.
…
Hawks tried the line again.
Five rings. Nothing. No response.
Togata stared back toward the clouds. "Storm's still going. Maybe they lost the signal?"
"No, that's not possible." Hawks rolled his eyes. "I know exactly what they're bloody doing."
Togata and Amajiki exchanged a knowing glance. The blonde boy reached down and covered Eri's ears before asking, "Are they nuts?"
Amajiki burst into uncharacteristic laughter. "No…" he managed between wheezes. "No, they're just very, very pent up."
Hawks sighed. "They can both fly, and Deku could probably beat us to UA from there if he really wanted. How about we focus on these civilians, agree to forget this happened, and not speak of it when we see them again?"
"Agreed," said Togata. He uncovered Eri's ears.
"Pfft…agreed," echoed Amajiki.
"What's so funny?" asked Eri.
"Nothing," all three men said simultaneously.
…
Izuku and Nejire lost all sense of time.
They did it on every bed in the mansion, from the master bedroom all through the guest rooms. They did it in every position they could think of, with Nejire on top, with Izuku on top, and everything in between - sideways, upside down, floating in the air with their Quirks.
Between Nejire's boundless curiosity, Izuku's unstoppable stamina, and their overflowing love, they were unable to be satiated until they tried everything they could think of. They used their mouths, their fingers, and Nejire's boobs, in-between bouts of direct intercourse, alternating between fast and slow, rough and gentle, talking dirty the entire time.
Izuku found parts of himself deep inside he was never even aware existed, and became very aware of sides to Nejire he could have only imagined in his wildest fantasies.
The storm slackened and gave way to night and then died entirely, without them noticing one bit.
They used the big sofa in the mansion living room, and then as Izuku carried her back upstairs, not really knowing where they were going next, he grew too impatient and simply had her against the wall, holding her up the entire time.
Nejire's bright, almost stupefied smile never left her face. She even smiled through their kisses, which were surely now numbering in the thousands. Red marks made a minefield on their necks and chests.
They were long dry from the storm, though the humidity had made Izuku's hair curl, and Nejire's waves were rearing up at odd angles all over her head. "We should…clean up…" she suggested.
Izuku agreed. A change of pace.
Then they stumbled upon Nejire's hero costume on the floor of the bathroom, and she suggested they roleplay her as a hero coming to his rescue before losing themselves in their passion. So she put the costume back on and they acted it out, only for Izuku to slide it off as they did it again right there on the bathroom sofa. Then Nejire thought of an even spicier idea - Izuku roleplaying as a villain, and though he was more reluctant about this, his head was so hazy with desire that he got over it. This time, it was a great effort not to just tear the costume off her shoulders.
Finally, they made it into the shower, and managed to clean each other up pretty well before they lost control again, Izuku pressing Nejire's front against the glass wall and leaving a woman-shaped mark on the rapidly condensating surface, the warm water washing down their bodies.
After that, Nejire went for the towels, but Izuku grabbed her and brought her into the tub. "While we're wet, we may as well," he said, turning on the tub water, then grabbing some of the soap bottles and squirting them in, filling the basin with bubbles.
This overjoyed her, and they went for two rounds in the full tub before emerging and drying off.
They had used over half of the condom box. (Nejire remarked that if women's climaxes also required them, they would have run out hours ago.) Izuku swiped up a handful more and carried her through the mansion, wanting to have sex with her in every remaining room, even the ones where they just had to do it on the floor. She was more than pleased at the notion.
Upstairs and downstairs they went, the sounds of their kisses and moans and muttered words carrying through the house. They grew hungry, so they had a brief snack from the supply bag - much like the shower, they were only able to be normal for a few minutes before they couldn't bear it, and pounced on each other again.
Eventually, as they returned to the beds, Nejire admitted she was growing tired, and that Izuku was slowing down as well, even if he hadn't noticed.
Right as he thought about it for a second, the fatigue caught up to him, and the two of them collapsed into the bed's dreamy surface, gasping. Izuku wasn't even sure what room they were in, but his eyes were already growing kinda heavy.
"Storm…stopped…"
"Hawks probably tried to contact…"
"Too tired…may as well just sleep here…"
"Yeah…" They were both verbalizing the excuses they'd already come up with hours ago. All semblance of professionalism had been lost the instant Izuku made the pharmacy run.
Nejire slid toward him and embraced him, and they had slow, cuddling, cool-down sex, whispering and murmuring low declarations of love the whole time.
When it was over, she wanted to have some pillow talk.
"There's something I need to explain to you that I should have a while ago," she said, her eyes serious.
And then she explained about Akira Asano. How she'd run into him twice since the Mitoma operation where they'd first met him. How he'd turned into a completely different type of danger, an insane bounty hunter who didn't want to kill her, but ruin her life instead.
"But…how…I was there both times! I left you at the power station, and I was at Seiai…how didn't I…"
She took his hands reassuringly. "I kept it from you. There was nothing you could have done. In retrospect, it was really, really stupid. He could have been involved with the Hojo/Mustard conspiracy. I'm pretty sure that ended up not being true, but…it could have been a valuable lead that I kept to myself. Because…I don't know. I felt weak, I guess."
Izuku smiled faintly. "It sounds like you already explained this to someone who knows you well."
"Ah…that'd be Ryukyu…she convinced me to come after you, too…and to confess…"
"Well, I'm sure she'd say the same thing I'm about to say. Next time you see him, you'll know what to do." Izuku shrugged. "It's that simple."
"But…what will I do?"
"You'll know," he repeated, smiling encouragingly. "To be honest, I…I should probably open up about…my own stuff as well."
For the first time perhaps ever, Izuku put words to his entire past. He'd never explained his background in its full scope to anyone, but to Nejire he did. From that fated doctor's appointment when he was four, all the way to UA entrance exams, and everything in between. Including filling her in about any details of One for All she may have been unaware of.
"That's…" Nejire paled. "Wow. You know, I've often held back from asking you tons of questions…that all goes deeper than I could have possibly guessed."
"You're only the fourth person to know so much, really. Kacchan, my mom, and All Might are the other three. I…" He frowned. "I never gave it so much thought until the past few weeks. How unwilling I was to tell people about this, or even think about it. But you can't forget the past. It's made me who I am."
Nejire ran her fingers over his scarred hands. "I think…when we get back to UA, everyone is going to see you very differently." She grinned. "They'll also see you as mine, which is the more important part."
That made him chuckle. He was feeling a little less tired than before, but didn't mention it.
Nejire sniffed, then got up and stretched. "I should…check in with Hawks. Really quick. Just to make sure…be right back."
Izuku watched her leave, stared at her swaying hips, mesmerized by her body, still. His eye twitched.
She went down to the supply bag to check the transponder. There was a text message with an address, and then Hawks had written: we all stopped here for the night. just catch up to us in the morning, you psychos.
Nejire blushed a little upon how obvious the development of events was. She set the transponder down and turned back around…
…And crashed into Izuku's lips.
"I'm sorry," he husked between kisses, lifting her leg up to wrap around his waist, pulling their naked bodies together once more. "I just can't help it. You're too perfect. I don't wanna stop. I wanna use everything. Everything."
"Oh my God." She kissed him back just as deeply, rubbing him all over, responding in kind, revving the pace back up. "Thank God, I thought I was the only one."
Izuku used one of his Quirks to levitate them toward the high ceiling of the entryway. Squeezing and kneading and caressing all her round and soft and curvy parts, obsessed with them, wanting to commit their feel to his memory forever. And they had floating sex again.
Upon descent, they had hit something of a second wind.
They moved to the kitchen, making out the whole time, him walking backward and Nejire walking forward. They did it on the cold tile of the kitchen's central island.
They just couldn't stop. They were addicted, and had pushed their superpowered bodies well past their limits. The thought of conceding to their exhaustion, of ending this cycle of love and pleasure, was so repelling that Nejire actively whined whenever Izuku stopped giving her some kind of physical attention for even a moment.
Izuku pressed her against a window, and they devoured each other on the edge of night, with crickets chirping in the distance.
Then they found a secret closet, and made love there in the dark, half-standing up from the lack of space, but happy for the close intimacy.
They kissed so aggressively as they went backwards up the stairs that they knocked one of the paintings off the wall, causing Nejire to laugh uncontrollably.
Five condoms left. Four. Three. Two.
They had decided on the bed that they liked the best, and used the second-to-last condom when they reached it, going slow and steady, building up to a long, numbing mutual climax.
Then they couldn't help but collapse. Izuku was unable to keep his eyes open anymore, even as his heart pulled for her, unsatisfied, still wanting more.
They cuddled together and might have even slept for about twenty minutes before Nejire roused him awake again and rode him, demanding that they finish their goal. Last one.
"Ahhh…Izuku, I love you," she murmured, over and over. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I…"
"I love you too." It was all he could say in response. They were the only words he had left. The only feeling he had left. Nejire Hado had conquered his reality altogether.
After it was done, Izuku used the last reserves of his energy to go around the house and pick up any of the mess they might have left lying around. He deposited it all into a trash bag, knowing there was no hope for cleaning up any of Nejire's climaxes, or indeed many of his that had been from things besides intercourse.
When he got back to the bed, Nejire's legs were spread.
"Izuku, I don't care anymore," she begged. "Just do me raw, pleeeeease, I don't care what happens, I just need to feel all of you, just…"
He was already there. "Whatever you want, whatever you need," he whispered, "I'll be there, always."
And it had been a good suggestion. This time was the best, the closest, the most loving of all. They didn't kiss, or speak, but just stared into each other's exhausted eyes, refusing to break gaze for fear that they'd wake up and this would all be a dream.
Izuku did pull out, despite Nejire's weak, mewling protests. Then, because that time had been so good, they did it that way four more times, in various positions they'd already tried earlier in the evening.
Finally, they just made out and cuddled on the bed, kissing slower and slower, winding down and down and down into what would end up being a lasting slumber.
Izuku dreamt of nothing but her.
