Just two days before Halloween, downtown Zootopia was already buzzing with the atmosphere of Christmas.

A giant tree with hanging lanterns, some dressed as Santa Claus, carolers and a sea of people strolling down the street.

A scene that was repeated every year, which attracted animals that are tired of the same old everyday life.

It was only five minutes before the train was due to leave, and Snake and Wolf were running as they dragged their big and small suitcases to catch the train.

It's the month where everyone goes home for Christmas, so economy class was sold out.

The seat they booked this time was first class and the price almost doubled.

Fortunately, after boarding the train, the spacious aisle and quiet atmosphere still brought some relief to the couple's bleeding hearts and wallets.

They placed their large suitcases on the luggage rack in front of them and found their seats according to their ticket number.

First class had only two seats on each side and their seats are located on the window side.

The space between the front and back of the first class seat was actually very roomy, but the wolf's legs are slightly bent.

Snake also felt that first class was a bit cramped, his coils were too long.

The train was about to depart.

The reptile put the coffee cup in the cup holder and took his laptop out of the bag.

The benefits of the first class seat finally manifested themselves.

At least it ensured that I had a quiet environment to manage work mail.

Past Zootopia station, the line passed through an old neighborhood of stores and houses, built almost right up to the tracks.

They saw stone steps and narrow paths creeping between the houses.

They looked out the windows at the city passing by, but as the train passed along the bottom of the long slope leading down the hill to the snake's home town.

The road zigzagged through ancient neighborhoods, the bright sunlight felt as hot as a sauna.

Inside the train, a dozen passengers are sitting with their eyes dazzled by their cell phone screens, while many others were already dazed by the twists and turns of the road; they looked pale and some have even vomited into their plastic bags.

As they descended the slope, they talked about what they planned to do when they arrived and gossiped about what life was like as a young Snake in the backcountry.

- Route 168 used to be called Thread Road. Because the workers came up this road to get to the silk mills deep in the mountains. -

Listening to the snake share his wealth of knowledge was part of the fun of the trip.

As the train continued deeper and deeper into the mountains, Snake looked out the window, through the trees away from the track, at the small town of his childhood.

.

Wolf and Snake stepped off the platform.

When the train door opened, out stepped a pair of dark hiking boots with mud stains stuck to the soles.

The owner of the shoes jumped slightly and landed deftly on the ground.

Wolf removed his sunglasses and hung them on the V-neck of his shirt.

Snake aware that first-time out-of-towners greatly underestimated the difficulty of backcountry practices.

As a result, accidents occurred frequently, such as those who sprained their feet, suffered painful sunburns, poisonous plants, falls into lakes, and falls from mountains.

So he instructed the wolf before leaving to avoid each.

To avoid sunburn due to strong sunlight in the wild, experienced animals will wrap themselves from head to toe.

Snake was no exception and casually arranged his hat and hid half of his face with a scarf, so you can only see those clear and deep eyes.

Mountains surrounded them on all four sides.

The train tracks ran parallel to the deserted platform, and on the other side of the tracks they saw the small station building and the dormitories of the mining company.

Wolf was a little sleepy and his whole body seemed to melt in the warm sunlight, so he raised a hand to hold his forehead and blinked hard.

He turned his gaze skyward.

It was perfectly clear weather, a beautiful blue sky with no clouds around.

Although the afternoon temperature was higher than the morning, there was still coolness in the air.

Luckily I was wearing a thin shirt with the sleeves rolled up casually to the elbows, revealing slender arms and a thick layer of hair.

From there they transferred to ride a transit bus and continued on to their planned destination.

After driving through the desolate urban city, the bus began to gradually drive through the forest where a panoramic view could be seen in the distance.

They continued to look out the window for more than ten minutes.

The bus they were traveling on finally stopped at a bus stop with a sticker that stated the location of where they were.

After paying their fares, they got off the bus and then stretched to relieve the stiffness in their bodies.

The wolf pulled a towel from a bag jammed inside one of his large suitcases and wiped the sweat from his brow, then tried to find a shady spot.

Looking closely, he spotted a covered shelter behind the bus stop.

Both decided to rest for a moment before leaving, they took cover under the shelter to avoid the strong rays of the sun.

The roof and walls were made of wood.

In a space only a few feet wide, they sat on a bench where perhaps five adults could sit.

On the wall was a timetable faded by time.

Of course, just that little bit of shade did nothing to change the fact that it was hot.

But simply getting out of direct sunlight made a considerable difference.

He shook the hem of his shirt and with the back of his hand wiped the bead of sweat running down his cheek to his jaw.

- Can you apply some more sunscreen? -

The reptile asked, and held up a small bottle.

The wolf smiled, snakes don't have the difficulties of getting to hard places, but he gladly accepted anyway.

He squeezed a few drops of cream onto his fingertips, rubbed them into the palm of his hands and began to apply.

He started on her forehead and cheeks.

His fingers slid from her neck to her chest, from her back to what would become her waist.

Snake squirmed a little as he reached a few ticklish places, then let out a long sigh.

His hands massaged her coils and posterior.

Her scales are smooth and soft, shiny and firm.

Cream soaked palms as fingers danced spellbindingly over her body and sank into plush, overflowing flesh.

Then the fingers slid down to her stomach, even slipping under the bottom edges of her Hawaiian shirt as she meticulously applied the cream.

A trance-like expression appeared on the wolf's face as he moved, and unsure of where to look, he averted his gaze.

More or less finished, she closed the bottle and sat back down, as her boyfriend thanked her and put the bottle away, only to have the wolf ask:

- What shall we do with lunch? -

The snake dipped his tail into his bag and pulled out a lunch box in a cooler bag.

- I brought some sandwiches. -

There were four grilled sandwich triangles in mayonnaise, with ''ham'' and ''bacon''.

Wolf took two and took a bite.

Inside was cheese, tomato and lettuce, and it was incredibly delicious.

When he finished he asked again:

- ''And is a cab coming by or. . . -

The snake looks at him mockingly.

As Wolf grimaced at the heat of the sand on the ground running through his shoes, they passed the dirt road and continued on to a part with lots of pebbles and rocks.

It was difficult to walk over the rough terrain, but the snake nimbly slithered along with practical speed.

- We were able to rent a car! -

- You can walk perfectly well. -

Snake's village had only a dirt road leading in his direction.

Walking east along the river, it was several miles away.

However, the canine had to walk for a long time with his bags.

After all, he is a modern civilian.

Surrounded by air conditioning when it's hot and heating when it's cold, he's never been like this against the scorching sun.

He is overheated and tired, feeling that the sun over his head had now become a big ball of fire to burn him. (I think he needs water.)

The dirt path under his feet was also quite bumpy as he walked very carefully.

Soon, his back, legs and feet began to ache.

Later, they came across a wagon driven by mules.

After hitchhiking for a while, they considered themselves lucky to get a ride even though they had to pay.

Route 168 led west through the city and into the mountains.

The winding mountain road had existed for some years.

Supply trucks often passed through here, resulting in potholes of various sizes in the road that were difficult to avoid if the driver was distracted.

After a while, he turned off the old road and headed toward the new pass.

The town was at the end of a long bridge, and if all went smoothly down the mountain roads after that, they would arrive in about two and a half hours.

.

Once they reached the center of town where the river flowed north, the sky opened up and everything felt brighter, they began to feel the history of the town.

With the mass of snakes crowding the narrow streets of the preserved town, the whole place felt small.

- Do you want to rest before we go on? -

Snake asked, pointing to the entrance of a small alley just off the main street where tiny stores lined up side by side and colored bulbs hung overhead for Christmas time.

The neighborhood had that typical small town quietness, and few stores closed with the shades down.

- I could use something cold. -

Replied the soggy wolf.

It's an old alley in the old town, paved, wooden houses and colored shingles, with more than 30 family houses, each of which had opened a few stores on the second floor, from restaurants, cafes, to jewelry stores and small bookstores.

All opened by the townspeople themselves.

Although the scale was not too large, the stores were very elegant.

After several generations of business, it had become a stylish little street, and most of the people who visited throughout the day were locals.

Previously, the city made a promotional video, and the Alley with its classic and elegant atmosphere was advertised as a small picturesque place.

After that, many outsiders came to see the atmosphere.

Soon after, the flow of people had slowed down again, but business was still good.

They were happy and calm with the money they were earning and satisfied with this operating status.

The wolf gently pushed the wooden door of a rustic restaurant open.

There was a bell hanging on the door.

When it was struck, it made a clear sound that interrupted the quiet of the snake behind the workbench.

White was the primary color.

The tables and chairs were made of wood and there were many green plants.

On the left side of the door was the reception desk and back kitchen, and there were six tables in the living room.

The room was clean and simple in style, but there were many cozy areas.

The lights were a warm yellow and the tablecloths were either a light green or a dark one.

Each table had a small planter with flowers and plants, and the chairs had floral print cushions.

The store's sound system was playing soft, soothing songs.

- Welcome, here is the menu. -

Said the snake wearing a frilly pink apron, with one glance it was clear that he was not a store clerk, but the owner.

- A pitcher of Iced Fruit Tea and the biggest Hamburger I have. -

asks the wolf with his body needing to recover calories.

- I'll have the Lentil Meatballs. -

- Snake is that you? -

- Vincent? -

Time quickly reversed itself.

Suddenly, she had returned to that enviable age of youth.

It had been years since she last saw Vincent again.

Their friendship lasted for years, beginning in the first year of high school, when they first met.

A living symbolism of his passage through childhood to an insecure teenager, the best and worst period of Snake's life.

She was also the person who allowed him to experience for the first time the purest form of friendship he had experienced in all the years on this earth.

However, they drifted apart, pursuing different things in their work and life pursuits, and eventually parted ways.

So, they are very happy to be reunited again, with no hard feelings and quite positive about it all.

It's really the first time in years that they've been able to enjoy a hug together, now as real adults.

- How have you been, how's your work going, what kind of things are you working on at the moment? -

- I'm still counting numbers, the only difference is that I'm Head of General Affairs. -

Once he answered, Vincent exclaimed in admiration.

- Congratulations! That must be incredible. -

- It's convenient. Although now I feel like I'm living between a rock and a hard place. -

- You don't want to talk about work, message received. -

- What about you? I thought you were still alive... -

- I came back, things didn't work out for me. -

- I'm sorry. -

- It's okay, I'm much better now. -

- I'm glad. Are you still meeting with the others? -

- We don't really see each other anymore, but... We still have the occasional chat when we meet by chance on the street or in the store. -

- Maybe we can get together. -

His head is full of special memories, thinking back to the times where they always had random and aimless chats.

The group of friends and Snake had great chemistry when it came to conversations, and they liked to use peculiar turns of phrase on all sorts of topics that sprouted up between them.

We didn't need to act tough or be particularly considerate of each other.

They could easily expose their weaknesses, complain about parents and teachers, play games together, share hobbies, and wholeheartedly support each other's romances and goals.

Happy years that were built on a mountain of conversations and casual moments.

- It would be great, but we're all busy, Christmas and the average laying of twelve and thirty-six eggs is a terrible combination. -

Because he got caught up in all the emotions that came out of the meeting, Snake ended up missing out on the important things.

Once he realized that, Mr. Snake was suddenly brought back down to earth:

- Of course, they must be busy trying not to go bankrupt. -

The door bell rang again.

Vincent's eyes turned to the new customers:

- I have to work, maybe another time we can go for a drink. -

Snake has lived long enough to recognize empty promises, he tried not to let the disappointment of the refusal show on his face and politely said:

- That would be great. -

In the end, their meeting was like a shooting star, and they parted after that with a few smiles.

Before she could process it, Wolf added:

- Do you want a hug? -

- No. Why? No. Why? -

- You looked disappointed. -

The wolf has been through the same experience, and the first time is an earthquake of overwhelming emotions.

It's hard to imagine that the closest and most important people in your life just disappear, and forget about you, and you about them.

- Vincent was as kind as ever, realizing that filled me with joy, and that he is well is a relief. -

A smile blooms on Wolf's face:

- That's good. Tell me; which one is your house? Is it in this neighborhood? -

The reptile smiles teasingly at him again.

After eating, they passed by the supermarket, bought various products, ingredients and condiments for dinner, loading the things he had bought on Wolf's back and set off.

Amidst the diorama of alleys behind the houses, grassy dirt steps and old drains, they stand out as strangely vibrant.

From the roadside it looks small, but beyond the hills there are more hills, and each trail branches off into many other small trails.

A long path up the hill, with the breeze swaying the trees.

The deeper you go, the more it felt like you were wandering through a faun's maze.

Snake checked the direction written on the city map, and indicated to turn at countless intersections.

He wasn't sure if the map was poorly done or if it was just a terrible sense of direction, but they took a wrong turn and ended up taking a very circuitous route.

Although he had lived and grown up in this city, the scenery had changed in recent years and his memories had faded.

He was probably seeing more than half of the area for the first time.

After walking for about twenty minutes, they finally found a road that was marked on the map.

It was a steep road that led past a cemetery and a coffee farm.

To the right was a grove of trees, and to the left were houses lined up like a giant staircase.

Wolf fervently hoped that they would not have to keep climbing more than once he reached the top of this road.

She had walked this far in the blazing sun and was drenched in sweat as if she had just worked in the fields, and she wiped herself dejectedly with a towel.

For another thirty minutes while Snake led the way.

Finally, they arrived at Snake's old house.

As far as the eye could see, it was deserted, with broken tiles and rotting walls, grass and trees growing wildly; no one had lived here for years, it was old and dilapidated.

The walls are peeling like tree bark, moss covered the outer bricks, barely visible as white walls and gray bricks.

The snake's eyes rested on the small cracks in the wall, then turned to the rusted front door, the thought of staying overnight here. . .

This kind of environment was bound to make Snake unhappy and irritated.

- This isn't a house it's a mansion! -

The wolf shouted excitedly as he saw the size of the home.

- It's huge! -

- . . . Pythons lay more than thirty eggs, so my dad built it with the future in mind.

It really only has twenty rooms and only two bathrooms. -

The building is a red-roofed house, and next to the sliding glass door, the fallen tiles were scattered underfoot, and the potted plants lined up by the door were as dry as a desert.

Snake extended his tail and slid the door open with a snap.

A dusty, gritty smell came hissing out.

Inside they could see a dark corridor and a staircase, but frankly it looked more like a dungeon grotto than any kind of place where animals lived.

There was no sign of anyone living there.

- I understand why you didn't want to come, but your siblings? None of them wanted to have it as a vacation home or anything? -

- I'm an only child. -

- But you just said... -

- Snakes also have difficulty conceiving. -

The reptile looked inside again, everything was covered with dust, and there was a constant dripping sound emanating from somewhere inside the house, and a rotten smell permeated the air.

Regret violently shot through him.

It had been a mistake to come.

He was about to say they'd better go stay at an inn when the wolf interrupted him.

- There's one thing I've always wanted to do! -

- . . . What's that? -

The wolf bent down to pick up the snake in his arms, and walked straight into the center of the house like a husband welcoming his wife to their new home.

Snake smirks, rolling his eyes, and with a small blush he had to put his coils around the canine's neck and said helplessly:

- First we must clean up, and then the honeymoon. -

Wolf laughed out loud and then put the snake back on the floor.

From the walls hung framed photographs in black and white as well as color, showing family events.

Seeing those photos against the damp, yellow walls gave her a strange, uncomfortable feeling.

Those sweet memories turned to despair the longer she stared at them, becoming a heavier weight on her heart.

- Do you think your parents would like me? -

Wolf asks next to her, also looking at the pictures, he didn't even realize he was there.

- I'm sure they would, you're a very nice guy. -

- Nice enough to accept me as a son-in-law? -

- . . . I like to think so. -

- I think it would be. Look at this wall, you can tell they loved you too much. -

It's extremely nice and comfortable to hear him say that, causing a smile to escape the snake.

From somewhere, they faintly heard the sound of water dripping into a sink.

They went to the dining room.

The table was large enough to accommodate four people and was covered with a dirty tablecloth with a large brown stain on it.

The lampshade that hung from the ceiling is covered with dust.

The cupboard along the wall is still full of dishes and bowls.

Next to the cupboard was an antique red rotary phone.

And when they saw the sink they noticed that it is rusty, it was also covered with dust and completely dry, and when the wolf opened the faucet handle not a single drop of water came out.

- What did the water people tell you? Should we call them? -

- You don't have to. That usually happens, there might be a problem in the water source, every now and then a leaf gets stuck blocking the flow. -

- Water source? -

- The house gets water from the mountains, it flows through a hose, the well will have to be checked. -

- They are . ...geniuses! That's how you break the system! Please tell me they also have solar panels. -

- Heh. Sorry to break your fantasies but No; We use the electric company. -

The wolf pretends to be heartbroken.

- The power supply is behind the house, go turn it on, I'll go check on the water. -

He pulls out an old rusty toolbox under the sink.

- I'll see if I can fix it, the well is deep in the forest, so it'll take me a while. Can you clean up in the meantime? -

- I'll take care of it. -

After turning on the electricity, he stored the food in the old worn out refrigerator that didn't close properly, so he had to slam it shut several times.

Then the wolf took out two pieces of cloth he brought beforehand.

He used one as a hood to keep his hair clean.

He tied the other to his face as a mask, to avoid inhaling dust and sneezing.

Plus rubber gloves as a countermeasure for an infection, and a worn apron he found with years of use, covered in stains and dirt from his days of fighting.

After finishing his attire, it was finally time to start cleaning.

The air was warm and stuffy inside the house.

The wallpaper was faded, and the furniture outdated.

He started with the hallway and communal rooms such as the kitchen and living room, as he wasn't sure if he was allowed into the bedrooms.

The house is narrow and dark, and he almost tripped when he tried to walk across the floor.

Seeing that the torn curtains left the rooms dark and unventilated, he removed them, and opened the windows to improve air circulation.

Even if the weather here was warmer than in the remote regions, the wind was still cold.

He decided on a triple combo of broom, wet cleaner, and wax to polish and wash the bathroom.

He took the duster, noticed that the rim is sticky, and suddenly realized that he must also clean the cleaning utensils.

But as long as there is no water he will have to just dust for now.

Basically, cleaning should be done from top to bottom.

He used the duster to reach the stained ceiling.

Then he swept the floor with the broom afterwards.

Interior cleaning required more work than usual, as he had to move the furniture aside in addition to tidying up.

She moved the various small items from the shelves outdoors and put them all together in one place where she could keep an eye on them, secured them from the beginning, to prevent them from breaking.

And he paid attention to the places that were prone to dust accumulation.

After the trip to the well, he finally returned to the house in an hour.

Snake entered the foyer and looked around, it is significantly better.

The wolf dusted and thoroughly polished the small items, vases and mirrors, then returned them to their proper places.

- You are very good at cleaning. -

After Wolf cleaned and tidied the room, she heard her boyfriend speak to her and hurried to respond:

- Thank you. After living with disgusting roommates I promised myself never to be that kind of person. And how did it go for you? -

- I just had to remove the pipe and clean it, let's see if there's any water yet. -

They returned to the kitchen, and when the snake turned on the faucet handle, a fine cascade of water came out.

They both celebrated as if their team had scored a goal.

- Great, now I can clean the bathroom, it's full of fungus. -

- Oh... Wolf, if you want we can go to a hotel, it's on me. -

- Why? -

- Because this place sucks and you're my guest, and instead of enjoying your vacation you're my concierge. -

- I prefer the title; Master of the House, and I offered to help you. -

- I know, but I didn't expect the dimensions of this disaster. -

- It's okay, it's funny, I'm helping to build an inn. -

- Calm down, I haven't decided what to do with this house yet, at best I might sell it. -

- A mansion in good condition will raise your asking price. -

- . . . Just tell me when you get tired and we'll go stay somewhere else. -

Wolf hugged him, kissed his little face and said:

- I'll keep that in mind. -

- I clean the bathroom, how about cleaning my room, it's where we are going to stay.

It's the second room on the right, if you need sheets the closet is in the first room on the left. -

- Is that a free pass to see what young Snake was like? -

- Too late, all my stuff is stored in the attic and you won't see a shred of it. -

Wolf sighing in his heart, but still said:

- You won't be able to keep it from me forever. -

After that statement, Wolf went and removed the blankets from the wooden bed and took them outside to bask in the sun, then shook them vigorously.

A cloud of dust billowed around.

No doubt they couldn't stop sneezing if he slept on them.

When Snake went to the bathroom, he saw for the first time what was left of the cramped room with no window, only a torn shower curtain hanging down.

Like the sink, the cluttered, rusty shower was always fickle.

Every time the temperature was set, it would spray hot and warm water alternately.

The walls, floor and ceiling are black and filled with a sticky substance, and the corners of the room are covered with mold.

There was an unpleasant odor mixed with various smells.

Snake couldn't tell if it was feces or urine, as well as the smell of mold and some other strange odor.

He endured the nausea and took a breath before going inside, thinking that in the future he definitely had to keep the house nice and clean and not be so disgusting.

The next thing was scrubbing and cleaning.

They cleaned the walls, the floor and even the window panes.

Wolf wipes the fogged up windows with a rag, picks up fallen leaves and cleans the mop that was left outside.

They were so preoccupied with cleaning that they didn't realize the sun was setting.

The clothes that were taken out of the washing machine are drying on the clothes racks and the living room is in a state where you could see the wooden floor.

As the sun was setting, the wolf picked up the sheets from the shopkeeper and folded them.

He ironed some of the clothes, there was an ironing board in the house.

One will get hungry when doing physically demanding work, so Snake went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

The cleaning is finished, and they will continue tomorrow.

The important parts of the house had been cleaned, not dusty but the air had a musty smell, perhaps because there were eighteen other rooms left to clean.

But this is their home and it was like being in a dream.

Although there was still an atmosphere of abandonment in the air and a slight dampness that spoke of a long absence, it was much better than when she found it.

There was something unreal about his memories of that house where he lived a large part of his life, strangely enough, even though he was back, he was not overcome with the slightest hint of homesickness.

A confused and fatigue-soaked Snake put a greasy, sticky frying pan on the gas stove and opened the refrigerator.

While waiting for the pan to heat up with the oil, he placed the ''bacon'' and egg on the counter, and broke open the bag of salt they bought at the store.

He took the package of ''bacon'' and put one after the other, turning them over with the spatula along with the sounds of the oil popping.

As the oil slowly seeped in, the ''bacon'' began to brown and turn crispy, after flipping the strips of ''meat'', it spilled the egg whites spreading over the ''bacon''.

After a short time the egg began to solidify as it hit the hot pan, then he poured a few pinches of salt.

After seasoning and started steaming.

Carefully poured a cup of water into the pan, suddenly the oil jumps as if dancing, a slow crackle appears, then steam.

He quickly covered it with the lid, waited for two minutes while he listens as the sound began to subside.

When most of the water had evaporated, he removed the lid.

Now it is an egg benedict of ''bacon'' with a wonderful fragrance.

He slowly slides the ''bacon'' egg onto the white plates, adding the croissants they bought at the old and only bakery in town.

Then the wolf and the snake sat around the dining table and ate dinner together while talking about trivial things, before they knew it, this kind of habitation had become so natural and familiar to them that it made them smile.

As they split the outside of the yolks with that sticky yellow that started to flow, getting some of the well cooked fried bacon.

Enjoying the crispy strips with that nice sticky half cooked egg yolks as the fragrance of the ''meat'' and yolks mingled with the little bit of salt, along with the warm, toasted croissant.

Finished with the meal, they left the now empty dishes in the rusty sink and went to the bathroom to wash all the dirt off their bodies before going to bed.

They took a shower together to wash off the sweat and then sat on the bed, exhausted as if they had just been hiking in the mountains.

On the other hand, they had just hiked up and down the hills of the village under a hellish sun.

That night they turned off the bedroom lights and looked at the night sky through the window before falling into the arms of morpheus.

.

.

The next day they did the same procedure as yesterday.

They opened wide the windows and the front door to let in the outside air.

The bright sunshine and cooling breeze made the inside of the house suddenly light up.

They filled the buckets with water and wiped the windows one by one with a rag.

It looks like it will take a lot of time and effort because the dust is terrible outside.

They went in and out with wooden basins, hastily cleaning the wing residences and hind quarters.

They took a few breaks for lunch.

They kept dusting the ceilings, swept the floor, scrubbed and wiped everything down as a finishing touch.

Another full day of cleaning went by, and they got everything done before the sun went down.

Before they went to bed.

Snake boiled some water inside.

The extra moisture would help make this arid season bearable and also help prevent colds.

A common practice his mother did.

There was no one in the lobby, so Snake turned around and went straight to the back door.

Behind the door was a porch.

The yard was dark and only the moon shed light.

She looked out and saw the lone figure of her boyfriend sitting on the porch.

In the moonlight he could faintly see the outlines of the plants as well as their branches, as if they were claws reaching deep into the night.

The reptile entered the garden and sat down beside him.

The light, lingering scent of plants and flowers hung in the air.

Suddenly a gust of wind came, scattering the faint fragrance and causing some flowers and leaves to float down.

In the distance several lights had already been turned on, and by the light filtering through the gaps in the curtains of the surrounding houses, they imagined warm and harmonious scenes.

- Are you all right? -

Snake asked in a soft voice, and clung to Wolf's cold hand.

- Yes. Why wouldn't I be? -

He replied cheerfully, however, that smile of his seemed somewhat stiff.

With eyes full of sadness, he forced the corners of his lips upwards.

- Don't lie. You're already regretting it, aren't you? -

- No.

- Then why do you have that look on your face? -

- The internet is very bad. -

The wolf confessed in a pitiful state, not daring to look at the snake's eyes that lost all sympathy in that instant, as he continued to complain:

- The basic cable is terrible, there are no board games and the books are not to my liking. It's 7:15 and we're already going to sleep! -

Snake agrees that his mother's books are of peculiar taste, and asks:

- And what else could we do? -

There were a few moments of silence between them as the leaves continued to blow in the wind.

Wolf and Snake embraced in a deep kiss, opening their mouths and allowing their tongues to dance together in the heat of the moment, falling to the ground, stroking each other every extra inch of thickness that sends their lust into overdrive.

And so the two spent the rest of the days side by side:

.

Snake is ''squatting'' applying some plaster to repair the walls, while Wolf mows the lawn in a wicker straw hat, wearing a thin short-sleeved shirt, revealing his thin but strong arms as his sweat glistened in the sun as if smeared with oil.

Then, the panting wolf is watching as the reptile bounces on his lap, swallowing his cock as hard as he can inside him, twitching and thrashing his sensitive nerves that craved it.

.

Wolf is sitting at the top of a tall A-frame ladder with a metal toolbox with the lid open to reveal a variety of maintenance tools inside.

The wind was strong last night and they heard some rattling, it sounded like the boards are a little loose.

Snake shows him how to skillfully use those tools to set the corners of the boards in place, drive nails and smooth the edges.

Then he put on gloves and applied a coat of protective paint, and the shingles on the roof, which were warm and strong, were plastered with lime and cement to prevent water seepage.

The snake thanked him by lovingly licking him again and again before sucking him off.

.

For every day of rigorous work, the house had taken on a whole new look, and the reptile was driving him crazy by bringing his cock back to life with no problem getting another load of cum out of him, not only had the most important things been repaired, but the door had been repainted, and . . . and . . . .

- It looks like we've been trying to sweep the dirt under the rug. -

declares the reptile, admiring the house from the outside.

- You can't expect to repair an entire mansion in just a few weeks. -

comforts the wolf, closing his arm around his boyfriend's neck.

- Actually, I think we've come a long way. -

Growled the wolf with a double meaning, before closing his mouth with a forceful kiss.

Their wild tongues licking every inch, biting each other's lips as they savored each other in a deep, intimate kiss between them.

- I've never seen you so enthusiastic. -

Wolf said still smiling, looking as fresh as a flower after a much needed watering.

The tip of the reptile's tail trailed along his chest.

- Keep it a secret, but I've been imagining that I hired you to repair my house and I didn't have the money to pay you. -

He confesses with a smile that was once affectionate, darkened to a playful perversion.

All Wolf knew in his mind; that he had become a whirlwind, was that he felt his heart beating rapidly as it warmed to the point that it seemed to smoke.

Not even a minute later, Snake felt his handsome wolf pull him against his fluffy chest and ask:

- And does the skipper need me to do anything else? -

- No. -

- Huh? -

- I'm calling it a day, Christmas is coming and I'm not an exploitative boss. -

Added the snake in a comforting tone as she slithered closer to her boyfriend.

- You're very generous Mr. Snake, but you owe me a very nice tip anyway. -

The wolf demanded in a soft, sweet tone, chuckling as he watched his boyfriend's feigned expression of surprise turn into an acted shyness.

- I have it in my room. -

She replied with a seductive laugh, pressing her forehead against Wolf's.

- Let's go get it. -

Wolf cooed starting to walk, licking his lips with lustful hunger.

On the bed, Mr. Wolf eagerly collected his payment.

The hot shaft plunged several inches into Snake's mouth who feels the smooth, moistened surface of the penis sliding inside his oral cavity.

At the same time, Wolf's cock felt the soft, delicately moistened surfaces of Snake's mouth, touching and covering him, making him take a deep breath through his nose before initiating.

Without wasting a second, Wolf's hips jerked forward; sliding quickly and smoothly in a single thrust.

The sheer stinging length of the wolf's thick cock slid across the forked tongue slick with saliva and buried itself deep in the throat, luckily Snake had had enough practice dealing with such things.

The canine began to move his hips rhythmically, his paws closed around the pair of plump cheeks for leverage as his hips moved back and forth, burying his cock deep each time.

He bucks his hips firmly, driving his inch after inch into her happily grunting mouth, further stimulating his throbbing cock in her hot, spasming throat, milking him, making him release spurts of pre inside her boyfriend.

At first, her rhythm is irregular, but she quickly settles into a smooth, steady rhythm, plunging deep into the snake's deep throat, thanks to her firm grip that allowed her to press and ram every inch of his cock into the older man who gladly accepts as her rhythm slowly increased.

Snake struggles to breathe through his nose and can taste the predator's seed seeping into his mouth, really enjoying the simple pleasure of a cock in his mouth, with its texture and warmth.

The fat tip could go to the back of his tongue without gagging him, as his mouth is wide and flexible enough, and he could open it wider to capture the thickness closer to the base.

A wet sound emerges each time the heavy ball sack swings and slaps gently against the reptile's chin.

The forceful caress on the face was having an effect on the major, encouraging his own pointed lengths to emerge to rub against the soft sheet with each mighty slap of testicles jolting his body.

That's when he felt the movement in his coiled body, sliding along his coil, emerging from the confines of his slit, a pair of limbs come out to greet.

He closed one eye and grunted in surprise at the sensation, his body telling him how stiff he is.

Snake moaned around Wolf's thick cock, as his muzzle was pressed down as far as he could, lewdly kissing over a plump sheath with each deep-throating thrust.

At the same time, Wolf loves the sensations of Snake's mouth around his cock, enveloping him in warmth and sucking him so gently.

The tongue suddenly reached out and wrapped around the shaft of the cock.

The delicious touch made the wolf's member throb, spraying more preseminal fluid from the tip.

Snake moved his long coiled tongue to the left and then to the right, feeling the member respond again and again with more throbbing pleasure.

Wolf didn't want to waste any time, placing his maw over one of those penises of his boyfriend's and sucked gently.

Brief muffled moans were heard as he did his best to please the reptile, quickly pressing the tip of his snout against the very base of Snake's opening as the length of the twin cock throbbed against his long snout.

As he slides his hand down the front and presses his palm firmly on the hardness of the second groin.

Being a snake, Wolf could easily reach the private parts with his face.

With base of the reptile's cock pressing against his chin, his canine tongue licked under the cock until it crashed into the hole hidden inside the cleft of his slit, Snake's own back door!

Lashes of the wet tongue danced over the snake's hole in rapid movements, as the number one cock writhed against his snout and the second was slowly rubbed against the hot, rough skin of his hand.

The snake began to purr, loving the sensation of his three erogenous parts being pleasured at the same time.

His cocks hardened even more, almost at full throttle, his reptilian tail slapped against the wolf's body and he ended up hugging the jet, thanking him for the lewd attention.

Wolf didn't have the luxury of being gentle and thrust the length of his tongue inside that previously lubricated hole and enjoyed how Snake shuddered at the sensation it created in his body.

Snake swallowed saliva holding back any moan the wolf wanted him to sound, instead he drooled over his shaft, moving his head just an inch back and forth, stimulating the length with his warm, slippery forked tongue.

She wrapped herself tightly around Wolf's shaft, squeezing it with her lips as she pulled and licked the head of that penis, drinking the droplets of pre-seminal fluid that mingled with her own slimy saliva.

As Wolf licked over the soft pink walls inside Snake's body, with the reptile's cock writhing against his palate, droplets of saliva running down his chin and his paw was a blur, working on the second shaft.

With the new level of sensitivity, from the wolf's triple attack he couldn't even dream of winning this battle.

A twist of the canine tongue made him tense, he could feel the rising surge of sperm anxious to finally break loose.

Then cruelly he wolf withdrew as quickly as he came from his tight depths, only to give him one last quick lick on his sensitive flesh to then say:

- Let's close the deal. -

He looked up through tears as the words echoed in his mind just as Wolf said them, the clerk obeyed and pulled it out of his mouth, a long strand of drool connecting his lips to the wolf's shaft snapping as he turned around.

He knew what he wanted and did not resist the submissive urge to lean forward with a twist of his serpentine lower body, allowing his slit to bulge upward and he tilted his head down with his long neck on the pillow with his heart pounding with giddiness as he presented his ass to Wolf.

The mixture of pre-seminal fluid saturating the surface of his shafts also drooled slowly towards his stretched ass, the pucker already looking a little red from the stretch Wolf's tongue gave him.

To accentuate her submission, Snake stretched with his tail the opening of her entrance in an obscene welcome.

He knew what was coming, and his heart pounded in his chest, waiting for the next move.

The glans of the canine shaft slapped against her puckered entrance, a shuddering moan escaped the reptile's lips.

The fat tip struck just a little, sliding along Snake's opening, spewing a hot amount of pre-seminal fluid through that entrance and smearing him.

Wolf gripped his base, pushing his member against that hot ring of flesh, he curved his lips into a smile, before driving his tip against that backside and slowly beginning to push inward, stretching the snake.

Snake moaned aloud at the sheer explosion of pleasure he got from being stabbed by Wolf's thick, fat cock, feeling the plump nuts slap against his own flesh in a lewd way.

Wolf's paws held the coils to steady him as he slowly pulled his tip out and slammed back inside, the gentle puppy nature was forgotten, replaced by the need and desire to fuck this snake.

The tight, velvety warmth of her loins, the way she hugged his cock and begged for more, made him burst into primal passion, he thrashed his paws on the bed and his rhythm became erratic and sloppy.

He couldn't hold on, couldn't stop.

He thrashed as deep as he could, making the reptile squeal.

The room echoed with her moans and grunts, with those wet, desperate strokes emphasizing their primal union.

With orgasm on the horizon, Snake lay back on the mattress, his eyes rolled inside his head as he practically drooled from pleasure overload, giving himself up completely for the wolf's personal use.

A hot spark of pleasure ran down his spine as Wolf's length slammed into that spot, squeezing that part firmly and he'll come over the edge with another lewd moan.

The twin sticky cocks rising between Snake's slit gave a heavy splurge of preseminal fluid, unconsciously and reflexively squeezing around the canine shaft hard from the root milking a hard stream of presemen as the wolf moaned.

Snake too engrossed in the satisfaction of stretching his entrance around that cock, curved his coils a little more, pressing his exposed, slightly sweaty opening against Wolf's groin, panting.

The reptile's moans came out free of any attempt to hide his excitement, as the lower part of his belly connecting to his entrance bulged from the obscene member working its way inside him.

She screamed the wolf's name over and over again, saying how good it feels, and how much she loves him . . .

- I love you! -

The smile turned from ecstasy to a mixture of embarrassment and mortification as he realized he just said for the first time; I LOVE YOU, to his boyfriend.

Oh SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!

He opened his eyes and in the dim darkness of the room, he could make out the familiar pair of illuminated golden eyes looking up at him, they looked somewhere between upset with surprise and excited.

The world around him seemed to be put on pause, so many emotions ran through Snake's mind, all he could concentrate on was simply continuing to stare into Wolf's eyes in a certain panic.

While the canine felt so ready and excited in a way he never imagined he could have been before.

- I love you too! -

Her warm hands cupped her boyfriend's face, pulling him into a deep kiss.

Her tongue lashed the reptile's mouth like, and there's no better way to put it; a savage snake, reigniting the older man's inner lust like a barrel of explosives that evaporated any fear that existed in his head.

That savage tongue harassed the defenseless snake's mouth, licking every inch, biting her lips as she savored the first intimate kiss after the Te Amo.

Once again, Wolf's baby sack of babies slapped hard against Snake's own, dog slobber dripping from his lips, their tongues had fallen out as they moaned mindlessly and the base of the fat nub rubbed on Snake.

The front of Wolf's balls became slippery with bodily fluids, causing wet slapping noises as they came in contact against the reptile's wall of flesh.

The hands grabbed him once more holding him steady before leaning forward and over the snake, he began to deliver a series of sharp, hard lunges in and out.

The snake had to bite the bed sheets and try not to tear them as the meat wand is breaking his mind.

With him wolf on top, he has all the power; Fucking and pumping inside her body with all his might as if nothing else mattered in the world.

Pounding Snake's rear end with such vigor that the jets of pre-seminal fluid he had poured into the reptile began to ooze from the taut hole.

Snake groaned as he struck again against that spot inside him buried deep in his cavity.

Little jolts of pleasure shot through her spine, rolling her eyes as she moaned shamelessly and more of her hot pre spilled from her twin shafts, splattering the wolf and wetting the bed.

And Wolf's low snorts of pleasure told him he's close too.

As the thrusts became louder and louder.

Snake moaned low, beginning to shudder at the steady pounding in his prostate, nearing his peak.

Pleasure erupted between them as the wolf painted the inner walls with his hot semen, barking in orgasm, finally easing the load from his balls with heavy, cum-squirting ropes down Snake's tunnel.

Snake could feel every pulse, every shot of cum and jolt against his ass.

With a loud groan, hot spurts of his seed spilled onto the sheets beginning to repeatedly wrap and squeeze Wolf's cock, milking him with orgasm.

The reptile gasped for air, his eyes closed in blissful heaven and Wolf's toes curled so that his body could withstand the immense pleasure coursing through him.

As the wave of pleasure slowly subsided, Snake opened his eyes and looked down at Wolf, still hugging him with his rings, keeping him safe from his exhaustion, their bodies still entwined by the canine knot.

Wolf leaned back on the edge of the bed, letting the two relax together, instinctively snuggling closer to Snake, his breathing warm as his golden eyes slowly roamed his boyfriend's body.

Wolf let out a soft laugh and said:

- I love you. -

Snake returned the comforting chuckle with his own sounds of contentment as he snuggled closer to his boyfriend's warmth to whisper:

- I love you. -

They grinned like fools, finally feeling themselves coming down from their intense climax.

After their sensual, loving moment together, before long, they felt so relaxed between their joined bodies that before long they felt sleepy, and soon fell asleep, with Snake serving as a cool blanket for Wolf, While Wolf served to be their warm bed as he lay on his body.

.

.

He leaned over and arched his back, feeling every bit of Wolf as he rested on his fur padded chest.

She continued to stroke Wolf's fur up and down, feeling a sense of connection with her boyfriend since they said Te Amo.

As the reptile's gentle caress continued, it was too much for Wolf to resist.

He closed his eyes and rested his muzzle against Snake's neck, breathing deeply of his boyfriend's sweet scent, feeling a sense of peace wash over him.

He was almost lost in the sensation of the fur when he suddenly felt Wolf's lips against his neck, sending a fierce pulse of pleasure throughout his body.

- I have something planned for you. -

Snake finally said as he turned around to look at him with a smile.

- We'll need to buy more lube. -

Wolf replied and couldn't help but feel a little sad when Snake got out of his arms to tell him:

- I mean some sightseeing. -

They advanced to the attic, the stairs creaking as they climbed and opened the door.

After opening the attic curtains, golden sunlight flooded the room and they could see the small dust particles floating in the air.

Earlier they briefly tidied up the place full of old cardboard boxes.

As the scaled one checks the things inside the boxes, out of the corner of his eye he saw Wolf approaching a box marked with black marker with the words; Snake's Stuff.

- Don't even think about it. -

He warned, showing his best angry snake face.

- The more you hide it the more I want to know who the young Snake was. -

- Cry because you'll never meet him. -

His Hippie and Punk phase should be thrown into the deepest, darkest pit on earth.

Wolf sat cross-legged on the floor feigning a pout as he waited for the surprise without taking his loving eyes off the older man.

As soon as he opened box number four, he raised his head to look at the wolf with a smile.

.

The mountain path was as Snake described it to the wolf.

Not easy to walk.

At first there is a narrow, winding path that had been made over the years by the footsteps of people going to and from the mountain.

The deeper they went, the wilder the wilderness grew, and little by little, the paths began to disappear.

Moreover, the rain had not dried up in the places covered by the trees, on the ground there were half-rotten leaves soaked in wet mud.

As they moved forward, it felt slippery, and they had to be very careful to keep their bodies balanced.

After walking for two hours, Wolf had the strong urge to give up, however, he is very competitive.

Unless he really can't move anymore, he won't be willing to admit defeat.

Therefore, even if he was so tired that his sweat was pouring down like rain and his breathing was like that of a cow with asthma, he gritted his fangs and kept pace with the snake so as not to fall behind.

Snake stopped and looked at Wolf.

As for Wolf's short answers in their conversation as they traveled, that was because the normal rhythm of his breathing was no longer sufficient to meet the oxygen needs of his lungs.

At this point, he has his muzzle open to breathe and did not have time to sacrifice his breath to speak.

The major said nothing and took out a thermos of water to take a few sips, it's easy to get thirsty after sweating so much.

He handed it to Wolf and then; he lifted his head and poured water down his throat, as if drinking nectar, as a cool mountain wind blew past them and left with the warmth of their bodies.

The brief rest was enough to relieve the canine's fatigue a little, and made him feel that the sensation after a sweaty workout was very pleasant.

He closed his golden eyes slightly and took a deep breath at the fragrance of the plants.

The mountains and nature here were the ones that should be considered real, due to the climate and natural environment, and not like the synthetic ones of Zootopia, with their insensitive expenditure of electricity in order to maintain the different types of ecosystems in an abiotic space that does not belong to them.

Here the grass and trees grow naturally like crazy, they are very lush and flourishing.

Often they would find that the path is blocked by leaves and vines, and they had to clear them with a machete to get a path to walk on.

- Are you sure it's this way? -

Asks the wolf cutting through the tough vines.

With a smile the reptile catches a vine, and shakes it so that a shower of wild cherries hit their heads, and then answers:

- I'm sure. -

The snake will teach him the pleasure of picking wild fruits.

Raspberries with dewdrops, wild blackberries and also berries that are very tart.

They gathered everything they saw and kept it for themselves, this made them laugh a lot as they played; Who Gets More, enjoying eating while walking.

At noon, they rested at a place where the stream was flowing and where there were few plants to sit and watch the cool and nice scenery along the way while enjoying some ''Sausage'' Rolls.

They continued walking through an area of bare rock with precarious foundations and from there up a path that led to an observation platform.

They made their way through brush and through trees, where the grass grew tall and made it difficult to walk.

They continued over the uneven terrain and reached the open spot after climbing the slope for about two hours.

The sight that awaited when they arrived made all their worries up to that point disappear.

Forgetting the pain in his feet, Wolf let out a gasp and lost himself in the view from the observatory; It's beautiful.

He could spy from the periphery of his vision, and between the trees a space had curiously opened up that allowed him to gaze upon a panorama of picturesque beauty.

White clouds floating in the sky where he could see a city spread out in the distance.

Below his gaze, the surface of the landscape spread out in a brilliant emerald green.

The earth, the rocks, the gentle gusts of water in the rivers, their colors embellished the scene.

It was completely different from the view from below.

The heat was intolerable, but now I was sincerely grateful for the sunny weather of the day.

As he looked at the city that seemed smaller, the clouds and the dense green of the mountains he felt a cool but gentle touch on his hand.

Holding hands/tail they enjoyed the scenery before grabbing their gear and starting to set up camp as the western sun began to shine.

The place where they are is really good, there was no better place to sleep.

In the front was a flat cliff and not too high.

The grass was sparse, there was no need to worry about some suspicious animals lurking around.

Half a meter to the right was the big waterfall, where they could bathe and some big trees to protect them from the sun.

Wolf felt a burst of coolness coming from the forest behind them.

They chatted as they threw twigs on the fire and watched it burn with a crackling sound, the fire smoldered and the smoldering wood slowly turned to charcoal to cook the marshmallow S'mores.

And it was time to observe the constellations through a large astronomical telescope.

That was. . .

- It says here that you should see the constellation Andromeda. -

Speaks the snake checking the constellation application on his cell phone.

- I only see stars. -

Says the wolf looking through the telescope.

- Exactly where should I look? -

- Are you looking in the right direction? -

- How should I know? You're the star expert. -

- Me? No. The star expert was my dad. -

Anyway, they thought it was cool to look at the night sky and the moon.

- This reminds me of a time I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house and there was a full moon. -

Wolf narrates as they are about to go to sleep in the camping tent.

- It's a neighborhood prominently populated by wolves, and one night I thought it was fun to go out in the yard and howl. -

- Oh my god, did you really do that? -

asks the reptile with an amused smile.

- I woke everyone up, and I think we also woke up the neighboring neighborhoods. -

- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! -

- I felt so afraid of my parents after that. -

- Are you sure you're not a Bad Guy? It seems to come naturally to you. -

- Why? You like bad guys? -

- Maybe I do. -

Snake seemed to assess Wolf, peering over the hidden charm and the rest of his body.

He had an incredibly bright curiosity about the world, like a child going for a walk for the first time in his life.

But he didn't have a look of innocence about him.

There was a flash of sharp cunning that suited his youthful and attractive appearance.

- But I like a Good Boy better. -

Hearing this made Wolf smile quietly, but his enthusiasm was indicated by his tail wagging from side to side.

The night had turned cold and Wolf is a warm welcome for the snake, he feels so relaxed with his presence that in no time he felt sleepy.

He didn't even feel Wolf took the opportunity to hold his coils and let his body temperature keep him warm.

They returned home after three days of camping.

After waking up and having breakfast.

They were packing up their luggage, when an elderly Snake couple greeted them and made small talk in what led to information about a new trail that was built a few years ago, much safer and easier to climb.

Snake avoids Wolf's eyes, but could feel that he was trying to pop his head with telekinesis as they descended the mountain on the new shorter path.

.

.

The Christmas mood has become denser as the date approaches.

Snake's entire childhood home has become one hundred percent CHRISTMAS after finding the decorations in the attic.

Every time they turned on the TV, there were endless commercials for gifts and special events.

The radio and background music in all the stores played the familiar Christmas tunes, and a variety of Santa Claus artwork and dolls you could see on the streets.

Lined up next to the old house with several light bulbs, shining so bright it hurts the eyes, Wolf and Snake are planning to have a simple barbecue to celebrate Christmas Eve.

The sky is also perfectly clear tonight, all full of stars.

The snake is in charge of chopping the vegetables and the ''meat'', while the wolf prepares the grill and other things.

In the yard there was already an old table full of marinated ''meat'' wrapped in cling film and two chairs.

Wolf quickly lit the fire, and asked Snake to come over to get started.

They put the ''chicken'' wings on the grill, and Wolf took care of turning the wings, and the ''pork and lamb meat'', sprinkling some pepper and other seasonings.

Snake prepared the vegetables on the side, using a skewer stick to skewer the mushrooms, cucumbers and potatoes.

He was skewering kabobs for a while and then slipped into the house to put on a coat, the wind is getting colder, and comes back with a plastic bag full of cookies in the shape of trees, and a small Santa Claus cake.

When everything is ready, they sat down at the table to eat the dishes; ''chicken'' wings, pork belly, ''chicken'' sweetbread skewers, and ''lamb'' skewers.

- How did you feel? -

The reptile started the conversation and the wolf answered:

- Pretty good. Why the question? -

- I know this vacation hasn't been what you expected. -

- Oh yes, half of it was pretty terrible. -

When he heard the words, Snake felt the blood drain from his face, he looked up at the wolf in fear, opened his eyes and exclaimed:

- Really?! -

He was also under the illusion that the pores on his body had just opened.

- But it was fun! It has been the best way to Form Memories; In the future I will think back on this vacation and say: I really was an idiot in love. -

Raised his voice the wolf as he lifts the beer mug and gives a loud laugh.

Snake a little relieved laughs back:

- Heh . Thank you so much for coming here. -

- I told you it's been great, you don't have to thank me like it's a favor.

I'll tell you a secret, lately I feel like my brain goes into automatic mode, because all of a sudden I see that time went by so fast that I didn't even notice.

It's like I'm turning into a zombie that only moves because it has to pay the bills!

Coming here helped me get out of that living dead routine, and get back to living in the present. -

- The same thing happened to me, I came to Zootopia in my twenties and in the blink of an eye I was over forty. -

- That sounds scary. -

- It is scary, I must learn from you and form more memories. -

- The good thing is we can do it together. -

Said the wolf gently stroking with his fingers the line of the reptile's eyebrows.

It was only until eleven o'clock at night that the barbecue party ended.

They each took their share of the cheap fireworks they bought at a hardware store and a bucket of water.

With the old wolf lighter, they began by lighting the harmless hand-held fireworks that perform their chorus of crackles and pops, the multicolored sparks scattering leaving trails of light behind them.

They drew tangles in the air and even lit two at a time, and giddily played with the flares as if they were light sabers.

When the hand-held fireworks were extinguished, they placed cylindrical fireworks fountains on flat rocks and lit it.

Fully expanded balls of sparks, shooting vague strands of light, were ejected from the cylinders, dimly illuminating the outlines of the wolf and snake.

They lost their radiance in an instant and turned to ash, fleeting as a life burning away.

Leaving behind them a rising column of smoke.

. . . They did not burst as high as they imagined and burned in an instant.

Wolf and Snake looked at each other, then burst out laughing, having fun like teenagers getting into mischief.

They dumped the water from the bucket into the burnt debris, picked up the remains of the fireworks, the rest of the trash and dumped it in the dumpster before heading upstairs to the room.

Snake turned on the radio next to the bed, tuned it to a random frequency and let the static music play.

They sat side by side on the old mattress for the gift exchange.

Snake looked on in amazement as he unwrapped his gift: a beautifully carved old Coo Coo Clock.

The same one he saw in the antique store.

He held back quite a while and finally came out with this kind of sentence:

- This is very expensive. -

The very aggrieved wolf scolded:

- What you should say is: I love it! You are the best boyfriend in the world, I LOVE YOU. -

- . . . I love it. -

In the snake's head he is thankful that he didn't buy the Jade ring or any other absurdly expensive jewelry.

Wolf doesn't intend to let it go so easily and insists with a :

- Y. . . -

- . . . I love you. -

That's all you'll get from Snake.

- You should be more honest with your feelings. -

Reproached the wolf before opening his gift.

- A portable projector? Oh! This will be great for my couponing classes! -

- I thought you might use it to watch movies, because of that time you talked about your dream house and how you wanted to have a home theater, but it's your present so do what you. . . . -

His slightly open lips met the wolf's, it was only a few seconds when Moe pulled away with an audible: MUAC!, giving him one of his most radiant smiles.

- Snake you're a genius! When we get back I'm going to start the tradition of Movie Night.

Snake smiled and leaned in, his lips brushed Wolf's neck who also smiled as he gave his lover what he desired.

At midnight, a small door in the wooden clock opened automatically, and a small bird in a suit and top hat, slowly walked out and made a clear sound, "Coo, coo, coo..."

Lying in bed after their interesting time together, and listening to music on the radio, they slept soundly in bed until the alarm woke them up.

Wolf pulled back the curtains and the morning light came in.

A flock of sparrows flew in the sky, and the father's voice arguing that he need not ask directions reached Wolf's ears through the window.

.

Time marched on, and the end of the year approached.

In the blink of an eye, the town is in high spirits for the New Year's celebration because everyone is ready to buy things.

Under the hustle and bustle, the sky slowly darkened.

Wolf and Snake had an early dinner of small snacks, and went out into the streets permeated with the smell of food.

As they walked they chatted happily, surrounded by snakes slithering in small groups to meet and hang out together, filled with the joyful laughter of couples, friends and families.

Everyone came out onto the street to watch the fireworks display.

Many stalls and houses still had their Christmas lights hanging.

They stretched down the long streets, looking like a belt of colors that snaked through the town, illuminated by small points of light.

The resulting effect was breathtaking, as if a river of stars was manifesting on the earth.

Under the light bulbs and the intertwining shadow, as if the stars themselves were falling on the golden scales, they accentuated a dazzlingly beautiful glow, which made Wolf unable to take his eyes off Snake.

They stopped in front of some small stalls, but bought nothing, other than the food and drink that demanded their attention.

Then they went to watch the street performers displaying their skills in the square, with a large number of observers, eagerly pointing and applauding the performances of dance, music, and acrobatics; a talented young Snake lit torches of fire and threw them up and down to make the spectators happy.

Time does not discriminate when you are having fun, and a loud sound of firecrackers suddenly burst.

The loud ''BANG" and huge red fireworks flew into the night sky, followed by orange, painting the sky beautifully.

The animals on the street stopped in startled shock and unconsciously all raised their heads in unison, including the stall owners.

Some excitedly pointed to the fireworks that lit up the sky in flashes of colored light.

The New Year had arrived to the whole world.

At that moment, children scurried up from behind, screaming as they snaked around to get a better view of the fireworks.

Their eyes fixed on the flashes of light in the sky, not looking at the road at all, and was about to collide with Wolf.

As they were about to collide, Wolf felt Snake grab his hand and pull him to him.

In the next moment, the children rushed past them like a gust of wind.

Snake was about to let go of his hand when the wolf opened his arms and caught him in a hug to say:

- Happy New Year. -

In the middle of the night wind, his voice was clear and pleasant, more intoxicating than a precious aged wine.

Snake felt his face was a little warm, smiled and hugged him tightly to tell him:

- Happy New Year. -

He felt touched that the two of them were the first to give each other a New Year's greeting.

Wolf let out a chuckle and planted the first New Year's kiss right on the snake's lips.

The act was swallowed by another burst of fireworks, as several other pyrotechnics exploded in the night sky.

Unconsciously, they parted their lips shining with happiness and bowed their heads again, attracted by the wonderful succession of the colorful fireworks bursting one after another, reflecting the raised faces in the street.

The fireworks stopped after a few minutes, while Wolf still wished there were more fireworks, Snake took his hand and they advanced forward.

They must give New Year's greetings, regardless of whether they were for acquaintances or not.

They really enjoyed this atmosphere and casually dealt with a few waves of animals who came to give them a New Year's greeting.

Compared to the hustle and bustle of a few hours ago, the whole town became particularly quiet.

By this time, the celebration was almost over, and there weren't many passersby on the street, they could only watch as they returned to their homes.

Finally, feeling tired, the wolf and the snake returned home to rest.

The wind was dry and cold, the sky was surprisingly dark and the air was filled with the unique smell of gunpowder, which was typical of the New Year.

The two slowly made their way along the dirt road, holding hands/tail, enjoying the first day of the New Year together and bidding farewell to the Old Year.

.

The next day is the second day of the New Year.

The sun slowly carved out the hour and soon it was noon.

The pace of life in a village is very slow.

At noon there were few pedestrians on the street, most of the inhabitants opting to stay home and sleep, leading a very healthy life.

Meanwhile Wolf bent over and folded his ivory shirt, finishing packing for his return tomorrow.

The underpants were neatly folded, the socks neatly rolled and the pants carefully stowed.

He smiled, a broad, genuine smile that lit up his face as he saw his meticulously finished work.

He walked out of the room and then got a slightly calculating look in his eyes.

Snake stands still staring at the closed door of his parents' old bedroom.

The one place he decided to keep exactly the same and wasn't allowed to enter even to dust.

- Do you want to talk about it? -

Murmured the wolf, moving closer so that his hand caresses over the shirt on his boyfriend's back.

- . . . They had me at an advanced age. . . It was bound to happen. . . But I still needed them. -

Snake's emotions are half-fluid, not yet fully solidified, therefore difficult to express in clear words, but still, he laid out how he felt.

Then he began to speak as if a dam had burst:

- I wanted to come and decide what to do with this house. ... But it's all so weird... I don't want to think about it. . . . -

Her quiet voice became slightly tearful, murmuring in a fleeting, barely audible voice:

- I'm not ready to think about it... I just. . . . I just want to keep hanging out and having fun. -

The thorn in Snake's heart was simply too big, so he couldn't ignore it, but he also couldn't move on like he was trying to.

- Without thinking about the annoying shit . . . Just acting unfettered, like back then, when he lived here, when there were the three of us. . . . Together. -

Maybe someday he'll be able to face it and make a decision, but today won't be that day.

Wolf wrapped his arms around the snake's body in a warm embrace, kissed her cheek and then told her:

- Do what you want. -

The next day they took the train to Zootopia.

Silhouettes of black mountains and lights of lonely villages flowed by, and every time they passed another unknown station, the faces of both of them bathed in a pale light.

Wolf just listen to the clattering of wheels on the rail joints, it was as if we were passing through the bowels of the night.

It is so pleasant that he felt sleepy.

He came out of his reverie in the train carriage when his cell phone sent out a soft alert:

TIGER GOES WILD AND ATTACKS ANYONE WHO COMES NEAR HIM.

ALL CITIZENS OF ZOOTOPIA ARE ASKED TO STAY OFF THE STREETS UNTIL THE POLICE CAN CONTAIN IT.

Wolf felt a sharp squeeze in his heart when he read the alert.

He looked around for Snake but found him peacefully sleeping among his coils.

Not wanting to wake him, he continued to watch the news with a slightly puzzled expression with each new piece of information that came out.

The train went on and on through the blackness of the night, to a new unknown challenge.
