Five months ago,

Danny took a breath. After so many days, after helping him feel welcome into the city, and finally getting a clue about another girl liking him, Danny was ready to try out the greatest challenge of his life.

Asking Stocking out to an date.

He felt a connection with her and felt like he should try. He walked up to the church and took a breath. He knocks on the door and saw Garterbelt opening it, looking a bit upset until he saw Danny.

"Oh, Daniel! This is a surprise." He said, thinking it was another person coming to bug him.

"Um, hey, Father Garterbelt. Is Stocking here?" Danny asked, nervous.

"Yeah, she and Panty are watching TV." He said, sighing.

Danny nods before Garterbelt let him in. Danny walked down the hall before spotting the angels flipping through the channels, bored out of their minds.

"Hey, girls," Danny said, clearing his throat.

Stocking peeks around the couch and saw him. She blushed before getting up.

"Hey, Danny." She said, shyly.

"So what brings the almightly ghost defender here?" Panty teased.

"Actually, I came to ask Stocking something," Danny said, blushing.

Stocking looked surprised. However, she kept herself calm before she dusted off her skirt. She waited as Danny tries to get his words to come out.

"Stocking? Would you..." Danny started, feeling his words get stuck.

'Come on, Fenton! You practice this a million times! You can say it! Danny thought before trying again.

"Would you like to go out with me? On a d-d-d-d-date?" He said, forcing the word out.

Both sisters looked shocked. Danny Fenton had just asked Stocking Anarchy out on a date?! Stocking looked surprised before she smiles.

"Of course! I would love to go on a date with you!" She said, feeling happy.

"Really?! That's a relief! I mean, that's great!" Danny said, glad she agreed to it.

Panty just stared at them. They have known each other for a month and Danny wants to date Stocking?!

"You were worried I would say no, were you?" Stocking asked, seeing how Danny looked relieved.

"I..don't have the best track record with dating. The only girl I was trying to get together with broke up with me before I could ask her." Danny said, remembering Valerie.

"Hey, unlike those other girls, I'm not going to dump you unless you turn out to be a huge jerk that playing on my feelings. But I know you, you wouldn't do that." Stocking told him.

"Yeah, I'm not Dash," Danny said, sighing.

Stocking nods, recalling that boy. Even if Danny never came here, she would never date that guy in a million years. Plus, she thinks Danny is a cute guy. She won't date him because he is Danny Phantom. Stocking liked Danny for who he was, and he was a great friend to her. To her, he was the best person she could meet. After all, she did fall for a ghost once.

"So, should I pick you up near the weekend?" Danny asked, blushing again.

"Sure. And one more thing before you go." Stocking said before kissing his cheek.

Danny blinks as his face turns red.

"Whether this workout or not, just know that I like you, Danny. I'm willy to give it a shot if you are." She said, looking bashful.

Danny could nod as he tried to move his legs. Seeing how he was acting, Stocking helped him to the door, knowing he wants to get ready for their date. Once Danny felt his legs working again, he said goodbye to her and went back to his apartment.

Stocking leads on the door, sighing heavenly.

"He asked me out. He asked ME out! Danny Fenton asked ME out on a DATE!" Stocking cheers.

She had on crush on the boy since she first saw him. Something that hasn't happened since she saw Patrick for the first time. While goofy at times, Danny was kind, nice, and very fun to be around. And just like her, he had a sister that get on his nerves at times. And now he asked her out. Stocking felt like she just had all the sweets in the world and none of them taste any better than the other.

"I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH THE BOY I LIKED!" Stocking cheered.

Garterbelt wanted to tell her not to yell in his church, but he heard what happened between them. As much as a handful she was, he knew Stocking was not like Panty.

A few days later,

Stocking awoke the next morning, humming to herself. Today was the day that she was going out with Danny. She couldn't wait. She giggles as she thought of how her day would go with the boy she loved.

Panty looks at her sister, seeing her acting just like she did when she fell for a ghost. Now, Panty had nothing against Danny. She did find herself liking him as well. While she didn't have a crush on Danny as Stocking did, but she was a little worried that Stocking was moving a bit too fast.

"Stocking, are you sure about this?" She asked.

"I'm sure. He's cute." Stocking said, brushing her hair.

"I can't deny that, but he looked like a dork asking you out," Panty said, smirking.

"Maybe, but I dreamed of this day! I haven't had this happen since I first saw Patrick!" Stocking said.

Panty flinches at that ghost's name. That was someone she never could bring herself to like. Even if he became her brother-in-law.

"So, is Danny going to pop that question to you?" Panty asked.

"No. I can tell he's too young. I want to take my time. I love him after all." Stocking said.

"We know! You have been saying that all week." Panty groans.

However, she was surprised when Stocking suddenly stood up and glared at her.

"Don't think I've forgotten what you tried to do last time I dated someone! I'm warning you right now, Panty. Try anything and I will make good on my threat to slice you into 666 pieces!" She told her.

"Chill! I like this one. He much more than a ghost after all." Panty said, trying to get her sister to calm down.

Stocking glares before huffing. She sat back down and started to grab her goth makeup.

"Still can't believe he ask you out," Panty said.

"Panty..." Stocking warned.

"CHILL! I don't mean that in a bad way." Panty said, groaning.

Stocking shook her head, she had a feeling Panty was up to something but she wanted to focus on this date of hers.

A few minutes later,

Danny arrives at the Daten City Chruch, wearing a suit that Jazz helped him pick out. He told Stocking he was taking her out to eat and see a movie before they do anything else on the date. He didn't get why Jazz got him and Stocking a spot at the Daten Angel's Cafe. That place wasn't even fancy and she had him wear a suit! Danny sighs before hiding the flowers behind him.

"Okay, Fenton. This is it. You waited all week for this and it's time to show how much of a person you can be. Without looking like a complete moron." Danny said before knocking.

The doors open and Danny's jaw drops at the sight of Stocking. She was wearing a blue dress that hugged her body nicely and had black gloves that reach her elbows. She had black lipstick on and her eyelids had black makeup on them. Her long blue/pink hair was tied into a single ponytail. She even wore black short heels

"Wow," Danny said, awestruck.

"Thank you." She said, knowing he was speechless.

Danny snapped out of it before bringing the flowers out.

"Um, here. I got these for you." Danny said, blushing.

Stocking smiles before taking the flowers. She smells them and smiles.

"Thank you, they're nice." She said.

"Yeah, Jazz help me find them. I was told they were called black goth flowers. Not sure how that works, but..." Danny said, blushing.

Stocking giggles, knowing he was nervous about today. And, if she was being honest, so was she.

"So, where are we going?" Stocking asked.

"Jazz...I mean, I got a place at Daten Angel's Cafe. I know it's not fancy or anything, but..." Danny was cut off when Stocking placed a finger on his lips.

"Danny, it's sweet you want to make this the best date, but please don't try to take the credit." She said, already knowing his sister did much more to help him.

"And I wouldn't mind eating there. I don't know why they throw angel in the name since they have no idea what angels even look like." Stocking said.

Danny could only nod as he blushed. Stocking removed her finger before kissing his cheek.

"Let's go." She said, taking his arm.

Danny nods and started to lead her into the city.

Gaterbelt and Panty watched the two leave and Gaterbelt smiled.

"I say he's good for her." He said, knowing that Danny treated Stocking well.

Panty sighs, still not sure about this. Again, she doesn't hate Danny. And she does trust him more than that ghost, but deep inside her, she was scared of losing her sister.

"I know what you're thinking, Panty. Don't." Gaterbelt said, surprising her.

"Stocking found someone that made her happy and you need to respect it. If God would let these two be together for the rest of their lives, so be it. No one has the right to take away their love." He said, turning away.

Panty blinks before looking back at the two new lovers. Panty looks down and bites her lip. She wasn't sure what to do.

Present Day,

Stocking yawned as she woke up. She looks at the calendar and smiles. Today was the fifth month anniversary of Danny asking her out. She was a little surprised she dreamed about that day. Panty kept her promise about staying out of it and Stocking had a great time with Danny. If they didn't have to deal with the sins, she would take Danny out on a date again. She turns to her sleeping boyfriend, smiling. She kissed his lips and kept smiling.

"I love you, Danny Fenton."

Okay, I was having trouble thinking of the fight with Gluttony, so I decided to hold off on that a bit longer. But to give you all something, I wrote how Danny asked Stocking out long before the sins were freed. I know I didn't cover their date, but without his friends or even the A-Listers, it wouldn't seem as fun without them. I'm not saying I wouldn't write it, I just didn't want to. But if you want to know, Danny and Stocking had a great time and take about the last time they've been on a date.

So Danny knows about Patrick and Stocking knows about Paulina and Valerie. The movie was a random one, I didn't bother thinking about the name. And they just walked around the city for a while. That's all I could think of. Hopefully, I cover the fight with Gluttony in the next chapter.
