Slowly stirring, my body felt heavy and weary as I fought against the fog of sleep. As I sat up straight, I noticed the dimly lit room around me, unfamiliar and unlike any place I had ever been before. Confusion clouded my mind as I tried to recall how I had ended up here.

Goddess Hestia lay beside me, sound asleep in a chair. Her peaceful expression eased my worries, and I didn't want to disturb her slumber. Careful not to make any noise, I took a moment to look around, hoping to gain some understanding of my surroundings.

The room itself was modestly furnished, with soft lighting casting a warm glow on the walls. Its atmosphere exuded a sense of tranquility and comfort.

Just as I was contemplating the peculiar nature of the room, the door swung open, revealing a god I knew quite well—Miach. He was a friend of Goddess Hestia and often provided me with free potions to aid in my adventures. Miach possessed long, dark blue hair that cascaded down his back, complementing his piercing dark blue eyes. He donned a black robe, adorned with a tan brown stole that draped past his shoulders, and sturdy brown shoes.

Ah, Bell, you're awake," Miach greeted me warmly, his voice carrying a gentle tone. "I'm glad to see you've finally regained consciousness. How are you feeling?"

His genuine concern washed over me, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for his presence. I replied with a hint of naïveté in my voice, "I feel a bit tired and sleepy, but I think I'll be alright."

Miach's gaze softened; his eyes were filled with understanding. "You've been through quite the ordeal, my young man. Rest assured, you're in a safe place now."

I nodded, absorbing his words, as my mind continued to piece together the fragments of memory from the battle with the silverback gorilla. I wanted to ask him more about this place, but I hesitated, not wanting to wake Goddess Hestia.

Noticing my hesitation, Miach smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry about Hestia. She has been keeping watch over you, ensuring your well-being. She insisted on staying by your side until you woke up."

Relief washed over me as I realized Hestia's presence. A deep sense of gratitude toward her filled me; I felt her presence and knew that she was there for me, even in my unconscious state.

"Thank you, Sir," I expressed sincerely. "I appreciate all the care and support you and Goddess have shown me."

Miach's smile widened, his kindness radiating through his eyes. "It's my pleasure, Bell. Now you should rest. Those blue tips are a fascinating fashion choice, though." With that, he left the room.

After Miach had bid me farewell and left the room, I found myself sitting in silence, my thoughts drifting aimlessly. It was then that my gaze fell upon my own reflection, and I caught a glimpse of my messy, white hair. But as I examined it more closely, a startling discovery awaited me—interspersed among the white strands were a few blue hairs.

Confusion washed over me as I ran my fingers through my hair, feeling the silky texture and noticing the vibrant hue of the unexpected blue streaks. How had this happened? Why were there blue streaks among my white ones?

Before I could ask any questions about my hair, I noticed that Caster had been silent. With a mix of curiosity and gratitude, I mustered the courage to call out to him within the confines of my mind. To my surprise, his voice resounded within me, answering my call.

"Caster, are you there?" I asked tentatively, my voice filled with a hint of naïveté.

"Of course, I'm here, Master." Caster's voice replied, brimming with a sense of confidence. "I must say, that battle with the silverback gorilla was quite intense. You were on the verge of defeat, so I took the liberty of stepping in for a brief moment to lend you a helping hand."

A rush of gratitude swept over me as I comprehended Caster's words. He had intervened to save me from certain defeat, utilizing his own prowess to turn the tide of the battle. The weight of his actions settled upon me, and I couldn't help but express my sincere appreciation.

"Caster, I can't thank you enough," I replied, my voice filled with genuine gratitude. "I didn't know what to do, and your assistance made all the difference. I owe you a debt of gratitude."

Caster chuckled, a hint of amusement lacing his voice. "Ah, master, there's no need to worry about it. As your servant, it is my duty to aid you in your endeavors. Besides, it was an opportune moment for me to finally get some action, though I am a bit annoyed that I didn't have my spear."

I couldn't help but smile at his playful response; his words warmed my heart. Although he had a joking nature, he was someone I could trust with my life.

As my conversation with Caster came to a close, I felt a gentle stir beside me. Turning my attention towards Goddess Hestia, I watched as she slowly awakened from her slumber. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing a mix of relief and worry that washed over her delicate features.

"Bell!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion. Without a moment's hesitation, she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a tight embrace. Her grip was firm yet gentle, as if she never wanted to let go. Tears welled up in her eyes as she held me close, and her voice quivered with a mixture of relief and scolding.

"I can't believe you did something so reckless!" Hestia exclaimed, her voice choked with emotion. "I was so worried about you!" She paused, taking a deep breath before continuing. "You're alive... I'm so glad you're alive! Don't you ever scare me like that again, you silly boy!"

Her words pierced my heart, and I could feel the weight of her concern and affection pouring out in each tear that fell from her eyes. It was a bittersweet moment, knowing that my actions had caused her such distress, yet also feeling the warmth of her love and protection.

"I'm sorry, Goddess," I whispered, my voice laced with remorse. "I didn't mean to worry you. I just... I couldn't stand by and watch someone in danger. I had to do something."

Hestia's grip on me tightened, her voice softening as she continued to hold me close. "I know, Bell. I know your heart is filled with kindness and courage. But you must also remember to value your own safety. I can't bear the thought of losing you."

Tears welled up in my own eyes as I absorbed her words, understanding the depth of her love and concern. In that moment, I realized the gravity of the bond we shared, the unbreakable connection between a goddess and her chosen adventurer.

Whispering softly, I said, 'I promise.' My voice was filled with determination. 'I will be more careful. I won't put myself in unnecessary danger. Your worry is my motivation to become stronger and protect both of us.'

Hestia released me from her embrace, her hands cupping my face as she looked into my eyes. Her gaze was filled with a mix of pride, worry, and unwavering affection.

"Oh, Bell," she sighed, a smile breaking through her tears. "You always manage to make my heart soar and break it at the same time. Just promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay?"

Hestia released me from her embrace; her eyes were filled with concern and curiosity. "Bell, what exactly happened? How did you end up in such a dangerous situation?"

I took a deep breath, recalling the events that had transpired, from the encounter with the silverback gorilla to Caster's timely intervention. "As I was losing the fight against the gorilla, Caster took over my body for a moment," I explained, my voice tinged with awe and gratitude. "He used his incredible skills to defeat the monster and save me from certain defeat. I owe him my life."

Hestia's eyes widened in astonishment as she processed the information. After a moment of silence, she bowed deeply, a gesture of gratitude and respect. "Caster, I am forever indebted to you for saving my child. Thank you from the depths of my heart."

Caster, always one to break the tension, let out a loud whistle, his voice echoing within my mind. "Well, well, I never thought a goddess would be bowing to me. Can't say I ain't flattered."

A faint smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I absorbed Caster's playful comment. It was true; witnessing Goddess's display of gratitude was something I had not anticipated.

Caster was grateful for your gratitude. He hadn't expected a god to show such appreciation. Your actions meant a lot to both of us.

As the three of us stood there, bound by a shared moment of gratitude and understanding, a sense of unity enveloped us.

Hestia's expression shifted, a curious glint in her eye. "Bell, how about a status update? It's been some time since I last checked on your progress."

I nodded, understanding her request. As I took my leave from the Goddess, I began to update my journal that was on my back. As she did, a sudden surprised voice left the Goddess's mouth.

Bell, these stats... They've grown so much! she exclaimed with a mixture of surprise and something I wasn't familiar with. She soon handed me a page with the updated status.
