The fall of Veridia

Once upon a time, in the vast kingdom of Veridia, there ruled a wise and just king named Cadric. King Caldric was beloved by his subjects, and he possessed a noble plan to protect and empower his people. Determined to ensure their safety, he sought to unlock the hidden potential within them—their auras.

Ozpin held an aged leather-bound book in his hands. With a gentle smile, he addressed the attentive gathering of Team RWBY, JNPR, and Qrow, ready to embark on a journey through the pages of a remarkable fairy tale.

"In the kingdom of Veridia, there lived a benevolent king named Caldric," Ozpin began, his voice soothing and filled with wisdom. "He held a belief that unlocking the auras of his subjects would lead to a stronger and united realm."

Ruby's eyes sparkled with excitement because she is the one who asked Ozpin why don't they just unlock everyone aura, and the others leaned forward, eager to hear the tale unfold.

"However," Ozpin continued, "there was an advisor named Ozcius who cautioned the king against this decision. He feared that with the unlocked auras, the emotions of the people would be amplified, drawing the attention of the Grimm."

Nora gasped softly, and Jaune exchanged a concerned glance with his teammates.

"But King Caldric, driven by his desire to protect his subjects, ignored Ozcius' warnings. He force Ozcius to cast a spell, unlocking the auras of every person in the kingdom," Ozpin narrated, his voice carrying a note of regret.

"As the people of Veridia discovered their newfound powers, emotions surged through them, intertwining with their auras. They felt joy, love, and hope more intensely than ever before. But with this amplification, the Grimm lurking beyond the kingdom's borders were drawn to this beacon of emotion," Ozpin explained, his words painting vivid images in the minds of his listeners.

Qrow shifted uneasily, his gaze fixed on the floor. Feeling as thought he's already know where this is heading.

"Despite the advisor's protests, King Caldric was blind to the potential danger. He believed that unity and strength granted by their aura would shield his people from harm from another kingdom and even from the Grimm," Ozpin continued, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

As the tale unfolded, Ozpin painted a vivid picture of the growing threat that surrounded Veridia. The Grimm became more relentless, sensing the amplified emotions good or bad and converging and launch an attack upon the kingdom.

"Seeing the chaos and despair brought upon the kingdom, King Caldric's heart sank. He realized the unintended consequences of his decision," Ozpin continued, his voice filled with empathy. "He summoned Ozcius, the advisor whose warnings he had ignored, seeking counsel and guidance."

Ozcius, with a heavy heart, stepped forward, his eyes reflecting both regret and determination. He had witnessed the suffering caused by the amplified emotions.

Ozpin's voice grew somber as he continued, his words carrying the weight of the story's tragedy.

"King Caldric and his advisor had succeeded in saving some of his citizens, but the price was high. The kingdom of Veridia lay in ruins, devastated by the relentless onslaught of the Grimm, in that day the survivor make a vow to spread the tale of Veridia so others wouldn't make the same mistake that they did."

The faces of Team RWBY, JNPR, and Qrow reflected a mix of shock and sorrow as they absorbed the tale's unexpected turn.

"The story of Veridia stood as a solemn reminder of the consequences of unchecked knowledge and misguided decisions. The story of King Cadric and his people became a timeless lesson of what caution truly meant."

Ruby's eyes filled with tears as she grasped the implications. "So, even though unlocking all of their auras brought them power, it ended up attracting the Grimm and causing their downfall..."

Ozpin nodded, his voice gentle yet firm. "Indeed, Ruby. That is why it's so important that we understand, strength, balance, and the choices we make to protect the ones we hold dear."

Weiss looked down, her voice filled with regret. "King Caldric make a hasty decision and kingdom of veridia pay the price."

Ozpin's gaze met Weiss's, filled with empathy. "Sometimes, even the noblest intentions can lead to unintended consequences. We must be vigilant and consider the ramifications of our actions, especially when dealing with forces as formidable as the Grimm."

Jaune clenched his fists, his voice resolute. "so that is why huntsman and huntresses learn to control their emotion. and the only one that legally can have their aura unlocked, the other kingdom learn from this story and work together to find a way to fight the Grimm without sacrificing the safety of people."

Nodding approvingly, Ozpin continued, "Indeed, Mr.arc. The story of Veridia serves as a reminder of why power must be checked or we will repeat the same mistake that king Caldric did."

Ren, ever the quiet observer, spoke up with determination. "We must not forget the sacrifices they made. Veridia's tragedy will not be in vain. We'll honor their memory both in mind and spirit, and we will not make the same mistake."

Qrow, who had listened intently, his eyes filled with a mix of regret and determination, spoke with a voice heavy with resolve. "We've seen firsthand the devastation caused by the Grimm. It's up to us to protect Remnant, learn from the past, and ensure that the story that need sacrifices of Veridia and countless others were not in vain."

The room fell into a reflective silence, each member of the gathered group internalizing the tale's profound message.

Ozpin's voice, calm and filled with hope, concluded the story. "As we face the challenges before us, let us remember the story of King Caldric and Veridia. Let it guide us to make wise choices."

Team RWBY, JNPR, and Qrow, their spirits renewed and hearts determined, embraced the lessons of the tale. They understood that the road ahead would be arduous, but with their newfound wisdom, they were ready to face the darkness and protect the world they held dear.

And so, as the tale concluded, the gathering dispersed, each member carrying within them the essence of Veridia's tragic story—a reminder of the importance of balance, the consequences of unchecked power, and the true strength that lay within their hearts.

And Ozpin shed one tear as the regret come over him because he knew that his action at that time is a mistake but it's not his first and it wouldn't be his last.
