Bossk was waiting as they stepped out onto the ice. He was looking towards the nearby ice cave entrance.
"That has to be it" he said, "There's nothing else here"
"Agreed" said Zuckuss, "so whats next ?"
All three hunters started to walk towards the entrance, carefully watching their footing on the sheer ice. A light covering of snow still lay in places from a recent storm. Mando studied the snow as he walked, he could see many different foot prints in it, far more people were here than he was expecting. His bad feeling returned.
Bossk seemed oblivious to these details, he continued to pick his way carefully on the ice as he addressed Zuckuss's question "Just like we discussed...we go in there. Get to the ring leader of these guys, a person named Dec Ktar, and we see if he's agreeable to a small compensation for giving up the crystal. Cave dwelling scum all of the way out here...they probably don't even know what they have. If his price is too high, like I say, thats why you two are here. Three guns are better than one..."
All three instinctively double checked their guns when they neared the mouth of the cave. Mando shifted his rifle from left to right hand. He looked at it to check everything was in order. The rifle was long, a type of phase-pulse disruptor sniper rifle. He had made a few other modifications to it which had gotten him out of trouble more times than he could remember. He looked into the cave. The entrance was deceptively high, the cave lieing in a slight dip in the terrain which provided it with natural camouflage, even from close up. Mando estimated a skilled pilot could easily fly a fighter ship into it. The cave was in darkness, making spotting any other details impossible to do. There was no noise coming from within though, so maybe this wasn't the place after all he thought to himself.
The other two were clearly going through the same thought process, as Bossk wondered out loud "is this place deserted ?".
A couple of seconds later, he had his answer, as rows of blinding lights which covered both sides of the cave switched on all at the same time, causing all three to briefly shield their eyes.
Mando adjusted the settings of his helmet to allow him to see better. On the far wall of the cave he could see a bank of three turbo lifts. The left and right doors opened at the same time. They weren't alone and what he saw coming out of the lifts made him realise that accepting this job was a mistake.
