Minerva, for her part, managed to do a great deal too, with the help of the goblin, they found a way to transfer the horcrux from Harry's scar to an inanimate object. They will be able to do the same with the Founder's relics too. They still has to decide if they should do the ritual before or after Voldemort gets a new body. She confirmed to Harry and Hermione that the cup of the triwizard will happens since Albus told her about it. The ministry wanted to restart this competition… those bloody idiot. Oh if she could she would… strangle….give them detention. She will keep her two eyes on Alastor since he's supposed to teach this next year. They still have to think if they want to destroy all the horcrux together now or wait for the resurrection ritual. If they wait, they could discover a lot of death eaters and kill their master. They will need a way to people in the stands to see what's happening in the cemetery. I'm going too old for these things, sighs Minerva. She's preparing herself to leave for the Granger house, they wanted to meet with her. Her favorite students are planning something, she's sure of it and she doesn't know if she's going to like it.
"Hello, Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger. I hope you're going well" Minerva says
"Hi Professor" Harry and Hermione respond
"Are your parents home ?" Minerva asks
"No, they are working today so we shouldn't be disturbed" replies Hermione
"Good, now may I know what you wanted to tell me ?" McGonagall demands
"We want to tell people about our situation. Our reapers never told us that we couldn't. Sirius and particularly Andy are starting to get suspicious." Harry starts to say.
"How are you so sure that they suspect anything ?" the professor replies
"Maybe we weren't careful enough when talking about sensitive things. I think Andy has already heard us briefly before we changed the subject," Harry reports.
"I also think Tonks, Andy, and Sirius have noticed that we're a lot more advanced than we're supposed to be. Of course, we didn't use our wands because of the trace, but there are things we said that we weren't supposed to know," Hermione continues.
"I really don't like it, it's a big risk to take... but I believe in you. I also believe that you're in the best position to make this decision. If you say we should tell them, I'll support you" Minerva finally replies after several minutes of silence and reflection.
"Perfect, Andy has invited us to dinner next Thursday. We'll tell them then. Do you think you'll be available to validate what we're going to tell them?" said Harry, pleased that his idea had been accepted. It was hard enough to convince Hermione.
"I should be available, you'll just have to contact me," McGonagall replied.
Hermione was so stressed, but Harry had been very insistent. She feared that telling them the whole truth would do more harm than good. Harry, for his part, was certain it was the right thing to do. He couldn't wait to finally be honest with his godfather. It's at the end of the meal that Harry decides to go for it.
"I have... we have something very important to tell you," Harry begins.
"We ask you to take a magical oath to keep this information secret," Hermione asks earnestly.
"Harry, Hermione, what are you involved in?" questions Andy
"The oath, I beg you," says Harry
"Okay, I'll give you my oath" Sirius finally says, followed by the other three people at the table.
"Thank you," says Harry
"So, our secret is that we've already lived this life, we've had a second chance..." begins Hermione
At the end of their story, the four adults had no choice but to believe the two young people in front of them. Their story had far too much detail for it not to be true; otherwise, it was an excellent lie.
"That's why I finally got my trial," says Sirius realizing what Harry, Hermione, and Minerva have changed.
"Yes, and we still have work to do," Hermione replied.
"Who else died? You mentioned Sirius', Alastor's, and Dumbledore's, but who else?" asked Andromeda, who had seen the looks on her daughter's faces.
"I don't think it's necessary to talk about that, we're here to change what's happened," said Harry nervously.
"Young man, tell me", Andromeda replied with a serious tone.
" was killed by the snatchers when he fled and Tonks died on the battlefield of Hogwart. I think Bellatrix killed him" said Hermione.
"Where was I?" said Andy furiously.
"From what we know you were at home with your grandson, my godson. I suppose you survived" replied Harry.
"Grandson!?" exclaims the Tonks family.
"I'm going to have a son. Who's the father?" says Tonks, round-eyed.
"Yes, with... Remus Lupin..." said Hermione hesitantly.
"Sirius, don't you have a friend with this name," asks Andy to her cousin
"OH Merlin, my little cousin is going to have sex with my old friend. Tonks I didn't know you liked them old" laugh Sirius
Tonks hex him and made him run outside the house. Finally, the Tonks family and Sirius thanked them for telling them their secret. They are of course ready to help if need to.
