Lucy stood behind the reception counter with Chloe and Adrien. Today the class were all at Chloe's fathers' hotel, getting a feel for what it is like to have a job. Each of the students assigned different areas and tasks to complete. Lucy had been given the grand job title of 'bellhop' which is the person who, when a guest arrives, collects the guests' baggage and helps bring it to their room. Being that no guests were wandering in at that very moment, Lucy stood with her two peers who were acting as check-in reception. Lucy smirked at Adrien who stood uncomfortably in Chloe's arms as she clung to him the way she always does when the poor boy was at arm's length. When Mr. Bourgeois realized that Alya and Marinette were not on his list of names, Chloe quickly called out to him, handing her father a piece of paper that gave Alya the job of trash duty. However, before he could give Marinette her job title a guest arrived. That guest being none other than Jagged Stone. Several students, including Chloe and Adrien, watched star-struck as their favorite rock artist walked into the main lobby. His pet gator and assistant close behind, along with two carts full of luggage. Lucy almost went to do her job but the two men who actually worked there seemed to have it covered. Mr. Bourgeois walked over to address the man, telling him that this was a hotel, not a zoo. Chloe of course came to her father's rescue and quickly informed her father that Jagged Stone was a rich rock star which quickly changed the Mayor's tune.

While Mr. Stone and the mayor spoke, Adrien nudged Lucy, grabbing her attention. He made eyes across the lobby, pointing out the photographer that had snuck in. Jagged's gator quickly brought the man out of hiding and the rock star, who to be honest already looked like he was in a mood, gave out an annoyed sigh. The photographer, a young blonde man with pink tips, was clearly a big fan judging from his Jagged Stone t-shirt. He quickly swung his arm around the star, asking for a photo to show that they were friends. Jagged explained that they were no such thing and his assistant quickly stepped in and grabbed the camera and tossing the guy out.

"I almost feel bad for the guy," Lucy said as she leaned on the counter. Adrien stood beside her and nodded.

"Me too, but at the same time, I get where Mr. Stone is coming from. I have fans approach me sometimes too for photos and such. I appreciate that they are a fan, but I don't always feel comfortable taking photos with strangers all the time ya know?"

Lucy gave Adrien a lazy smile. "Right. I sometimes forget you're a big shot model."

Scratching the back of his neck, Adrien chuckled. "Yeah, well I wish other people would sometimes."

For a while, Lucy's job was rather boring. She helped a few guests check-in and out with their bags but the hotel didn't have an endless stream of visitors. Probably due to it being so expensive. In between, Lucy simply hung out upfront with Chloe and Adrien. Sort of. Chloe, of course, needed to have Adrien's full attention and did everything she could to have it. Lucy didn't mind much. Watching the two interact was entertaining enough on its own. The number of looks Adrien shot her in response to something Chloe had said just tickled her funny bone. It wasn't until Marinette came running past them and out the door that Lucy really needed to give an eye roll, as Chloe mocked her friend. Moments later, a man strolled into the lobby, walking past the three students. Immediately, Lucy could see that this man was either a strange cosplayer or Akumatized. He wore a blue and black bodysuit that gave Lucy a digital vibe, and his helmet was similar to a camera lens. Against her better judgment, Lucy walked up to the man and called out in an attempt to get his attention.

"Um, excuse me. Sir?"

As the man ignored her, she could hear Chloe tell Adrien to watch and learn, walking up beside Lucy and calling out herself.

"Excuse me... Excuse me! You can't be a guest at this hotel! My father only allows the most important celebrities. Like me."

Lucy gives Chloe a deadpan look as the man then turns around.

"Well then, I am Pixelator. Your number one fan." He said with a slight bow.

"Pixelator?" Lucy questioned. "Oh no."

"Moi? Oh, my, you're flattering me. Keep going." Chloe said unfazed, blinded by her own vanity. Lucy slowly grabbed Chloe's arm giving the man a nervous smile. "Uh, Chloe..."

Pixelator bent down slightly and held his lens. " A photo of you, sweet miss..."

"Chloe! Lucy! Look out!" Adrien called out as he attempted to push the two girls out of the way. Speed, however, was not on his side, and Adrien, Chloe, and Lucy all landed in a pitch white void.

"What the hell?" Lucy muttered as she pushed Chloe off of her.

"What just happened?" Chloe asked sitting up.

I think we've been like... digitized or something" Adrien guessed as he stood.

"What do you mean, digitized?"

Adrien shook his head slightly as he looked around. " I don't really know, but I don't think it's a good thing." Chloe quickly takes a breath before pulling out her phone.

"Well, I can fix this. Leave it to me." She then dials her father's number in an attempt to call him. "Daddy?... Daddy... Daddy?!"

"Yeah..." Lucy drawled. "I don't think that's going to work."

The trio wandered around aimlessly for about twenty minutes, Chloe let out a frustrated sigh as she tried to contact her father for the hundredth time with no luck.

"How can there be no service here!? Ridiculous."

"It just goes on forever. No doors, no walls, no nothing..." Adrien spoke, mostly to himself.

"The problem with making a virtual world is there's no end of virtual spaces in which to seek stimulation, but their very endlessness, the perpetual stimulation without satisfaction, becomes imprisoning. We think of infinity as a really big number, but it's not. It's endlessness. Endlessness is a really strange idea in a universe that is defined by its endings." Lucy went on, trying to wrap her head around the situation.

"You mean we're stuck here? Just... just the two of us?" Chloe asked, moving closer to Adrien.

"Chloe, I am standing right here," Lucy argued with an annoyed glare. She went ignored, as Chloe wrapped her arms around Adrien's midsection, resting her head on his chest lovingly.

"Uh, no. There's gotta be a way out somewhere...I hope..." Adrien looks to Lucy once again for help, only receiving two hands in the air.

"That's your problem. You need to start asserting yourself, my friend."

In the real world, Ladybug had just snagged up Jagged stone and was on her way to the school with him. When she got there, Tigress was waiting for them in the principles office.

"Interesting place to meet." Tigress commented as she sat leaned against the principles desk. "Oh, a rock star! For me? You shouldn't have."

"Tigress, I need you to stay here with Jagged Stone. This is the safest place I could think of."

"But Ladybug," the principal chimed in. "This is a school. Is that really safe?"

"Of course! The Pixelator would never imagine his idol wanting to be at school! I mean..."

"Yeah yeah, but Ladybug, where is Chat?" Tigress asked, ignoring the slightly insulted look on the principles face as well as the guilt expression on Ladybugs.

"I don't know. I can't get a hold of him."

"Listen! I can't stay here. I'm performing tonight." Jagged argued but Ladybug quickly assured him she would take care of everything before the show and that for his safety he needed to stay put. "This is ridiculous. I don't have time for this. First, I get practically hijacked by this crazed fan, and then, I'm attacked by some super weirdo, then..."

"Crazed fan you say?" Tigress asked with a grin.

"What do you know about this crazed fan?" Ladybug interrogates.

Jagged rolled his eyes. "He's come to every one of my shows this year. He's also sent me stacks of letters, gone through my trash, he even followed my mother to her weekly bingo night!"
"How creepy." Ladybug commented as Tigress nodded in agreement.
"Uh, not really, it's just a bunch of elderly ladies getting together having fun."

"That's not..." Tigress went to correct when she noticed Ladybug trying to look the guy p with her nose. "Um, is something wrong with your arm?"

Ladybug focused on the task at hand, ignored her teammate, and got the information she was looking for.

"Ah, got his address," She claimed, making her way to the door.

"Wait! You're not going to leave me here are you!?" Jagged asked before glancing at the principal who gave him a disappointed look.

"I mean..."

"Yeah, school sucks, sit down," Tigress snapped, pointing to the chair. Reluctantly, Jagged followed her demand,

In the void, Lucy rubbed her face in annoyance as Chloe continued to try calling her father.

"If she says daddy one more time..."

A few feet ahead Adrien opened his shirt and looked to Plagg. "I need to find a way to transform."

Plagg of course blew off the situation like it was no big deal.

"Come on... what's the rush?" Adrien glared down at the small cat, receiving a sigh in response. "Fine. If you insist, at least find me some cheese."

"I'm gonna see if there's a way out down there. Don't go anywhere. Could be dangerous." He went to explain to the two girls, who looked at him with two very different expressions. Fear and annoyance.

"Dangerous?" Chloe asked nervously.

"You're trying to leave me here alone with this?" Lucy asked sticking her thumb at Chloe.

"You're not scared, are you?"

Chloe scoffed. "Scared, Moi? As if! No way!"

Adrien placed a gentle hand on Lucy's shoulder.

"Now she's your problem." Before turning away and quickly walking in a random direction. He didn't get far though, as Chloe then screamed and ran to him, pointing out the gator that had joined the party.

"Is that Fang? Jagged Stone's gator?" Lucy asked as she tilted her head to the side.

"Lucy! Get away from it!" Adrien called out as he put Chloe down.

"What?" Lucy asked unbothered. The gator them hisses at her, making her put her hands on her hips." "No! Bad!"

"Are you crazy?!"

"Leave her Adrien! She's a goner!" Chloe went, pulling at the boy's arm.

The gator looked at Lucy confused, backing up while squinting at her.

"If he's walking around as a pet, he must be trained enough to know not to go snapping at strangers. Think of all the lawsuits Jagged would have if he went biting people. Animal control would be all over him."

Lucy then walked away from the animal who, after a moment began to follow her. Adrien and Chloe looked at one another before Adrien gave her an uncertain shrug, following Lucy as well.

"Lucy? Where are you going?" Adrien asked, Chloe still clinging to his arm. Lucy stopped and waved her arms around.

"Do you think I really have any idea? We are in a void of nothing. There is nowhere to go. What else is there to do besides just stand there?"

Adrien went to speak but instead was distracted by the sudden appearance of Ladybug.

"What...that window has not been there this whole time, has it?" Lucy pondered.

Jagged Stone, Principal Damocles, and Tigress watched the computer screen as it gave live news coverage of the situation happening with the Pixelator. The akumatized man gave demands for Stone to show up or he would continue to pixelate anyone who he came across.

"I've got to do what Pixelator says!" Jagged exclaimed.
"Surely, you can't be serious! It's dangerous out there!" Damocles warned the star.
"Who cares about danger? Jagged Stone can't turn down a television appearance! Just imagine what it would do for my career!"

Tigress chuckled at Jagged. "And here I thought you were trying to be heroic. Regardless, I agree with you. One for the many. Let's blow this joint."

OoOoOoOoOo

"I literally wanna bang my head against the wall right now, oh wait! There are no walls!" Lucy shouted, officially bored out of her mind. Adrien walked over and nudged her shoulder.

"At least you got company right?" Lucy sighed and gave him a soft smile.

"Yeah, I guess you're-" before she could finish a flash presented itself and when Lucy opened her eyes, she was alone. "Right..." She looked around confused as to where Adrien, Chloe, and even the gator had gone. "Seriously? Okay, well I guess I'll just go fuck myself."

OoOoOoOo

Adrien quickly got up when he realized he was back in the hotel and rushed over to the reception desk, and looking at the news being broadcasted on the computer. Seeing the location where everything was going down, Adrien quickly told Nino, who had been managing the station to fill in for him, as if that was not what he was already doing.

OoOoOoOo

Tigress leaped down, making it just in time to watch Chat Noir get zapped by the Pixelator. She watched Ladybug try and get away from the man only to be hit in the leg with his beam. Jagged announced him presence and Tigress hopped over to Ladybug and held out her hand. Ladybug looked up at her in surprise as Jagged Stone distracted the Akumatized villain with his self-sacrifice.

"What are you doing here?! You were supposed to keep him protected!"

Tigress yanked Ladybug up and rolled her eyes. "Yeah because things were going so well for you just a second ago before we showed up."

OoOoOoOoOo

Chat Noir fell on his face in the void and groaned. "Not again..."

"Come here often?"

Chat quickly sat up to see Lucy sitting on the ground crisis-cross style with her chin in her palm.

"Lucy? What are you..?" He and Chloe had been zapped out, he thought she had too. He was so quick to run out to help Ladybug that he had not realized Lucy had not come back with them.

"Oh you know, just hangin' out. I was here with two others but something happened and...their gone now. Even the gator left. Now it's just me."

Chat's ear flattened as he crawled over to Lucy, taking her hand.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna get us out of here. I wont leave you alone again."

"I'm happy to hear that." Lucy said with a small smile as Chat helped her to her feet. "It's been a little quiet for me. Too quiet. Never thought I'd see the day that I kinda miss Chloe's endless jabber." She sighed and looked at Chat. "How long have I been in here?"

"If you miss Chloe? Too long. Stand back." Lucy stepped back and Chat called for his Cataclysm. In seconds He himself, as well as Lucy and everyone else who was trapped by the Pixelator were set free in the street.

Quickly, Ladybug tossed her lucky charm, which ended up being a compact mirror, to Chat, who hit it with his staff. The mirror flew in front of the Pixelators beam just in time, zapping him into his own void.

Later, The class gathered around to thank Chloe's father for the opportunity, who then handed out tickets to some of the students he thought had done a good job. Lucy couldn't help but be surprised that Chloe did not make that list. What surprised her even more, was that she did.

Walking home Lucy stopped hearing her name being called out. She turned back to see Adrien and Nino walking after her. Nino nudgged Adrien who cleared his throat. "Lucy, hey. So. Are you excited about the concert?"

Lucy gave a slight shrug. "I mean, I guess. I'm not very familiar with Jagged Stone's music and to be honest I'm not really a concert person. Crowds and what not."

"Oh, well...are you still gonna go?"

Tilting her head Lucy nodded. "Yeah, probably. I almost just gave it to Chloe to be honest."

"No!" Nino and Adrien shouted at her.

"Dudette, please do not do that." Nino begged getting a laugh out of Lucy.

"Yeah, I didn't think you guys would appreciate that too much."

"It'll be my first time!" Adrien admitted. "My first live concert I mean."

"Oh well how could I miss that. You know what they say, everyone remembers their first."

Her attempt at a joke went right over Adrien's head as he beamed down at her. "So you'll be there?"

"Yeah. Yes, I'll be there."

"Great."

"Okay then. Im gonna go now." Lucy said, hitching her thumb behind her as she walked backwards. "Gotta, get ready for the thing. Maybe eat. I hear concert food is expensive."

"I could always get you food." Adrien holding out his palm in explanation. "Buy it, I mean. Becuase...I mean, well I have money!"

"Okay buddy, let her go." Nino said pushing Adrien's arm down. Lucy just smiled and turned around, continuing to walk home. Nino watched Adrien's face as he watched Lucy walk away bemused.

"Wow..."

"Yeah..." Adrien said dazed.

Nino squinted at him before hitting Adrien in the arm.

"No! Not her. Wow you! That was...that was weird to watch. Get it together dude."

Adrien blinked and then glared at Nino. "You had me talk to you through an ear piece so you would know what to say to Marinette."

"Yeah!" Nino scoffed. "Becuase you're supposed to be the cool one between the two of us! But after watching that? What I just witnessed? I mean, I'm the one with a girlfriend now so honestly, maybe I'm mixing this whole dynamic up." He spoke motioning his hands between the two of them.

"Come on man..." Adrien said with a playful eyeroll. "You were always the cool one."

"Clearly!" Agreed Nino. "Im the funny Dj guy. I got personality and what do you got? Perfect hair and sparkling green eyes? Oh, look at me, I'm on a magazine, but don't talk to me, I don't words good."

Adrien laughed, throwing his head back in the process. "Uuughh. I hate you dude."

Nino smirked and started walking across the street away from Adrien, who awaited his ride.

"You hate me cuz you ain't me bro. Because Im the cool one."
