In Professor Oobleck's class, he was speeding around, telling the class the history of Remnant. Team SLAR was listening intently, seeing as they were not from this world.

"Now," said Oobleck, "Who here has been discriminated from Faunus Heritage?"

A few students, including Velvet, the rabbit Faunus, raised their hands.

"Dreadful," said Oobleck, "It's ignorance like this that fuels the violence! Look at what happened to the White Fang! Now, who can tell me what the turning point for the Faunus during the Great War was theorized?"

Weiss raised her hand and said, "The Battle of Fort Castle."

"Good, now, who here knows what is thought to have given the Faunus an advantage over the general?"

Cardin was flicking paper footballs at Jaune and Mewtwo. Jaune was distracted by the flicking, and Mewtwo was reaching his limit. Over the past few days, Cardin had been picking on Mewtwo, but he never learns. Every time he picks on the Pokemon, he ends up in the medical wing.

Seth looked at Mewtwo and whispered, "Mewtwo, what are you thinking?"

One more football hit Mewtwo, before he used his powers to choke Cardin and lift him in the air. Mewtwo floated up to him and said, Please, stop it with the footballs, if you value your ability to move.

Cardin nodded, and Mewtwo then threw him in the wall. "Mr. Mewtwo, since you have made a move, perhaps you would like answer the question?"

Well, said Mewtwo, I suppose the Faunus had higher senses than the general did?

"Good answer," said Oobleck, "but not what I was looking for."

Cardin then got back into his seat.

"Mr. Winchester, would you like to answer?"

"Well," said Cardin, "I know that-"

Mewtwo looked at him as if to say, "Be careful of what your last words will be."

"-they were more experienced?"

"You're not the most open minded, are you Cardin?" asked Pyrrha.

"What, you got a problem with that?" asked Cardin, before Mewtwo gave him a killer psychic wedgie.

"No, I have the answer, it's night vision. Most Faunus are known for their night vision."

"The general was young and inexperienced," said Blake, "And he made the mistake of attacking the Faunus in the night. Perhaps if he payed attention in school, he wouldn't have been known as a failure."

Everyone in the class laughed. Cardin then stared at Blake, but Seth's Charizard cracking his knuckles stopped him.

"Mr. Winchester and Mewtwo, please see me after class," said Oobleck.

After being talked to and given an assignment from Oobleck, Mewtwo said, I'll make sure that Cardin does his assignment, said Mewtwo.

Before Cardin could touch him, Mewtwo threw him all the way into Vale. Team SLAR laughed at the sight. Seth, said Mewtwo, I know how to read, but I still don't know how to fully write.

"Don't worry," said Seth, "I'll help."

That night, Pyrrha helped Jaune on the roof and looked at the sight of Beacon.

"The view is beautiful," said Pyrrha.

"Look Pyrrha," said Jaune, "I really don't belong here."

"What are you talking about? You made it to Beacon." "No I didn't! I lied. I never went to a combat school, I never trained, I didn't earn my place here. I got my hands on some fake transcripts."

Pyrrha looked at Jaune with confusion.

"But, why Jaune?"

"Because I come from a long family of heroes, and I wanted to join them."

"Then let me help you Jaune."

"No, I need to do this on my own. I'm tired of being the guy that needs help. I have to do this on my own, so I don't need any help."

Pyrrha then sighed in defeat and left Jaune.

"Jaune!" Jaune turned and saw the last person he wanted to see: Cardin. Cardin then got Jaune in a headlock and gave him a friendly noogie.

"You know," he said, "you are more daring than I thought buddy."

"Buddy?" asked Jaune.

"Yeah, we're friends now. And friends do things for each other. Now I couldn't get that essay done for Oobleck."

"Great, just great."
