Ro and Keefe entered the house laughing. "no but did you his face! he was so suprised!" Keefe said to Ro as he took off his shoes. Ro burst out laughing again "i know! he had no idea we were there." Lord cassius stomped into the room with a journal in his hand "so i was just pulling out some pots to cook, when i found this ducktaped under the table." he said glaring at Keefe who had turned as white as a sheet. Ro looked around the room confused "so... why does it matter?" Keefe had turned blood red and was staring at the floor. "i don't know Keefe. do you wanna tell her or should i." Keefes head snapped up "no! you can't." he said looking at Ro and then looking at the journal with wide eyes. Lord cassius smiled nastily at Keefe "i can and i will" he said before opening the journal and reading it out loud. "today Ro took me to Sophies house. its so nice to have someone doing what my parents should have done. i guess you could say she's like my cool older sister. i hope she doesn't leave to go back home anytime soon. but thats all i have to report today see you tomorrow" lord cassius finished, and snapped the journal shut. Keefe snatched the journal and screamed "i hate you!" at his father before running to his room and slamming the door behind him. ro spared cassius one disgusted look before running after keefe. Ro knocked on Keefe's door gently "Keefe can i come in?" Ro heard a slight sniffle "go away." Ro sighed "Keefe please." Ro saw the doorknob twist and the door open. "Come in" Ro walked into keefe's room. "so... that happened." she said looking at keefe "go ahead." Ro looked at him confused "what?" Keefe looked down "leave. Laugh at me and call me pathetic. go on get it over with." Ro looked at keefe shocked "i'm not going anywhere Keefe. even if i wanted to, which i don't, i couldn't leave, iv'e been assigned to you as your body guard." Keefe groaned "i never wanted anyone to read that!" Ro pursed her lips and looked at him unimpressed, " i will lose all respect for you if you thought i couldn't tell you liked having me around. i can hear your heartbeat, it calms down when it's just us." Keefe blinked before yanking Ro's hand. she was about to ask him what he was doing when she saw the concentrated look on his face. "Hey! what did i tell you about reading my emotions!" Ro yanked her hand away, but it was to late Keefe had already started smirking "you said you didn't want me reading them because you didn't want me using my elfie abilities on you. But now i know the truth! you didn't want me to know you careeee about me." Keefe said the words teasingly but she knew it meant a lot to know she cared. "no i just think your elfie tricks are freaky." Keefe refused to accept that excuse "liar liar plants for hire. you like me and you know it." Ro stood up and turned around "i refuse to be around you after you used your tricks on me." Ro heard Keefe burst out laughing "can't run from the truth Ro." Ro opened the door "i can and i will" Ro shut the door behind her and after a few minutes heard the familiar sound of pen on paper. She was glad she gave keefe something to write about. Ro was happy to be what Keefe needed, whether that was a cool older sister or an annoying friend. she would do that for him. that was a promise
