Finally back to Ema's point of view, well after a little thing with the guardians. Enjoy.

The guardians were pacing, they needed to find a new way to get Ema Fay to join the team. Straight out telling her she was joining the team didn't work. They knew they had to get her to change her mind, or otherwise, Pitch was going to get her. The North Pole wasn't the safest place; they couldn't protect her here forever.

On the other hand, Jack knew she could take care of herself. He didn't know how they were going to get her to change her mind though, she seemed pretty stubborn. The other guardians asked if he had any ideas to convince her.

"Well, she doesn't want to be a guardian, and that's that. I know her, and it takes a lot to change her mind, at least for responsibility, and she hates being forced to do things." It seemed like Jack had lost hope with Ema, he still felt guilty about what he did and the way she yelled at him.

"There has to be a way to change her mind," said the Guardian of Hope.

"I could her ride in sleigh," suggested North.

"It'll take more than that, North. She hates being transported anywhere as it is," said Jack.

"Well, we don't hear ya suggesting any ideas," said Bunny.

"I got it!" exclaimed Tooth, "Her memories."

"We don't know where they are," stated Jack.

"Well there has to be a reason we didn't notice they were gone until 25 years ago, it's because we thought they were there; an illusion!"

"Are you saying Ema has had them all this time?"

"Maybe,"

"I don't think so, Tooth. If so she would know she was an actual person, and she doesn't."

Sandy made some sand images of Ema making illusions.

"Yes, Sandy, I know Ema is the only one who makes illusions."

"Not quite," said North, "Here and there, illusions pop up. Ema's not only one."

"Yeah, but she's the main one."

"All we know is, the Sheila knows everything there is to know about illusions," stated Bunny.

"Everything," processed Jack. "I've got it! I know how to find her memories, and we need Ema's help."

I was pacing in a spare room North had. I was pacing back and forth in front of Mini-me who I had placed on a ledge. I was still angry with Jack.

"Does anyone care about me anymore?"

"I don't know Ema. Jack's actions seem justified. If I was in his place, I probably would have done the same thing."

"Well, you're not in his place, you're in mine! You're me!" Steam was coming out of my ears. It took a while for my personal anger fire to die down, and I wasn't red anymore.

"Okay," said Mini-me. "Besides the fact that Jack left you in danger, would you've wanted to join the guardians?"

"No! Well, maybe. I don't know!" I said exuberated, plopping backwards on an invisible platform in the air I made. It looked like I was therapy.

"How so," asked Mini-me, popping out a clipboard to take notes.

"I mean, I like kids, so it wouldn't be that bad protecting them."

"Uh huh," Mini-me took some notes.

"But the guardians never pay attention to me, unless I'm making trouble. I barely saw Sandy when me and Jack were close, and now that Jack's a guardian, I barely see him!" I said, throwing my hands in the air in frustration.

"I see," said Mini-me.

"I feel that Jack doesn't care about me anymore now that he's a guardian, he didn't bother to tell me I was in danger." I got up. "It could have been like this, I arrive in Berwick, Jack greets me and says, (Face morph into Jack) 'Hey Ema, enjoy your day, but you have to leave tonight.'(Face morph back) 'Why Jack?' (Face morph to Jack) 'I'll tell you tonight.'(Face morph back) Then night comes (Make a streak in the air that looks like night time, then Face morph to Jack) 'Ema, glad you've enjoyed your day back, but you're in danger, so let's go to the pole.'(Face morph back) 'Why didn't say so! Let's go!'"

"You still get mad at him in that version, and weren't you bawling your eyes out?"

"Fine, it could have also gone like this: I'm coming to Berwick, I arrive in Berwick, pull off a few illusions," at this I made tiny illusions of the illusions fly from my hands, like a cloud, a weasel, and a fairy riding a train. "Then Jack would show up, we'd have a laugh, then he would tell me (Face morph to Jack) 'Ema you have to get out of here, you're in danger.'(Face morph back)"

"Are you sure you would have left," asked Mini-me. She no longer had her clipboard, we were just talking.

"I think I would have been a little upset, but I still would have left with him. As I said before, I don't want anything happening to that place."

"I'm not sure you would have been okay with leaving, you only made three illusions by the time he showed up."

"I'm a nomad. I'm used to not staying in places long." Just then, I heard a knock on the door. I panicked, I didn't want anyone to see Mini-me. I quickly squashed her up against the wall, and into my head she went.

"Who is it?" I called.

"It's Jack."

"Go away, Jack. I'm not talking to you."

"You are right now."

"Well I don't want to. I'm mad with you, and all the other guardians. So, forget everything I'm saying, go away, and tell all the other guardians to keep their distance."

"If I forgot everything you were saying I wouldn't do what you asked."

"Well, I'm giving you the silent treatment, starting now." I sat down with my arms crossed. Just then, Jack opened the door. I made an arrow that pointed out the door sharply, pointing that way myself.

"Ema, I've never known you to stay silent for long, so I don't expect you to keep that promise."

I huffed, and I turned my head away from him. He sat down next to me.

"Look, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you that you were in danger immediately and that we sprang the whole 'You're a guardian' thing on you. Let me make it up to you, and then maybe you can consider changing your mind about joining the guardians?" I was silent.

"Well, anyway, I think we've found a way to locate your memories." I glared at him, as in to say seriously, you still think I have memories.

"We need your help; can you please come with us?" He asked, holding out his hand. I thought about it. I never saw the tooth palace before, never had a real interest I going there. I thought it would break my heart, getting a reminder of how I didn't have any memories. Maybe, I thought, this is what Jack needs. I'll go help them in the search, and when it doesn't work, he'll finally give it a rest. Realizing I don't have any memories.

I popped up from where I was sitting, and then I was on my feet. "All right, fine," I said.

"Let's go search for my memories," I said sarcastically. Jack smiled.
