Here's the second one this month. May I remind the audience that Ema is 11-15 in physical appeareance, so it's sometimes funny in how she acts. Enjoy.
Once the guardians heard Ema was coming to the Tooth Palace, they immediately headed to the sleigh. Ema rolled her eyes.
"How many times do I have to tell you guys? You guys are taking the sleigh; I'm going there by myself. I'm pretty sure I can go faster than some old, rickety, beat up, worn down…" That was when the sleigh came out, "Sleigh," I gasped.
Let alone seeing it wasn't enough for me, I had to analyze every definition of it. This wasn't just another old plane or ship, some random car or bus, or even a beat up toboggan or bike. Not roller skates or a skateboard, not skis or a snowboard, not any of the old transportation; it was a highly decorated, fully magical sleigh, pulled by flying reindeer! It looks like something I would make!
I was going all over the place, feeling every angle, memorizing every aspect. I almost squealed with joy. I recomposed myself, couldn't ruin my reputation with transport vehicles.
"I suppose, one ride wouldn't hurt," I said climbing into the sleigh.
"Everyone loves the sleigh," said North. As Jack got in beside me, he said, "This is new."
"What," I questioned.
"Ema Fay in a transport vehicle, going to take some getting used to."
"This is a onetime thing."
"Sure it is," he said sarcastically.
"I mean it, I'm being serious here."
"You're rarely serious."
"Just so you know I've been serious a lot lately."
"Oh," said Jack. He was probably reminded of the threat looming over me. True, normally this would be embarrassing for me, but this was Santa's sleigh! Bunny looked a little nervous. If I remembered Jack's story correctly, he didn't like riding in the sleigh.
"I think I'll just go by my tunnels, I mean, it doesn't matter if I show up anyway." He laughed nervously before he was pulled in the sleigh.
The sleigh took off. It felt weird, being carried by something. Now I didn't have to do any work and I could relax a little; that is if I wasn't in something that moved like a roller coaster car. I couldn't relax without being bumped around. All I could do was sit back and enjoy the adrenaline rush.
Once we were outside, Jack asked how I was enjoying the sleigh. This is what I said.
"I've only been on a roller coaster once before. This is better; it's not limited to tracks. It can fly!"
"So would you want to go in it again?"
"Maybe," I said. I still trusted myself first.
North opened a portal, and then there we were, the Tooth Palace. It looked very beautiful and majestic, even from this far.
"Last time we were here, this place was swarming with nightmares who were taking tooth fairies," said Jack, re-living the memory.
"Let's be glad that's not happening right now," stated Bunny. That gave me shivers, in my mind I started to see tiny black specs come out of the tooth palace instead of green lines. AHH, I had to keep my thoughts under control. One wrong thought and I could make an illusion that could freak everyone out. I mentally assigned Mini-me to that task of keeping me under control.
When we made it inside the tooth palace, the place was alive with activity. It scared me to think that all of these fairies were captured and all these tooth boxes were stolen. "Don't be scared," I heard in my head. "It's in the past and it can't happen again,"
"That's not what I'm afraid off," I said back, "Just the fact that he could do it scares me."
Most of the fairies were able to maneuver their way around the sleigh, but we almost hit a few groups.
"Can I drive," I asked.
"No," said North.
"Why, you don't trust me?"
"Not experienced enough."
"I'm 275." He was treating me like my physical age; which I remind you is three years younger than Jack's. "And you gave the reins to Jack 25 years ago, and he had no experience." I get that there was no trouble to fight, and I would probably run into some fairies, a wall or a tooth column, but this was a big thing.
"Maybe it's not a bad idea," said Jack. He was still trying to bribe me to join the guardians.
"On second thought, North I see your point." I was still mad with Jack. I wasn't taking any of his bribes.
We landed, and Tooth rushed to greet us. She obviously decided to fly here because it was her palace. Yet I had to take the sleigh, not that I'm complaining; okay I am a little.
She welcomed me to the Tooth Palace, since it was my first visit. Everyone gave me suspicious glances when that was mentioned. What's suspicious about going to the Tooth Palace for the first time?
We were then led to an empty hole in the wall.
"This is where Ema's Tooth box was." In my opinion, they just took out a random tooth box, are just saying right now that it was mine.
"Nice bribe, Jack. You can give it a rest, I can see through your little illusion."
"This is no illusion Ema," said Tooth.
"If it's not, then what am I doing here? How can I help find 'my memories' by looking at an empty hole?"
"You know all there is to know on illusions, we thought you could help us narrow it down, by telling us what illusion was there," said Jack. It's true, I could do that. I usually don't though, because I usually know what illusions I make that disappear. How can I read an illusion that's not mine?
"I'll try, but I think this is a waste of time."
So, what will happen next? Stay tuned! Tell me what you think of this chapter in reviews!
