Hey, I'm glad I could get this up, I'm really busy lately. Well, enjoy.

"Uh, Ema," said Jack. "Can you put the sword away?" I still had the sword out from when I was attacking the door.

"Yeah," I said, "doesn't mean I want to."

"Ema, put the sword away." I half-heartedly did what he said. Right now, we were in the house of my nemesis, Cupid. Being there just made me want to throw up. It was so valentine-like on the inside, filled mushy romance stuff; the colours white, red and pink were everywhere, there was a hint of jasmine on the air, and from the kitchen I could smell snicker-doodles baking. Blech.

The bookshelves were lined with romance novels, there was a cupboard filled with romantic movies, and get don't get me started on what lined her walls. Twilight posters were everywhere, the twilight books had their own pedestal to rest on, and the movies had their own stands. It's like she worships Twilight! Ridiculous!

"I see you're a twilight fan," said Jack nervously.

"Oh yes," said Cupid dreamily. "Bella and Edward are so romantic; of course Jacob's feelings for her are cute as well. Sometimes I want to dive in and be a part of the love story."

I gagged and Cupid glared at me. "So Jack, are you team Edward or Jacob? I know it's silly, now that the franchise has been over for a while, but fandoms are still going on. So what side are you on?"

"What?" said Jack blankly.

"Who do you think Bella would be better with?"

"I'm sorry Cupid, I never had time to look into it that much."

"Oh really, you should watch the movies while you're here, we can snack on my snicker doodles. When you leave, I can lend you the books so you can read them."

"A-hem," I cleared my throat. Jack turned to look at me; Cupid acted as though I was invisible.

"We don't have time for movie marathons," I said.

"Ema's right, Cupid," said Jack. "We're on guardian business."

Cupid tried to hide in her laughter. "Her? A Guardian? Seriously? With her Archery skills?"

I started to steam. "Simmer down, Ema," warned Jack. I did so, and made a quick retort.

"Speaking of Archery, I was going to ask about that Cupid. It seems you don't really value it as much as Twilight, I'm questioning your skills."

"My Archery stuff has its own room, because I value it that much." She said matter-of-factly.

"Like your shrine to Jack has its own room." Cupid made a strangling motion at me. What? It was obvious she had one. Cupid just brushed it off like my statement made no sense.

"And Secondly, Stupid, I'm not a guardian."

"Yet," suggested Jack.

"Maybe," I said.

"You should consider it if you don't want to be on Pitch's side," said a voice in my head.

"Shut up," I yelled in my head.

"My name isn't Stupid," said Cupid blankly. "Anyway, if your Guardian business is concerning her," she said pointing to me. "Who is not a Guardian; Dodged a bullet," she muttered. "I mean, what does she know about bringing joy to kids, she doesn't even care about them."

"I do too care about them! You about artistic pieces every child makes, that's because of me! People appreciate what I do."

"Yeah, but no one believes in you, so technically they're not appreciating you because technically, you don't exist to them." Well that hurt.

"Cupid you don't need to rub it in," defended Jack.

"Oh no, the Pigeon has a point," I retorted.

"Pigeon! I'm not a Pigeon!"

"Oh, I always thought you were some deformed Pigeon, if you're not, what are you?"

"I'm a cherub! The Valentine's Day cherub! People believe in me!" Cupid and I were having a little stare down.

"Cupid, you were saying," said Jack.

"As I was saying," said Cupid breaking the stare. "You have business revolving around her, which means you're trying to convince her to be a guardian. You also have business that involves me; otherwise, you wouldn't be here Jack." Cupid said the last part lovingly. Wow, Stupid is not so stupid. "So that must mean-"

"Fess up Cupid, we know you have my memories, so hand them over!" I blurted out.

"I have no idea what you're talking about Ema." I started to steam again, and then I went for my sword.

"Ema, no," said Jack putting a hand out.

"Cupid, all we want is the truth. Do you have Ema's memories or no?"

"Why would it matter? She doesn't deserve them." Steam started to come out my ears.

"We're trying to convince her to join the team."

"Why don't you add me instead, I'd be more than willing to." My head erupted in flames.

"The man in the moon said it had to be her."

"Well, the kids had a good run. I'm not helping her out."

"Cupid, I know what it's like not to have any memories of the past, and Ema's my friend. I don't want her to go through the same thing I went through, can't you do it for me." Cupid looked conflicted, and I started to smirk as the flames died down.

"All right, I took her memories, but it was for a good reason."

"And what reason would that be," I said putting my hands on my hips.

"You. Are. Mean." She said stressing out for me.

"Says the one who took my memories."

"It was payback," she said defensively.

"For what," asked Jack. "I'm confused, she said you were mean."

"That's Ema for you, a big LIAR!"

"I wouldn't call it lying; I call it fantasying," I said defensively.

"You weren't telling the truth with me," said Jack.

"What else is new," I said simply.

Cupid shook her head. "Sit down, Jack," she said pushing him on the couch. "While I tell you what really happened all those years ago."

Well, now we are going to hear another side of the story. No offence to anyone who likes snicker doodles or twilight, truthfully I don't mind either. Stay tuned for the next chapter.
