Happy Halloween everyone! To think, they leave the demons as soon as Halloween ends in real life. I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm in a Halloweeny mood, at least a little. Anyway, I'm sorry I haven't really been updating to Tale of two saviours, if any of you are fans, I've been busy. Here's a treat, my next chapter to Imagine, fitting the tone of environment. Enjoy.

"That's it Jack," I said. "We're leaving."

"Really?" said Jack as he caught up with me.

"Yeah, these demons are stupid. We should probably go tell the guardians about everything we found out and that this two day outing was a complete and utter flop."

"Ema, we will find a way to get your memories back." We started to fly to the portal.

"Oh sure," I said with a sarcastic edge. "They're in Pitch's and they're the only ones he has, I'm sure he'll just hand them over to you, he probably doesn't even know why he stole them in the first place."

"I didn't say it was going to be easy Ema, but I don't like the idea of Pitch having your memories any more than you do. I am going to help you."

I was a little conflicted here. After everything I have been through I didn't know how things would turn out. I mean Pitch has been inside my head since this whole thing started. Should I tell Jack my thoughts, feelings, and my true inner turmoil, or will he get mad that I didn't tell him sooner? Well, better stick to plan A; keep it all to myself and don't tell anyone. Just then, Witch flew up in front of us on her broom.

"Are you two leaving already?"

"Yeah, we have some things we need to do," I told her. I've always liked Witch. She seems to be the smartest out of all the demons of Halloween.

"You can't leave yet, there's a message we needed to tell you."

"A message?" asked Jack.

"Yes, from the man in the moon himself."

"The man in the moon," I cried while my hair stuck up on its ends.

"Let's set down and we'll talk." So we set ourselves gently on the ground.

"Why didn't the man in the moon send me this message himself?" I asked a little irritated.

"You were busy hunting down your memories, but he knew you were going to end up here eventually."

"I guess that makes sense," I said, brushing off my irritation.

"What did he have to say?" asked Jack.

"It's about you Ema," said Witch. "He said you have to be careful." I looked around to check if this was serious.

"I kind of figured that already," I said blatantly.

"Why did he say that?" asked Jack.

"It's because Pitch knows her weakness, and he said that means he'd be able to use it against her." I was confused.

"My weakness? I don't even know what that is, would you care to enlighten me?"

"Sure thing Ema; it's boxes." There was beat, and then a pause of silence, a cricket then might have chirped, and I suspect Jack was blinking a few times as well.

"Boxes," I said incredulously. "Are you serious? Come on, that can't be my weakness."

"It is; the man in the moon explained it all to us."

"Yet he explains nothing to me," I interrupted. Witch continued. "He explained that you're afraid of closed spaces, and that he and Pitch know the reason. Subconsciously, you are afraid of losing your power and being powerless, so your sleeping mind steers you away from anything that can do that to you. You can't use your powers inside a box."

"You have to admit Ema," said Jack. "It would make sense. You do depend on your power a lot." I didn't want to believe it. Pitch had said I was afraid of being powerless when I was dreaming.

"So what if I'm afraid of being powerless, and so what if I use my power a lot; I use it because I have it. I don't want to be powerless because I'm uncomfortable being powerless. The same for all of you," I said gesturing to Jack and Witch. "I bet all of you are afraid of losing your powers, even if it's temporary." The nodded in agreement. "Of course, it's ridiculous to think my weakness is…that. Boxes can't stop my power."

"Really?" said Witch. "How about I conjure up a box right now and see what happens?"

"Go ahead," I said smugly. She conjured up a small cabinet.

"Now get in the box," said Witch. I was a little nervous about that; may have seen a red flag, but I got in that box anyway.

"See? I'm in the box and I still have my powers." I shrunk myself to prove it too.

"Now how about we just close the door," Witch said while starting to close the door. I couldn't let that happen. I bolted out the door, growing to regular size while I screamed. My eyes were wide and I was panting as Jack and Witch looked at me. I pulled out my sword and started whacking the cabinet to smithereens. When it seemed like I had done my job, I turned back slowly to see Jack and Witch staring at me with looks of 'I-told-you-so."

"I'm claustrophobic because I'm afraid the walls are going to crush me, not because I'm afraid of being powerless."

"You never really checked if it's true or not, did you Ema? You probably just panicked and bolted every time before you could," guessed Witch.

"This conversation is over," I said, not wanting to get angry again.

"Ema," said Jack, stopping me from leaving. "If the man in the moon says you should be careful, then trust me, you should be careful. Pitch may know something that could hinder you, so he'll probably try to trick you get between a literal rock and a hard place."

"Alright," I said turning to Jack. "I'll be careful. What do you suggest I do?" Jack thought about it for a moment.

"Try not to go off by yourself. Also…you shouldn't follow far away voices that sound familiar."

"Okay," I said. "We should go now."

"Alright," said Witch, getting on her broom. "Bye Ema, thanks for stopping by." She flew off, and Jack and I continued our way to the portal to leave the netherworld.

Once we were on the other side, the plan was simple. Head back to Guardian HQ, give Intel what we know of Pitch's plan, I go back into hiding while being wary of Pitch's possible trap. Jack really wanted me to stay at the pole, so I could really reconsider being a guardian. Personally, I think me being hunted is not what the team needs at that moment.

Unluckily for me, we had only just finished talking about the plan when it decided to be nighttime again. I felt a wave of drowsiness wash over me.

'Uh oh,' I thought. 'Mini-me have you found that stupid grain yet!?'

'No, this thing is hard to find!'

"Ema," said Jack concerned. I was starting to lose my footing; there was no way I could fight this, I was falling asleep! I didn't want to fall asleep, that meant another nightmare, and me being powerless in my own head while Pitch hurts me with his words, I didn't want another nightmare! Then again, I was so tired, sleep would be nice, and if I saw Pitch in my head again, I get him to confess about my memories without confronting him. What to want?! All I knew at that moment was that I needed an excuse, because I did not want Jack to know I was falling asleep!

"What's going on Ema?!" asked Jack as I fell to the ground.

"I need to think about my options," I said sleepily. "I'll just be in stasis for a little bit."

"Ema now is not the time!"

'He has a point,' said Mini-me, panicked. 'Let's sleep somewhere else!'

'Too tired to protest,' I thought. 'Sleep now.'

'NO!' cried Mini-me in my head. Jack's eyes widened as I closed my eyes. I must have been turning white. He knew I was lying about something. Hopefully, he'd think I was scared, which in truth, I kind of was.

Finally, they're out. On the other note, oh no, another nightmare coming up! What will happen in her disastrous dream? You'll have to stay tuned to find out. R&R.
