Here is another chapter on Imagine. I intentionally tried to leave it on a cliffhanger in case I get separated from this piece again. MWHAHAHAHA. I need to keep you interested somehow, this is a good way to do it. Otherwise, this chapter is mainly happy feelings going around; everything is coming up Ema in this chapter. I hope happiness reaches you guys too. Enjoy!

I was snapped out of the reminiscing and brought back to the dark, cold, box I was in. I felt my face: I was crying, crying the relapse of memory. I wiped my tears away, but then started shaking; I was going to cry again.

"I won't forget you, Alice," I said to no one in particular. "Not again." I was kicking myself for forgetting her in the first place.

I rested up against the box, unafraid of my surroundings for once. Everything made sense now! My philosophy, my weapon choices, my love of kids, my preference to lying, my fun personality, my distaste for adults, and even feeling alone; it all made sense! Everything stems from my forgotten past (except my distaste for transportation; that most likely has to do with my new power).

I didn't feel so lost anymore, I didn't feel so confused. Now I know why the Man in the Moon chose me, why he saved me 275 years ago, why he gave me this power. Everything made sense!

I had told Alice I was her protector, and I worked to keep her childhood intact. That's why the Man in the Moon had faith in me. I was her protector; I am a protector, better yet… I really am a Guardian.

I had never felt so happy, never before in my life as Ema Fay. I guess from that I worked a miracle. I had started to cry as I said the words to myself.

"I am a protector…I am a Guardian. I AM A GUARDIAN!" I began laughing to myself as I cried inside that box. Suddenly, but also gradually, from my very core…I began to glow. That just made me laugh giddily even more as the darkness faded away.

From where Jack was flying, searching for his friend Ema in the arctic, he suddenly noticed and erupting bright light from the corner of his eye. He turned, and saw it was no hallucination.

"Ema," he said to himself. He flew quickly in the direction of the light. Once he arrived, he saw it was coming from something buried in the snow.

He summoned the wind to blow all the snow he could off of what was buried. When the wind was just brushing more snow on, he stopped the wind gusts and brushed the rest of the snow off by hand and with his staff. What he found underneath was a frosted black box with light emanating from it.

"Pitch," he said darkly to himself. "He trapped her in here." He banged his fist on the box's door.

"Ema, are you in there!?"

I heard Jack banging on the box from inside, and I just smiled wider and glowed brighter.

"Jack," I said enthusiastically. I leaned up against the box door. "Yes, it's me; I'm in here!"

"Ema! It really is you!" I could tell he was happy to hear my voice. "I'm getting you out of here. Hold on, I'm going to try freezing you out!" I was gun ho for the plan. Of course, while I was leaning up against the door, I noticed the door didn't hold; the door leaned with me; it probably couldn't stand my light and was getting weaker from it. Knowing that just made me laugh and glow more.

I could tell Jack was using his powers to freeze the box wood, and I leaned outward on the door from the inside. Jack started kicking the wood in, and I continued to push out. Our combined efforts broke the door; I was free!

Jack helped me out, lending me a hand considering how stiff I was. Seeing him again made me glow even brighter and smile even wider. I let out a hearty laugh as I collapsed into hugging him.

"I'm so happy to see you," I cried.

"Me too," he said squinting, "as much as I can."

I rubbed my eyes, upon doing so I was relieved that I found the sand grain had come out with my tears and disintegrated from black to gold; no more nightmares for me! I hugged Jack some more, not caring that he was cold. I soon realized I was hugging Jack too tightly and I let go. I went dancing around in the snow, throwing it around happily, singing that I was free while I continued to glow. I was so happy I could fly, and I did.

I shot upwards, twirling in the sky. When I was up there, I used my glowing light to make a light show like fireworks, dancing among the spectacle. I was so happy I had my powers back I just glowed even more, and even more so when my weapons appeared back in my quiver, un-melted.

I zoomed back down, passing Jack who was coming up. I turned my whip into a rope and I lassoed him, slamming him back into the snow. I laughed as he landed face first and glowed brighter. I rushed in to hug him again.

"I'm a Guardian, Jack," I said giddily. "The moon was right! I do belong with you!"

"I take it you saw your memories when you were in there."

"Uh huh, why do you think I'm glowing? I've never been this happy before. I'll tell you all about it."

"Sure, but first, could you dial down the glowing; it's hard to look at you."

"Of course, of course," I obtained a sly look on my face. "I know exactly what to do with it."

I turned away from Jack, extending my hands outward. The light flowed off me like ribbons, gathering all in front of me. I compacted the light until it could fit in my hands; it was very warm. With my mind I molded it until it could take another shape. I opened my hands, and what was left in my hands spurted out light in all directions so even I had to shield my eyes. Lastly, I breathed on it; the remaining light faded away, cooling it down like a masterpiece from a forge.

I cupped my hands, cradling my creation. Jack came up behind me to see what I made.

"It looks like another you," he said.

"It's not just another me," I said smiling, giving off a faint glow. "She's one of my best friends; almost like a sister to me."

"What?" he said looking at me. I turned to him smiling.

"Jack, I'd like you my mini-me," I said holding out my hands. With this, Mini-me opened her eyes.

"Mini-Ema?" he said to himself.

"Ah!" she cried out upon seeing Jack. "Jack Frost! Umm, I'm just an illusion Ema made, just now, only recently." I could tell she was trying to lie to him.

"Mini-me, you're back," I said hugging her to my face.

"I guess I am," she said smiling. "I thought I was a goner for sure."

"Am I missing something?" asked Jack. We turned to him.

"Jack, the thing is… I made Mini-me before I met you. She's been living in my head out, made out of my deepest thoughts. She pops out whenever I need her, or whenever she feels like it, sometimes I bring her out."

"She can even give me extra powers if I ask," said Mini-me. "Like making me big and solid as well as having her powers." Jack put the pieces together.

"That was you who was destroyed by Pitch; you were on your way to save Ema" We nodded.

"I made her to be my friend, but then I met you," I said.

"I had a grudge against you after that," said Mini-me.

"Also, I didn't want anyone to know about her, or they might think I was insane." Jack was rubbing the back of his, trying to take it all in; "What do you think?"

"Ema, I already knew you were crazy, it's why I liked hanging out with you. This doesn't change anything."

"Except for the fact you should know; when Pitch was talking about my friend before you, he was talking about her. I'd never be friends with him." Jack rushed in to hug me this time.

"I've already forgiven you for that; it doesn't matter if you were friends with him or not, you're my friend and I should've heard you out. I'm just glad you're okay. Do you even know what the past month has been like for me?"

"Wait," I pulled out of his hug, "a month?"

"Yeah, it's been a month; Halloween is tonight."

"Oh my gosh," I said. "Pitch is attacking Berwick first. He's going after Jaimie again; more specifically, he's going after Kayla."

What will happen next? We are reaching the climax, people! After around 50 chapters, we're finally reaching the end and we'll get some action while we are at it! You'll just have to wait for the next chapter to be satisfied. Also, a fair warning, the plot may seem a bit similar to the movie at times, you'll just have to bear with me. Until next time, stay tuned!
