Here is the next Chapter of Imagine. This is starting to lead to the climax, and it probably will be the last one for a while considering school will be coming up soon. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

After that bit of information was shared, I had Mini-me crawl back into my head through my ear and we dashed back to Berwick. If we were lucky we would get there before Pitch had his way with the town. I also sent a messenger to the guardians to tell them I was alright and with Jack and where we were heading, yadayadayada. I hoped they would make it so I wouldn't have to fight Pitch on my own; Jack was going to be there, but would he be enough.

On the way to Berwick I told Jack everything that he didn't already know. I told him about how Pitch kept getting into my head before, and how I used Mini-me many times in the past. I also decided to fill him in on everything that happened once we separated; my time in the box and what I saw in my memories.

"So you saved your sister from a bunch of wolves?" I nodded.

"I saved mine from drowning; your backstory sounds more gruesome."

"The wolves didn't eat me!" I protested.

"I know, still you died freezing to death in a …blizzard. Sorry," he said coming to a realization.

"Don't be," I said. "It's not like you knew we were there, did you?" he thought about it for brief moment.

"No I didn't."

"See, nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, I didn't actually die."

"You didn't?"

"Of course not, why do you I died to become like this? Is it because you died? Not everyone is like you."

"But… your final memory was you freezing to death."

"Everyone would think I died, wouldn't they? Well thank you Jack, for aiding me in my first ever illusion; no wonder we're such good friends." Jack was left befuddled.

"Huh? That…that was an illusion?" I nodded with a Cheshire-like grin.

"I can't speak for the man-in-the-moon, but my last memory was of me warming up, and my sister didn't even feel warmer than me. If I had to guess, the man-in-the-moon left me dying for a little bit but then saved me on the edge of death. That way, no one would wonder where I went and they could move on; he also made me lose my memories so that I could move on and wouldn't be depressed for the first few years. He made the illusion that I wasn't even a person." I turned and faced the moon as I continued to fly onward. "You clever guy! I never thought you had it in you! You're cool old man! You're okay in my books!" I glowed a little as I did a little twirl and it simmered out.

"You still feel pretty elated don't you?" asked Jack.

"Mostly," I said. "I'm a little scared about what might happen next. Still, I made a promise to someone, and it's a promise I intend to keep."

"Alright then, Berwick is just up ahead! You ready for this Ema?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," I told him. Then we kept flying onto Berwick.

We made it to Berwick after nightfall. This wasn't good, this meant that Pitch had free reign. He was specifically going after Kayla, so we had to focus our attention in finding her.

When we did find her, she was out with her friends trick-or-treating. She had two girl-friends: one was of Asian ethnicity, and the other one was black skinned. Kayla was dressed as a fairy, the Asian friend was dressed as a doctor or a scientist, I'm not sure, and the dark friend was dressed as an elf warrior.

Jack was going to approach Kayla, but then I stopped him so we could first find out if anything had happened yet. So we were eavesdropping, it was for the greater good.

"Okay, so far we have some chips and a couple chocolate bars," said Kayla. "Any other houses we should go to?"

"Can't we call it a night?" said doctor girl.

"We've barely got anything though," said Kayla.

"My parents say we shouldn't have too many treats anyway."

"You're just scared," said the elf warrior.

"You've got to admit, the decorations are doing a really good job this year!"

"Yeah," said Kayla. "You have a point. For some reason, I'm not having as much fun; there's eeriness in the atmosphere, it's like something is going to happen."

"It's because the demons aren't here," I told Jack. "This isn't Halloween, its nightmare-fest."

"Isn't that the same thing," Jack whispered to me.

"Most of the time it doesn't bother people on this night," I told him. "It's the perfect chance for Pitch to gain more power."

"People are too scared to have fun," said Jack. "Halloween is going to be a bust."

"People's imaginations are getting the better of them."

"Why hasn't Pitch attacked yet?"

"He's either waiting for the right opportunity or he's not here yet."

"Then we better tell Kayla what's going on before he has a chance to attack."

"Right, but what about her friends, can they see you?"

"I don't know," said Jack.

"We need to make sure nothing happens to them either. He might try to attack them because they are affiliated with her."

"They probably won't see you either way." Once he said that I grimaced at him. "Sorry."

I shrug it off and return my attention to the group of friends.

"Okay so it's settled," said the elf warrior. "We'll try…to get our bags half-way full."

"Okay," said Kayla. "First I have to go to the bathroom." There was a public bathroom near our spot. Kayla ran off to the bathroom, leaving us with a complication.

"They're splitting up, now what are we going to do!" I said.

"We need to split up too," said Jack. "I'll go tell Kayla what's going on, you protect her friends." I stopped Jack from flying off.

"Jack, what can I do to stop them if they start walking into something dangerous? At least Kayla is in one spot; I'll go protect her, you go protect her friends because there is a chance they can see you."

"You have a point, but what if they can't see me?"

"My scenario is still easier to handle because Kayla is stationary. I'll go protect her; you try your luck with her friends." After that I flew off to the bathroom.

Going into closed buildings is hard considering we're living on a different plane of existence. To avoid the unpleasant feeling of passing through the door like a ghost, I made my body flat as paper and folded myself through the door crack. Once inside I realized something, Kayla wasn't going to be in the bathroom forever, and there was a chance Jack couldn't be seen by her friends: Kayla had to know what was going on.

There was a slight problem, Kayla couldn't see me; How could I tell her? That gave me an idea! I remembered that from Jack's experience how he got Jaimie to believe in him. I had to try once again to get her to believe in me, her safety depended on it. It should work because Kayla has already heard about me; I just need to let her know I'm here.

Well, that's all I'm writing for a while. All this chapter really had for you guys was some more information on Ema. Of course, I've got to have that; just because she has her memories back doesn't mean we've stopped learning about her. More information will come up in later chapters and it will even get more exciting, when I get to writing it again. Well, you just have to stay tuned until then. Bye-Bye for now!
