Boulder and his awesome biker posse were alarmed by how this fucking crazy preacher was gaining followers like this. Sure not everyone is agreeing with Mr. Belmont, but it was a lot of people coming to help congregate with Belmont to possibly try and kill Cody, whom they know think is the Antichrist as well. Dave and Selma weren't convinced for obvious reasons, and he noticed that the good friends of Cody who worked at the West African restaurant were not very convinced either. Then there was the family that Ned, Cody's good neighbor was good friends with and looks up to, who also didn't look very convinced. But a majority of the people attending this have officially become Belmont's followers.
Perhaps it was a good time to warn Cody about this. "Boys, i think we got the biggest fucking problem ever." said Boulder.
"No shit, Sherlock." said Buffalo. "If this crazy preacher continues this, there'll be nowhere safe for your nephew." He let out a loud burp and pointed at Dave and Selma. "We should go talk to those two. They are good people and we've known them." Boulder had a thinking look on his face. "Do you think they can help us out with the kid?" asked Boulder to his boss. "we've known them as long as Cody's parents have."
"hmm, well let me warn Cody and see how it goes. Besides Hell is supposed to be kept a secret from the rest of the world."
"True. But Hell might be exposed anyway by this Angel guy." Said Boomslang pointed. "There has got to be a way to stop this from spreading like a plague or a virus."
"Boomslang is right." Said Tomahawk. "Belmont is targeting the kid and it's only a matter of time before he does something evil to him."
"I'll call him then, and warn him about what's going on." Boulder said. "Maybe his demon friends can kill these pious fuckers before it gets out of hand." Pulling out his phone, he did just that.
In Hell, Cody and Loona were in the apartment with Johnny, who popped by for a visit. The male husky hellhound sat on the couch as he was having some tea that Loona offered him.
"so how ya doing, Cody?"
"I'm ok."
"So what brings you here, John?" Loona asked as she sat on the couch with him.
The male hellhound let out a frown. "Guys, I wanna tell you something." Johnny said.
"What is it?"
"Well, my ex-girlfriend is getting remarried." Johnny looked sad.
"Why are you upset about it?"
"No, I'm not upset, kiddo." Said Johnny. "Well, I just feel a little... uncomfortable. I am happy for her, but deep down, I feel a little... bummed at the same time."
Loona was silent and didn't know what to make of this at first. Then she had a look of realization. "You know what? I think I know what the problem is."
"What's that?"
"You still have a little feelings for her."
"Pfft. Come on. We broke up almost a year ago." Johnny protested. "Our relationship wasn't working out so well, and that's why we cut the knot."
"Maybe something deep down is telling you that you still love her." Loona pointed.
Johnny was silent and realized that Loona was right about all of this. "Ok, ok, maybe I do have a little bit of love for her. But... I just don't understand it."
"I know, I know, it's complicated." Johnny clasped his head with his right hand. "What can I do to stop this from going into my head?"
"just tell her how you feel. Sometimes... admitting things is the best way to get rid of some negative emotions."
Johnny was quiet in this response for at least five seconds. "Yeah. I just don't want her to think I am a freak, a creep or a pervert."
"She won't John. Believe me." The female hellhound patted him on the back in encouragement.
"Ok." The male hellhound smiled. "I just need to talk to her about this and get it out of me."
Suddenly, Cody saw his cellphone blaring on the coffee table, and picked it up. "Hey Uncle Boulder. What's going on?"
"Kiddo, I think your worst fears have been realized." Said his uncle.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean Mr Belmont is already gathering followers and turning many people in town against you."
"What?!" Cody exclaimed as his heart was beating rapidly. "They actually believe him?"
"he has Adam with him and he showed himself to the public, showing off his somewhat awesome guitar abilities." Boulder clarified.
Now Cody was more worried that ever before. "This is so not good." He said to himself.
"It's not a total loss." Buffalo pointed. "Dave and Selma are not buying it, and some other people are not with Belmont. Dave even spoke out against modern day Jim Jones, though he got punched in the face by one of Belmont's asswipe followers in the process."
Then a small glimmer of hope appeared in Cody's heart. He was happy that not everyone was still persuaded that he was the Antichrist. Only... most of them in his home town were against him now. "It's not safe for me up there anymore." Said Cody. "I can never go back now."
Loona looked concerned about what her adopted brother was talking about.
"We'll just find a way to kill Mr Belmont." Said Boulder. "If he really wants to kill my nephew, then he'll sure as Hell have to get through me first."
"he and his fanatics will have to get through all of us if he wants you that badly." Said Boomslang.
Cody smiled, knowing that his uncle and best friends would have his back in times of need. But what about Ed and Beatrice? His own grandparents? They are both Christians, and love God and Jesus so much. So they probably know about this. Would they hate and disown him if they find out if he has been living with demons all this time since the tragic fire?
All of this overthinking was starting to make him faint and collapse in the floor from all of this happening to him. "Nowhere on Earth is safe for me anymore!" He began to realize and sounded like he was about to have a panic attack.
"hey hey hey, calm down, kiddo." Said Boulder.
"How can I calm down if Mr Belmont have turned most of the town against me?"
Loona walked over to the kid and put gentle hands on the kids' shoulders, trying to calm him down. "It's ok, Cody. Calm down."
"Yeah kid. It's not the end of the world." Johnny added, trying to help his friend out.
Blitzo was hearing the commotion from another room and rushed to see what had happened. "What the fu- I mean, what the Duce is going on here?"
"Mr Belmont turned most of the people in my town against me." Cody said. "Nowhere is safe for me up there anymore!"
"Cody, please. You're spiraling." Said Loona. She pulled out a paper bag for him to breathe through, and the kid promptly breathed in and out of the thing.
"Look, we'll just kill those pious fuckers for you,"
"But, many of those people are friends and people that I know. I don't want to hurt them."
"I hate to say this," said Boulder, "But they probably don't care anymore."
Cody was quiet and said at last, "but I am not a killer."
"Your uncle's right." Said Loona. "They're probably not your friends anymore. Now they might do anything to kill yay just because some pious fuckwad named Belmont told them that you were the Antichrist. Which I know you are not." Cody looked like he was conflicted again. "We might as well call up the rest of the fuckers together for a meeting."
Loona pulled out her phone to call those close to Cody to gather them around together.
They all met at Stolas' chateau since the apartment wouldn't be able to support all of Cody's cronies at once. Tommy, Celeste, and Tommy's own platoon were there as well, though his legionnaire comrades were a little uncomfortable sitting in-between two big hellhounds, which revealed to be Tex and Johnny In the living room. Alas, his friends have been down here before when rescuing the kid from Martha and her mental case family. So, as soon as everyone was settled, Loona then said: "Listen up, fuckers. We got a little bit of a problem."
"You got hemorrhoids?" Moxxie asked with a smug look on his face.
Loona just scowled at him. "You wish, fatty." then to everyone else, she added "that Belmont has gathered himself a congregation of fucking mental cases and made them think he is the Antichrist." Stolas, Moxxie, Millie, and the others looked surprised to hear this.
"Well that is just perfect." said Moxxie. "I guess he made a lot of people 'drink the Kool-aid' under his influence."
"And it's not even cyanide." said Tex. "what can we do?"
"I suggest we take care of the fucking problem before it gets out of fucking hand." Blitzo pulled out his golden pistol.
"Ooh! Sounds like open season for me!" Millie sounded excited.
"Wait a minute!" Cody said. "They can be my friends. I don't want to kill anyone."
"I told you before," said Loona, "We might not have a choice if your life is on the line, Cody. We might have to cut some heads off."
"But... what about my grandparents?" Cody said. "They still live there. What if they turn against me?" he began to curl himself on the floor and began rocking back and forth from all of this going on. "I can't just kill my own friends and family like this! I can't! I won't just kill all of the people I care about!"
Loona tried soothing him again. "Cody? Cody."
"I can't believe this is all happening to me!"
"Kiddo, please calm down." Loona continued trying to help him
"How can I calm down if everyone in my town completely hates me and thinks of me as the most evil war criminal?!" the kid continued sounding hysterical. "I can never trust anyone on Earth ever again! Who can I even trust on Earth anymore?"
"Cody, Cody!" Tommy held his brother close for a hug as the kid was sobbing. "It's ok. It's not your fault. It's Belmont's. But, how did he convince many people to join him? Everyone never takes him seriously."
"They do if he brought in Adam to help him out." said Moxxie.
"Adam?" Stolas recognized. "The leader of the Exorcists Adam?" he looked shocked.
"The one and only." said Tex.
"This is so not good." Octavia pointed.
"Of course it's not good." Millie said. "Given how he and his holy posse kill demons for population control, it can never be fucking good!"
"But what if... what if I am the Antichrist?" Cody began speculating
"Oh bullshit." said Tommy. "The day you would be that is the day the sky on Earth turns green."
Celeste stepped up to try and comfort the boy since she is like a big sister to him too. "Oui. Zat is all just crazy talk. There is no way in Hell-no pun intended, that you are the doombringer of ze Earth." It was her turn to give him a loving, caring, and supporting hug. "Everything will be ok, Cody. And... this is about your safety and well-being."
"Celeste speaks wisely." said Loona. "But first, we need to figure out a way to kill Jim Jones up there."
"Right." said Chibuzo. "He is the source of all the problems happening right now. Boys, what do you say we take care of this so-called priest?"
"I couldn't be any more in than you, Chibuzo." said Ali with confidence.
"No one tries to kill an innocent child and gets away with it." said Gerard. "They messed with the wrong guy."
"Looks like we got someone to take down." Luc cracked his knuckles.
"And now we have to finish the job." Pierre added. "we'll get this over with quickly."
"Hold on," said Loona. "I admire your enthusiasm. But we need to plan this through. angels and demons can't really go to war with each other since the treaty after the War of Heaven."
