I have restarted this story under the nameThe Stark
This will be where I will post everything.
I'm changing Leon Stark to be where I'll post my rough draft so I can listen to it . Which will help me fix errors and I can add more content.
It has been a day and a half since we left Kings Landing and I was enjoying myself by fishing off the boat while we sailed up north. The first day I had some luck and caught several good size mackerel and other small size fish. I suppose I should have been surprised in finding several fish species that I recognized. I don't remember reading about them, since I've been reborn, my memory of them must be from my past life.
The next day I decided to cut up three of the smallest mackerel and use them as bait. So frustrated, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when my lines kept breaking throughout the day since I was trying to catch bigger fish with the same flimsy pole and lines. Through what I guess is mostly luck I did end up catching a nice juvenile blue fin tuna. I was able to pull it close enough to the boat. With the crews help, using pikes, we were able to secure it. Then pull it up on the ship. Watching and listening to the crew as explained what they were doing, while they dress the tuna on deck. I was even more fascinated with the cooking furnace that they had in the middle of the ship. Completely secured with fire bricks to prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the ship. I had never really thought about how they cooked on a ship so it was a quite an interesting experience to watch them cook the tuna for us and the crew.
The next day, late in the morning, as I relieved myself off the side of the ship. I noticed that several of the sailors seem to be in a rush with worried looks on their faces. Looking up at the sky in the horizon not seeing any clouds, I pulled Tom of the sailors to the side that I recognize from yesterday who helped clean the tuna that I caught. After asking Tom, what's going on he pointed towards the the back and to the right of the ship. Where I can see two ships in the distance. Telling me that the captain believes that they are pirate ship and they have been moving closer to us.
Waking my uncle up, I informed him of what was happening before he and I went to the captain and asked him what his plan was, and what we could do to help. The captain informed us that he had flagged the other two ships that are traveling with us. He started ordering the men to pull the sails up. Turning to me and saying that we are too heavy to outrun the pirates and he did not want the sails to be damaged during the fight.
I had placed two of my bodyguards in each of the other chips leaving me with three. Listening to my uncle talked to the captain and them talking out of strategy. Hoping that the pirates only thought of us as merchant ships with its usual crew. My uncle decided to have all my soldiers make themselves less noticeable as we waited for the pirate ships to move beside us. Before the pirate ship got close enough to us my uncle had me go to my cabin with two spearman as well as one of my bodyguards.
Using direct control I watched as the pirate ship got close to our ship. I heard a man from the pirate ship start yelling demands but I could not fully understand what was being said. The voices were coming through as if I was listening to them through a heavy set door. When the decks look like they were close enough I ordered my bodyguards on our ship to jump over and start slaughtering the men. The pirates seemed to be taken back but started fighting back fiercely. But the bodyguards had made enough room that my men rushed out of their hiding spots and went over to the pirate ship to Pirate ship to take it over. One of our ships that had the least amount of cargo Had most of my men on board. They never pull their sails up and so we're ready to maneuver their ship to the second pirate ship. When they were close enough two bodyguards jumped Over onto their ship and started the slaughter. They were quickly followed by my men who quickly subdued the unsuspecting pirates.
I then focus my thoughts back to the bodyguards that I had fighting the pirates that got close to the ship that I was on. Noticing the fighting was much more fierce. I was able to see that there was much more pirates on this ship and they seem to have better fighters. I noticed several of my men were down as well as a good portion of the sailors with us but we were pushing the pirates back and cornering them. After one of my bodyguards sliced one man in half the rest of the men behind him started throwing down their weapons. Releasing my control I had ordered one of the men station to guard me tell my uncle to take them as prisoner and not offer them the black.
After the pirates and the vessels were secured I left my cabin to go up to the deck. My uncle decided to move all the pirates to the second ship, since it was larger. They were being guarded by two of my bodyguards as well as the majority of my soldiers. What was exciting for me was that the pirates were pretty fruitful in they're plundering since we found valuable gems as well as pretty hefty chests full of gold.
After my man had emptying most of the pirate captains quarters. I went over to investigate it more closely. Looking at the table and the desk. I was able to find several little notches where hidden compartments were. To my joy I found several maps and letters As well as a few bags of coins and trinkets that I had pocketed.
While I was going through papers in the captain's quarter of the pirate ship I have been feeling a tingle against my skin. I had not really focused on it, I then noticed that one of my bodyguards was making a unnatural humming sound. Recalling that this is the one that I had concerns over. Moving over to him I started to move some of the armors to look at his runic arrays more closely. What I saw caused me to be alarmed and immediately ordered my bodyguards to run out of the cabin and off the ship into the ocean. He just made it into the water before a huge explosion rock the ship causing me to fall and hit my head against the side of the table. As I started to regained my focused couple of my men ran into the room and started pulling me out of the cabin and off the ship. My head still muddled I finally was able to notice that the ship that I was pulled off of was tilting dangerously to the side.
