Chapter 20 – Innocence
It was a hard journey, one that Thor had suffered once. An old goddess had reached out, she who was referred to as the Celestial Goddess of Wisdom. Thor did not know what she wanted, he even hesitated to go there. 'The Realms are going through difficult times', the Allfather thought. Yet it was the voice of Bor within that convinced Thor to go.
"My mother rarely reaches out grandson, and when she does you must listen.", he heard Bor speak and then was silent.
In a few moments Thor reached his destination and in front of him was his host. "Hail Athena Goddess of Wisdom and Warfare.", Thor called out.
"Hail Thor, God of Thunder and Allfather of Asgard.", came the response.
Having reached the planet Shili, Hera flew towards the planet surface and with Ahsoka's help she set the Ghost down near Gabriel's homestead – Shell Cottage.
Kanan and Hera exited the ship and headed towards his door. They knocked once and the doors opened revealing a disheveled Gabriel.
"I assume something horrible has happened?", Gabriel asked.
"You could say that.", Kanan answered and beckoned Gabriel to follow him. As the three headed back to the ship Hera and Kanan tried to explain, unsuccessfully. As they reached inside, they saw Rayleigh – God of Destruction standing near Mjolnir, with Ahsoka and Zeb curiously looking at him. Rayleigh picked up Mjolnir and whispered, "Take me to him mallet."

As the newly liberated Light Cruiser travelled though hyperspace, Bo Katan looked back at Din Djarin. She respected this foundling, but couldn't help but internally laugh at the irony of the situation. Here they were, it was Bo Katan's mission to recover the Darksabre and now the blade had a new wielder, it had chosen a new Manda'lor.
Din himself was not worried about this precarious situation. He was quiet, ever since the Jedi came and took Grogu the young man had been silent. He had left the darksabre in front of Bo Katan and went to the commissary onboard the light cruiser. Cara Dune had left along with Fennec Shand taking Gideon with him, and now only three mandalorians were left onboard the cruiser.
Suddenly alarms started beeping and Bo Katan's young companion Koska Reeves immediately dropped the ship out of hyperspace and came upon a maelstrom. Djarin had rushed inside the cockpit asking what happened.
They saw a giant dark being with wings like a bat, fire emitting from his eyes, mouth and nose. He had two horns, one was broken and in his hands were a flaming sword and a whip. He was attacking a smaller figure with weapons in each hand and to white feathery wings sprouting from his back, wearing Mandalorian armor, painted blue with the symbol of House Vizsla on its center. Bo Katan recognised the figure, not by his armour but by the lightsaber in his right hand. This blade looked exactly like the Darksabre, but was white instead of black. They had come upon Tarre Vizsla fighting the Balrog.
"What is this?", Djarin asked.
"I'm getting us out of here.", Reeves spoke.
"No.", Bo Katan said. "That man is Tarre Vizsla. He is the one who created the Darksabre. We must help. Target the dark figure."
Reluctantly Reeves followed her order and fired at the Balrog. The shots never reached as the former Vanir (currently the Balrog) deflected them back at the ship.
"Shields have taken a beating.", Djarin pointed out. As he said that Tarre Vizsla threw the sword in his other hand, a pure metal one at his adversary's head. The sword was glowing red with sparks coming out of it. It damaged the Balrog who roared in pain, but sound was not heard in space. He then flew straight at the monster and with his other blade left a deep gash in his chest. As he flew around for another pass, the Balrog trapped him with his whip, and unleashed a fiery breath upon him. As the flames covered Tarre Vizsla, the light cruiser continued firing at the Balrog… to no avail.
A brief moment passed, though it felt like eternity before Koska spoke, "I'm detecting a high-speed object heading towards the giant one." As she said, the all saw through the viewport, a small object covered in purple energy colliding with the Balrog. As it the target in the chest, the Balrog exploded, leaving nothing behind but a sword and a whip which was still wrapped around Tarre Vizsla. His lightsaber and armour were severely damaged, with some burns on his body.
"Was that a hammer?", Djarin asked.
"Yes.", came the reply.
"Those flames… they damaged beskar?", Reeves asked.
"Let's worry about that later. We need to get him inside.", Djarin said.
"You all are rather slow… aren't you?", came a voice from behind them. Turning around, they all raised their blasters and fired at the source. The blaster bolts turned into purple orbs the moment they were fired. The three saw an old man with a proud and fierce expression, hammer in one hand.
"Take me to your med bay.", he spoke in authoritative voice. In his other hand was an unconscious Tarre Vizsla forcefully propped, with his head down.
Seated opposite to each other Thor and Athena had exchanged pleasantries. "I am glad you chose to answer my summons Thor. However, I am saddened by my son's death."
"Bor died in combat, fighting for what he believed was right. It is for his sake that I answered your summons great-grandmother.", Thor answered.
"Then let us get to the point. An ancient primordial beast has been resurrected. One whose power lies in innocence.", Athena spoke and waited for Thor to speak.
"If my lessons were correct, there was such a creature during the war between Titans and Celestials?", Thor asked.
"Precisely. The Ophiotaurus has returned.", Athena spoke.
